So there is this guy in a couple of my classes, I find him very attractive/intriguing.. He comes and sits next to me in all of our mutual classes. He knows other people in the classes n we may enter and be the 4th people in class (35 other seats open all over the room), but he waits to see where I sit and sits right next to me every time. If we don't sit next to each other bcuz of a group project, he STARES me down from across the room. Whenever we are in class he will always ask me the "stupidest" questions on what the teacher taught/ ask me to explain little things to him... like, I know he knows some of the things, but he still asks... Every time I have ever started the convo or talked to him for a decent amount of time, he gets VERY RED/flustered and nervous.. he can barely keep steady eye contact with me. It is extremely weird tho because he is a VERY good looking guy who has a lot of experience with girls n appears confident/outgoing from what I see from him with others.. that all being said, I don't know how to make this anything because these are college classes and when you walk in the professor instructs, then you walk out n go to your next class. There is really not much time for small talk. What should I do? I don't feel comfortable asking him to go out or something, in case the feelings aren't mutual. How do I make this something real?! I have friends in band who are great, but they're all at least a year older than me and they have their own friends that they hang out with when they aren't hanging out as a band group. All of my friends outside of band constantly tell me that band makes me fat and ugly, tell me / threaten me to quit band, insult band around my band friends and say that music is useless (etc). I would stop talking to them because I have friends that accept me for who I am, but they're not people who wanna hang out with me outside of school, and the friends that are bitchy to me don't say anything bad as long as I don't mention music when I'm with them. My parents, however, don't understand this and are always pushing me to hang out with people. Even now, I'm at a Halloween party and my parents keep texting me rebuking me for not socializing and telling me that I should hang out with others. In my opinion, people only care about themselves, are two faced, back-stabbing, and are untrustworthy. I've pushed so many people away along the years for this very reason. I've lost every best friend I've had, and for good reason. My most recent best friend sent a pack of people after me to harass me after I said something that she didn't agree with. My best friend before that turned into a completely different person to fit in with the crowd and started talking badly about me behind my back. Being alone makes me feel secure, because I know I'll never have to deal with the pain that goes along with fighting with or losing a friend. I also have very poor social skills, and often stumble on my words when I speak with people, so being alone is advantageous to me because it spares me from embarrassment. My parents are threatening to take me to a psychologist because of my disdain toward socializing. Is it normal? |

The sex is amazing and I'm glad that my first time was with him and not someone else, not because he was my best friend but that the sex happened with him. We were laying in bed, just cuddling and he looked at me and asked me what I wanted out of it. I said, I want a relationship that is not just based on sex and sex alone. I spend my Friday and Saturday nights at home watching a movie or playing video games. What should I do? I'm a shy guy at first and even a little standoffish but I can be a great friend once I start to trust someone. However, These feeling never felt right to me through these 4 years because my emotions grew too strong for her, and she does not feel the same way of that magnitude, especially with her happy relationship with her BF a few months ago, but thinks of me of a very close/personal friend. Recently I told her about these feelings and asked her to block me from her contacts for some time(we text each other every week). I did this because I felt my mind stirring unhealthy emotions as I talked or thought about her, and I was afraid I might direct jealousy and anger towards her so I wanted a break to sort out my mind. However, I m afraid this sudden stop of communication would cause her to worry too much about me and our friendship. So did I do the right thing? Now my second question is what do I do now? I ve had many thoughts of cutting ties with her, to end my misery of emotional pain and stop being an obstacle in her life though I think all it would do is hurt her emotionally since we're close. Staying friends I think will only lock me in this emotional cycle of love and pain where recently it might result into me unable to control myself and I might directly hurt her which is something U never want to do. But in the past year or so I've drifted away from my best friend and now we barely talk and never see each other at all. But I didn't let myself get too sad because I still had the others. But now one of them goes out with other people and gangs and I'm never invited even if I ask her if she's going out or anything. And my other friends, well tbh the only reason I was close with them was because I was with the other two. And they never invite me and we really aren't friends anymore. And I wouldn't mind drifting apart too much only for I have no close friends in school. My whole grade are just all bitchy and I'm never invited to any of my school friends houses or birthdays of anything. And I'm always the only one and that makes me feel like ****. Every time I'm with my friends I really do try my best to be myself and be kind to try my best to keep the friendship , and that goes with friends in and outside of school. But it doesn't work and I really genuinely feel so empty and sad because I have no friends. I can really just burst into tears at any time by just thinking about it. Since coming back, I found out through Facebook and such that some people that I knew in high school are in the area as well. I ran into them and went out for drinks and stuff, everybody had a good time and I did my best to keep everybody entertained and laughing. We clicked so well, but it's been a year and while we still share and talk on facebook, I can never get them to go out and do anything anymore. It's always 'sorry I'm busy' or 'catch you later'. I see that they're doing things all of the time, so it's not because they're tight on cash. I know I shouldn't take it personal but it's a small area of a few towns and there's not a lot to do besides road tripping to the city for a concert, sports, whatever. When I was younger, I used to blame myself whenever I got rejected to do things. I realized that was bullshit and did eventually grow out of thinking that way, but coming back to my hometown re-activated those old feelings. Lately I've been thinking about leaving and diving head first into a new city, state, where-ever and I've started getting wanderlust big time. But every time I think about this, I think what will really change if I do relocate? Will my life get worse if I don't have my family to talk to when things get tough. I get tired of sitting in my apartment every weekend not doing the things that I really want to do. What would you do if you were in my situation? |

I feel genuinely happy, it started out when I joined a club and became close with a lot of people there and I hang out with all of them at a big party-ish hangout with about 15 people. I went into high school only knowing 2 people, and they already left me early into freshman year. I joined the field hockey team this year. The season recently ended and i made 0 friends on the team. Sure, I wouldn't talk that much, but when I would sometimes find the courage to speak up, I was usually ignored and it would make me feel even worse. I just feel so lonely. I had such a great group of friends in 8th grade, but none of them go to the same school as me, and they don't talk to me anymore because they have already found new friends at their own schools... I just feel awkward because it's a quarter of the way into sophomore year and i just feel like everyone already has their own friend group. I don't think I'll be able to make it through junior and senior year like this. I really want change, but how do i do it? I wasnt really bothered by it because i was with friends so i didnt really feel scared going there. When we arrived at the party i noticed i was the only white person at the party. I felt little left out because everybody was looking at me strange. I did try to dance a little bit Like soulja boy does in his video clips. But people were looking at me Like i was Awkward. Its not that i can not dance, i feel i got better moves than Some people there even though im white. So i decided to grab Some drinks and thought Maybe alcohol would make it better. But after A few drinks people started making fun of me and i realised i dont belong here. So i was tipsy but starting to get depressed. Than i decided to drink Some more because drinks were free, so i can do something back. Like they Bully me so i drink all of their alcohol. When i got really drunk i told my friends i was going to home, but nobody really paid attention to what i said. I decided to Walk to home because i dont have A car. It would be A half hour Walk. So i was cool with that even though i was drunk. While i was walking to home people asked if i wanted Some drugs? I told them politely no. But they wouldnt listen. So i freaked out and started running. I ran to A bushy area and decided to sleep outside and become sober again. |

In high school there was a girl who I got into it with and didn t like each other. My bestfriend didn t like her anymore as well and even came up with a mean nickname for her. I am more firm and stand by my word while my bestfriend is somewhat forgiving and gets along with everyone. Recently I have been seeing my bestfriend hang out with the girl on snapchat. It s made me so angry. I asked her about it and she said "Be nice. I have forgiven her and everyone from our town is all cool with each other." I was still furious. I don t understand how you can become friends with someone who talked horribly about your bestfriend and even tried to have people gang up on me on social media. Am I being jealous? Should I stop being friends with my bestfriend? I have spoken to her about how I feel and she says the same thing. I don t think I can be friends with someone who befriends the enemy. When my bestfriend and I come back to town and meet up, it s not even the same anymore, we don t act goofy together or even take pics like we use to, but I see her do all of those things with her new friends.. |

I've never had a relationship and I've never had one good friend that I could actually talk to and who would actually listen and care about me. High school was exactly like that and now college is feeling like it'll be the same. I have no friends, no one to talk to, and I fear that my entire life will pass this way. I don't know what to do, and don't suggest that I "go and meet people!" because it's not that easy for me. EVERYONE I have told about this says I am crazy. They keep telling me that once you die and are in heaven or hell in my case you can not get out. You can NEVER come back to life. I try to explain my reasoning for being frozen with this story. Say it is 1916 and a doctor says that someday when you have a heart problem, a doctor will cut the heart out of a dead person, then cut your heart out, replace it with the heart from the dead person and you will continue to live. In 1916 that doctor would have been labeled as totally crazy and probably lose his/her license to practice medicine. 100 years later, this is a common medical practice. My point is that medicine makes rapid advances and no one can predict what can be done in the future. They might find a way cure what killed you and revive you if your body is still in the same condition as when you died. Does what I plan to do sound crazy to you? Your opinion please. |

Throughout my life, no matter what I do, people can't seem to stop fighting and arguing with me. Sometimes if someone jokes around lightly teases me, I take it too far and attack, I hate that about myself. So to vent all the stress I deal with, I work-out and listen to hardcore punk among other punk and metal genres (I have my own custom/battle vest I made myself). Since I've been doing these I've calmed down, but recently I helped my best friend move into a new house with his family (now he's no longer homeless). Yet, while I was moving in his family possessions his sibling kept trying to tease, bully and start a fight with me! I'm helping him out and he tried to start **** with me. At the time I ignored it and told myself,"if he tries it again, then he's dead.", but days have past and I can't stop thinking about it, I'm tired of fighting people for stupid reasons and this guy has been doing this **** to innocent people for as long as I can remember. I'm also pissed off for letting him do that to me even after all the fights and worse events I've been through, witnessed and done. So he needs to be taken off his high horse for good (at the time of writing this he's a 12th grader), he's always with a certain gang of fake thugs, so I don't care if they'd jump me after the action. I just wanna hurt him the same way he's hurt and damaged innocent kids most his life. Pic related is one of my favorite albums, maybe catch some attention. |

But now it looks like we're going to be extremely spread out. One friend is going to NW. Another is going to Berkeley. Another is going to Emory. He comes and sits next to me in all of our mutual classes. He knows other people in the classes n we may enter and be the 4th people in class (35 other seats open all over the room), but he waits to see where I sit and sits right next to me every time. If we don't sit next to each other bcuz of a group project, he STARES me down. Whenever we are in class he will always ask me the "stupidest" questions on what the teacher taught/ ask me to explain little things to him... like I know he knows some of the things, but he still asks. Every time I have ever started the convo or talked to him for a decent amount of time, he gets VERY RED/flustered and nervous.. he can barely steady keep eye contact with me. It is extremely weird because he is a extremely good looking guy who has a lot of experience with girls and appears confident and outgoing from what I see from him with others.. that all being said, I don't know how to make this anything because these are college classes and when you walk in the professor instructs, then you walk out n go to your next class. There is really not that much time for small talk. What should I do? I don't feel comfortable asking him to go out or something, in case the feelings aren't mutual. Do you think he likes me? |

I know him for about 2 weeks and i ve noticed that he is kind with his new friends too. But he knows me better because we spend a Little more time together because we take the same bus to go to college. i really don t know if it is the reason he is a little more gentle with me . maybe it s only an illusion . One day he was studying with the other friends in college, i came and didn t find an empty seat, so i sat alone in another space, he left his friends and sat near me. maybe he was only being gentle i don t know what to think.... Than when we were walking towards the bus station he said that my bouncy walking was cute, and it was a good thing feeling happy in a world where almost everyone is stressed. When he said me bye bye one day, i noticed that he kept his smile even when he turned about. Does he consider me only a friend or there is something more? |
