Question: Is this a reason to call DCFS? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 02:19 PM PDT So I live with my mom I'm 15 and we're struggling we're kinda broke but, our water had been cut off for almost a year we have to poor water in a bowl and warm it up to wash up and yesterday our power got cut off and we're the only people on the block w/o water and it's kinda of embarrassing, I'm tired of this life it's crappy.
Question: I'm a ex drug dealer and I feel bad for it? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 01:52 PM PDT Don't judge me. Please listen. My family struggles for money and I sometimes put $200 every now and then into thier bank accounts. I hear them wondering about how they got the deposit randomly. They don't even know it's me the one giving them money. I told them it was probably a reward for being with the same bank for so long and they believe me. I also leave money inside their cars for gas money and other things too. They don't even know the money is coming from me. I stash it along with their other cash to trick them into thinking they have more money than they thought. I'm basically tired of this life style. I have so much money but I don't know what to do with it I can't even spend it. I don't sell drugs anymore but I still have a lot of money due to the things I did when I was younger. I wanna go back to school and become a teacher or something. I feel useless. I really want to just throw all this money away but I can't because my family needs it I had to do what I had to do in order to make sure my family was taken care of I'm 22 years old and I'm the youngest. I still live at home and I applied to a local community college to go to school for teaching. My question is that I don't know what to do with all of this money. It's $50k dollars more or less and it's hidden inside the wall of my room but I don't go crazy spending it I only spend $100 or so per week just for gas and my food. Please help.
Question: FAMILIES IN AFRICA are doing bad. do you feel sad? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 01:42 PM PDT FAMILY- FAMILIES IN AFRICA ARE hungry, poor, starving, need quality clothing, a quality house, cars, and everything. families across Africa seem very divided and cant remain stable. even the most basic needs cant be meet. The outside world view of families in Africa is poor and there seems to be little care to indeed reverse such trends.
Question: How can I move out by the time I'm 19 years old ? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 01:25 PM PDT So basically I come from a pretty well off family. My college tuition is pretty much completely paid for by my grandparents and my parents. I'm a senior in High school and my goal is to move out right after I graduate. The major problem is this: My parents pay for every necessity i have. The car I drive is owned by them completely. They pay for the gas and insurance. My phone is completely payed for by them as well. I have a job working for my dad which pays me $9/hour but I don't enjoy it whatsoever so I'm probably gonna end up working a new job at minimum wage or $8. My parents are very strict and extremely conservative catholics. I can deal with my Dad fine because he isn't bad. But my mom knows that I can't stand her and the sole reason is because of her irrational ways of doing everything involving me. Long story short, she's extremely overprotective. Most likely because I'm her last child and she doesnt want to lose me so she's hanging on. Basically, I just need to get the **** out my house and I have no clue where to start and I dont know what to do because Im afraid that if I do move out my parents will just be like okay kiss bye bye to your Car and to your phone then, and get your own. I want to be an adult but truly Im still a kid and this **** scares me because Idk what to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Sorry if this is difficult to read as well
Question: Who deserves the room and how should my parents ask my sister to give up the room? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 12:58 PM PDT My younger sister has a room twice the size of mine. I really want her room and my parents think I should get it, but they know my sister will think they hate her if they ask her to switch. We're only one year apart btw. My parents and I think I should get the room because I have more stuff and she doesn't obey the rules of having the bigger rulesl. I just want to know who you think should get the room and if I should get it, how could we ask her the switch?
Question: I can´t talk with my mother without she thinking I´m drunk? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 12:49 PM PDT I´m 17 and a year ago I drank pretty much all summer which screwed up our relationship.. Now I can´t talk to her about real things because she just thinks I´m drunk. She even bought a breath analyzer.. which I blowed green at. What should I do?
Question: How should I interact/treat my hall sister? Meeting her for the first time.? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 12:47 PM PDT My half sister (dads side) from Canada is moving in with us and she only knows how to speak French and barely knows English. I know a little bit of French, but I'm not sure how to interact with her without making it awkward. Help please?
Question: Family isn't doing super great, what do I do? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 12:32 PM PDT Hi. I'm a college student. I don't currently live with my family (dorm). My parents have been arguing on and off for years now. Mom and Dad had a really serious argument the other day (like terrifyingly screaming near violence horrible), and they're not on speaking terms right now (ha, understatement). My sister and I are pretty sure they're going to divorce soon. That's not the issue, we've known that for a while. But my younger sister is stuck in the middle of all this, and I'm too far away to give her support. If there's a way to mend my family, great, I'm all ears, but she's my current priority. Is there anyway I can help her? Thank you in advance, and sorry for the overload of information.
Question: Is my boyfriend being selfish? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 12:28 PM PDT My boyfriend has a 5 year old daughter from his previous marriage whom he has custody of. He wants me to mov win with him but I am having second thought because -where he lives is an hour drive from where I work -I know no one out where he lives -His daughter does not listen a lot of the time and when I try to discuss parenting with him he says I am over reacting - HIs house is very big and expensive whereas where I live now is super cheap and affordable He is refusing to consider moving because his daughters school is right around the corner and she likes her school a lot. Also the mother of his daughter lives 5 minutes away even though she's an addict and cannot be around her daughter unsupervised and is also unreliable about seeing her kids. -HIs ex will also come and go form his house as she pleases whenever she feels like seeing her daughter. When I discussed not wanting to live there because it is not convenient for me he wouldn't even consider moving even though he can barely afford where he is living now and he is expecting me to contribute to the bills even though it is not near anything in my life (my work, family, friend, etc) Is he being selfish?
Question: I think my dad is abusive, is he? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 12:24 PM PDT My dad straight up tells my sister to steal from me, forced me to clean up by slapping me and stepping on my leg, slammed me on the floor, and slapped me multiple times. And this is when my mom is not here, but even if she is, my dad makes up these excuses. I m not ok at all...I don t like this. Aside from that, school is very frustrating for me and I have anger problems. I feel like my life is worthless and I want to kill myself, but I won t. Also, My mom is the only one nice to me. I tried to call my mom but she wouldn t answer me. What do I do?

Question: Cousin kissed my neck??? Why? Creepy? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 12:01 PM PDT So I was visiting my family in a different country and I hadn't seen them in a long time. My cousin was there not really talking so I was being friendly and we started talking about music and video games and stuff and he started loosening up. He started coming over everyday only really talking to me. He started tickling me and I saw him sneakily taking pictures of me I saw one of me looking at someone else talking then he grabbed his phone so I couldn't delete them. He would get annoyed if I didn't give him all of my attention and wouldn't talk to me the rest of the day. And sometimes someone wanted to change seats with him and he was acting like a child so I would change seat and he seemed so annoyed. But one day as him and his mom were leaving he gave everyone a quick kiss on the cheek and waited until him mom said goodbye to everyone too and came over to me and gave me this look like trying to be seductive or something. He hugged me very tight and gave me about 3-4 kisses on the check and the gave me a few kisses on the neck and was sniffing me. It crept me out and he started coming over every day and doing that. Eww i don't know why he was doing that. Am I being dramatic and missread the situation? I know every country is different but over there it's not something you do to just anyone. Just a quick kiss on the cheek is normal. I'm 19 he's 18 just a few months younger
Posted: 12 Oct 2016 11:47 AM PDT Hypothetical question. Someone is 17, and they have not had a birthday party or even got to celebrate their birthday since they were 8 years old. Because their parents thought they were too old for birthday parties and doing something on their birthday at 8. Yet this person has a 23 year old cousin, her parents throw her birthday parties every year and have since she(23 year old) was a 1 year old. The 17 year old's parents tell him that he is too old, and that birthday's are really just worthless and unimportant, yet his parents go out every year, buy themselves a cake and celebrate every year for their own birthday and for their friends own birthday's. Why are they contracticing themselves? How old is too old? What do you think? Does it make the person spolied since he feels left out and wants to experience it too? It's not just about a party, they won't even let me celebrate my birthday... at all
Question: How to react to death threat? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 11:36 AM PDT I was in school today and we were supposed to have an important test. This girl who I used to be friends with me walked behind me and said she would cut me all up and kill me cutting off my head etc. She said it twice and her eyes looked maniac and she looked serious. I told her friends but they played it off as a joke. I wanted to knock her out it wasn't even funny. How to react to it? We used to be friends until I became suicidal and left her because I didn't want her to get involved with my problems. She took it the wrong way and holds a grudge on me... but that was ages ago it's in the past... sometimes she says compliments to me but suddenly starts to insult me... At first I thought she meant it as a joke because she didn't want to have the test. But she repeated herself and said that she would seriously do it if I told the teacher about it.

Question: Did I really screw up asking my ex husband for help? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 10:13 AM PDT I work in computer sales and it has been a very rough year with the bad economy. I finally got a large order. I delivered the computers and installed them. I suddenly had a problem. One of the programs that the customer needed would not work. I tried everything I knew to solve be problem but I could not get it fixed. I called the program's help number but after hours on the phone, they could not solve the problem either. I was in a panic. I badly needed that sale to pay my rent. I called EVERYONE I knew that might help me get the program to work and nobody could help. I was desperate or I would not have did what I did but I called my ex husband who was very knowledgeable in computers for help. He immediately came to help me and solved the problem. I was VERY GRATEFUL for his help. Then I saw he was wearing a wedding ring. I asked him about it and he said he had remarried. I had not talked to him for over a year so I did not know that. I FELT TERRIBLE. I can only imagine what his current wife thought when he told her he was going to help his ex wife with a problem. I apologized to him for what I had done and told him I would apologize to his wife. He said no apology was needed. "I help my friends when I can". Is the best thing I can do is not have any more contact with my ex?
Question: Mom gone very mad please help?! (Please read details!!!)? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 10:11 AM PDT My brother (17 years old) went out with my mom to the gym and when they came back my bro went up to me and his face was very red and it was obvious that he was crying like 2 minutes ago, and he rarely does. he told me that mom has gone mad at him (when she gets this mad, she would start to scream very loud at us and obviously not only that, she would become scary...you can't talk with her at all and there's no way to make her calm down when she gets to that, last time this happened was like 3 months ago) i understand what he means by that though he told me she's only mad at him, and she spoke to me normally yet i felt there's something weird in her and her voice, though i don't think she was feeling the same about him since she's mad at my brother not at me, i really suck at explaining but i really need to know what to do if this goes on or if it happens again...? it might not be as serious as other people's situations but it's still scary when she gets that mad. (my dad wouldn't be home usually when this happens)
Posted: 12 Oct 2016 09:52 AM PDT Her mother has told her to forgive it and go for the sake of her cousins who were kids at the time and innocent in the whole thing (her father is deceased). Two of the four uncles are still living and the other two are deceased. I am going October 29-30 with my grandmother (the one who was hurt but has forgiven) but my mother refuses to because she still hates the uncles for what they did to her Mom. So am I right that this petty or is it worth the grudge? The uncles kept up the mistreatment until the late 1980's and then mellowed but have never apologized or recanted their jealousy (they were jealous of her being favored as the only daughter). So is my Mom petty or worthwhile to keep a grudge against her uncles for mistreating my grandmother in the 1970's and 1980's
Question: I ll be 18, but my parents won t allow me to go to a concert? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 09:51 AM PDT I m 17 right now, but the concert is in 6 months and I ll have turned 18 by then. But because it is on a school night my parents won t allow me to go. The tickets go on sale in a few days and I ll be paying for them out of my own pocket, and my friend is driving. Should I just go anyway?
Posted: 12 Oct 2016 09:46 AM PDT My mother is a grudge holder and she claims to forgive but then avoids many people she holds grudges against (who she says "I forgive, I just dont want to see). These include family. I dont want to fall into the same habit now that I am an adult (Like mother like daughter) so I am wanting to forgive. So what my question is is this. If someone is refusing to see a family member then is this a sign they have NOT forgiven (not counting when physical safety is an issue which it is not here).
Posted: 12 Oct 2016 09:35 AM PDT I can see having boundaries but no contact seems immoral even in the worst cases My Mom is immoral in terms of relationships so she distances herself from people on her side of the family.

Question: Dad always calls my brother unmanly and he's moving out. I'm sad? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 09:30 AM PDT Long story short, I have 2 elder brothers but I like my second brother better because he's more gentle and never bullies me (I'm a girl). But our dad keeps telling us that he's a disgrace to him (my dad) because he does "girly" things like playing cello, reading a lot of and sometimes bakes something with me. Dad said it's okay for me as I'm a girl but for my brother it's like a disease. Dad also compares him to our eldest brother, who's a jerk. Because of this my second brother is going to move to college dorm next term, but it means that I'm going to live with just my dad and eldest brother. I'm 14 now and can't do anything, and sometimes I feel sooo angry about this situation that I'm tempted to leap down the bridge just to make my dad feels sorry. He makes my favourite brother leave us but never scolds my eldest brother when he's calling me names. I feel like the unluckiest girl in my class. Others have nice family and I'm dealing with jerks. I know this isn't a real question but I need to let this out.

Question: Should I be mad at someone about this? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 09:16 AM PDT I usually stand by our front door and my husband gives me a kiss as he leaves for work. This morning my mom was standing there with me as my husband was going to work. He gave me a kiss and mom said laughingly "My turn next" so my husband gave her a kiss on the cheek also. I was slightly embarrassed, Mom was surprised and though it was the funniest thing ever. Should I be mad at Mom, my husband, both of them or nobody? Wives, please give me your opinion.
Question: I crashed my dad's car against the side of the garage, what to do?!? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 08:18 AM PDT While practicing driving by myself, I decided to go into the really small parking spot in my garage (good enough for a sedan but tight for an SUV). While backing out I accidentally hit the side of the garage without knowing (it still works, I'm thinking about glueing the broken parts together?), and broke the side and bottom front of his car. It's not totally noticeable except for the side that is pretty wobbly and broken and has some paint on it, but that is on the passenger side and I intend to get the paint off somehow (the car is black and the paint is white). I am less than two weeks away from being able to get my temporary license; what should I do, should I tell my parents? If so, what should I say and how should I act. I feel terrible about this.
Question: Should I be worried about this guy ? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 07:53 AM PDT My cousin started dating this man over the weekend when we were on vacation. She brought him home with us. Hes nice but also strange. He's from Nashville he's never heard a country song in his whole life until on the way home she mad home listen to her iPod he likes country now. He grew up listening to classical music and rock. He's way too old for her. She's 23 almost 24. He's 36 almost 37. His birthday is the same month as hers. He likes to wear his tuxedo everyday and his hat. He's also rich he's got more money than we do. He's also a sex addict he said he's getting a little better. I stil think he's a little weird. My cousin really likes him. Should I be worried about him ?

Question: My aunt constantly asks me about school but I haven't started yet. Advice? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 07:50 AM PDT She asked me this morning but I am trying to get my stuff together to start the pharamcy tech course online. Most people that became pharamcy techs didn't even go to school (or at least where I live). They act like that I have to get a 4 year degree but then I would be $20k+ in debt. Why do certan members of the family constantly ask me about education but yet do not know the requirements of certain programs? I know that they care but whatever I don't get from grants and scholarship I would have to borrow and they act like borrowing money is a bad thing.
Question: Can someone love you but still tell you to die? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 07:48 AM PDT My mom does it everyday. It's quite sad actually and when I try to get help, people believe that she genuinely does love me. I mean... put me out of the equation because I truly hate her with a passion. I'm stuck with her though, and if there is a tiny chance that maybe she doesn't hate me as much as I hate her, I want to try to explore it and use it against her. If she in reality actually cares about me, then she is sending mix signals and causing me to believe that she despises me. I want to take a chance and use her caring side against her if there is any. She seems very affectionate with my siblings, and perhaps I don't fit the bill. But if she cares at all, that needs to be exploited and used. I want to break her like she constantly depresses me. I am an void of all emotions today. Unable to express any emotions and maybe even feel and while she could have helped me she made me worse. I was already traumatized and she added to it. So Yahoo Answers, can you love and care about someone you explicitly tell to go die on a regular if not daily basis without saying it was a joke or you didn't mean it?!
Posted: 12 Oct 2016 07:46 AM PDT No one likes me because of who my Dad is but if they see me they are tolerant and say hello. My mother died and I went to live with my Dad as a kid and that is why her side of the family treats me as 2nd rate.

I don't want my parents knowing that I'm going to LA. Yes I know I need to move out of my parents house and I'm working on it. However me being the only child my parents aren't going to want me to live alone. Even though I am almost 30 (I'll be 30 in April). They have protective over me. I do work and I am going to college I'm taking a trade for Dental Assisting which is for a year. After I plan to get my own place but that will just be another issue. My dad and I were arguing this morning and he told me that I better let him know about all my plans. Or I'm not going anywhere. Is there anyway I can keep them from finding out I'm going to LA? |

Question: What will happen? What do I do? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 06:21 AM PDT So I was exercising, I heard my little 2 years old sister crying, I ran out and went to the room she was there, she was with the nanny, I thought that she was just crying like this but when I came nearer I saw blood everywhere, It was in the bathroom, on the floor, on the cloth everywhere! I was shocked because it was so much blood, I asked them what happened and the nanny and my brothers said that she fell on the plate and the cup it broke and it cut my sister hand like one inch. But the blood didn't stop, my sister's face turned yellow. I called my mother and she came and took my little sister to the hospital, the doctors closed her wounds. She came back but I am really worried about her, she lost so much of her blood. I even heard my mother saying that she doesn't know what will happen to my little sister, she said that she may die tomorrow or after tomorrow. I am really worried after I heard her saying that.

Posted: 12 Oct 2016 06:10 AM PDT My husband hates it but to help my stepchild (4yrs) when they miss their mom I started helping him make a gift for her for Christmas. I thought it might be helpful since coming here is starting to become difficult for the little one because they miss being with mommy. Like, of course... I know I was like that with my mom and I never had to be away from her . I thought it was a good idea... What do you think or any other ideas? |
Question: Is it all my fault or just nature taking responsibility? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 05:46 AM PDT I started new job which is on the exact same road that my brother in law works on. He said why don't we share rides to save gas and such, so now we've been riding together for a few months, but he does all the driving, yesterday he took me out for breakfast and then kissed me when dropped me off, I didn't sleep at all last night thinking of him, my sister isn't nice to him but I'm not as pretty as my sister is, can I have him as a boyfriend/husband?
Question: A question about my little brother, my aunt and me are watching him? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 05:31 AM PDT whehn my mom is in hospital for drugs, I see my aunt playing with my brothers privates, she told me to come on in and see how much my brother likes it,,he did like it a lot, then I saw my brother jerking like his fluid would come out for babies but nothing did, what age do boys get it to come out ? it was interesting, happy, even though nothing shot out< my brother did orgasm> happy, I wish you were there, did he orgasm? I looked real close and saw no water or gluey stuff,i think little brother wants to do it again today.
Question: Why does my aunt seem evil? She wishes people harm? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 05:21 AM PDT I was 13 at that time and we are Lebanese my uncle my aunts and my father and my mom. She was from Kuwaiti. All my aunts loved me except for her. She seemed to hate me, my aunts, EVERYONE. She did try to open a conversation with me, which was "Have u ever seen a man eat breast meat and said yum yum yummy?". She has low self esteem, & she is STINGY! I told my mom about this and she said "everyone knows she doesnt make sense". She bullies me A LOT. Like for one week straight. She stares at me a lot too, and she seem happy when I do something wrong and didnt want me to lose weight.
Posted: 12 Oct 2016 04:13 AM PDT Even though my parents are divorcing I still love my Dad but my Mommy is always cutting him down to me. I told her it upsets me but she wont stop. She thinks he loves me less and I need to know the truth but I dont like hearing it. I told my Dad who said I just need to ignore her. I am 14 and upset enough about the divorce (they have lived apart for two years and hate each other). How can I get them to stop and get my Dad to care and see me more?
Question: How do I get my brother to stop hating me and start liking me? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 04:12 AM PDT He hates me because his wife finds me to be a little too nice when I was younger (intrusive) but I am more cautious now. His wife had a very bad childhood so is cold but possibly through no fault of her own (she had a fractured family and was adopted by inner family when older)
Posted: 12 Oct 2016 04:11 AM PDT My mother is very mad her uncle and aunt are not siding against their daughter in her divorce (long story). My mother is on the cousin's soon to be ex-husband's side as the cousin was seeing another guy when divorcing her husband. My mother refuses to see her uncle and aunt when they pass through town and is mad I saw them with my own aunt and cousin. So are parents allowed to side against their children in a divorce?
Question: My Dad is in a manic state and was up all night, is this normal? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 04:06 AM PDT Normal for his condition I mean (he is Bipolar). He is like super happy and excited this morning.

It was a gift thanking her for always being such a great friend, how much I appreciate her for helping in my tough times etc... It was all good. It was a surprise in the mail, I didn't tell her I was sending something. I'm worried she doesn't like it. She hasn't said anything? |

Question: Mom wants to know if she damaged my body image at all. What do I say.? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 03:07 AM PDT My mother has and a long struggle with weight. Her family told her that she was, basically, worthless if she wasn t popular and skinny. Which goes completely against our German build (the way they wanted her to be skinny, anyways). She passed this on to me. I am constantly beating myself up about my weight. And recently I showed her a body positivity video in hopes she would understand and that it would help her. She said "it will take time, I hope I didn t damage your body image. You ve always been beautiful." But she did. How do I tell her that she has damaged me in the same way... but not irreparably hurt her.
Question: I feel so alone part 4? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 03:05 AM PDT The fight started when i asked when IB would be back to with she said a few days I told Mom she said that 3 weeks ago when she was originally meant to be back after 2 days and then we just started yelling at each other didn't last long because my step father broke it up but i honestly didn't care and neither did my mom because she followed me to my room and we yelled some more and I've now locked myself in my room and have just been sobbing and i think ive been little depressed for about 2 years now. i don't want to leave my room, i often think about how i don't want to be 'here', i would love to sleep or cry all day any day and I'm just plain old sad. and what makes it worse is I've been locked my room for 3 hours and I've been waiting for her to come tell me it'll be ok but she hasn't and I've never felt so alone... i feel like a devil child because i let her down but I'm so stressed out and i couldn't help it i just dont want to be handling a 5 year old kid along with my 29 year old sister who also acts like she's 5 but i just want to tell her my feelings and tell me i won't always feel like this, that i won't always be last priority, i just want her to hug me and tell me I'm ok. is that so much to ask? i just also feel like i can't tell her or anyone this... so I'm just here crying feeling sad and alone like i have been Im also so sorry about my rant and I'm sure this is all jumbled up I've been writing this as quickly as i can while crying so sorry also as sad as i am right now I love my family and they love me back its just rough right now -lease don't think I'm being abused or anything like that its just the past years have been a little rocky I'll also be deleting this tomorrow :)
Question: Help?!?!I NEED ADVICE? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 02:52 AM PDT I'm 10, I hate my life, I have countless things wrong with my eyes. I'm in Spanish Emerson and I'm so paranoid that I will get kicked out. My mom is divorced with my dad. My mom yells at me all the time and she always acts like she's stressed, I have turrets, and whenever I do a test or a quiz I pray to God that I don't get a c or a d . I have no friends , everyone at school hates me, I always get in trouble for things I don't do. People, don't encourage me to not kill myself, you wouldn't understand my life. I understand that the kids in Africa are dying , but I barely get fed, my mom has no money and no job, she can barely play the rent for the house and her boyfriend is constantly coming to her house, whenever I'm at home by myself (my mom is busy), I think of all the bad things that could happen to her (like her getting raped or having a heart attack, etc), basiclly delegation anxiety. I watch YouTube to get rid of my problems. I'm a Muslim which I didn't choose, I have to go to my cousins house and I always get kissed risking to get STD or something serious, I get orgasms, my meatus has a tear. I'm Greek from my moms side, and I visit my dad on the weekends, my dad has another life with 2 girls, he barely has time for me . Someone tell me should I kill myself , if not please tell me how I could make life better, I have a therapists (I'm on a prescribed medication) and my mom always says (I HATE MY LIFE) I don't know what to do.
Question: I feel so alone part 3? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 02:43 AM PDT So my other sisters and aunt and my step father (my moms fiancee) have told her to stop babying IB and let her grow the F up but no she still needs to be babied and when she has enough and call IB to yell at her to bring her *** home and take care of her child "But mom don't act so unfair I'm making money so...." then mom answers "then why are you always broke" "because life is hard" and whatever the f*** else excuse she can make up and well we don't see her for another month still broke so i guess now this is current time earlier today me my step father and my mom were going to the movies to see snowden my nephew was already flying of the walls and i tell him to stop. 7. goddamn. times. and what am i greeted with "Amber you can't be mean to him all the time" "you have anger issues" and finally when he starts to scream and run I scream at him to stop and then she has the nerve to tell me to shut up?! like wtf but time skip to after the movie which was already terrible thanks to my nephew, I felt a connection to the main character and when we got home i snapped and we had just moved to a house 20x smaller than the one we lived at before (we did not move of our own will) and lets not forget is a duplex) i got irrated that A) my nephew ran onto the street and B) i busted my *** grabbing him before a car could hit him C) IB is not handling her own kid D)I'm always blamed E)I'm little miss perfect who can't let anyone down so i got into my first huge fight with my mom
Question: I feel alone part 2? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 02:26 AM PDT So that last accordance was not the first or last she's been like that since before i was born whenever i want my moms company or go out with my mom IB either A) wants to come (in which we have to bring the baby B) rush because she ALWAYS has something better to do or c) which honestly is any excuse you can think of but then she meets this buy who is some douchebag music producer or something and she decides 'hey he's rich and thats easy enough let me try' and well thats what she's doing or what she thinks she's doing because as i said her trips to ny last 1-4 months and from what i see she's always partying and besides when she come back she's even more broke then when she left and then she leaves after a week or 2. now my nephew, who I'm so over him at this point he doesnt listen, he doesn't stay still and he cries over everything so yet again I'm put on the back burner with this one so where am i now? I'm long out of mind example with him he right now is 5 and now my sister is 29 in ny somewhere his father (who is a dick) wants to FaceTime with hime so we tell him stop playing xbox and talk to your dad his response "I'm playing video games go away" to me and my mom so i tell him stop or you won't play with it for a week and you'll be on time out he start crying and my mom turns into complete mush "Amber why are you so mean to him" "you have to let a kid be a kid" "thats to much he's so sensitive be aware of his feelings" because god knows I'm always the bag guy.
Question: Why don't parents tell their kids their income? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 02:22 AM PDT im 21 and my parents wont tell me their income. I dont ask flat out, but i beat around the bush to try and get it out of them once a year. The only reason i ask is i am finishing up my senior year of college and would like to know what income i should aim for when im their age (my dad makes really good money). why do parents feel the need to hide their income. i can guess a ball park figure of 200-250k but why cant they tell me. i dont get it. i pay for my own stuff so its not like ill say "you make $xxx why cant you buy me this" or anything and they know that... so why do they do this?
Question: Is this a good plan (moving)? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 02:16 AM PDT Ugh, I really need to move out. The story is that my dad and stepmom got married and moved to my stepmom's house an hour away so I stayed with my grandma (dad's mom) who lives closer to my school and friends, but after four months of living with her I feel so ******* trapped and exhausted. I don't pay rent because she understands my situation which is really nice but, oh my god, I feel so alone and depressed constantly. Anyway, here's the sitch: I have $320 in savings right now. I've saved at least $100 from each paycheck I've gotten since I started my job. I am a casual hire and work anywhere from 4-24 hours a week, making around $10.10 an hour. I'm making about $250 every two weeks from that job, plus some theater stuff I do on the side that is anywhere between $300 and $600 lump sum. I have one of those jobs plus my October bonus coming up, so that should give me another $600 in my savings account think I could use theater as spending money where my retail job is entirely for rent. I have 1 friend (possibly 2 friends if he gets a job) that is willing to move in with me into an apartment next to my community college that is $845 a month. If we get a 3rd person, which is looking more and more likely it would be $935 per month or ~$311 each. I'd like to move over winter break in two months, because that is about as long as I can stand. Will this plan work or am I just being an ignorant, overthinking 18 year old? Any advice is appreciated.
Posted: 12 Oct 2016 02:08 AM PDT Im 16 and my life feels like its in turmoil my oldest sister is a crazy ***** my mom wants to put the weight on the world on her shoulders when we can't handle it and I'm here in my room crying my heart out right now because i blew up basically what i want right now is for someone to hug me and say I'm ok that everything will get better but i don't have that right now and it makes me so sad. my mom is somewhat single (she has the support of all her daughters fathers and currently has a fiancee) and my father is a very stone hearted person who i believe is where i get my perfection complex from and some stone hearted emotions, the reason i say that is because I always have a smile one my face Im very poilite and shy and very early speak out but today i did. So we moved to florida 4 years ago and lived in a nice 3 bed home it was just me and my mom (and fiancee but he's a truck driver) for a few months before my at the time 26 year old sister "IB" came with her 2 year old son and a little after that my sister left to "work" in NY but left us with him she is gone for months at a time and we have practically raised him and quite frankly I'm sick of it because for some reason she's the oldest out of 4 mind you she gets everything she asks IB had a friend of hers stay over and i wanted to go shopping with my mom like she had promised me a week before but IBs friend had a problem so he had to leave. never went shopping that day. I have more i want to get off my chest so ill writept2
Posted: 12 Oct 2016 12:14 AM PDT A boy from my class killed himself on October 10th and it's known that he only had his father and that their financial condition wasn't great. His relationship with his father wasn't so great either, and I'm quite certain that his father will not take part in burying him. What is going to happen now? Can he not be buried?
Question: Parents won't let me sleep over? Posted: 12 Oct 2016 12:01 AM PDT So I'm a 14 year old (male) and my parents never let me sleep over at a friends house. I have asked for many years and they won't give an answer. Do you have any idea why they won't let me sleep over?
