Question: Dating someone not divorce yet? Posted: 20 Oct 2016 09:32 PM PDT Hi I am working on a paper assignment. I would like from both gender view. If you are dating someone who is not dirvorce yet nor file yet (they have been separated before you came along) how would you feel? Say you're dating for 1-3 years and they always mention marriage, does that trigger anything when they are not divorce yet? |

Question: I am house hunting and need some FEMALE opinions? Posted: 20 Oct 2016 09:25 PM PDT I live in Southern California and its hard to find a decent home under $1,000,000 here. Even ugly houses in the ghetto are close to $1,000,000. But so far in my search I've found two affordable homes in nice areas. The first house is $850,000 in a nice neighborhood in the San Gabriel valley. It is a fixer upper which is why it is so cheap. Other homes in that neighborhood are selling for $1,300,000+. I like this house a lot despite it needing some work done, but its kind of far from my job. During rush hour, the traffic is so bad it can 2 hours to get to LA from there. The second home I found is $1,025,000 and is in a really nice, affluent neighborhood and only 1.5 miles from my job. This is over my budget but it is still cheap considering its location. All other houses in the area are going for $2,000,000+. The only downside is that someone was murdered in this house. Both houses have 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms and are 2500 square feet. Which house would you be more impressed by if you met a new man you're interested in? |
Question: Do you think this is odd when posting on Facebook? Posted: 20 Oct 2016 09:14 PM PDT Many times I ve noticed that when my husband s step mom comments on posts, she tends to sign her name, or either aunt or mom before her name. She is the only person I know who does this. Also, my husband s younger brother call her mom even though he and my husband are in contact with their biological mother. Step mom only signs herself as mom on his page and not my husband s since he does not call her mom, but only by her first name. My husband s biological mom also thought this was odd because she didn t know of anyone who signed their name either when commenting on a person s post. |

Question: Had a minor car accident with no police report? Posted: 20 Oct 2016 07:45 PM PDT I was going to merge into traffic and there was a parked car behind me, I didn't see the other car coming from behind me as I went to go, and we both hit each other on the side of the cars. Well, it was my fault, we all got out of the car and talked, it was barely some scratches on the side my car, really almost nothing and not dent at all, the other vehicle was about the same way. Now, no police report was made because neither of us called the cops to come out. We just left it alone and they gave me their phone number. Now, should I call them and meet with them and give them some money ? I feel guilty about it being my fault I didn't see them as they were coming and they hit me as I was merging. |
Question: Disapproving parents? Posted: 20 Oct 2016 07:34 PM PDT Me and my boyfriend have been planning on moving in together for a while now and the only thing that's stopping us is my parents. I'm 18 and he's 23 and they are completely okay with the age gap they prefer it actually but the issue is they think we should get married before we move in together. We both agreed marriage isn't a necessary thing in our eyes (if that makes sense) we don't want to get married just to move in together. But if didn't get married before my parents would completely disown us...I am still planning on moving out but what do I tell them? |

Question: Fake email address led to fake website on my spam box? Posted: 20 Oct 2016 07:20 PM PDT The email address is the same email address as a friend of mine, was in my spam box. I clicked on it and it was to share a link to a music thing. Well, you know how emails go " @yahoo.com, @ hotmail.com " This one was like " @sandci.com" I googled the email address and then clicked on one of the links that showed on google search and it was my friends website, but it was all " !@^^$)$#@)*) " type of stuff and not actual words... On the email that got get to my spam box, it was send out to several other people whose emails I recognize and are legit email addresses that I've personally emailed before. Is this going to put some sort of bug on my computer ? I didn't give any personal information, it never asked anything of me, but it was a fake email address... |
Posted: 20 Oct 2016 07:01 PM PDT When my husband & I previously got pregnant I told him how alone I felt seeing other wives with their husbands & me alone. He agreed to go to all apts but only made 1! Temporary birth control device accidently sterilized. Doing IVF with donor eggs now. He again agreed to do all apts but came to only 1, won't give me the shots or help after but I can't because can't reach myself. Says "it makes him uncomfortable". After apts, he's disinterested in what happened. Often refers to the embryos as donor's embryos but also ours. To prepare for transfer, shots spike my hormones last 5 days what takes women 3 weeks to make. I feel anxious, emotional, I privately cry often, I feel abandoned, & hurt. I shared this & no response. 2.5 days ago he asked me why 2 items were out & I said someone got them dirty again so put them back in laundry& they did it daily for 6 days. He got mad, yelled, ran out of the room & insulted me. I followed & asked what was up. I apologized 3x saying I did not mean to upset him if sounded curt but he should not insult or disrespect me. He said I deserved it & has barely spoken to me since (just to tell me what he wants me to make for his meals). Tomorrow is embryo transfer, he's supposed to be in room. Cost so far @$40k so blowing it off would be costly. Don't want him there like this but what if anger & hurt keep us from sharing important moment 4ever? My only chance to have another baby but don't want it conceived while feeling this way. He won't talk. He is normally a pretty mellow guy, but being left alone for the IVF stuff (agency, lawyers, donor, dr apts) all on my own to sort out and do & just have him sign off on really hurts as reminds of last pregnancy. His actions this past week horrible, but we both really want another baby and normally happy couple and family so not sure what to do. I am going through so much physically, emotionally, mentally, & yet he is having a mini-breakdown or fit(?). How do I approach him tomorrow? So far, I have been doing life around the house, as far as he is concerned, as normal (ie cooking, taking care of family, chores), and trying to be affectionate but he is ignoring me & turns his back to me, yet I know he will expect to just walk right into the procedure room like all is ok then keep this up unless I do, say something but what? I can't afford to blow this off ($40k spent & 10mos at this clinic alone) & don't want to escalate things. So far being nice is not softening him. |
Question: My husband is in grad school and trying to have study session with a girl? Posted: 20 Oct 2016 06:20 PM PDT My husband is in law school, he said he wants to have study group. I found out through facebook post by him saying he is looking for study buddy and a girl replied. They were discussing to set a time to have study session on facebook. I confronted my husband that I do not feel comfortable that he is going to have one on one study session with some other girl. He got upset and defensive, saying stop stalking me on facebook... My husband is so naive and nice to everyone. Am I too jealous? |
Question: Been married 8 years, I guess I'm happy? Posted: 20 Oct 2016 06:09 PM PDT but my husband says I need to sleep in another room and use downstairs bathroom. He says he doesn't want to smell my farts or my bathroom smells. He said how is he supposed to get erection when I smell like an animal and not a real woman. should I test trial other bedroom? |
Question: People blame alcohol for the fact they cheated, why? Posted: 20 Oct 2016 06:08 PM PDT People use the excuse that, "oh I was drunk, I didn't know what I was doing" and all that bs. Drunk actions are sober thoughts. In my opinion you wanted to cheat, but you were scared. Being drunk, all it does is make you care less and do stuff wouldn't dare to do but want to do while you're sober. |

Question: My husband wants drive as a owner operator how does he go about doing it? Posted: 20 Oct 2016 05:08 PM PDT |
Posted: 20 Oct 2016 04:53 PM PDT I got married to my ex bf, we both broke up five years back when he moved to the UK for further studies. i worked and worked here in the country and became a self made women. We were only in touc on skype that too very less often, He came back and asked me out, considering the family and decent standard of living and freedom to make a career and go to work, thinking all this i said yes. I put the proposal in front of my family, if they like it, we can go ahead otherwise no problem at all! evenuatlly everyone liked them as they spoke good words and did all the marriage rituals properly and helped us during the marriage financially as i do not have a father and there were not many savings for the marriage. Now marriage happened, however, my husband did not find a job for a long time. He spent the whole of initial 3 months in depression and did not leave any spark in the relationship. Untill he got a job ,He kept making false promises that he would take me out and the marriage would be alot more fun once he starts working, he has started working and nothing has really changed. My mother in law does not like me too much and keeps blaming me or my family(my mother)my grandparents.Keep raising issues. They pick up an issue that why did my parents not give the money during marriage(which is not true, my parents took cash on the ring ceremony to to give them however they did not take). me and my husband fight a lot, there is no sex, he has premature ejaculation. there is no connect |
Posted: 20 Oct 2016 04:46 PM PDT There is this guy whose wife works with my husband and we have become friends since they both work long hours because of the type of job they have. About a week ago we kissed, we didn't mean for it to happen but it just did. But we kissed again a couple of times just yesterday when we got together for lunch. We didn't do anything else and I do like him but I don't want things to go further since I don't want to really cheat on my husband. But have I already cheated? Is kissing someone a couple of times considered cheating? |
Question: Should I tell him I'm pregnant? Posted: 20 Oct 2016 04:37 PM PDT Ok, I really need someone's advice as I can't discuss this with my family or friends. Basically I was dating a guy and two months after we had broken up, I discovered I'm pregnant... What complicates things even more is that guy is like 4 years younger than me (I'm turning 25 in 4 months and he's only 21- biggest mistake of my life) and he's in college (medical school) I've decided not to have an abortion, raise the child alone and keep it a secret forever. Besides a child can grow up without a father in his life, there are many women who are successful single mothers (it would be pretty embarassing for the kid to have an much older mother than a father. He's dating someone else right now anyway I don't need financial aid to raise my kid from anyone, I'm independent. What shall I do? |

Question: Does is annoy you when your spouse posts facebook selfies? Posted: 20 Oct 2016 04:18 PM PDT Would it annoy you if your spouse posted a lot of selfies on Facebook and men she knows like them or comment on them? She also posts things she does for her kids but leaves out the fact everything you do for her kids on Facebook and they aren't even your kids they are her kids and her exes? Would it be like a slap in the face? |
Question: Guys would you be cool with this? Posted: 20 Oct 2016 04:16 PM PDT Your wife had children with her ex. She allows her ex to come over to her house while you are no there to see his kids. He doesn't take his kids on the weekends and only see them for short periods of time. He can't be alone with his kids unsupervised for legal reasons so he chooses to come over to his ex wife's please and hang out with his kids there. Would you be cool with that? |

Posted: 20 Oct 2016 03:51 PM PDT Does anyone know if this is legal or what I need to do...? I am incredibly overwhelmed and my house is just a disaster plus my teenager who refuses to go to school and is now doing online school is home all day alone. I would ask her to do 20 hours of work per week like cooking meals. laundry and general cleaning and organization... Can I do this? She was in a very abusive situation and needs a place to live while she gets back on her feet. I would also support her in getting a job or going to school ... whatever she wants to do... Thoughts? |
Question: Special things to do for wife on wedding anniversary? Posted: 20 Oct 2016 03:23 PM PDT |
Question: If you were the mistress, would you tell his wife? Posted: 20 Oct 2016 02:57 PM PDT Assuming two things: 1. It's a long term affair (not a one-time thing). 2. You don't know the wife and the wife doesn't know you. Why or why not? Wives, would you want to know if your husband was cheating on you long-term by the mistress herself? *TO BE CLEAR!* I am not a mistress, nor am I the wife (but I am a wife to someone!) So I am not asking for advice here - just simply curious about what people think on this matter, considering the vast majority of questions in M&D are related to infidelity. |
Question: Should I leave my boyfriend after almost two years? Posted: 20 Oct 2016 02:43 PM PDT When we met I thought he was everything I wanted. I left my husband for him. But he refuses to move out of his mom's apartment with me & it's been two years. So I live with him and his mom and my children and his uncle aunt and cousin. And with so many ppl in place you can imagine the drama.& money is not the problem he make good and I work and make pretty good. And there's other things he talks to other women and askes them out at our job and he still texts other women he goes out he ha me blocked on his Facebook and won't give me his phone number and when I try to talk about it he gets mad and says I'm crazy he never wants to go out with me even if I offer to pay. He can't kiss me he won't hug me or even say he loves me. I thought he would change but I see he won't. He talks to everyone but he won't say a word to me all day until I speak to him. He doesn't like me going anywhere. He don't speak to my kids at all and won't even eat at the table with them. He wants them to first then go to their room then he'll come down stairs to eat. His mom's two cars are in my name and her insurance and so is his car because neither of them has legal papers to get anything in their names. & still I don't have access to any of those cars. He doesn't care if I cry or about how I feel. I feel like I'm just ignored all the time. All I ask for is for him to spend time with me and to act like he loves me. He's so cold hearted I don't even ask him for money I pay my part in the rent & my bills. |
Question: What's the best way to meet my future wife in the professonial world? Posted: 20 Oct 2016 02:42 PM PDT Listen, Yahoo Answers, I used to play around with you when I was a teenager, but now I'm a young man building his career and going to school in New York City. I can't afford sloppy answers. Therefore, I ask that only mature and professional people answer me. Thank you. When one has spent enough time mingling with the middle aged professionals who run this city, one cannot help but feel that they are mostly married. A single man is suspicious in the world of business. People take him less seriously. A man looks more distinguished if he has a wife or fiancé or girlfriend. Especially if she is also a young professional. Picture it. Going to a networking event in the Rainbow Room at 30 Rockerfeller. I'm there by myself with some people way older than me all with their wives and husbands talking about weekend plans and bonuses. I'm drinking a Gibson alone and just smiling casually like an idiot. That doesn't look good. No sir. That is why I am looking for a young woman to start a relationship. My clients can't take me seriously as a bachelor, and plus if you have a girlfriend, it improves your networking, other couples like you more, you get more invitations, etc... Am I ridiculous? Yes I am, But then again, I'm trying to be taken seriously and not be some sulking loser who does things by himself. Life is not about finding yourself, life is about creating yourself. And I have a pretty good objective in front of me. Now, how do I get there? |
Posted: 20 Oct 2016 02:31 PM PDT My best friends wife died off complications during child birth. The baby was stillborn as well. He lost everything that day and of course it struck him very hard. back then it was just me and him and we weren't boring men in their 30 with jobs and families. After she died he was depressed for a long time. I was worried he was going to take his life. The second year me and him went on a year long backpacking trip. Where I actually met my future wife. It was one of those find yourself trips. I think it really helped far more than being at home. Since then it has become like a tradition that on the anniversary of her death we see each other. We get drunk, we toast, we cry and we do our best to move on. But this year I couldn't make it. I feel really bad because I know that he was alone at that night. I remember the first year when he actually had a gun. Not that I think he would do anything like that now but I still feel bad for missing it. I need to make this up somehow but I don't know how. I feel like a $hitty friend but life just got in the way. Job, kids, wife and all of that. You know how it is? |

Question: I need advice or someone's honest opinion.? Posted: 20 Oct 2016 02:25 PM PDT I need advice or someone's honest opinion. I dont have friends well i do have some friends from childhood but as i grew older the more we haven't spoke. So I'm seeking answers from yahoo. Okay here's my deal. I've been with my husband for 3 years married for 1 year. We separate 5 months after getting married after. We recently got back together about 6 months ago. During this time he lost his job. We are living with his grandparents for the time being. We have a house which they brought for us but nothing is on (like lights, water, etc) in the house. My problem is that he's not looking for a job. He will sit at the computer all day and all night playing video games but wont fill out any application. When i bring the face up about him not looking for a job it starts an argument. He says he doesn't need me to be his mother and id i dont believe in him he doesn't need me. We dont have any children together but i have 2 from my previous marriage. A 4 year old son and 10 year old daughter. I'm joining the military soon just finished meps and waiting for my ship date. I'm not sure what to do about my marriage. I love him dearly but i'm confused. |

I said- never again. He changed his number and I can't get a hold of him even if I wanted to. Well recently he ordered a package, had it sent to the house. The receipt had his phone number on it.. I just put it up, thinking he'd ask our son about it. He never did. Why would he do tbis? I'm not going to call, cause he went to the trouble of changing his number and I don't want to call. I'm just curious as to why he'd send it to the house.. thanks |
Posted: 20 Oct 2016 01:01 PM PDT My husbands ex wife is a stay at home mom. She was during their marriage as well. They have three boys: a 9 year old, 8 year old and 6 year old. She is remarried with 2 additional babies at home. All of my husbands kids are now in school. We live in the same school district yet we were informed by a lawyer that we could probably win joint custody however his child support would go up as he has been promoted since the divorce and she is still not working. How is this okay? |

Question: Wives, when your husband goes out of his way to do something nice for you? Posted: 20 Oct 2016 09:21 AM PDT Do you actually put a conciseness effort into finding every possible flaw into what he's done? Say he spent a few hours outside in sub-freezing temperatures, because you were in the mood for some BBQ'd food, but then, he melted the cheese on your cheeseburger too much... would you make a point of making gagging sounds and telling the kids they won't like that, because you don't? BQ: or is your husband so hen-pecked that he'll just keep his mouth shut, and do whatever you tell him? thanks in advance, and if you do, tell your husband "welcome to my Hell". |
Question: How are arranged marriages more successful than love marriages? Posted: 20 Oct 2016 09:15 AM PDT Arranged marriage: you're marrying someone you just met. Arranged marriages rarely end in divorce, while love marriages have a 53 percent chance of ending in divorce (in the u.s.). Why/how are arranged marriages more successful than love marriages? |

Posted: 20 Oct 2016 08:52 AM PDT So I found out he had a little side tumblr that's all just reblogs of porn gifs, from what I saw. I didn't look very long. I'm just wondering how you would all feel about him making his display pic a picture of his penis. Should I be mad, or does it not really matter? Tia! |
Posted: 20 Oct 2016 07:44 AM PDT I'm divorced. We have a 50/50 custody schedule, but my son prefers to spend time with me most of the time. Yesterday was her day with the kids. I received a text from her while I was at work telling me that he took the school bus home to my house instead of hers, like he should have. I'm at work. Nothing I could do at the time. I get home at 5:40 and ask him why he did it and he says he wanted to get some things from my house. He claims he texted her ahead of time and she never responded. My commute home was 45 minutes. I was tired and wanted to detox before hopping back in the car. My ex moved 9 miles away from our marital home. I text her that he is watching tv and I'll leave to bring him home in half an hour. She calls me and jumps me saying it's her night with him. Tells me I'm unbelievable. I dont know how I'm at fault. She coukd have come and gotten him sooner. |

Question: Husband constantly gropes me, wants sex all the time? Posted: 20 Oct 2016 06:01 AM PDT I am with my husband two years, married one, We have had a volatile relationship since we met but we love each other dearly. As much as I love him, lately I feel i can't breathe with him.. he is always around me and wanting sex- most mornings, every night, when out sometimes he'll follow me into the public bathroom and even now i cant have a shower in peace the only break i get is when i am in work, Dont get me wrong I love him and want to please him but its constant, im exhaused! On top of this he is really jealous, more than I thought, for example: The other day when i got back from a day with my friend, I had a Starbucks coffee, The guy who served me wrote ' You're Gorgeous x :)' on the take away cup, As i was still drinking it when i got home I had honestly forgotten about the writing but my husband spotted it and freaked out, again. After yet another argument just to p!ss him off i stupidly said that 'maybe the Starbucks guy wouldnt be as insecure with me like he is', This triggered him and he threw the cup at the wall, Grabbed my chin, put his head level with mine and told me to behave myself. We are okay now but his reaction annoyed me, My best friend always says that his fear of losing me is so intense that he'll end up pushing me away. Is there any truth to that? I love him so much & i know i shouldnt complain but he's driving me crazy. How do i handle this? |
Question: What am i going to do? Posted: 20 Oct 2016 05:16 AM PDT I have come to conclusion with my husband that its time for us to have our own place by next year but as of now he still doesnt have a job and everytime i try to tell him he needs to get one he says im stressing him out. The thing is he does apply for them and make phone calls but not as much. I feel like hes not serious about finding a job or moving out and i cant keep paying bills by myself while living with him and his mom i want to move out but i want to move out alone. |
Question: Should I marry a guy who has been married before? Posted: 20 Oct 2016 04:01 AM PDT He's 31 and I'm 24. He got married when he was 21 and says it was a mistake, it only lasted 1 year and they got divorced. He says they had a big wedding and gave me details about it. Its bothering me to know he has already experienced the whole thing, the whole wedding, the honeymoon, the first time, everything with someone else and it will be MY first time but not his. Please don't say I'm immature for feeling this way, lots of people go through this. Its important to me. Please ease my mind about this :( By first time I don't mean sex, I mean first marriage. |

Question: I don't know what to think or feel anymore? Posted: 20 Oct 2016 01:22 AM PDT Husband went from construction work to maintenance position in a major hotel now he no longer tells me about his day, he goes in half hour early, doesn't Come home lunch anymore. He won't talk about it all he does at home is eat shower and sleep even on weekends. What is going on? |
Posted: 19 Oct 2016 11:43 PM PDT My spouse, constantly negatives everything i do positive-at the moment he acts happy-not always shown with sincerity.. for ex: when I began college, he wasn t sincerely happy-but he told everyone. When I completed my degree requirements, I would say I have a degree (whenever he questioned my intelligence) and he would say "you don t even have it yet, u haven t even graduated". (Basically because I didn t have the diploma in hand I didn t deserve to say I had a degree). When I received my diploma, I expected or wished he would celebrate with me by taking me out- I earned that degree through blood sweat and tears-having two small babies-but he didn t do anything special for me although he knew it meant a lot to me as a first generation grad. Now that I have my diploma, when we get into arguments about his poor communication skills-today when I said how ridiculous it is that every time I want to talk he locks himself in a room-causing me to yell behind a door to be heard on top of his voice- he said "your no better, all u have is a degree on me, besides that you don t have ****". I cant help but feel he feels bitter towards my accomplishments. What do you think? Unfortunately, I can not express much and add why I say he has poor communication skills- i think being disrespected, called names, mocked, left, ignored, every time i express my feelings, or walked out on puts me in a good position to say he has poor communication skills at the least. He insults my intelligence when I give adivice to him about things I have studied enough to know, and he tells me I am not in a position to give advice, I remind him I have a degree in that field. So please don't get the impression that I'm like " oh u suck at talking, look at me I have a degree" No. But I have seen him roll his eyes when I've graduated, when my diploma arrived his energy was off, and the lack of not celebrating made me question his sincerity more , and the comment of "besides me having a degree, i don't have **** on him" also made me feel there's an issue of sincerity. His mother also refused to congratulate me after the fact she said I have nothing to show . |
