Question: Finding my biological father? Posted: 31 Oct 2016 02:08 PM PDT So, after being alive for 15 years and not meeting my father or having actual facts of it all, my mother had revealed that the man on my birth certificate isn't my father (confusion from her cheating; that's the best moment for a birth and you have sex with two guys and just believe who the father is rather than actual paternity tests... I still love her.) By far, before this occasion the only note she had given me was they both changed their numbers and lost contact (my grandparents then said my father was locked up, but they didn't know about the actual), after this occasion she shared me his first name as that is the only part she knows since at the same time he was changing his last name for a similar biological father problem, then where he worked (and where he's from) and his age. Other than that, those are the only details. Is there any possible way we (my mother and I) could find him? |
Question: Why does my little brother lie so much? Posted: 31 Oct 2016 02:04 PM PDT He's 8 years old and a 2nd grader. He's been at his new school for only 2 days and he's already made a name for himself. On his first day he got into an altercation with another boy and he came home lying about what went on. Supposedly according to him 2nd and 3rd graders have recess together and there are no staff outside during recess. Wtf right? Well today my mom called up to the school and found out that 2nd graders have recess only with the second graders and likewise for each grade. Also there are 4 staff on the playground and 2-3 teachers as well. Today my little brother got in trouble for hitting a kindergartner. My little brother claims the kindergartner was crying from off of the top of his lungs and the teachers thought that he hit him because he was the only one by him. That statement has its positives and negatives for my little brother, right? I don't know wtf is wrong with him. He's disrespectful to all adults that aren't any kin to him and every adult says he lies A LOT. What causes me to believe it is because our uncle picked him up from school today and said the same thing about him. It has to be true when his own uncle said what other people are saying about him. This boy is stressing our mom out and he will stop at nothing. He's been like this every since he's been in school. He's even lied on me many times but him being my little brother I ignored this fact and disbelieved what people were saying about him. My little sister is worse than him. |
Question: My mom wouldn't let me do anything? Posted: 31 Oct 2016 02:02 PM PDT I just told my mom that i can go to treat or trick tonight but she said no. She thinks i'm really disrespectful but i'm a good daughter. Everybody else parents get their kids to do whatever their want at my school but except me. And my friend said your mom don't let you do anything that just sad. |

Question: Help! My brother got me pregnant? Posted: 31 Oct 2016 01:54 PM PDT My brother and I have always been really close. Ever since we were little we have done everything thing together like sleeping, bathing, and coloring. One night we were fooling around and one thing led to another. That was four weeks ago. I'm 18 and he is 19. I need to tell my parents but I don't know what to say. My brother keeps denying that it ever happened to protect his reputation. Him and I have become really distant since that night. What do I do? |
Question: Could I charge my brother with Battery? Posted: 31 Oct 2016 01:47 PM PDT Hi my name is Grant, I m 13 years old and I have a old brother who is a senior in high school. My brother is so agressive and argumenitive, He walks around our house like he s the boss. He does not contrubute to house in anyway, he expects everything to be done by someone else. He never does dishes, cleans, and he just leaves his stuff in the middle of the floor. If you ask him to move it he just goes on about how there s nowhere else to put it and that he can t put it up in his room. If you ask him to do anything he says "I have stuff to do" but then he gets right on his xbox and plays video games. He thinks he s entitled to anything and everything, he calls me stupid for having a different polictial opionion and if you debate him he always ends up throwing a punch or hurting you in some way. My brother is twice my weigh and strenth so he could really hurt if he wanted to. He will bash my head into the door, stomp on me with his boots, choke me, slam me on the ground, punch me, and man handle me. This has gone on for years and I see no end to. My mom is always working so shes never home, It s gotten so bad that he s sent me to the ER to get stitches. I ve had to call the cops multiple times but all they do is restrain my brother. My mom spoils my old brother and she never does anything to stop him. What should I do? |

Question: Am I wrong to be sad? Posted: 31 Oct 2016 01:15 PM PDT My parents never help me. My dad had his workers come over to fix up the house. They either misplaced or put my note book for school in the thrash. I have pages of notes that I need for school. They won't help me at all to look for it. I can't find it and I asked for help. They yelled at me. I'm really sad! Should I be? If you say "take responsibility" I did but my dads workers didn't. |
Question: My mom is a ***** lately? Posted: 31 Oct 2016 01:14 PM PDT I seriously cannot wait until I go away to college. My mom is always bitchy lately. All she does is complain about every thing. She complains I don't do anything when I sweep, vacuum, and dishes. She expects me to clean hers and my dads mess off the table. I explain to her why I don't because all she'll do is ***** if something is lost but yet she proceeds to be bitchy. She is always yelling at the poor dogs. What do I do to make her happy. Suggest any medication? |

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 12:58 PM PDT I recently discovered that my brother is a furry and has been going to conventions for that for years. He told me earlier today. I just don't get it. Should I support him? |
Question: Should my 18 year old have a curfew? Posted: 31 Oct 2016 12:47 PM PDT My daughter is 18, she graduated from high school, and is currently working two jobs (one at target and the second a secretary job) and taking online courses for real estate. She does not pay rent or bills but does take care of her own expenses, such as gas, cosmetics, entertainment, etc. We always fight about her going out on the weekends. Should she have a curfew, and if so what time should it be? |

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 11:43 AM PDT I was caught having sex & my parents flipped out. Their like extremely christian people so you can only imagine.. They grounded me for a month, basically banned me from seeing that boy, i have a tracker own my phone, they see all my messages, even the deleted ones, they record all my pone calls and listen to them. They see everyone i call. They know the password on all my social media and check it daily. Its funny because they don't even pay for the phone. They're psychotic. NOT. JOKING. I feel like they live in my soul. And I'm not like really young or anything I'm 17. |
Question: I made out with my brother's girlfriend. How can he forgive me? Posted: 31 Oct 2016 11:28 AM PDT I always did, but it got worse. The other night, she was here, my brother was asleep, she came to watch TV with me, we talked for a while and were drinking some wine (I know it's no excuse). Then we started making out and were about to have sex when she stopped everything. She was right, I wasn't thinking, I was doing the worst thing possible to my own brother. Anyway, she couldn't keep it in so she told him everything. He broke up with her and gave me a black eye (I didn't fight back, our mother got in the way). He is moving out and he says the only reason he doesn't kill me is because of our parents, but I'm dead to him. I'm feeling awful, my whole family is broken because I did a stupid thing. Is there anyway he can forgive me for this? Can I convince him to stay and not move out? |
Question: Why are they like this? Posted: 31 Oct 2016 11:17 AM PDT I don't see how it is my fault. My name is Kevin, I am 53. I have wanted my kids gone for 15 years, my son is 17 and my daughter is 18. I have been distancing myself from them for 10 years. I have allowed them to have very minimal contact with anyone from outside as I have had them in online schooling for 10 years. These kids are spolied rotten, they claim it is my job to take them to work if they apply to applications but no where in the law does it say that. We live off of a highway, my son and daughter are unable to walk as there are cars everywhere and no sidewalks or areas to walk on the side of the highway on. I did not teach my son and daughter how to drive at 15 and 16, and I am sure not going to start now. I have taken them before to apply for jobs, but no one hires them as they have no learners permit, no license and no car. They also have no money since they have never found a job yet because of this. Why do they claim it is "my" job to teach them to drive or drive them if they find a job? No where in the law does it say it is my job. It only says you have to feed and shelter them. I want to kick them out, or I would like for them to sneak out and never come back. I have wanted them gone for 15 years, my wife is on my side as I have ADHD as well as bipolar. I stopped celebrating my son and daughters birthdays when they were 8 and 9 year olds yet they're still spolied, even after they know I would and do beat them every time that they cry, laugh or speak to me. Update: I have not allowed them to be around any outside person for 10 years, so I do not see why they are still entitled worthless brats. I don't want to help them, I shouldn't have to help |

Question: Was I a psychopath as a child? Posted: 31 Oct 2016 09:56 AM PDT I'm now 19, so it's been awhile since these incidents. However recently I was thinking about some of the terrible things I did as a child that I find unimaginable today. When I was a little girl, around 4/5-ish I remember going over to my babysitters house. She would watch me and a few other children at the time. One of them was a newborn-ish baby. My babysitter wasn't the best, she was always sleeping on the couch in the living room. So I would often take the baby boy to her room. She had a bed that was high off the ground, so I remember purposefully setting the baby on the edge of the bed and giving him a slight push so he would fall off the high bed onto the floor. He would of course cry but I found it funny and "enjoyable" so I would do it repeatedly until I got bored. Then I remember sticking his face under the bathroom sink faucet and turning it on, holding him under the faucet for short periods of time. Eventually the babysitter would wake up and come get the baby from me and another girl I would play with. Now that I think back my babysitter had to have been on drugs to sleep through the crying of the baby. Another thing is I would dream about hurting babies in my dream. I would stab my baby dolls, I would beat them, I did a lot of disturbing things to them. I also had voices in my head that would tell me to do these things to babies, and smaller children. Now I'm older and I LOVE babies! It makes me sad to think about my past. What was wrong w/ me? |
Posted: 31 Oct 2016 09:53 AM PDT What do I do to get my parents to stop this. They are bitter and get mad when I see family. I am an adult but their bitterness still costs me some time with loved ones (like people don't want to be around my parents). My parents are very unfaithful to their families but expect me to be loyal to them. How do I get to know family more and how do I break down the roadblocks my parents put in the way? For example they schedule their holidays right smack in the middle of the extended family and the extended family tells me to go be with my folks and see them at a later time. I miss out because of my parents, my mother more then my Dad. What do I do? |
Question: I have a bully for parents, how do I get away? Posted: 31 Oct 2016 09:51 AM PDT I am 16 |
Posted: 31 Oct 2016 09:38 AM PDT I am 20 years old, I live with my mother and older sister at the same house owned by my mother (my parents are divorced. About 3 years ago my sister was volunteering at an "abandoned animal shelter" and she brought home a young puppy. At first it was just so the puppy could be adopted and live with a family instead of living his first months at the animal shelter. But then the people who were supposed to adopt the puppy suddenly couldn't adopt it. My sister was not able to leave the puppy alone in the shelter and risk him not being adopted (since there were many beautiful purebred puppies at the shelter and this specific puppy is a not so good looking hybrid). She decided to adopt the puppy as her own. Since she is living with me and my mother she had to ask a permission of course. My mother had no problem with that as long as my sister will take care of the dog. But I didn't want the dog to live with us (for many non-health related reasons). So I agreed on one condition: I don't want any relation to the dog and to not hold any responsibility towards it whatsoever. My sister agreed but it was obvious for me that this condition will soon be forgotten. |
Question: My mother is a liar and a sociopath, what makes someone this evil? Posted: 31 Oct 2016 09:33 AM PDT Her son, my brother is even more evil though some of his was passed down from her Her upbringing was good so it is not that, what else might have? School could that have been what made her evil? A devil like spirit? |
Posted: 31 Oct 2016 09:30 AM PDT I go to university. I made a plan for this semester but then my father got sick and i'm finding it difficult to deal with everything. I take care of him a lot. I'm failing a module i'm taking at the uni, so i have to catch up with a lot for next semester. There are days i don't want to be at home at all. But then i feel guilty because i love my dad. I have nobody to talk to about these things. I need help. |
Question: How can I comfort my sister ? Posted: 31 Oct 2016 09:28 AM PDT My sister and her husband are having their first baby in June. She's been feeling sick today she had a bowl of chips for lunch and some cookies she got sick on them. She thought she was hungry now she's not. She hopes to feel better me her and her husband are going trick or treating tonight. She's got a dentist appointment this afternoon. She doesn't really have much time to rest. She's also been freaking out and crying a lot. She said shes really scared. Even crying so much sometimes makes her sick. Her back has been really hurting. She wants me to lay down in bed with her. How can I help her feel better ? |
Question: I'm starting to despise my grandmother? Posted: 31 Oct 2016 09:06 AM PDT She cooks and cleans and does things around the house which me and my family appreciate but she takes things without asking. Sometimes we think she steals money from us too. She uses us for a place to stay to see her boyfriend on weekends even though he is abusive. She also is very cruel to dogs in general and hates my dogs for no reason. Won't pet them or anything she is disgusted by them and is very hateful and vengeful. She does and says passive aggressive things but we catch on and she thinks we are stupid. She has no reason to hate us yet she does. Doesn't even speak to us at all. Literally awkward silence everyday. I think its because she thinks we have lots of money which we dont and wants us to take care of her daughter (my aunt) who is a drug addict. My parents will never say anything to her like ever even though they want her out. Idk what to do. Need advice. |
Question: My sister keeps taking my things whqy should i do? Posted: 31 Oct 2016 09:05 AM PDT Look it,ive told my parents about this and asked her to fking stop and its really pissing me off because i didn't do anything for her to steal from me.I was thinking about taking all if her crap and burn that sh!t then stump her fcking face in because i dont like her at all now. What should i do? |
Question: My YOUNGER AND OLDER COUSINS/ SIBLINGS GET AWAY WITH ANYTHING!? Posted: 31 Oct 2016 09:04 AM PDT Okay, so I'm 15 and my younger sister is 13. She GETS AWAY WITH EVERY LITTLE ******* THING. I know that all the answers will say "Oh, well it's just cause she's younger" and before you say that it's not. At my grandparents house when we visit, I am hated by my grandmother. I have older cousins that get away with everything and younger siblings that do as well. Like if my sister stomps on my bare foot with tennis shoes, and I tell her to stop, my grandmother would tell me to leave her alone rather than telling her to stop. And she KNOWS whenever they do something wrong but I just get yelled at for it. Makes no sense at all any treatments guys? I wouldn't care so much if I didn't he yelled at for what THEY DO! |
Question: Why are siblings not the same Skin color? Posted: 31 Oct 2016 09:03 AM PDT Might sound like a dumb question but... why are full blood siblings diffrent colors well not all but a few. For example Im really white/pale looking and my brother is kind of yellow/golden looking. Or in pther situations the one siblin may be white and the other kind of dark. Why is that |

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 08:48 AM PDT Every year I fear an environmental situation where something happens that reminds me of the painful days when my parents divorce wrecked my Christmas as a kid, mainly a teen. My mother did all in her power to keep us from our Dad and I just figured she was right to keep us away and didn't stand up for my right to see my Dad. Meanwhile my Dad didn't take her to court for visitation like he should have. So now I am an adult and saw my Dad all through his later years (he is deceased now) and still see my half-siblings (from his 2nd marriage) and step-mother. However, I have this fear that I will miss them at Christmas (a visit won't work out) and I will re-experience that pain of only feeling connected to one side of the family (that happened when my parents divorced). So I hope this all makes sense and this Christmas how do I not let this trauma be triggered? It was triggered the one year I did not see my step-siblings (only saw my step-mother). I felt like it was the old days of only having a mother. Yet, I can't impose on people and only will visit if convenient for them. |

Question: I m a failure and disappointment to life and my family? Posted: 31 Oct 2016 08:38 AM PDT Last year in grade 8, I constantly got in trouble and my grades were horrible. Starting out as a freshman in high school, my grades were really good and I was actually doing pretty good. Until Thursday came up, the day I got suspended for five days. I wanted to be funny so I put my hands over the teachers head as a joke to make kids in the laugh class (I m a ******* idiot I know), and the teacher caught me, so she sent me down to the office and I got suspended for five days and she moved me out of her class. I m currently still on suspension, but when I return I m going to have a new Social Studies teacher. Everybody in my school probably looks at me as ******* retarded now. Everybody in my family is successful, my two sisters are in college becoming doctors, my mom is a nurse and my dad is a doctor? What am I? A ******* clown and a disappointment. I m grounded up until Friday for the poor actions I ve made. I don t wanna live life anymore, I don t have a purpose to life. I don t see a future for myself. I m a big ******* joke and so is my life. I have no purpose in my life. I m a disappointment and a failure to everything. |

Posted: 31 Oct 2016 08:16 AM PDT My son will NOT have a girl friend at school when he is only 14 years old an I have not had a boy friend (that didn't turn out to be a fakor) since my asshole ex husbend left me in 2001! That is NOT acceptable! I am a GREAT catch, beautiful women with a good job, large breasts, great cook, great in bed (I swallow an do anal) an I can't get a local man interested in me what so ever. My idiot son is 14, was born with a clefte pallate an slight mental retardation, he has big ears an he is so backward it's not even funny, he is obsessed with poop an toots, is a poor student an is lazy an is just a all-around looser. Their is NO WAY he is gonna find some one before I do. Parents, how would you deal with this? Should I just ground him until this girl is no longer his girl friend? I have set here this smorning an wept an wept an wept. |
Question: My mother is getting married again? Posted: 31 Oct 2016 08:07 AM PDT I mean for god's sake. She's 60! Father will be rolling in his grave now.... With laughter! She just want to make a joke out of our family. Doesn't she? And to top this, she send each one of us a ''wedding invitation''!!! Like **** we are going. Nobody wants to see his mother playing the clown. |
Question: I'm scared of life the future? Posted: 31 Oct 2016 08:03 AM PDT I am a 21 year old female all I do is sit in my room unless I go somewhere with my mom and we are not that close but I only go with just to get out of the house. I am trying to get my life together but I'm afraid if something happens like she dies then I will have to live with my older brother he drives me CRAZY I live with him and my mom now but they both drive me crazy sometimes they even give me suicidal thoughts I won't say what goes on because the story will just be longer for 3 years I have been in this position I can't even drive because a car crash ruined that for me or I would have gotten it earlier I was so close of being gone plenty of times how can I keep going? |
Question: Should I buy Christmas Presents for my adult half-siblings? Posted: 31 Oct 2016 07:13 AM PDT I'm 26 years old and my half brother is in his late 40s and my half sister is around 45. Both are married and have children. Up until a year ago, I was still a student and didn't worry about getting presents for them because my mom did and signed my name and sometimes I helped pick things out for all of the family members. Now that I'm more of an independent adult I wonder if I should begin buying presents for my siblings and their families. However, I don't make much money and I'm not sure what I'd get all of them. I'd have to ship it because they all live far away and I haven't spoken to my brother for a little over a year, so it feels weird to buy something. What are your suggestions and opinions? |
Question: Family and relationships? How do I get my father to stop Joking.? Posted: 31 Oct 2016 06:13 AM PDT I had a 21st birthday throughout the whole party he joke about everything. One of my mom friend was a women and my father got mad because I want a drink like a cocktail or vodka that was not too heavy. My mom friend said why are yelling that she can't drink. He said most kids would be begging for one. She said she 21 it her choice. Then my dad said why you get a booty tuck. Then that when she decided to Leave when she left she told everyone bye. My father still was yelling out stuff when she left and after. I did not like it. I did not even get a drink because of a argument. |

Question: I am scared my father is possessed by the spirit of Halloween, what do I do? Posted: 31 Oct 2016 04:51 AM PDT He woke me up this morning with a mask on, it was some blend of Clinton and Trump. I am scared he is possessed by the spirit of Halloween and I am supposed to get in the car with him for lunch today, what do I do? My school is closed because of a water main break (I think the spirits did it). |
Question: Ive got trouble with my in-laws and even my husband is angry with them? Posted: 31 Oct 2016 04:38 AM PDT Ok so my husbands parents have been planning on visiting us at the end of the year for our little girls birthday. But they have never given us a set date until today. They text saying "we are coming this particular day" they didnt actually ask, just told us. However my aging grandparents contacted us a month ago saying "hey can we stay for a week for bubs bday? " of course having nothing on we said yes. Now my inlaws want to visit a couple of days before my grands leave which for many reasons wont work. We text them saying "hey weve got people staying that week, can u come before or after? They got mad we weren't going with their plans and now wont come because every other week in 2016 is either to o close to his mums bday or too close to xmas and besides and i quote "you cant do anything with them at that age (1yr) and she wont know who we are anyway so it doeant matter" Hubby is upset and bub hasnt seen the them in 9 months, but my grands are to old to handle others visiting, changing plans set in concrete for a month or even going out in the afternoon (when in-laws would visit) so having in-laws visit on that day can't work. any ideas on dealing with this without conflict? |
Posted: 31 Oct 2016 04:10 AM PDT For example, I wanted to go somewhere for Thanksgiving this weekend and my mother flipped at the thought and said "what if this is our last year" but Christmas is 4 weeks later. They have brunch every Sunday with all five kids and the grandkids. When I missed it one week they were both pissed and sending angry texts like I was 16 and missed curfew (I am 38). Lastly, whenever I am not at something my mother accuses me of seeing her sister (she is estranged from her sister but I stay in touch with her which my mother hates though I try to make it discreet). Yet only once have I missed something due to the aunt and her children. So how do I cut the cord from controlling parents when I am well into adulthood? My mother's parents were the same way so she is doing what she learned. My Dad I guess does it for my mother. I should add none of us were allowed to go away to college when we were that age, our mother said it was unsafe. We all had to go near home to college and live at home. |
Posted: 31 Oct 2016 04:05 AM PDT My Dad denies this. Now she won't let me go see him for Christmas until January |
Question: My life sucks right now? Posted: 31 Oct 2016 03:54 AM PDT My life sucks in nearly all aspects. I am an asian freshman guy in high school, let's take a look Socially: No friends except for three at my school, I have some good friends outside of school but they are far away so I rarely see them. Least of my worries Academically: Because I'm asian B's are terrible. I got 4 B's and 1 A on my latest report card and my parents haven't let it go yet(it's been two weeks) A bit higher up on my list of worries, I know I need good grades to get accepted somewhere good Sports: I suck. Period. Recently my team took part in an all-boys 150 people race. Guess which place I got? 148th/150. 30.08 minutes for 3 miles, there is like a 10 minutes gap between me and the 120th racer. Not high up on my list of worries, but I still need to get better. It looks bad socially and in applications. Parents: This is the absolute worst. I prefer being any where but home when my parents are around, especially my mom. They are nice people and don't starve me or anything, but they are the most vicious beings on the planet when it comes to life. My mom constantly finds something to yell at me about. She constantly compares me to others, saying how much better they are and she thinks of me as an embarrassment. She also believes I am not fit for top-tier schools like Harvard and MIT(I know I'm not) I am really starting to hate life. All I like and I am good at are video games. That's basically what I live for. I'm becoming depressed. I need help please. |
Posted: 31 Oct 2016 03:46 AM PDT They were NOT bad parents, they just dumped their problems on me and got me involved in adult problems. Now I have bad anxiety because of them. How do I get over this? I am in therapy, what else? Like I say they were not bad, just one of them (my mother) got mad at people and sucked me into it and my Dad backed her 100 percent of the time. So I have anxiety because of them. Also they dont understand anxiety as they don't have that feeling of anxiety, never have. |

Question: Should I move out? Is the house actually that awful or is it just me? Posted: 31 Oct 2016 01:14 AM PDT I ended up with nowhere to live. But my boyfriend s dad offered a room in his house, but i have to stay in a different room than my boyfriend. (We re only 18) It s been 2 months and I want to move out. I m required to take care of his dogs. One is the worst I ve ever met. He s simply ignored so he misbehaves and isn t punished because my boyfriend s dad says he s too old for that. He always barks at everything, he climbs on and rips up the furniture, he s got so much fur that he literally leaves clumps around the house- and my boyfriend s dad won t clean any of it up. This dog tears up clothes and chews on shoes. Knocks the garbage over and tears it up. When you take him outside to go to the bathroom he tries to run away and pretends he can t hear you screaming his name, and when you finally get him back inside he ll **** on the floor. Twice. There s a cat too, lately he s been knocking the bathroom garbage over and dragging tampons all over the floor. Most of the food in the fridge is expired so I have to stock everything myself, then other people eat it. Longer drive to work. The house is gross. I try to clean but it doesn t seem to help. There s so much more. But tonight scratching noises kept waking me up. I saw a mouse climbing through the vent into my room. I m too scared to stay in my room. The only reason I m staying in this house is for my boyfriend, to make him happy and make our busy schedules work or I d never see him. Is it worth all this for my boyfriend? |
Question: Stealing Pokemon cards? Posted: 31 Oct 2016 01:13 AM PDT An uncle of mine decided to buy my little cousin a Pokemon charizard box. When my cousin got the box it had a smaller package on the front snucked on the side hidden under the box cover. It was pretty unnoticeable, but I saw it and questioned my uncle and asked if he did that on purpose he said "no" and he didn't even noticed it either. He was gonna take it back but my cousin had already opened it, see we just left it as is. Should we still try and see if we could take it back? And I'm curious on how it got passed the alarms? |
Question: My brother treats my like crap? Posted: 31 Oct 2016 12:39 AM PDT My brother treats me like crap. He s 18 and I m 15 and he s a poor excuse of a brother. I genuinely can t remember the last time we ve had a proper conversation, in fact, I don t think we ve ever had one. He completely ignores me and the only time he speaks to me is when he needs something, and I always give in because that s the kind of person I am and truthfully I m a better person than he is. He s arrogant and I m always doing something wrong. For something as little as the internet, if I lag him he ll barge into my room and scream at me to get off, and then make fun of my weight. He always has something negative to say about me. My mum has tried so hard to get him to snap out of it, but he never learns. Talking it out with him will never work, he ll just get frustrated and yell at me. He always makes me feel like the worst version of myself, and like he s embarrassed that I m his sister. I could be having the best day and he all say something and then I m left in tears. He won t be moving out anytime soon because he still doesn t have a job so he ll still be living with us until I m his age probably. I just don t know what to do anymore, I hate living with him and I can t wait until he leaves. What do I do? |
Question: My partner is questioning our relationship because of his father? Posted: 31 Oct 2016 12:31 AM PDT Hello. I am a 27 year old male who is in a bit of a predicament that I need advice on. I have been in a homosexual relationship for the past 8 years, with my 23 year old partner. Neither of our families have necessarily been accepting to the ideas of homosexuality; my partner's parents disowning him and my family unaware that I am even homosexual. Our relationship has been wonderful, until two months ago when my partner's father decided he wanted to be a part in his sons life. My partner isn't someone who is confident in himself and with his father's decision to come and visit us for three weeks, things have been extremely difficult. His father is not accepting of our relationship as he originally put on and has threatened me behind my partners back. Telling me that he would turn me in for statutory rape because of the age his son was when we got together. Threatening to kill me for turning his son homosexual. Even threatening to turn me in because I was 'brain washing his son and holding him prisoner'. He has been criticizing my partner as well; making him believe that he is a failure, that he shouldn't be alive because he is homosexual. He has brought my partner to tears and caused a physical fight between the two of them and because of it my partner is questioning our relationship. I want to kick his father out of his life, but it is not my place to take action. I need advice. How do I calm my partner and what I can do to shut his father up? Thank you for the advice. |

Question: HOW do you teach appreciation? Posted: 31 Oct 2016 12:13 AM PDT I thought we did everything right. We taught conservation, we all volunteered, donated, tithed, taught consequences, taking responsibility, etc. Yet, here at 18, she acts completely entitled, as if we owe her something! Is this sometimes a growth phase? If not, I just don't understand. |
