They won't get to know you but judge you. They will bully any guy that they think is weaker than them, They will blast you over little things, they usually punch a wall or kick a chair when they get frustrated, They get smart aleck over nothing, Why are they like this?

What I mean is, if there are two cousins, and they each had a child, then what would the children call each other? Second cousins, third cousins, second cousin once removed? Etc.

would you treat elders in your family the same as you would treat friends after they try to embarras you? if these insults were from friends I would never tolerate the disrespect I would retaliate instantly. there has been a lot of success and failures in my life. Im at a point where Im happy with my path and gradual movement forward. Im starting to gain a lot of national attention and publicity in my field but I never talk about it when I travel to visit my family. I always do my best to remain humble and silent about my success to keep the family peace and bonding. my family never really supported me as a youth and i moved miles away from the country to a big city. back then it was never "do you enjoy your new things"… it was "how can you afford that" my family and elders alway greet me with sincere warm love at first. but I've noticed a pattern over years when i visit where my grandparents wait until were in front of a group of family and they start to ask a series of personal questions that are designed to embarass me. The things they ask are never relevant to the general conversation but are things about my personal life and "losses" in my financial or love life. they never ask positive questions like "hey hows that new six figure promotion you earned or I heard you donated money to that cancer charity".. they never encourage my family loyalty like "that was great that you were the only one who could afford to pay for your mothers surgery last month". it feels bad they never ask "did you finish remodeling your new 8 bedroom home or we saw you on tv last month how was the interview" i can be the biggest asshole on earth that hurts feelings but I try my best to remain humble and give same respect for my family I expect them to have for me. lately I just sit and listen to the negativity and ask my self why is this important to ask and also I could hurt your feelings but your my family so i will let you get your rocks off.

The guy who took my senior pictures recently came over to drop them off. I learned that we both got hired at a new, local restaurant. We started texting a little bit, since work starts soon. A friend of mine who knows him told me he's a little creepy, 34, and has a DWI when I asked her about him. After I told him I'm 18, he said it's good to know I'm legal, asked if I'd ever do a "sexy" shoot (which I declined to), and asked if I want to hang with him some day. He asked what bra and waist size I have (to use for quick draw) and so that he could order clothes and lingerie for shoots and know it'd fit me - after I said I wasn't interested in another shoot, said that he's always admired my body, and proceeded to ask for a date. explained that I'm extremely busy with school and didn't know if I'd be able to find time and he got REALLY irritated, said he felt stupid for asking since he hasn't asked a girl out in 3yrs, whatever, and would never ask again. I didn't want him to be upset so I told him if I found time I would & like him as a friend. He said he was glad he got me to admit that I "like and want him" after months of him trying to get me to. He continued to mssg me all night and I woke up to a bunch of txts. I don't want to hurt his feelings, and feel terrible that he got the insinuation that I want this type of relationship/interaction from him, but that doesn't take away from the fact that I'm very uncomfortable now. I'm not sure if I should confront him and risk hurting his feelings for an awkward workspace in return, or what to do. I just don't see how he expects something like he thinks is going work.

I am a CS student, i ve been studying hard a year and a half in a row. I m already 6 days on my vacation and its so boring, Yes i have nothing here at home and i have few friends. I feel like i need to rest, indeed i worked hard last year.. yes im tired alot, However i like studying and keep my mind sharp and it bothers me not doing so. I feel bored, confused and holiday is killing me What should i do?

My boyfriend, since July, is on parole and house arrest. Never dated someone like him. He has a 7 year old he cant see yet due to parole, I moved 45 minutes away from my family and friends. They have no refrigerator and we have to put our crap in coolers, their only car has been smashed by many car accidents and barely surviving and looks horrific, they're constantly in need of money, his mom and sister are the loudest, most obnoxious people I've ever met, I can hear his sister and her bf fuc king, she doesn't clean up after her puppies sh it leaving me to do it, and I just feel like dirt and grime being in Detroit already. All of this *keeps* me in an irritated, depressed state. I'm used to having what I need when I need it--stability and security. I miss my friends and my family, my car blew up on me so I can't see them. Him and I were raised differently. I moved out of comfortable, middle class to the ghetto, lower class. Am I being selfish? Should I start changing how I think? He has family and friends here, I have not **** to do. I'm tired of talking to the same and seeing the same damn people every God damn day. When we leave we have to be mindful of the time cause he will get in trouble if he's past his Out Time. This annoys/frustrates me too. I wasn't this angry and depressed before I moved. I'm just so unhappy, but because it's temporary I'm trying to put up with it. So do I have a problem or would anyone feel the same way?

So I ve had this discussion several times with my parents about buying my own car. Every time I do my mom says its a stupid idea and that no teenager has their own car. Now Ive been working three years and I work 30 plus hours a week and recently just got promoted. Plus I attend community college so I am never home, having a car everyday is like necessity. Now to me a car means freedom and that s exactly why my mom is trying to stop me from buying one because while I am still driving her car she still has some control over my life. I wont be spending a penny of my parents money. I saved up enough to pay for the car itself and the insurance. So how do I tell my parents that they really can t stop me from doing anything at this point and that whether I buy a car or not is not their decision.

I am working at a child care watch program for a local YMCA. I have a 2 & 4 year old that come with me. Coworker has a 1&1/2 year old. The coworker is constantly yelling at my kids for little things, like, across the room yelling at them. I feel as though she is singling them out almost on a daily basis. For example: she was letting a group of kids roll cars fast across the floor to where they were slamming into the wall or flipping and skidding, but if my kids pick up the same toy cars and push it fast around the room, they get yelled out. The kids were playing on their hands and knees, but if MY children crawl on their hands and knees, she yells at them to stand up! Yes, my kids will occasionally throw a toy or run (like every single other kids including hers) but I truly feel like she doesn't like my kids and singles them out. (other coworkers on different shifts cant stand her either, just found that out). Today she told another coworker that my kids taught her kid to throw toys. Not true, we have to tell several kids at each shift not to throw and they are rarely my kids that are involved. I don't know what to say to the manager but I've set up a meeting to discuss it anyway. Thoughts? I should add that my daughter said to me today " miss K is not very nice, she's always yelling".

My girlfriend cheated on me with my friend. I ve always wondered what was going on exactly since they spent most of their time together...at work & after work. Now I ve found out that they ve been sleeping together & they still do, probably & I ve got proof. They both have hurt me a lot. I went through his phone and read his text messages. I got the other woman's number and text her from his phone. She did the same thing. She went through his phone and text me. She got my phone number from him and she has been calling and texting me since. She has embarrassed him public by throwing drinks on him and punching him in the face in front of his friends. She even cut up some of his clothes and left them outside of his apartment building. He told me that he doesn't trust me because I've gone through his phone and for all he knows I've been through his wallet and pockets. I was slightly insulted because all he's done is lie to me and tell me that he was no longer seeing this woman. I am at a crossroads in my life right now . My parents didnt support me going to college so the past three years I have worked hard to just only finish my associates degree. I am already 26 years old now. Normally most people would have finished college by 23 or 24 but I have taken so longs since I have had to support myself and go to school. I recently got married and we are approaching our first year anniversary. My desire it to go ahead and settle down and have children ( it is my husbands desire too). I have always wanted to finish my degree but I also never wanted to wait too late to have kids. Im at a conflict. I dont really want to wait to have children since my parents had me when they were alot older than most parents and I saw how they struggled to keep up with young kids physically, I will probably be 28 when I graduate with my bachelors if I wait and go to school. I am also not really sure what career I would have if I get a degree. My desire is to be a stay at home mom, so my degree will mostly be for if I ever to need to go back into the workforce I will have it. What should I do ? I am conflicted, and really would like to just settle down and have a family . School can be frustrating .

This guy started out just being normal and talking to me so I was trying to be friendly and now he won't leave me alone. When I was about 5 or 6 years old I was getting sexually abused by a girl who was 16-17 years old. When I turned around 7 my grandma started baby sitting her friends grandchildren. A girl (6) a boy (3). We played this game which I believe I started where we would kiss like the grown ups did in the telenovelas my grandma watched. We all laughed and went on with our day. Then, one day, I was alone with the little boy and I made him "grind" on me for like minute because his sister came in the room and asked what I was doing and I said "its our new dance" then we laughed about it but I felt terrible and just went to sleep I didn't see them till the next day they came back but nothing happened it was just that one time and I never again touched him or her. Since i am not trying to heal from my own abuse I can;t help but think, did I abuse another child as well? NO!!!! Nothing happened like that.

Hi I´m gay and I´m dating a guy 10 years older than me, I´m 20, and we love each other, he is really nice but I´m not happy with his job. He is an actor and doesn´t earn much money he only has 2 plays and people don´t really go to see them, sometimes there are 4 or 6 spectators. He has had a difficult life because of his career choice still he just loves what he does, but I´m the one paying everything every time we go out and I never get a present unless he finds a discount. He has been working in a part-time job where he gets enough for his rent but not always for food and I feel really bad about it so I try to buy food when I visit him and every time I ask him to find a better job he says he can´t because he may find a role in a movie or a commercial. According to him, I´m the best thing in his life but I feel that I deserve better even if I love him I´m a student and I´d like to go out with friends and save money for videogames or trips and spent more time studying or learning a new language. If I leave him he would be devastated and since he comes from another state he would be alone. I also hate the fact that he is 30 and he keeps going to bed after 12 and waking up at 6 for his job, he doesn´t sleep nor eat properly and as he is older than I am he will get weaker faster. Should I just break up with him for this reasons or am I being selfish? I really love him and he is really sweet , he is honest and has no bad habits.
