I'm planning to go to LA after I visit my family in Atlanta. I don't want my parents knowing that I'm going to LA. Yes I know I need to move out of my parents house and I'm working on it. However me being the only child my parents aren't going to want me to live alone. Even though I am almost 30 (I'll be 30 in April). They have protective over me. I do work and I am going to college I'm taking a trade for Dental Assisting which is for a year. After I plan to get my own place but that will just be another issue. My dad and I were arguing this morning and he told me that I better let him know about all my plans. Or I'm not going anywhere. Is there anyway I can keep them from finding out I'm going to LA?

I'm 15 (male) and my sister is 17. I hate her so f*cking much. All she does it tell me how stupid I am, and she gives me attitude when I try to be nice. I'm surprised she managed to get a boyfriend. She calls me stupid, yet she went and got pregnant at 15. She's completely ungrateful to my parents, and they always say that she is grounded for a long time. The next day, all is well, and when I ask why my mom says "Me and dad talked about it. We don't think we should ground her." She didn't get ANY type of punishment when she got pregnant. I'm good as gold, and when I make one mistake, I'm grounded without question. Why do they worship this b*tch so much??

So they are selling these shirts at school and they are pink and have our school logo on them, they're really cute and comfy. They are selling them at school this week, -and I really, really wanted one. but I didn't have any money so I opened up my piggy bank and counted out $20 for it since I didn't have any cash. Well I went to school today and it turns out that they're selling them again tomorrow but are taking a break today. So I put the cash in my back pocket until tomorrow. Then I came today and I can't find it anywhere. It might have fell out, idk. But I still really want the shirt and the money goes to a foundation for breast cancer. I'm afraid to tell my dad that I lost the money because I lose stuff often. Should I tell him??? Or should I just let it go

I m 16 years old and have a 25-year-old brother who still lives with us who has major anger issues. He is extremely scary when angry. I don t dare get near him and the thing is I am scared of him more than anything. He has had these issues for many years now but I feel as the years have gone by, it has progressed and gotten much more intense. He will get in this mood at least once every day for no reason. He will just be sitting down watching TV or something and it comes out of nowhere. He will start making very loud noises and when my parents try to calm him down, he will scream at the top of his lungs. And I mean literally, the top of his lungs. He destroys the house. Today he broke the TV and the dresser in his room with everything flying to the floor as they were knocked over. He will swear all the time at me and my parents, and he swears at my mom s face and spits on the ground. He says he hates everyone in our house and when he gets in his "moods", he loses control and can do anything. Sometimes he leaves the house and goes on a "walk", not coming back for hours. There are holes in the walls and many broken items. It makes me depressed to witness this every day. He is also very rude to me, he calls me ugly every day and gets inappropriate. he talks about things with me he should not be discussing with a minor. He abuses me verbally and he has never had any friends or a girlfriend. Please help. my parents refuse to believe he has mental issues when he obviously does

My neices and nephews all still live at home, except mt oldest nephew he is 24 and lives with friends. My other neices and nephews are 17, 18, 19 and 20 they all live at home except they're too old to. When I was 19, 38 years ago I could afford to own my own house already. Yet whenever I ask them why they don't want their own house(not apartment/condo, but yes a house) they get defensive with me and say we never said that, we just can't afford it yet. Why are they like this? No, they do not want their own house(not an apartment not a condo, but a house) they don't want a house.

My 11 year old daughter has had a TOUGH year, tough life actually (medically) and I'm really debating whether I should send her back to school to finish off the year. 3 weeks ago she had a double kidney transplant and bladder argumentation surgery. Her doctor said I could start sending her back to school 2-4 weeks post surgery. I haven't sent her back yet however because she's still having accidents (daytime wetting) and think we really need to make correcting this the number 1 priority right now. Her teachers disagree. They think she needs to be back at school. I'm just concerned that sending her back is going to add more stress to an already stressful situation she's going through, I want her to be able to make a full recovery from all of this! Physically she's fine and recovering very well, it's just the wetting issue that's still a bother (which is why she had the bladder surgery in the first place). I personally want to pull her out of school completely and re-enroll her after the Christmas break, may have to be in a new school though... What do you think? Am I being silly?

Okay so my sister has always shown intense signs of aggression. She'd always yell and lie. When she get's mad she scream loud and throws and hits things (never people though). She is super good at drawing (she's 12 btw) and I found her drawing super disturbing images, pictures of characters brutally murdering each other, one was of a girl stepping into another girl's eye with her heel, and there was blood. She told me that it's just a character and there's nothing to it. I made her super mad a couple days ago when I told my parents she was on Omegle. She locked herself in her room and wrote in her diary. Today my mom went in her room and read her diary and she found "horrible and extremely disturbing" writing of hurting people (specifically her family and other people). My mom said it was so bad she didn't want to tell me what she said. She told me not to pester her for my own safety. I'm super concerned. We can't afford counseling right now so what do we do?

I play high school volleyball and have for 3 years. I start on varsity. My coach always says to let mistakes go, but then gets mad whenever we make them. Hes said that were going to make mistakes, but still gets mad every time. But when some people make mistakes, he lets them go and doesnt get upset. There is definitely some favoritism. When I make a mistake, he definitely gets mad and i can see it from the bench. Sometimes he'll take me out, put a sophomore in for me, then i wont get in the rest of the game. No matter how many good things i do, he still gets mad when i make mistakes, and always gets mad at me in particular. But then i see someone else do the same thing, and he says "good try, get the next one." Otherwise, it doesnt seem like he has anything personal against me. My coach has always been fairly nice and respectful to me. But in games, he gets so mad at my mistakes that are sometimes inevitable, and it makes me anxious for each game. It comes to the point where i get stressed out for games and its not fun anymore. I dont know if i will play next year. Why is this happening?

I have a job in the US, which will change my life. I live in the U.K. And was married for 7 years and have a 6 year old baby girl. The marriage didn't work out due to her arrogant behaviour. Unfortunately, I was granted only visitation although I tried for joint custody. My ex has poisoned my daughter's mind that I am a bad man. I'm 19 years old, and I wanted to move to Arizona because my friends and a good portion of my family live here. The only place for me to stay is with my aunt and uncle. But because I'm 19, I feel like I don't belong here and that I shouldn't be living with them. I feel guilty for just eating their food. When I say "family," I'm not talking about my mom and sister; they're both really nice to me. It's aunts and our grandparents I'm talking about. First thing about my grandpa, he's always making comments about something that just makes us angry, but we pretend to be fine with it. Also, we returned from visiting Indiana and went home in Illinois, but we were late wishing him a happy birthday (we've been super busy with family over in Indiana who actually CARES about us), but he never said "thank you" and he never called back to this day. Our step-grandma tries to act nice, but she always talks about us (negatively) to other family members. Our aunts are the worst. One of them, Julie, would be like my grandpa; she makes comments and thinks we're okay with it, but we're not (ex. if we were talking about something important). She acts nice and everything, but we know she isn't. Our other one, Janet, is more worse than Julie. She knows about us planning on moving to Indiana and she would message us questions like, "Are you guys still over in Indiana?" or (to my mom) "Where do you work at?" She's just trying to get information to tell to other family members here in Illinois, which will lead to them bothering us about anything personal and they might make rude comments to us. That's why when Janet asks us something, we lie to her or we don't say anything. Our Indiana family (with aunts, uncles, cousins) are all nice and are there for us. They never talk about us behind our backs or that stuff. And we've known them the longest, so we know them really well. We heard nothing negative about them. my biological father has never been there for me ever, he was abusive to me and my mom when i was little. they have since divorced and my mom has moved on to my step dad who is the greatest but father only ever remembers he has a daughter when he is in prison and shortly after he gets out but then forgets about me till he is incarcerated again. well this time he got out after 3 years and has called me 37 times. he has only been out a week. i never answer his phone calls because he always calls at the wrong time and honestly i dont want to talk to him. last time i saw him was when i was 15 at my sister wedding. im 24 now. i want to badly to tell him to leave me alone but he always leaves these voice mails about how everyone is mad at him and how he feels no one loves him anymore.... and i feel like if i told him to go away he will do something extreme..like kill himself. i have been where he is (thinking that no one loves you and that everyone is mad at you) so it breaks my heart when i think about telling him to leave me alone. i guess i am just curious about what i should do?

My sister feels scared she read where a young girl not far from us had a clown hiding under her bed. This is making her even more scared of the dark. I told her that there's no way a clown would get under her bed there's not enough room. Even she can't get under there. All this clown stuff is really scaring her. Lots of her friends have seen them already but we haven't she said a clown came up to one of her friends car and talked to her. She's really afraid of clowns. Which is why she never goes to the circus. She's even scared to go outside at night. She doesn't like going outside at night in the fall anyway unless she has to. There's something else out there now she has to be afraid of. We're leaving for Tennessee tomorrow night she wishes her aunt wouldn't drive at night because of the clowns. Last night I told my son to clean out his chest of drawers. One reason I told him to do this was because his 10 year old cousin Megan was staying with us while my sister went on a dinner thing for work. I told Max (who is 14) to take any of the clothes that didn't fit him and put them in a pile an we would take them to Goodwill. I was doing laundry an saw Megan go into Max's room, I figured he would blow up an tell her to leave like he always does, I went to the basement an put a load in and brought a load back upstairs an dumped them on my bed to sort them. I got Max's clothes togethor an took them into his room an when I walked in he was standing their only wearing a t-shirt (he was naked from the waist down) an his penis was hard an Megan was standing their staring at it! My parents think I hate them especially my dad my mom has even gone far enough as to say she's afraid I want to kill them ( I over heard this) I don't want to kill them. I'm not mean to my parents, at least I don't try to be, i don't say things to be purposely hurtful. I have bipolar disorder, I'm in depressed/ irritable moods pretty often and when I'm like this I do shut myself off because I don't want to put them in a bad mood too. I never yell at, argue with or disobey them even when I am incredibly irritable. My dad and I never spent time together when I was little so we're not close. But He does things to purposely annoy me and make me uncomfortable and when I respond with irritation he says that it's because I hate him and I'm inconsiderate about his feelings. When the truth is I don't like For him to ask graphic questions about my sex life. Sometimes he just kicks in my door and stares at me and says nothing and gets angry when I ask what he wants. My mom probably thinks I hte her because I don't share every aspect of my life with her. I'm trying to see what I'm doing wrong but I can't see anything that bad. But I still feel like I am just a terrible person because I'm hurting them with out even trying to andy dad says he's sick of my sh*t and at this point I'd just like to move far away from them and keep very little contact so I don't mess up our relationship anymore. My boyfriend and I weren't together when my daughter was born. We didn't keep in touch or anything. It was as if he didn't exsist. As a matter of fact he didn't met my daughter till she was five months old and it wasn't until she was a year and a half old that we decided to start working things out. Anyways we've been together ever since. (it's been 3 yrs) About 3 months ago we moved in together and one of our biggest issues has been his parents and I getting along. I feel like they have never liked me and I've tried getting to know them but they push themselves away. They have never gone to any of my daughters birthday parties and I always invite them. If they ever invite me to their family parties I always go so my daughter can get to know my boyfriends family but it just feels like they treat her like she's a stranger. They have a total of eight grand kids and I feel like they treat my daughter unfairly. They take all their grand kids to the fair, the park, or chuck e cheese but they never invite my daughter or ask if she can come along. I don't know what it is that I'm doing wrong or what they don't like about me but I wish they would bond with my daughter more.

Question: My Mom says when my sister or brother are bad that they are turning into our Dad (Mom's ex-husband). How do I avoid becoming my Dad?

I was to avoid ever being like my Dad as my Mom doesn't like him. So how do I avoid this when I look like him. Can I change my looks so I won't look like him?

For example two cousins have gotten married and we have been the only cousins not asked since we are 2nd rate (little known). We didn't come to family functions as kids at my parents orders much to us kids disappointment but my parents doing, not mine. Now as an adult I miss out. I have set up family activities but few come because few know me. How do I overcome this hurt. Nobody did anything wrong it is just my mother holds these grudges that chase people away from her but as a result I have missed out and suffered. How do I overcome this. My birthday is coming up. Last year I didn't invite my dad because he is an asshole and he spends $500 a month on drugs and beer and no money on me. He is a worthless douche. Im a 14 years old boy and since i was a kid, my family had a lot of problems until today. Its like an everyday hell im living in. I just can't explain everything because its just too much. My family was kicked out this house and we were brought back here by the same person. They treat us like we are nonsense. Especially my mother's side. Her family is being abused, straved to death, eaten by diseases. And then there are homeless people, nothing to eat, but i just pray every goddamn day and nothing happens. I always question God, i want to cry so hard but i know it wouldn't get me anywhere. I wanna give up but i can't because of my family. But after all these problems have been solved, what will be the point of life. Im starting to give up but im trying so hard. Should i fight this and have a good life in the future or just fly away, have a peaceful meeting with the grim reaper?
