I have been doing poorly this whole school year and my mom asks me everyday how im doing and i always tell everything is fine she went to talk to my councelor today without me knowing and found out im missing credits and doing really bad with my grades she asked me why am i doing this if the only thing i have to worry about is school and I feel really guilty and sad i love her a lot and I didn't want this to happen how can i get this guilt out of me?

This is a really horrible situation that I'm loosing sleep and hair over. My ex husbands family is negatively impacting my daughters attitude. She's only 9 and she has a serious reality problem with the value of a dollar and her grandparents. (My ex's side) Think her attitude and lack of respect and appreciation is funny. I can't control the amount of time she spends with them when she's at her dad's. I cannot help feel helpless because she thinks the world of her dad and his family because they give her anything and everything she wants, where I am left to be the bad guy because I expect those things from her. She thinks I hate her (her own words) because I care what kind of a little human she turns out to be. I do not want her to expect things in life I want her to earn them and appreciate all that she does have. As an added bonus they constantly bad mouth me around her and so she has a horrible view of me as her mother. I'm so fed up with all the constant drama, I've tried to communicate my concerns to them and her dad and he could care less. I'm at a loss right now with options and what I can and should do. I FEEL like I need to remove her from the unhealthy situation but is that fair to take time away from her dad because his family cannot control their actions and keep their mouths shut?

So I just bought a juicer to make juices and yesterday I made juices for my family and myself (for my grandma, my sister, and my mom). This morning I was doing my homework on the kitchen table and my mom asked if she could make a carrot juice and I said yeah let me finish this really quick and I'll put it together for you because I washed it last night and she does not know how to put it together so I didnt want her to break it. Then I said "Hold on let me just make myself a ginger shot first" because once you make carrot juice everything stains and everything comes out carrot flavor and color orange after the carrot is put in the juicer. While this all happened my sister was on her phone and she said "In other words she doesn't want you to use/touch her juicer" to my mom. then my sister went upstairs and I asked my mom "why is she like that, thats not what I meant" and my sister overheard me and she started going at me saying "well yeah she doenst want you to use it she is putting to many buts" and she kept on going on and on sorta of like insulting me in front of my grandma and my mom, while I remained quiet and wanting to cry and I was getting to fed up, meanwhile I was putting the juicer back together and she was still talking about me so I could not take it anymore and I threw the top bar of the juicer and it made a loud noise and I said "I'm tired of her" and went to my room crying. Then I heard my sister say "she is crazy". Did I overreact?

Every year around my birthday, my parents always have my grandparents over to celebrate, we open gifts, have cake, etc. This year is my 21st Birthday, I'm pretty excited! I feel like my parents just don't really care though. I asked them at the beginning of the week if my grandparents were coming and my mom told me she didn't know and that she hadn't really thought about it. I brushed it off because they live close by and they are never busy, so I assumed she was just waiting to call them and invite them. It's now 3 days before my birthday, I asked and my mom said she didn't know and that she hadn't asked them yet. I asked what we were gonna do on the day and my mom told me she had nothing planned and that we weren't really gonna do anything! Which hurt my feelings, they already had their birthdays and I made sure to have special stuff planned for them, I even got them presents even though I don't have much spare money. I feel like they don't care all, the past 2 years my birthday got overshadowed by my cousins baby showers but I didn't complain because that's life. But this year when we are free to do whatever they just ignore it instead. Like I don't care if I get any presents at all but I would like to at least celebrate and have cake and feel special for a day. I talked to my cousin who lives far away and she told me they might be planning a surprise party because that's what happened with her friend (our situation are really similar). I don't think that's the case.

This time I was reading to my little sister.was reading her a book instead of doing the kitchen as he asked me to otherwise she wouldn't stop coming down while I was cleaning I was in the middle of cleaning. He started to shout at me asking to clean the kitchen & got annoyed while I kept saying I'm finishing this book to her so I can clean it without distractions.He proceed to shout& I got upset and told him to shut up&let me explain since he kept raising his voice&cutting me off everytime I tried to speak.He toke my phone off of me so that I'm not allowed contact with people.I started crying from all the yelling he was doing& I told him leave me alone&he said shut up.I tried moving rooms so that he wouldn't follow me telling him to leave me alone. He waited not even a min knowing I was sobbing and asks if I've cooled down and obviously I hadn't after 30 sec. I tried to leave to go down by nans which is only a minute or two on foot away and he started chasing me and grabbing me yelling in ears to go to my room after saying I was scaring my siblings by crying.I shut the door and hid in the wash room sobbing. He opened the several times trying to drag me. I told him to leave me alone and shut the door.He tells me that he got everything on record in a tormenting way grinning.I know it's only the parts where I yelled at him so he can look innocent every time.He mockingly started yelling goodnight I love you &each time I flinched as he kept grinning&laughing every time he said it.

I can be very affectionate towards a lover or even close friends. I love hugs and all that, I love just helping people and being friendly and warm. But when it comes to family, I have a troubled past with them, but I ve always felt like there s been a wall there between me and anyone I m related to. I feel awkward telling my mom I love her, and I cringe everytime my little sister tries to hug and say she loves me. I do love my family and I know I d grieve if I lost any of them, but somehow I find it so difficult to just be open and loving with them. I really like my step-Mom but my Mom resents this and tells me critical things on a weekly if not daily basis about my Dad and step-Mom. Should I stop liking my step-Mom and even Dad so my Mom will stop being mad? She gets mad at me when I have fun with my Dad and step-Mom like when I spent part of my summer travel with them or when I see them on holidays. I hate Thanksgiving and Christmas because my mother makes it all about trying to keep me from my Dad and I fear she will succeed. So what do I do? Should I act like I hate them for my Mom? The cousin of hers COULD NOT help it, he did his absolute best and simply had disabilities that made him catch onto things like social manners later in life. So he was about 25 when he caught up socially to stuff the rest of us catch up to at 15. So now he is 45 and wonderful. My mother is uncomfortable around him because she thinks he is how he was 25 years ago (he used to stay too long when visiting and stop by without calling first). He is not at all like he was 25 years ago. How do I get my mother to forgive this poor guy? I am sensitive to it because I think she is mad at him because his father, her uncle, is a jerk so she is dumping on him behind his back for flaws his father has and not for his own mistakes (painting him bad because his father was bad). Plus I have learning disabilities and am too quiet (this guy was too hyper I am the opposite) and so I feel bad for the guy. My mother is too critical. How do I get her to stop judging people and being prejudice for the sins of their parents?

When my neice(17) and nephew(19) were 10 and 12, I started telling them it doesn't matter what they eat, or if they eat the right amount, if they eat anything they will become overweight one day. I stopped telling them this when they were 15 and 17, but it it still angers them. Why are they angered by the truth? My eldest has adhd, I have no feelings for after she last beat me up and bit me in June, shes to yet stand trial for this. I don't want her here, I have lost multiple friends over the years and relationships because of her I detest her and don't want her living with me. I'm 21 and my parents are going through a divorce and so I try to hang out with each of them at least once a week. So about a year ago I started saving money for a school organized summer trip to Costa Rica. My dad said I could go but I had to pay the $2,600 myself. My mother and I, we don t talk, I don t live with her, I have a sister that went to the same school as I did (I switched out). I ignored her and avoided her as much as possible while she bad mouthed me and started stuff because she s like my mother. I'm a 24 year old woman. I think that my cousin is very spolied he is in the age range of 17-20. So younger than me, yet it still is unfair in my opinion. I plan on moving in with my aunt and uncle in about a year when I have my life more together. They have three kids. Two in college, which they pay for and a third who is a young teen. Some background info: myself and fiancé have a very blended family. We have 3 children together, but none with each other (he has a son and a daughter, different moms, I have a son, different dad). My question is how do I control my anger/jealousy when it comes to his daughters mom? It's more anger than jealousy but the jealousy does come in. When I came into the picture he had just received unsupervised visitation because he had finally been seeking his daughter enough for her to be used to him. The mom does a complete 180 and gets all friendly with my fiancé, trying to invite him in the house when he picks her up, saying she needs help getting her dressed, etc, wanting "family time". I am 20 years old, graduate from a 2 year college (Associates degree), 2 years of experience in working, I earned medals and mature (According to my former boss and co-worker). My parent's FORCED me to study 4 years college; that means my friends are already working. My friends invite me on their free time to spend time together, when I ask my parents that I go to my friends they won't let me. I am 53. I have bipolar and ADHD. I have had them since I was about 13 years old. Around 15 years or ago or so, when my son and daughter were 2 and 3. Something came over me, and I just didn't feel like they were mine. I didn't feel like a father. I would notice myself growing more and more inpatient with them each day. I NEED HELP! I am in an awkward living situation. I live in my aunts house with another woman (my aunt doesn t live up here anymore). As of yesterday, i found out that my dad proposed to his new girlfriend. Personally, i feel happy for the both of them and wish them the best of luck. But as for telling mom, I'm not sure how she'll take it. My hope that she doesn't overreact and get angry.

My mom met a guy on a date site. He is younger than her (and he has a touch of autism and some other social issues). They have been texting for five months. They agreed to finally meet which they did. It went pretty well, they ate and spent time near a river and saw some scenery while driving around. They had a really good time and talked for four-and-a-half hours. My mom though was very taken aback because during their time together, he told her he is not very social and it would be okay if she couldn't see him again for a couple of months. He told my mom to stop asking him about meeting again and the word dating makes him nervous, he prefers "hanging out." He said he is attracted to her though My mom is having second thoughts though, what should she do?

last may my fiance and i split up. we have a child together and i mean since our son was born i have been the one taking care of him because the father took on another job because he didn't want to be around the baby or i his words. but now that we split up he wants our son all the time and has stated that because i get depressed that im not a good mother. i do see a therapist on a regular bases and i keep up with my meds. so i don't feel like in a bad mother. though i will admit there are days where i am just there and not emotionally invested but im still interacting with him. but on those days i do encourage independent play a little more.

Hi. So when I was little I never really thought that I was ugly until I got to middle school. My older sister lost her puberty fat and got really skinny. I however was still going through puberty and kids at school often called me ugly and fat and the ugly sister. I even had guys that I really liked talk to me only to tell me they wanted me to set them up with my sister. People always said "you'd be pretty like your sister if you lost 30 pounds." I had to go to multiple doctors for depression and anxiety and I was in therapy for self harm. In high school things got better but the commentary didn't stop. I lost 50 pounds and got a lot better looking in general, people still said that she was prettier than me. And this year I gained 40 because I've been so down and anxious. I just graduated and I thought I was finally done with that stuff until someone said to me "where's your sexy sister?" At a get together. I ignored it, and later on I said I'm going to go get a drink and that same person said "go get your sister while you're at it." I could have killed him. I'm so sick of being compared to her. Im a person too, I have feelings it's not fair that I can't just be left alone, it's like people think I'm just here to be compared to my sister. I just want to be left alone:( I never asked for any of this and it hurts why can't they just let me be? What should I do? :(

I just got the nike kd9 basketball shoe, but my heel slips out because i can't tighten much because of the one piece construction. Help?

I need some advice bc I'm kind of in a crisis and don't know what to do. Do you think my mom is overreacting? I'm an 18yr old girl, I went to hang out with my friends on the beach. I've been friends with them for 5-6 years. My friends decided to smoke weed (I didn't). But as I got home, my mom immediately noticed I smelled like weed. She called all of my friends, screaming at them. And then she called their parents screaming at them. And then she called my friends' BOSSES at work and complained saying "do you realized you hired drug addicts" and you need to fire them. And now she called the police. And she told my friends to "get ready to be deported". And now all my friends texted me saying we're never going to be friends again and I have no one now...what do I do? Is my mom overreacting? How do I fix this???
