If you just met him and hung out for the first time or if he approached you as a complete stranger? IMO, I think that most girls would rather be asked in person rather than over social media. It shows confidence and bravery to walk up to a random girl and meet her in person. However, it's probably a better decision to ask a girl in college rather than out in public. But it still works outside of college. Even then, college students are more open to meeting new people, Now for me, I'd rather to talk to her & get to know her before asking, I'm not the type of guy to just ask her right away. I'd also say that I'm new here and I'm looking to make some new friends. When I said: "Getting to know her", I meant a simple conversation that doesn't last too long. |

She's 20 I'm 24 we had all kinds of plans to get married to have kids etc. She even has a tattoo of the day we started dating. Anyways she lived with me and my family for a year everything was great we got into occasionall arguments nothing real big. We signed a lease to move into a apartment and the day before she packed all her stuff up and left without notice. I was heartbroken and still am. Being very emotional I didn't beg for her back but I've continually reached out to her over and over to just get ignored. She's only called me to ask if I've told anyone she's talking to people? Really heartbreaking I gave her my whole world and it's like she sees me as valueless. I found out we broke up because she took all of our stuff off of social media. That's all i got. I will say towards the last week of our relationship I saw her slipping away and began to get desperate asking how can we fix this basically begging she kept saying everything was okay then she was gone. I think I may have been to clingy which helped her do what she did still doesn't make it right. Nobody saw this coming with me and her at all. She was my best friend and girlfriend. I've asked to meet her in person she ignored me. She knows I still want to be with her how do I flip the script and get her back? No contact? A lot of the time she will reply to my texts 12-24 hrs later, she doesn't really reciprocate the same sort of cute messages I send her anymore and just 2 days ago it was my bday and I wasn't wished a happy birthday. I surprised her with flowers once in awhile. I'd take her to to eat dinner or take a walk at the park, movies, comedy shows, bowling. ferries. we werent perfect.We had typical fights/misunderstandings. mostly on my part but we made up. but THEN by month 5, our convos were getting dull but I took that as us getting comfy then her nagging started and relationship just fell in a rut. Im a not a perfect man and she isnt perfect either. I am not the life of the party type a guy, got an ego,always late to things, and suck at communicating becasue im sensitive. She is very independent and tough skinned.3 months in this rut and she began making quite rude comments. This rose my temper I just resented her for some of her insensitivity I laughed it off at 1rst but this made me spiteful. We were at my house the other day, sitting on the couch, and we were getting uncomfortable sitting up so we decided to lay down. Later after he left, my mom came up to me and although she personally didn't have that much of a problem with it she said not to do it front of my dad, he wouldn't like it or approve of it. Then a few days ago, I was at my boyfriends house and we always lay on the floor of his room propped up with pillows and watch TV. His grandma was there, and after I left he told me she said that while she's there we're not allowed to lay on the floor together. What is with that? What is the problem with laying by each other? How is it any different than sitting? It's even weirder because both of our moms seem fine with it but apparently my dad would have a problem with it and his grandma didn't like it at all. Like I said, I just don't understand how laying together is any different than sitting really close together and why it is such a big deal. It sucks too because telling us not to do it is just going to make us sneaky about it and I don't want to be going behind their backs but we aren't going any farther than just cuddling so it's just a bit frustrating. I've seen people my age whose parents let them and their boyfriend/girlfriend have sleepovers and we can't even cuddle. Does anyone have an explanation for this? Thanks. |

There are quite a few problems though.... 1) He's afraid of my mom so he doesn't come over to my house anymore 2) he doesn't return the 'favor' cuz he's 'not good at it' 3) he got mad at me for going out with friends to a party because he's afraid I would cheat because girls have cheated on him in the past. We've gotten into several fights because I'm sensitive to anger and he can get mad easily. He's always complaining about being painted as 'the bad guy.' We've broken up for a week and gotten back together because of the positive things we missed about each other. He has a great smile and I see it all the time. In the hall way he one time walked by and we walked to class. He was so sweet. Then one day he was really making fun of me and I laughed at him. That afternoon from school, I texted him talking about the weather. When we had classes together again, I saw him and this other guy hugged me in front of his and had his arms around my hips. my crush seemed a bit uncomfortable. Days goes on and he asked me where I'm from and how much longer I have until I graduate to get my bachelors. So we had a conversation about humanity and insecurity, etc... The next day I see him in class, we hugged. He was acting so silly with his friend in front of me. We were then texting about the finals and so forth. Then the last day of class he took a selfie with me. We smiled and we sorta chatted. I told him I broke up with my boyfriend. It was then Monday which was when I saw him last and he smiled. I spotted him in the lobby area of the school. He smiled a lot. I mean a lot. then he told me he's going to go by the other chairs to wait for his friend. He's facing me from a distance and then saw me with another guy friend. He's looking at me all like "whos this guy" and so forth. I never really seen him a female friend. |

We both love each other so much and I honestly feel like he could be the one. With that being said, I have never had another serious boyfriend to compare our relationship to. Sadly, my boyfriend will be away for the summer and will arrive home after I leave for college. His summer job does not allow him much free time at all so we would only be able to text very briefly at night. Along with that, we wouldn't be able to see each other in person for 6 months. Because of all this we broke up. I have never been so sad but I know it's for the best. He has mentioned that if we ever want a long term relationship then we have to break up for now so that we don't end on bad terms over the next 6 months. I don't know whether I should move on and talk to other guys or just wait for him, who I believe is the one for me. |

Is it because of stereotypes about small ***** or is it because we're short. I'm 5'8 and that is pretty short. I'm just ranting because I got rejected by every girl I asked out for prom. Our school's prom is also the last day for us seniors. I'm not going so I guess I'll just stay home and play fortnite. |

I have heard him tell her that he needs to come across the bar over there to her. When she goes to leave, he will ask her if she is leaving and then he will hug her. I've also seen him hug her. Guys , is my boyfriend flirting with her or is he being friendly? What are your thoughts on this? The bar tender is a lady around 32. |
