Question: Am I wrong for wanting to leave my husband? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 09:11 PM PDT My husband and I have been married for 13 yrs. Lately I can t stand him, we have 3 kids and he wants nothing to do with them, comes home from work and goes straight to the basement to play his game and watch his tv shows. He smokes and doesn t care that the kids are seeing that, he drinks almost daily, doesn t shower often... we don t sleep together anymore and he s fine with that. I m fed up, am I right to feel like I want a divorce? |

Question: Cheaters? Should you take them back or let them go? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 08:43 PM PDT My friend's husband cheated on her with with a fake friend of hers. Then he divorced her and married her fake friend. Turns out that fake friend was too controlling for him and overly serious and couldn't deal with his antics. She then cheated on him and left him. My friend's ex-husband was full of regret and came back to her pleading for her to take him back. I told her not to because he had cheated on her with the same girl when back they were engaged. (Although her "friend" was innocent during that time because she did not know they were engaged or even together. After she found out, though, she relentlessly pursued him and tried to convince my friend not to marry the guy.) Also, I didn't want her to take him back because usually when a person cheats once, they will cheat again. Plus the guy was very controlling and though he wasn't physically abusive, he was verbally abusive. He was too aggressive and pushed her into doing things she later regret. He was emotionally manipulative and would make her feel bad and she would apologize for things she did that weren't wrong at all. Overall, he's completely selfish. Everything has to be his way or there's a problem. It was almost like my friend didn't even have a body of her own. He was a sex addict. In fact, him begging and pleading for forgiveness and a second chance is the most humility I've seen in him for years. There's much more. Her fake friend lied that her daughter wasn't his and he hated her and ignored his daughter... |
Question: Is it wrong to intentionally bring another woman into the picture to get a rise? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 08:43 PM PDT Or atleast to bring hidden feelings to the surface You can talk about her until you are blue in the face or even hear rumors about it. But there is nothing, and I mean nothing, quite like seeing it with your own eyes. Coach, Are you referring to the Mary that I thought I ran into on the street which it turned out wasn't Mary but just a similar looking Redhead? |

Posted: 17 Oct 2016 08:30 PM PDT So, My mom and dad separated when I was very young, and My dad and Mom both got remarried. I live with my mom and step dad most of the time but visit my dad and his wife periodically, along with my three other siblings. But now my dad and his wife are getting a divorce, which is very scary for me because I grew up with her and don't want to lose her. I also want to see my siblings and I haven't seen any of my dads family since they announced the divorce. What should I do? |

Question: What to do if you know your wife has been seeing another guy? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 07:58 PM PDT What would you do if you knew your wife was seeing another guy and you could tell the guy's wife? Would you find a way to tell her, even though that would ruin your renewed relationship with your own spouse and potentially ruin another family as well? Or would you just keep moving on and try not to think about it? |

Question: Why is New York State So Conservative on Marriage Issues? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 06:51 PM PDT Until 1967, New York did not permit divorce except for adultery, and it was not until 2010 that the New York Legislature permitted no-fault divorce. Even still, the no-fault ground is hedged about with restrictions. Why is New York, which most people think of as a liberal state, so conservative on marriage issues? |
Question: My girlfriend doesn't know how to cook? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 06:00 PM PDT You might not think it's a big deal, but it is for me. I'm the gourmet type. And I always eat at home. Plus she demands ''serious relationship''. Which means a relationship that ends with marriage. And I will never marry a woman who does not know how to cook. So how to deal? Any ideas? PS: I'm a terrible cook myself. My food is to survive not to enjoy. |
Question: Will someone ever love me? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 05:51 PM PDT I am 36 divorced for 10 years. I have been single since just taking time for myself. I am lonely and wonder if someone will ever really love me. will they think of me all day at work, stare at me as I look away, absolutely adore me. Has anyone been single and then find love at my age? |
Question: Any advice to a heartbroken girl? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 05:48 PM PDT I couldn't take the emotional abuse and violent verbal abuse from my ex partner so instead of sweeping things under the rug, I called the cops and had him arrested for domestic abuse. The incident was that he was drunk and he was calling me all these vulgar names and saying all these disgusting things about me whoring myself when I was getting him food because he was too smashed to get it himself. When I finally got there I was furious with how he was treating me, mad at all the other times he had done this to me when I was busting my *** for him(always cleaning after him, cooking, ironing, being dd, working two jobs and also going to school and we don't even live together anymore!) I was so fed up with his excessive drinking and cannibis mixing, it was always the root to his temper and cruel behavior because when he is not being clouded with substance, he is a wonderful, loving, considerate man who I adore so much, who treats me with respect and love. But he took it too far and even started kicking me when I confronted him about his behavior and problem. He stared calling me crazy and worthless and every degrading name and he would hit me and say he wasn't but then do it again. I snapped but now he's asking me to bail him out of jail. I miss him and I still have hope that he will change. But what do you think? I'm just heartbroken that he would say he loves and wants me to come back home but then treat me like this when I stand up to him. |

Question: Being a stay at home wife? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 03:31 PM PDT Since I got married a year ago and graduated from college I havent had the best of luck with jobs. I worked three months this summer at a job I did not enjoy. I resigned with no regret. Currently my husband works full time and goes to school part time. His job requires he works a night shift and it limits my time with him . right now I am not searching for a job because 1) we dont need the money , my husband makes enough , and 2) I am planning to try to have a baby soon.Currently I am trying to lose some weight before trying to concieve though.Unfortunately , I have a family friend who is very judgemental of my decision to stay at home even though I do not have children. This friend is being very judgemental when they should be. They have a daughter who has never worked a job in her entire life, and she got pregnant right after getting married and has two kids. The other children my friend has are stay at home moms as well.I am not sure why they are so bent out of shape about me not working except for the fact that they think im lazy . This is crazy to me because the past 6 years I have always worked and I put myself through college . I have supported myself fully. I am upset that I am recieving judgement because I am staying at home in order to support my husband as he works. I handle the home , chores , cooking and everything that has to do with errands and ect. |
Question: What will happen if I try and get with another woman while I am married.? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 03:23 PM PDT I am married but this girl at my job keeps leading me on to her. I let her know that I was married but she keeps flirting. If I am flirting with her back which I do sometimes am I being disrespectful to my wife. I know cheating is wrong but am not touching her or saying anything sexual. |
Question: Husband won't eat the lunch i make him? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 03:19 PM PDT I get up at 5:30 in the morning to make my husband lunch and to start his coffee so its ready when he wakes up. I make his favorite kind of sandwich, pack him his favorite chips and add whatever else he likes but instead of bringing it with him to work he just leaves it in the car. Why? I dirty up containers for no reason, i have to clean them or even pick them up out of his car because he doesn't even bring them inside. |
Question: Wife tired or just selfish? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 03:19 PM PDT We don't have any kids, we both work, but after work I'm the one that does all the chores, bill paying, cooking etc while she just naps and watches TV. She says shes really tired after work, unless we have sex then shes not tired. Im actually getting tired to the point I dont want to do anything. |
Question: Is it right for me to have to pay my husband money back? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 03:04 PM PDT When my husband gives me money I have to pay him back. He also is always asking me when you gone pay my money back I gave you. He will give his mama, sister and nephew money or anything and they don't have to pay nothing back. He never ask them to pay him back either but he stays on my case about I owe him. |

Posted: 17 Oct 2016 02:19 PM PDT We have been dating since May. I've been putting off having them meet because my parents are really racist. I'm not like them at all. My girlfriend is white/African-American. I love her and I didn't want them to scare her away but now we are getting more serious. They've seen pictures of her on Facebook and even though they didn't like her, they said they didn't want me hiding her from them. They wanted to meet her from the beginning but I finally took her to meet them for dinner because she recently said now that we're getting more serious, she needed to know what she was in for because I had told her what they were like to an extent. My parents said really awful things like "we don't wanna have n***** grandkids" and that I should stick to my own kind. I said that was really offensive and asked them to be nice to her. They did not say anything racist or offensive while she was there but they were rude to her and not really welcoming. Right after dinner she asked me to take her home. She said that she's not used to being treated like that and she's not going to get used to it and that we should take a break. I hate that my parents made her cry. I'd pick her over them but she said she doesn't want to come between my family. I talked to them about it and they refuse to apologize. They said she was a nice girl, obviously very smart, "one of the prettier ones." I just can't get over that despite them mentioning good qualities about her still treating her like that. |

Question: Can connection with ex wife mean there s something there still and I should pursue her? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 01:45 PM PDT Divorced over a year. Things got tough with two young boys and work. The bad in our relationship got worse and to the point of fighting in front of kids, being abusive to each other and separating. We didn t go through a sloppy divorce per today s standards...we didn t even need lawyers. It was her choice. She just gave up one day and stop trying and said she wanted divorce. I reacted and pushed her away further due to abandonment issues I have from childhood. We ve been in counseling for two years separately. I m more aware of my crap now and doing well. We ve maintained a good connection due to being stellar co parents.we have heartwarming chats about them dailey. We both have a new relationship. Hers is with the guy I thought was trying to steal her for awhile. I hate him. Online dating blessed me with a sweet caring 10. I still think and dream about my ex alot though, but also love my new gf. It s a healthy thing we have. Not sure what to do |
Question: Should I wait it out? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 01:27 PM PDT I ve been in a relationship 9 years now. Married for 3. Once we get hitched I never wore my ring. Not to fond of the jewelry. She was in my *** about not wearing it. So to please her and to be the "good husband" that I am I wear it. But like it said. It s been 3 years later now SHE still has not changed her last name... it kills me. My friends and family don t care for that route. I still wear my ring to this day. What are my options?? |

Posted: 17 Oct 2016 01:05 PM PDT It was my fault. I started a conversation with him a year ago and my attraction to him just grew because of it. We don't speak anymore and I'm trying to shake him off...but I just can't. I'm happily married but this kid takes over my thoughts especially when I'm alone. Should I get therapy? |
Question: Is it good that my bf last for an hour in bed? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 01:02 PM PDT hat was the second time we do it,he lasted for almost an hour without a break. I was happy, but now I have worries that maybe I'm not hot enough for him so he can't orgasm normally ? |

Question: Do you ever feel unsure about your spouses ex if they share children together? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 12:42 PM PDT What if your spouse spent a great deal of time with their ex because they share children and even though the ex is a crappy parent your spouse takes up for them and gets mad at you for not seeing it the same way and almost turns on you because of it. It's as if they have a fantasy about being one happy family with their ex in the picture and you being friends with their ex in order to make it work even though their ex is a creep and you've caught the ex trying to start sh/t and flirt with them. How do you deal with this? |
Question: How can I deal with a controlling and borderline verbally abusive wife? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 12:33 PM PDT My wife and I have been married for 2 years. It goes really well basically as long as I don't say anything she can perceive as an attack against her. As an example, my debit card and chewing tobacco are her favorite things to hide from me. I feel like I'm a child being grounded, which frustrates me a lot. I bring this up to her in an almost obnoxiously nice and polite way, saying it's totally ok and it's not a big deal and that I just don't like the way it makes me feel. All the while, she's tearing into me with personal insults, insisting that I'm mad at her, and bringing up little things that she had a problem with months ago in an attempt to turn the conversation against me before storming out of the room while she still has the last word in, leaving me confused. Any attempt at bringing up any negative issue has the same outcome: she gets aggressively defensive, brings up old arguments, turns the conversation against me, storms out, and doesn't look at me for the rest of the day until she decides it's not an issue anymore, and then gets angry because I'm "acting like an ***". I don't know what to do. If I bring up marriage counselling, she takes it as our marriage being at risk, which makes her again aggressively defensive until I drop it and continue to act as if everything is great. I haven't seen my friends in months. She doesn't like me to see my friends, because she decides not to see hers because she often "feels lazy". Please help?? I'm trapped in a box. |
Question: Should I tell him I'm pregnant? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 12:31 PM PDT Ok, I really need someone's advice as I can't discuss this with my family or friends. Basically I was dating a guy and two months after we had broken up, I discovered I'm pregnant... What complicates things even more is that guy is like 4 years younger than me (I'm turning 25 in 4 months and he's only 21- biggest mistake of my life) and still a college medical student I've decided not to have an abortion, raise the child alone and keep it a secret forever. Besides a child can grow up without a father in his life, there are many women who are successful single mothers (it would be pretty embarassing for the kid to have an much older mother than a father. I don't need financial aid to raise my kid from anyone, I'm independent. What shall I do? What's your opinion? @real estate guy: when did i say i'm a medical student? reread my question |

Question: How can I make amends with my husband after betraying him? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 11:47 AM PDT I have a wonderful family, wonderful home, but I am lonely. My husband and i have been fighting. we are newlyweds. we havent made love or touched each other in awhile. Ive been going to a bar. I man this man at the bar. He's been a good listener to me until i developed feelings for him. someone told my husband about me and this man. my husband caught us. ever since life for me has been hell. I never slept with this man I met in the Bar. My husband and I dont believe in Divorce. But I think he is having a change of heart. My husband dosent talk to me. touch me. I never felt so alone. I deeply regret betraying my husband, Neither of us are happily married. I want to save my Marriage. I am still madly in love with him. He is deeply hurt. I wasnt trying to hurt him. I wanted to lift my depression and pain. my mother died not too long ago. I was feeling neglected. so I confided in this man friend I met. I want my life back. I want my family back. I am willing to do anything to get them back. My husband quit being a husband. He criticized everything I did. I couldnt do anything right . I hated the way he made me feel. I want to fix what I did. I asked him if he wanted a divorce he never answered me on that. when we met we both told each other we dont believe in divorce. what can make someone change their mind with that agreement? How can we get back to where we were before our unhappiness? |
Posted: 17 Oct 2016 11:40 AM PDT My husband has 2 kids by his ex. Children aged 9 and 6. Him and his mom basically had the children for years (Received state assistance as well). Their mother was not providing for them financially or seeing them on a regular basis, so he put her on Child Support. She then, took possession of her kids (Registered them for school for the first time) and then put him on Child Support. In South Carolina, an unmarried mother is always the custodial parent. So they closed my husbands case and opened hers. My husband is now filing for custody. They have a negotiation hearing at the Courthouse coming up in a few weeks to decide how much he will be paying her. Mind you, shes only been keeping the kids for a few months and my husband doesn't know what date his custody case will begin. Any tips ? You all are idiots. I clearly stated that the mother doesn't provide for her children financially, and my husband has been taking care of his kids with the help of his mother, financially, physically and emotionally, and took her kids so she could put him on child support. The mother is doing it out of spite. You all don't read obviously UGH Ill be better off doing this on my own.. |

Question: He deleted it without asking me if I wanted to watch it.? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 11:03 AM PDT My husband has been watching this new show on HBO that's been on a few weeks and today when I went to the DVR to look for it I noticed that he had deleted it. I didn't even know he was watching it until a few nights ago. Did he not think I wanted to see it? He has this thing that he says. "anything you record is for you and anything I record is for us." What's he's basically saying is that he tends to record a lot of stud and when I noticed it on the DVR I want us to watch it together. The stuff I record he has no interest in so I'll watch my stuff and just delete it. Should he have at least asked if I wanted to see it before he deleted it? |
Question: Depressed and down ? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 10:56 AM PDT seems like life just knocks you down. after years of thinking i would get a house i didn't . i am not sure if i want to wait. lived in a dump all my married life . i am still there and there was a house i thought we could buy and my hubby vetoed it. every one of his family got houses for their wives and me i am stuck. done without all my married life and i wonder why? also his family has some users that i finally put my foot down and now i am crazy. i guess i thought i was saving money for us a house now its i gotta wait. did my part so how much longer should i wait? i just want to cry all the time now. i also have no money and it just pisses me off. |
Question: We both drink too much but my husband acts really mean when he drinks. What can i do? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 09:34 AM PDT Before we met, I hardly drank. I met him and he drank a lot- ignoring the red flags I would talk with him about it but push passed it. I ended up caving in and started drinking on the days he would. Not being proud of this, i have slowed down but he is still pushing hard with the drinking. We can both be drinking having a nice evening watching movies, then all the sudden he turns into a complete verbally abusive douchebag. I used to argue back with him, but now I just say okay and try to ignore it. He will get completely trashed, barely able to function, drive back to the store and get more. If I go to bed he calls people he hasnt seen or talked to in years and tell them all of his problems, its embarrasing. He will even start verbally abusing me in front of company, our friends, and it completely humiliates me. This used to be a problem every now and then, now it is every single time.he will spend the next day apologizing then hes back at it. Last night he had 7 beers and thats all it took. He has gone to jail numerouse times throughout our relationship due to his drinking. I want a normal man I can drink and have fun with without it ending sour. I had told him we need to go without drinking, he agreed, but I know it wont last long. What can I do. We are already about to start counseling, but I feel like if he dont learn how to control his alcohol counseling wont do squat. |
Question: Helping a friend of mine “My grandfather was a player, ask for DNA test? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 09:24 AM PDT Helping a friend of mine "My grandfather was a player, lady's man, not proud of this. Just can't believe women fell for him. He knocked up ex-wife as they were divorcing, the new wife and 2 other women around the same time. (4 women at the same time). The wives I believe, but at what point do you start asking for a DNA test. Grandfather died 20 years ago, gee, another uncle pops up yesterday but is refusing to give out his real name". random uncles coming forward, saying their mom had an affair with grandfather. |

She also said the dress was one of her favorites and seeing me in it was ruining her memories. Are women really this silly ? |
Question: Does he have the right to analyze me? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 07:28 AM PDT As many of you already know my husband and I have serious marital problems. Several months ago he graduated with his masters in counseling and now it seems that he like to analyze me and our situation. I don't have any degree but I have been to college and the more I tell him not to psycho-analyze our situation the more he does it. Even in casual conversations it seems that he'll say something that makes me feel dumb or small. I'm tempted to take his degree (s) off the wall and rip them up. He graduated with his undergrad *** Laude and he did very well with his graduate degree as well but I just get tired of him trying to tell me why I'm wrong or where I can improve. Does his degree give him the right to analyze me and our situation? |
