Question: Is it legal to marry my brother-in-law? Posted: 25 Oct 2016 09:36 PM PDT Okay, so my little brother recently married his boyfriend of 4 years. And it just so happens that my boyfriend of 5 years is the brother of my little brother's husband. (Confusing, isn't it?) I'm planning on proposing soon, and I want to make sure that it's like, legal and everything. I would have proposed before my little bro, but I had to wait for the US to get it's **** together and make same-sex marriage legal everywhere. But it's not like, illegal or anything, right? |

Question: What causes this guy to do this? Posted: 25 Oct 2016 08:27 PM PDT He said he gets his wife all hot in bed and then has her walk out in front of her adult son in transparent nighties and she acts innocent like she is checking on laundry while adult son is watching her. Question: Should I leave my boyfriend? Posted: 25 Oct 2016 08:23 PM PDT I have two children with him and we have been together 10+ years. He hasn t done anything terribly wrong but I feel we have just grown apart. In the 10 years we ve been together he has probably only been around my family like 10 times. He never wants to go over there for holidays or anything. We re also very opposite, I like to be adventurous by trying scuba diving, roller coasters etc. but he doesn t like any of that stuff. What should I do? |
Question: Why won't he marry me? Posted: 25 Oct 2016 07:48 PM PDT My boyfriend and I have been together for 4 years. We've lived together pretty much the whole time.. we moved in together after only a few months.. we have a 7 month old daughter together. I've mentioned getting married several times... I don't constantly talk about it or beg him to marry me... I just bring it up from time to time... He always just asks why I want to get married. I don't understand why he's so against it and he doesn't really like to talk about it. I feel like he's just waiting for something better and I'm just good enough for now.. |

Question: My girlfriend hits me? Posted: 25 Oct 2016 06:46 PM PDT I deal with depression I always have. As a kid I was a nerd so never really connected with anyone especially while being a person color. My girl hits me but I love her I don't want to leave because she's the only person who's ever showed me love. But at the same time I feel like I don't deserve love I don't think I'm worth it. She's the only attractive woman to take interest in me she says I'm sweet and cute and funny. Only her and I know she hits me. I did nothing I just made a mistake while cooking. I said I was sorry and offered to order something if she didn't want it but she hit me. Idk what to do I'm scared I have nobody I'm 18 she's 25. I gave her my virginity she knows all my secrets and emotions and knows I'm depressed and I'm scared. I have to get off now because I live with her and she's coming out of the shower to our bedroom |

Question: Should I have not looked at my sister's husband this way? Posted: 25 Oct 2016 05:44 PM PDT Should I feel terrible,,,and was I wrong for having noticed that my Sister's Husband had a bulge (arousal?) in his sweatpants after giving my seven year old niece Nicole a spanking? I am not saying he found pleasure or enjoyed spanking Nicole but it was not like a normal spanking. Nicole once she gets home from school always takes her skirt off and does her homework or such in her sweater and underpants. She looks cute but is not allowed to be in her underpants with guests around. Nicole finds her more dressy briefs comfortable to wear cause they are thin nylon. I don't want to describe it more then necessary.. I seen my niece laying across Dad's lap in her sweater and white brief getting a good spanking. Good as in not with hard spanks but lasting a few minutes. When Greg went to put the chair back that he sat on to give the spanking I then noticed he had a bulge or slight erection. I can't think of any other reason that would cause this other then Was I a poor sister for looking at her husband private area when he was just being a good Dad? |

Posted: 25 Oct 2016 05:04 PM PDT I've been in therapy for almost 2 and a half years now and it has helped tremendously. I am even married now and thank God everyday. But sometimes there are days I feel like why did I go through all that and the guilt associated with going through that even though it wasn't my fault. Any advice on how to leave that baggage in the past and not blame myself for it. And yes I know time heals all wounds but sometimes I wish there was an easier way to heal completely. |
Question: I found out my husband has been visiting his former mistress's FB!!? Posted: 25 Oct 2016 04:33 PM PDT Does trying to find out about her - I saw his activity log - mean he still wants her? They had an on and off affair for years I just found out about. Have been apart for 2 years but because he got fired from his job and doing temp work now, I think he's embarrassed so doesn't want to see her until he gets a permanent job. Am I right to be mad that he's checking her out again? ( He doesn't know that I know. Please comment only on his level of interest or if this means wanting another affair.) |

Question: I have a boyfriend but attracted to another man!? Posted: 25 Oct 2016 04:21 PM PDT I've been with my boyfriend for 9 years. We have 3 kids together. We are both in our mid 20's. I love him so much, but sadly he has abandoned our relationship. I feel single most of the time. We barely have any contact together physically or emotionally. I try my best but he never meets me half way. Regardless of all this I know he loves me. He's a great father and provides for us. He works hard. I feel like the kids and his future are a priority but I'm excluded out of it. He started working temporary a few months ago in a different state and comes home a few times a month He has told me multiple of times that we should take a break. Well 2 weeks ago I met this guy at the gym. He is extremely attractive and he approached me and asked me for my number. I gave it to him. I don't know why but there was something about him the way he spoke that I liked. We've been texting non stop these last 2 weeks. And he seems like he has a great head on his shoulders. I have not flirted with him in anyway although he does a lot of it. this man asked me to go out to dinner with him. Part of me want to but the other doesn't. I love my boyfriend and wouldn't want to leave him. I am not going to cheat on my boyfriend. I just want to test the waters. Am I wrong for that ? I feel terrible about this. Even tho I havent cheated on him and don't plan to. I don't know what to do. |
Question: Do good looking rich men care if their wife leaves them? Posted: 25 Oct 2016 04:18 PM PDT Other than caring about potential financial loss, would you care if you are the type that could have any woman they want. Or at least get women easily. |

Question: How to tell your wife that you hate her family? Posted: 25 Oct 2016 04:06 PM PDT I hate them all. An hour with them feels like an eternity. Once I see their faces, my day is ruined. And when they open their damn mouths, i start thinking of commiting suicide. She keeps dragging me to her family events. And i'd rather spend the weekend at Guantanamo than spend it with them. How to tell her all this, but make it sound a little bit softer? |
Question: Is it a bad sign I can't make my husband mad? Posted: 25 Oct 2016 04:01 PM PDT We are having some enormous problems. He pulled some stuff on me. He was happy, his conscious didn't bother him. Finally he just said "whats going to make you happy?" Nothing in this case is going to make up for it so I told him I wanted a post-nup. It didn't phase him at all and he is actually supportive. I have no power in our lives and now I don't even have the power to get under his skin. I know you will judge me but that is how bad and powerless m my life is right now. Is it a bad sign I can't even make my husband mad? |
Question: Am I wrong for being upset with my husband? Posted: 25 Oct 2016 03:27 PM PDT I m a SAHM of 3 kids. He s the only one who works. He works 12 hour days 7 days straight, then he s off for 7 days. My biggest issues with him is money. I m not on his bank account. My credit was messed up the last time we tried to add me to the account and that was 5 years ago. Every time I ask him if he ll add me, he says we ll go, but then never do or he says they still won t be able to add me because of my credit. I have no access to his money. I don t know what he makes, I don t know what is in the bank. I never saw the taxes last year, and he filed them without me, just had me sign the papers. I recently asked him if we could buy a treadmill because I ve been trying to walk every day and its hard on the days when the kids are off or the weather is bad. He suggested we sell my AR15 that he had bought me for Christmas and we could use some of the money to buy one. Sure. He sold it, for $200 more than he paid for it. He got a little over $700. That was 2 months ago and every time I ask him about the treadmill he rolls his eyes and says that its still nice outside and I don t need one. He also took over payments for a RAZR that his brother had. When he told me he was going to, I said that it was his money and if that s what he wanted, that was fine. Since he s had it he has told me that I m not allowed to purchase certain things for the kids, told me that I needed to find a way to pay for our sons field trip, and we re a few months behind on our kids health insurance. |
Question: Why does he always tell me what trips he is going on for work? Posted: 25 Oct 2016 02:55 PM PDT I'm seeing this guy and I'm going with the flow. I noticed he always seems to tell me about his work and business trips he is going on in future. He's going to somewhere in 4 weeks for one day, and than the other night he told me is going to the mountains for a day for work. I don't ask him about this, but he voluntarily offers me this information.. in fact he opens up a lot to me - about his life, his fears, his dreams, everything. Is this something to be concerned about? |

Question: Would I be wrong for cutting financial ties to my daughter after she gets married? Posted: 25 Oct 2016 02:43 PM PDT So my daughter is still in college (sophomore),pregnant and wants to get married........sigh. For the better part of her teen years we warned her about this path but here we are. No, they cant afford to have a child. I pay her car note, car insurance and she is still on my healthcare plan. I was ok with this since she seemed to be headed in the right direction but now I dont know. Healthcare aside If you cant afford your car payment and ins how can you afford a child? Now, I feel if you want to be a big girl you should except EVERYTHING that comes with it. Her and "fiance" should take full responsibility for their decisions. But I know they cant afford it and i talked to her about reconsidering her position on having an abortion because from a financial, and mental, stand point they are definitely not ready. She works part time at a clothing store and he delivers furniture. I truly feel broke people should not have children and my daughter is no exception. I dont know, what do you say? |

Question: Husband kicked my car....red flag? Posted: 25 Oct 2016 12:39 PM PDT Earlier today, my husband and I were arguing in the parking lot. When he got in my face I threw something at him, and then he proceeded to kick my car HARD two times. He sometimes does things like this when he is angry and loses his temper. Is his behavior a sign that he may be abusive later on? I know people that have been in those types of relationships so I'm always looking for signs. I threw something SMALL at him, and only as a reaction to his behavior which I felt was inappropriate. Yes it was wrong to throw something, but it was also wrong for him to react so aggressively to something so little that didn't even hurt him! |
Question: Would you stay or go back? Posted: 25 Oct 2016 11:41 AM PDT I am from India and have been in the US for 16 years and came to US after I got married. The first 8 years was great. I studied, had a great job and had a lot of freedom and fun with husband and friends. After I Had my son I started feeling a huge vacuum of family and support system. it got better as my son grew up, but my pangs to go back home has been very intense and getting deeper every year. however, my son is now 10, and India is a very different country and logistics. He has been to India every year and although enjoys with cousins there, US is his home. But we have no family here and a HUGE family set up there. I miss India now so much I feel I am getting anxious and depressed. Not sure what to do. My husband is neutral and he said he will be ok both ways, but I know worries about going back to India and it's chaos. What should I do? Not sure my son will adjust there or what is the right path. |
Question: Wife taking a lot of distance all of a sudden? Posted: 25 Oct 2016 10:54 AM PDT We've been married for 5 by now, and the last 2.5 of it was long distance because of our jobs and future plans. We have had little to no trouble during these times but the past 2 months are kinda strange. Though we have had our fair share of fighting, and big fights we had, oh damn! Household appliances have been thrown etc. Anyway, the past 2 months it has been going down hill rather rapidly. 2 months ago I got a promotion and it sucked up all my time and energy. I spent more time on my job than with her on Skype. She would (like she is the one always) message me in the morning and evening, to say goodmorning or goodnight. But after a month she started complaining that I wasn't there for her, that she needed attention, but like always I would laugh about it and say that I understand, but nothing really changed. Sometimes I would even ignore it completely and joke about something else. Eventually she told me she took distance, and I didn't take it serious enough. This went on for a week or two, when eventually she told me that she almost dated a guy but couldn't go through with it and the reason for her telling me this was so that I could fix the problem -- she needed attention she said, and now! Question: Did I over reacted and what should I say? Posted: 25 Oct 2016 10:27 AM PDT 5 years ago my wife and I separated for 2 years. After the two years we got back together. I had a few girls that I hung with. And obviously she did too. But the dude she went out with is in her group of friends from back when her single days. Well her relationship with that dude ended. Since we got back together. We have attended party and gatherings where he has been there too. I shoked hands with everyone and his too.never have I engage in a conversation. During this time 5years my wife never said hi or bye to the dude. Well this past weekend her best friend and her husband were out in the front patio talking to the dude. My wife and I and the kids said bye and i hand shaked all 3. And my wife hand shaked all 3 including that dude. Once in the car I told to not ever do that again! Question: Could you forgive a one night stand if your wife/husband confessed? Posted: 25 Oct 2016 09:50 AM PDT My wife and I have been married 10 years. Last night she went out with friends to a bar to celebrate her friend's birthday. She came home at 7am distraught. SHe was crying hard. She said that she had a lot to drink last night and woke up in a hotel room with a guy next to her and her friend passed out on the floor. She doesn't remember much about the night but said she remember getting undressed but that is about it. She feels so bad and admitted it right away. I feel like **** and she feels like ****. She was a wonderful wife. She was always attentive, sex is great and was always thinking and doing things for me. So this is out of character for her and I don't want to excuse her actions but I do think if she wasn't drunk she wouldn't have done it. I am going to drive her to the hospital and see if she has anything in her system that could contribute to her not being able to give consent. She says she only remembers getting undressed but not to anything else. I'm not cheating on my wife for revenge. |
Question: How can I keep my husband? Posted: 25 Oct 2016 09:43 AM PDT If my husband divorces me then I will go to jail for what I will do to him. I'm not married but I am talking about the person that I will someday marry. I'm a blue eyed brunette too. |

Question: Is my husband ready to cheat again? Posted: 25 Oct 2016 09:29 AM PDT My husband had an on and off affair with a girl he used to work with, for 6 years. I found out but never confronted him. I still keep track of his emails/texts and he has no idea, but he has not been seeing anyone. They were very involved and always breaking up and getting back together. My husband was a director in her field, and tried three times to hire her, from what I could tell. She always said no. Then they stopped contacting each other, I thought it was over. Two years ago, my husband got fired from that director job, where they met. He has been doing "consulting" ever since, which he is very sensitive about. I checked his activity log on FB and he has gone to HR profile multiple times. She contacted him and others in the same email I read, asking for referrals to part-time jobs since she wanted fewer hours. He was only doing consulting and didn't write back. From what I saw on her FB, the girl is now a stay at home mom after quitting her job. He keeps checking up on her. Because of his sudden interest, I am now worried that he is only waiting for a permanent, high status position like he had to get back in touch with her. It breaks my heart to think that it's only his embarrassment over his career keeping him away! Does checking her every move on FB mean he's just bidding his time? I can't take their affair again. Am I right to be concerned? |

Posted: 25 Oct 2016 07:20 AM PDT My wife sold Avon for most of the year in 2014. Since our son was born in 2014, she hasn't really gone back to being a rep, despite requests from a couple of her former customers. Life has been non-stop, so she really hasn't had time to even think about it. Now there's at least 10 of her former clients begging for brochures. Several weeks ago, she requested some books from a family friend who currently sells Avon. It's now been 6 weeks in total from the time she gave us the books and the customers my wife referred are STILL waiting for their orders. My wife is more than upset, so much so that she has re-joined Avon again and submitted her own order with them in order to fulfill the orders. Personally, I think she made a mistake rejoining. It didn't work out the first time, and now this decision will impact her getting her management license to move on in her regular job. And if she's having a problem with the way our friend is running her business, that's between them. The customers are putting my wife in the middle because she referred them, but if our friend can't handle the extra clients then she really should've said something, not accepted them. She is still able to return the starter kit and products she's already ordered. She has up to 30 days to do from the day she rejoined, but how can I make her see that restarting her "business" is only going to add more stress and frustrations? Anonymous, I will assume that your the one who advised she needed to make it right by her former clients? She said she got advice somewhere, but didn't specify where. Ok, it was probably her decision to rejoin to make it right as it were, but if she was just patient a few more days, she wouldn't have had to do. And the management license is the CAM license that is required for a property manager position where we live. So yea, I'm a little concerned she's trying on more than she can handle. |

Not long after that, I moved to another city where I lived for 20+ years and met and married my husband. We now live in the city where the former housemate still lives. He and I reconnected via social media not long before I moved back and since we have lived here, I have had him over for supper several times (with my husband). Yesterday, via e-mail, he invited me to attend a party his friends are having. He didn't say "You and your husband," he just said "you." I'd like to go this party but I don't want to hurt my husband's feelings by going without him. Should I ask the friend if my husband can come too? Or should I just decline the invitation and be done with the whole awkward situation? |
Question: How to get sole custody of my son? Posted: 25 Oct 2016 07:12 AM PDT I live in Guyana and I recently got married and were moving to the USA to live to continue our studies and to get better jobs.. We already have jobs waiting for us up there , home and car.. However when I was 15 my ex and I had a baby.. We broke up because she started cheating on me. I guess she thought if I had her kid I wasn t going to leave no matter what.. Anyways I found a new gf and since then Ive had a hard time seeing my son. When we got married my ex even attacked my wife and she was charged. She wont let me see my son and I am afraid when I go to USA I will lose all communication with my son who is 3. I really want my son to come and live with me in the States because I don t want him growing without a father. We had him when we were really young so I couldn t be there for him financially but now I am able to. Is there anyway the court would allow me to have full custody? |
