Posted: 11 Oct 2016 10:31 PM PDT So my wedding is three weeks out, and my fiance s maid of honor just backed out due to issues stemming from our landlord (the sister of the MOH) feeling like we cheated her a year ago. Not going into that, but we already have someone who is similar sizethat can replace her. We tried contacting her back today about getting the dress back to no success. Are within our legal rights to get the dress back, or is it now hers and she doesn t have to give it back? If it is the former, can I contact the police about it and have them force her to return it?
Question: Advice for a small beach wedding? Posted: 11 Oct 2016 04:54 PM PDT My fiancée and I live in southern california and honestly just want to have a small secret wedding on a beach...8 people tops including the officiant and photographer. I don't know why I'm having such a difficult time finding the answers I need but if anyone can help with the following it would be greatly appreciated: We want an evening wedding on a beach with rock formations in southern California. Just drive there, have the ceremony, and take a few photos. No setup...probably won't be there longer than an hour. Hope someone can help! Thank you!

Posted: 11 Oct 2016 04:00 PM PDT I really love Beck - Heart Is A Drum, but the words aren t really the best for the occasion. Any other songs in that kind of style that are more apropos? I don t really care for the really sappy songs, and my fiance and I are silly idiots, so something light-hearted and/or non-typical would be best.

Question: Was I wrong to tell the bride that I think my bridesmaid dress is hideous? Posted: 11 Oct 2016 11:53 AM PDT My brother's soon to be wife picked out these dresses for her bridesmaid and I think they are ugly. So I decided to tell her that I did not like the dress because it was hideous. I backed out of the wedding because i don't want to pay 200 dollars for a hideous dress that I'm only going to wear once. She threw a tempur tantrum and told me to F off. I did not like the way she treated me so now I am thinking of skipping her stupid wedding. Do you think she owes me an apology?
Question: Wedding Guest Sick and We re Charged with Clean up? Posted: 11 Oct 2016 10:08 AM PDT I got a married this past weekend and we had a wedding guest drink to much and get sick. We provided transportation to and from the reception to hotel. Said guest ended up getting sick all over transportation. We are now charged $125 for clean up. Should we suck up and pay it ourselves or do we reach out to said guest and ask them to pay? *Please know we plan to pay regardless - just wondering if we should ask the guest to pay us back for it.

Question: Marriage advice for a wedding speech!? Posted: 11 Oct 2016 06:04 AM PDT Hi everyone! My sister is getting married this weekend (we are all very excited!) and I am finishing up writing the speech for the wedding. I thought it would be fun to include marriage advice from all sorts of people and was wondering if you guys could help me out here. I'm looking for both funny advice and actual advice. Thank you!
Question: Am I too distant to ask these girls to be my bridesmaids? Posted: 11 Oct 2016 04:11 AM PDT I am an introvert, and although I am friendly and have a lot of friends, I'm experiencing some anxiety about asking a couple girls to be bridesmaids in my wedding. I met these two girls years ago at an old job of mine nearly five years ago. We were co-workers and we got along well. We have only hung out 2-3 times (more than a year ago). We've stayed in contact (mostly on Facebook) and we always chat when we run into each other. I DO want to ask them. They're really kind, supportive, fun, and responsible. I am terrified I am not close enough for them to want to be my bridesmaids, though, I am terrified I am overestimating my friendships and that it's too much to ask of an old co-worker. If you had this kind of relationship with someone and THEY asked YOU to be a bridesmaid - would you accept?
