So I asked my 2 soon to be sister in laws to be bridesmaids in my wedding. One of them said yes, but the other said no because she lives an hour away and said that is too much for her to drive to a wedding. When she told me, my heart sank because it made me think she wasn't coming to the wedding at all. I don't understand why she seems so distant because I've tried being nice to her, even though i will admit I am not too crazy about her. I told her that she should go not for me, but for her brother. She then told me that's its too long of a drive and that she will probably have to work anyway. I really want her to be there but my fiance says there's not much neither of us can do. So do I just drop this whole thing and get on with our wedding?

We are looking for a unique creative wedding venue for a wedding in Syracuse NY in early November,as both of us are not very religious. -those wedding websites have not been very helpful...
