Question: Is it wrong to have my friend in my wedding as a groomsmen when I was his best man? Posted: 29 Oct 2016 10:37 PM PDT Him and I have been great friends for a long time and we still are but since his wedding a couples years ago we have not really hung out alot. In fact, this year we have hung out maybe twice. We still text a lot but now he has a kid and the chances of hanging out now are slim to none. It was a tough decision for him because at the time he was stuck between me and our other good friend so it meant something for him to pick me. I have grown so close with other friends over the past couple years but i dont want him to take it the wrong way. |
Question: How to tell mom I'm getting married at 18? Posted: 29 Oct 2016 07:53 PM PDT Me and my boyfriend and both 17. We are in a long distance relationship sadly. But we love eachother very much and he always talks about wanting to marry me and having a future with me. We're both set on it. I've never felt this way about a guy before. When we're 18 we plan on getting a marriage certificate and later on in life having a ceremony possible since we would not be able to have one as of the age of 18. We wouldn't be able to financially afford it but we still really want to get married. I also wanted to talk to my mom about possibly letting him live at the house once we are married temporary until we can save up and find a place together. He's willing to pay rent and take a bus to work and so am I. How should I talk to my mom about this? I'm so scared. But nothing is changing my mind about the marriage. |

Posted: 29 Oct 2016 07:41 AM PDT I am living with my fiance. My side of the family is pretty religious and some can be judgmental. I have been sending out Christmas cards to cousins and they have been sending them back. My one cousin s daughter s son got married. It is a tight community and a small town and religious. I live in a different town (probably a good thing) but in the same state. Every year I have gotten a Christmas card from this cousin on a consistent basis. This past year, no invite to the wedding and no Christmas card. It was quite obvious what happened. I then heard through the family grapevine it was because I am living with my fiance, that I or my fiance were not invited to the wedding and hence not sending out a Christmas card because it contained a picture of the wedding. Funny, because their daughter got pregnant before she got married and that seems to have been forgotten. Sigh. So, I guess I should cross this cousin off my Christmas list. Wouldn t you? |
Question: Relationship help? I am living with my Fiance's Dad and don't know why to do.? Posted: 24 Oct 2016 07:18 PM PDT My fiance and I have been living with his dad since January (we ran into money issues). I am so ready to get out and get our own place. His Dad can be very hard to live with and I have little patience. He wants to wait until next summer to save as much as possible and I agree. But I just don't know how much longer I can handle it. Any advice? |
