Question: Does this make me a bad son? Posted: 09 Oct 2018 01:08 PM PDT I am a high school guy with a beautiful stepmother. She is 6 years older than I am. Dad married a much younger woman. She is the greatest mom ever. I REALLY LIKE HER. I try to do everything I can to help her. She is always there for me when I need anything. My dad was away on a business trip and a VERY BAD storm came up. There was wind, rain, hail, lighting very close and thunder that was very loud. My stepmother was VERY AFRAID of the storm and came in my bedroom in her shorty nightgown and got in bed with. She said getting in bed with me would make her feel safe. Every guy reading this knows what happened. I got a b0ner the size of Texas. Does this make me a bad son? |
Question: In laws took 9 mo baby without asking? Posted: 09 Oct 2018 01:04 PM PDT I decided to change while his family kept an eye on the baby. I come out and the baby is gone, his mom told me they took her to the corner store without the car seat. My bf didn't know they took her and was also upset. A minute later they got there I immediately got the baby, and asked where they went and she said nowhere. I took her to the room and started panicking. My bf followed a couple of mins later and it turned out he told his family something. I think I need to tell them something as well. My mom was on her way to pick us up so I got our stuff ready. I disagree with a lot that they do. They abuse their animals, and think it's ok to hit babies (not beat them but give them a tap and say pow pow) When I was ready to speak to both his sister had left. I think I need to tell his mom something too bcus she knew what they were going to do. I want to tell them that this is the last time they take my daughter without permission, no matter if it's to the neighbors or to the store. That they put her life in danger by taking her without a car seat and if they even got in a little crash she could of died. Also I don't believe in hitting my nine month old baby even if it's not really hitting. That if I find out they lay a hand on her or do any of those things again I will not hesitate to call the police and it'll be the last time we come over. Is that too harsh? My cousin thinks I sound stupid, dramatic, and ungrateful. |
Question: Is it wrong for a mother to do this? Posted: 09 Oct 2018 12:52 PM PDT Am I over reacting or is my mom being a b**ch? I am 21 years old and I am in college and work two jobs. I stay at my boyfriends house four times a week just to spend time with him because he works too much and my mom is upset and wants me to pay her rent to keep my bedroom at her house. This has never been a problem since recently and she knows I'm already struggling to get by with school and working so much. She tells me that if I'm not going to be home every day then I don't need a bedroom and that I should have to pay for it. I'm pretty convinced my mom hates me and other people say so too because she picks favorites with my older sister, and my sister is 25 year old and lives there too and doesn't have to pay rent, and she has a career and her dog, that my mom is allergic to, lives there.I think she might be trying to find a way to kick me out but is that wrong for a mother to do that? I'm trying to build myself. Like if could be worse, I could be on drugs or stealing from her but she's mad I'm not sleeping in my bed every night. Am I over reacting or is my mom just crazy? |
Question: What do you do with parents who enable their teenage son and daughter? Posted: 09 Oct 2018 12:47 PM PDT I am older but my parents (Mom and step-father) enable my younger half-siblings. My sister is violent, assaulted my step-father and he bailed her from having to get in trouble legally. My brother has done every bad thing you can imagine and they let HIM decide what school to go to. He picks the public school with the party crowd. They also cover up and say "oh they are doing fine" when people ask. Meanwhile my Dad and step-Mom have two kids also who behave well and are respectful and good people. They had rules growing up. So what do I do with my Mom and her husband? I see them once a month and feel I have to since they are family. They are nurturing to their kids but terrible in discipline. My mother let me and my brother off too easily as well like making excuses when I called in a threat at school or justifying my brother's habitual porn viewing. She would correct my brother and I, even get mad, but then no punishments enforced. |

Question: Do I have an immature mom? Posted: 09 Oct 2018 09:36 AM PDT Ok I'm not saying her name because she's my mom but 1.screams and cusses with no reason 2.Calls me and my siblings names and cusses at us when she's mad 3.Argues with no logical reason but she's an adult 4.Uses racist words towards cashiers and other people when she's mad 5.likes to use me and my bros mental disorders as a way to always prove her point 6.Has a mindset of her being right and never being wrong towards anyone 7.Says she dosent talk about atheists but calls Christians dumb 8.Cant accept the fact that me and my siblings are smarter then her she didn't go to college and can barely do my sister homework when she was in 2nd grade 9.Tells me and my bro About her money problems even though there's nothing we can do 10.She can never keep any type big relationship with anyone cus she is just so rude I know I may not be perfect But this dosent show at all that I have a mature mom Thoughts |
Question: Mother-in-law is going through depression, what should we do? Posted: 09 Oct 2018 09:18 AM PDT Over the last 6-9 months my mother-in-law has really gone down hill. My husband and I live 12 hours away but his siblings and spouses live nearby her. My husband went to visit his family about 4 months ago and that's when he first noticed something weird was going on. Throughout the summer, (according to my husbands sister) there were days when she didn't show up to work or went in late, she stopped paying the bills (so my father-in-law took over that), the house foreclosed and shes so much more angry. She ended up getting fired from her job about 3 months ago. Now she stays up until 5am everyday and sleeps until 3-4pm. She doesn't ever make dinner and never leaves the house and hardly showers. My father-in-law has suggested to get help but she refuses. He has been putting in 14 hour days at work so he hasn't been around as much as before (but with her not working he needs to work more). We don't know what triggered everything but we think a factor has to do with the fact that all of her children are moved out of the house. I know we live so far away, but I feel so helpless. Is it that we can do as a family to help her? Thanks! |
Question: I cry when i defend my sister from narcissistic mother? Posted: 09 Oct 2018 09:06 AM PDT Im 20 now and responsible, but this is not the case when i was little. Every time i defend my sister when my mother is shiuting at them and making them cry... and in the end it works out, i uncontrollably cry. Anyone knows the explanation to this? |
Question: Why do i hate being alone so much? Posted: 09 Oct 2018 08:15 AM PDT The other day, my dad and I were at a restaurant and they didnt serve anything that i liked. So my dad told me that I could go to another place nearby that we both like. He said that i could get something and eat it there while he ate his food where we were. I really didnt want to. But, i knew that he would be annoyed if i didnt just bc i didnt want to be alone. So i walked out and made it 10 feet away, stopped, thought about whether i really needed to eat, and quickly decided that i could wait until dinner. So i walked back in and whenever my dad came back with his food i told him that i didnt want to go alone so i would just wait til dinner to eat. He was confused and bothered by this and said "so you would rather starve yourself than go a minute away and eat alone?" And i said "...yeah". It annoys me too. I dont understand why i just hate being alone but im pretty sure ive always been this way. It is a little bit easier for me to do it if i m getting something take-out because i know that i wont be alone/out for very long. Another thing is i get sad when im alone. Especially if i have nothing to distract me. All of the things that i can be sad about just build up and i have nothing else to think about. Whenever my dad and i go out to dinner with a friend i feel so happy just to have company. And then dinner is over and we go back home and i need to distract myself yet again or i ll have all these bottled up thoughts Please help me out here, i appreciate it |
Question: Why does my cousin copy my look? Posted: 09 Oct 2018 08:09 AM PDT At one party I wore boots and did my hair and makeup and earrings and the my cousin put pictures of herself on Facebook with the same way I did my hair and makeup and my poses. |

Question: I have an estranged aunt who is on Facebook. What would happen if I friended her? Posted: 09 Oct 2018 05:20 AM PDT She is estranged from my mother's family cause she is a bully and belittles everyone in the family. She uses her children as pawns and uses them to look good herself. She is incapable of doing a good deed without bragging and caused great embarrassment to her parents now deceased. She also bullied her sister when the sister was dealing with a midlife nervous breakdown and belittles her son while showering praise on her daughters. Lastly, she lied about her husband and claimed he had an affair when he did not. She's divorced now. So while we have not had a relationship with this cruel person since 2010 what would happen if I Facebook friended her or her two daughters who we also are estranged from? I see the son from time to time since he is distant from her so we welcome him to family activities. He grew up with his Dad in his teen years so turned out good as his Dad was a good guy stuck with a bad wife. |

Question: Opinions about 18yo daughter and her boyfriend.? Posted: 08 Oct 2018 10:13 PM PDT I have 18yo daughter. She works full time recently finished high school. Lives at home and required to pay/care for her pet. working on getting license/ car. She started dating a guy 4 months ago. He is 23, lives at his parents home, not in school, no job. His income is from a band he s in. These 2 have been sleeping here together all the time for 2 mos! I m not ok with this. I said explicitly this was not to be a thing. Neither respected my request. I get my daughter is18 and can t control. I wake up after 3 nights in a row to him here to a note from my girl, he was here again, she got drunk/sick, he refused to leave her. I was livid. She knows better, she is underage. I Told them sleepovers are over since they can t respect my home. Coming in all hours and drinking now. He went off on me. Told me I took advantage of my kid, he was protecting her for being drunk/sick and I was being rude for not allowing sleeping in my house. He said I m making her feel unwanted and they are looking for a place to live. He started mocking me, accusing me of things that weren t true. My girl was crying asking us to stop because i told him he can t take care of himself, needs to stop being a bum and get a job. He continued. I asked him to get out of my home. He refused. He still refused to leave until my daughter left with him. Threatened to call cops to get him out of here. I ve never had a bad relationship with my daughter. We ve always been close. She s never acted this way. |
Question: Should I invite my brother to my daughters birthday? Posted: 08 Oct 2018 08:47 PM PDT My daughter will be a year old soon & I'm having a hard time deciding if I should invite my brother or not. My brother & I are very close, however I didn't like how he & his family acted at my baby shower. They basically helped themselves to food, but didnt get us any gift. His mother also invited people I didn't even know where gonna come (she never asked me if it was ok). She invited her boyfriend without asking me (I don't know him, could be a great guy, but I worry about her having men over that I don't know around my daughter & no one knew who he was or his background so that scares me to cause he could be a child molester or rapist or I don't know). They didn't talk to anyone & just acted depressed the whole time. So although I am close to my brother, should I invite him & tell him to tell me if he decides to invite others or should I just not invite them? It worries me cause I am afraid of them getting mad if I don't, but I also dont want them acting like that around my daughters birthday. |

Posted: 08 Oct 2018 04:19 PM PDT Is it a lesbian crush, obsession or do you think I just really admire and like her as a friend only? I'm being obsessed over someone who I shared a brief friendship with during my childhood years. When i was in 5th grade there's a university student who worked as a volunteer at my primary school temporary. She works with me every week in my class. At that time i was only a 10 year old child and she is a 20 year old women. I don't even know why I get attracted to an adult. She's a nice and friendly person, I immediately warm up to her since the first day I met her. We talked together regularly at class and I really enjoy her company. After I left primary school, we didn't see each other again. A few year later, I attempted to reconnect with her via email. She was happy to hear from me again at the beginning but after awhile I tried to message her again for a few more times over the course of several days and she will only give shorts replies and never initiates a conversation. Although she still reply to my message, but I sensed she is no longer interested to maintain contact with me anymore and she's only replying to my message just to be polite. From then on, I got the hint and stopped contacting her again. Now it's been more than 9 years since I last heard from her, but I still think of her from time time? How can I move on and stop being fixating on a person who is long gone from my life. |

Question: Is it weird my boyfriend gets into the bed with his mom? Posted: 08 Oct 2018 03:22 PM PDT I see this when we go away on vacation with his family. It's at a condo. I am in the living room and he goes into the bedroom and gets into the bed with his mom and hangs out for a little bit in the mornings. I feel so uncomfortable by this. He is also a bit of a mama's boy. The past time I was away with them I got the courage to go in there and she I said something, I can't even remember what I said, something like oh you're in the bed! And his mom just laughed and said "this is how it is at home!" 24 years old curling up into the bed with his mom... not snuggling but like getting into the bed under the covers. Is that weird?? |
