Question: My roommate broke my tablet. He replaced it with a way nicer one. What's going on.? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 05:31 PM PDT This morning my roommate was joking around and tossed a baseball to me, but it broke my tablet. We're in the navy and he's 23 and I'm 18. He went to college and has a higher rate than me, so he's making a bit more money than me too. We're not exactly friends. We don't hate each other but, we are in A-school and we don't get to pick who gets quartered with us. FIrst off, I don't know how much money his family has but it has to be more than most I'm guessing. His dad gave him a brand new Ford Fiesta when he graduated college. His stuff is really nice. My stuff is bargain basement stuff. I was majorly hacked when he broke my tablet. He said he was sorry and I said you're getting me a new one and he said of course he would as soon as he could. I didn't see him in mess this evening and he came in about 2 hours ago and had a bag from Walmart. My tablet was a Polaroid tablet that was under $30 that I got when I was in high school working at CVS and they brought them in for Christmas. He got me a Samsung Galaxy Tab from Walmart. So that's WAY nicer than the one he broke. I was like Dude, you should have gotten one like you broke. He said "Lets just say I guarantee I won't break that one being stupid." So I'm like.... what's going on. Why would someone get replace a piece of crap tablet with a high end one? |
Question: If you think zodiac signs influence personality, then, what sign am I? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 05:15 PM PDT I am quiet. Reserved. Intuitive. Judgmental but keep it a secret. Develop opinions on people very quickly. But I am never honest to their face about it. I fake-nice to them just to stay out of trouble. But when I've had enough I can be very cold. Ambitious. And I overthink. I like to take my time. Too much on my schedule... |
Question: Why do I get so offended easily? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 05:12 PM PDT Whenever people offend me or say I'm wrong I get pissed off and automatically HATEEEEEEEEE them Being around people annoys me. Ugh. I must be a sociopath |
Question: Do you think I am "antisocial?"? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 05:10 PM PDT I am in high school and I have many friends, but they are all in different friend groups, and I don't have my own group of friends. Because of this I am usually only able to go to fun places with just one friend, because I don't have a group I can go with like I used to in middle school. Because of this, I don't get out of the house much, and haven't gone to the state fair and other local attractions. I'm a very outgoing person and have a lot of friends that are spread out everywhere, and I always like being around people, so I feel very lonely right now. I'm basically just waiting for college so I can start over and create my own solid group of friends. I'm also in marching band, so that's the only social thing I really do. Any advice? And what would you describe me as? |
Question: Why don't people talk to me? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 05:09 PM PDT I have plenty of friends at a public school I go to, but everything I go to church for sunday school (Teen Class) no one talks to me or greets me when I enter the room, but if someone else does they greet or shoot their names out in joy. I sit alone, no one to talk to. I try to go talk to them but then it gets awkward, or we have nothing to talk about. I only get to see these people once a week. |
Question: My friend's mom tried to commit suiside, how do I cheer her up? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 04:36 PM PDT Ik I spelt that wrong, but seriously... how? I'm bad with these things, and I don't want to come off as heartless... |
Question: What should I be called professionally? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 04:32 PM PDT My birth name is David, but I've always been known to family & friends as Dave. I've just started a new job, and now am refered to as David in the office. I don't mind this, and actually to me it sounds more more professional than Dave. Would it be odd if I'm known as David professionally and Dave by family and friends? Is there that much difference in the name? |
Question: I don't think the people I call friends like me? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 04:24 PM PDT I know this sounds like some teeny bopper thing, but it's an actual concern of mine. So I have very, very few people I feel comfortable enough around to call my friends. But I've noticed more and more recently that they seem irritated when I'm around. Like I'll get in the car, or come back to the table or something and they'll go silent, when it's clear that they were laughing and talking before. They back out of plans a lot, and try to talk me out of going with them places when i kind of get excited to go. Part of me feels like I'm just being a diva, which is possible at this point. But I still wonder if maybe they're just trying to be nice. I don't want to sound all pity me, but it wouldn't be the first time it's happened to me. I just wanna know what you think I guess. |

Question: How can I make my mom let me talk to my friend again? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 04:07 PM PDT My only friend is online, and my mom is mad at me for not having the straight As she wants. She won't let me talk to my only friend, and I really need to. I've been considering suicide for months, and my friend has stopped me every time. I tried to explain this to my mom and she just said "Then toughen the **** up!" How can I make my mom let me talk to her? I can't make straight As, I can barely make Ds... |
Question: Why does my Best Friend never compliment me? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 04:03 PM PDT I know it might sound shallow or whatever, but I hardly EVER get compliments from her. I compliment her every single day since she is absolutely gorgeous. She's pageant contestant, wants to model and can make every guy fall for her. Especially the ones I like. She's so pretty so I feel like an absolute potato next to her. But it annoyed me so much when one day, she had her hair plaited or whatever and I had forgotten to compliment her so she said "Oh, I haven't got a compliment from YOU today." Like seriously, I hardly get any from her and she's supposed to be my closest friend, people I hardly talk to compliment me more than her! Idk tho, she is really pretty but sometimes I feel annoyed or angry towards her. But then again, this is probably jealousy. :// |
Posted: 17 Oct 2016 03:58 PM PDT Negativity, she would call out players who make a mistake. One of the players in varsity is in their first year of varsity and she makes fun of her when she makes mistakes. Whenever others make a mistake, they would compare her to the girl who is in her first year in varsity. I personally didn t have anything against my coach because i really didn t make my self stand out to be called out on. Today we were lifting weights and my coach noticed me walking and told me I had to don more squats because I did not have a big rear . She explained how the other coaches have mentioned that too. The weight room is always quite so everyone literally heard and started laughing as well as the coach. . I had nothing else but to laugh and agree. Do you Think I m overreacting? I ve been thinking about it all day. My teammates agreed on how rude she was. |
Posted: 17 Oct 2016 03:46 PM PDT I have a friend online that has panic attacks. Bad. Almost daily. And I want to find a way to say "I m here for you" but not just say it like that. Is there a way I can phrase it to show them I really do mean what I m saying? |
Question: Am I overreacting about having no friends at work? I'm sad? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 03:43 PM PDT i work 12 hours straight three days a week at my job. I started my job theee weeks ago so I'm still considered kind of new. There were ten other new people that started with me as well. My thing is that when it's time for break or lunch at my job I sit by myself and eat and use my phone... I don't have friends or buddies to sit with. It's making me sad a little because I'm at work a half a day and no one talks to me... there has been a few people who has talked to me but they go with their friends when it's time for break... even the new people I started with has friends that already worked there... I'm so lonely ther and don't have anyone to talk to , I know I go to work to mainly "work" and make money but to be at a job for half of a day and don't talk is crazy |
Question: Friend was a victim of sexual abuse? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 03:37 PM PDT my best friend (we're both 13 year old girls) just told me she was sexually abused but she doesn't know who did it. she said her brother and her dad were there in her house and she pretended to be asleep and someone touched her down there but she didn't see them. i really want to help her but i've never had anything like that happen to me and i just feel really bad for her. is there any way for me to help? |

Question: Anyone else feel like they dont belong anywhere lol? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 03:32 PM PDT Everyone has turned into social justice warriors, feminists, and these neo-hippie types and are just 24/7 all about shoving every problem in the world down your throats and they all seem like they've just gotten incredibly annoying. I haven't hung out with any of my friends for almost a couple of weeks because i just cant stand the aggravation. One minute we'll be talking about something interesting like music or a movie and all of sudden it gets switched to how "the corporate leaders of the country are keeping us down and we have to stand up for what is right." I just want to spit on them lol and tell them to shut the **** up and quit being a pussy. I'm so aggravated with the way everyone seems to have lost their ability to be a friend and all they know how to do is pretend they are being oppressed. |
Question: Does he go to my school? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 03:26 PM PDT I got out of my class and i saw a cute guy sitting on a bench reading a book. Usually when i get out i see people waiting to get into the class for the class after me. Does that guy have class after me? I like him! Thanks |

Question: How to make people stop saying inappropriate remarks? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 03:16 PM PDT There are two guys in my Geometry class that sit at my table and are pretty amusing until they start making inappropriate remarks. When I tell them to stop they just continue. I don t want to change seats because its pretty boring in math without them. I just want some clever things to say that will shut them up. |
Posted: 17 Oct 2016 02:48 PM PDT So im not trying to be mean or jerkybut i cant stand him cause he acts really weird around me and he guilt trips everyone else in class including me if he doesnt get his way what should i do i dont like people who are trying to act like that if they just engage in conversation and not just make it seem like we are supposed to be best friends on day one than i would accept it |

Question: College care package ideas? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 02:36 PM PDT My best friend (a girl) is having a tough time being away for school. She's a freshman in college. I figured I'd go shopping after my classes today and get some stuff to send her a care package. She said she's sick, so I'm also buying cough drops, Nyquil, and things like that. But I'm looking for ideas for what I could send her to make her feel a little better about being away, since it's being rough on her. Any suggestions? |
Posted: 17 Oct 2016 02:22 PM PDT Ok so I am about to be 15 and one of my cousins best friends who I think is kinda cute is 17 and I would like to talk to him but I feel like it would be weird because he's my cousin best friend and also because he's about to graduate. I've known him for a while bc whenever I was younger (on my mom side my family is REALLLLLY CLOSE ) I would also go to my cousin house all the time and his friend who I think is cute would be their and one time it was just me and my cousin & his sister and my cousin friend home one day and he was trying to make moves on me.. but that was a while ago lol. But like 1 day ago my family had a party (on my mom side) and my cousin & his friend was their and the whole time we kept staring at me and giving me looks but I was ignoring it what should I do??? |
Question: I m an outcast, my life is going downhill and I don t know what to do? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 02:12 PM PDT I m a junior taking part in an online school. After elementary school, I sat in my house in my room doing nothing but playing video games. In middle school I got really bad grades and had to go to a concealer for depression twice. I m now a junior, I haven t done anything in my life, nobody knows me, the "friends" I have say they are there for me, but they never talk to me . I don t know what to do with my life and I m doing really bad in school right now. I have always said to myself things will change but I just end up back in the same position I have for many years: sitting in my room playing video games. Basically, I'm just seeking advice for what to do, I don't want my life to go downhill, but I know it will if I continue down this path, and I don't know how or what to do. I forgot to mention, my parents don't really make an effort to help me "change" I guess is the right word. I've been doing the same things for years (sitting in my room playing video games) and they don't do anything about it so I'm on my own for this one. |
Question: How to make people value you more? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 02:00 PM PDT I always help out people and be there for them when they need me. But they are never there for me. They never ask about my issues and when I struggle they hardly notice until I tell them. My friends keep me as a second option and don't even care that I received a death threat from my ex best friend they didn't even come to check up on me to see if I was altight. They know they're my only true friends in the school they've helped me out with bullying issues. They didn't even care until I told them. They couldn't see how depressed and sad I was that I barely made contact with them.. How to make people value you more? |
Question: Does he not want to be my friend? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 01:59 PM PDT My friend and I hung out with one of her friends a lot ever since I became friends with her. I thought I was friends with her friend too considering that we have been hanging out for a few years. I knew we weren't close, but I thought we would be friendly enough to be friends in school. We're in the same math class this year, but he won't sit by me even though there's two seats by me. My friend wanted our group of friends to be friends with him, but I've been hanging out with my friend and him before he hung out with our other friends. He'll say hi to our other friends in the hallway, but never acknowledges me. I had my friend talk to him and he said he likes me, but I'm too much during first period. My friends think it's no big deal and they don't think he dislikes me, but I find it odd. I'm a very outgoing person, but he's definitely way more outgoing and loud than me and I don't talk much in math. I would understand if he wasn't a loud person, but he is. One of the friends in my friend and I group is also nore outgoing than ne and probably more than him but he'll still acknowledge her. Do you think I'm overreacting or does what he said about ne odd and rude? |
Question: Is this OK to sleep in while staying the night at a friend's? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 01:33 PM PDT I can't sleep in a shirt |
Question: Why do I lie so much? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 01:24 PM PDT I don't even realise that I do it until after, it's like second nature. I've always been a liar, ever since I could remember. I've always been really good at it too, people believe me. I don't necessarily feel bad about the lies, because they aren't like hiding something, they're just small, dumb lies. Like when I'd avoid a friend, didn't do work, ate the last piece of cake, etc. I want to stop though because I don't want to lie and I want to be honest. What do I do? I meant like they don't hide big things like cheating. I'd never do that. |
Question: Did my friend call me Honey Boo Boo to insult me? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 12:41 PM PDT So a long time ago in 5th grade my friend, let's call her Jordan, used to call me Honey Boo Boo. Was she trying to insult me or...? She was the pretty, make-up wearing girl. We aren't friends anymore btw, because we went to different schools when we got to middle school and I didn't like the kind of person she had become. |
Question: Is it stupid that I don't believe in depression? (Hear me out)? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 12:40 PM PDT Everybody that has depression that I've talked to has told me that it is impossible to be positive when you have depression, but they are in control of their own minds, so unless they are going crazy, it's their inability (or laziness) to not get up and go out to look for a reason to live. They stay in the house 24/7 and then want to complain because they have no friends. They are always negative about everything and then wonders why everything goes wrong. If they'd go out and make friends, instead of giving up and sitting in the house until they decide to make a life changing decision, maybe they would get out of the endless cycle that they say they have no control over. I'm not trying to piss people off, but I would like for someone to try and explain to me why they don't do something to make themselves happy instead of sitting around and wondering why a miracle isn't lifting their spirits alone in their house. So why won't people with depression try and find a reason to not be depressed, instead of waiting for one to come to them? And why do they believe that they "can't be positive, and can't help it"? I just don't believe that. Thanks in advanced for the people who will actually be helpful instead of getting mad and cussing me out with no proof that what I said is wrong :) |
Question: How to get revenge on this harassing teacher? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 12:40 PM PDT she won't stop calling my house keeps making up lies to my mom and i'm getting in trouble. she gave me a lunch detention for finishing something late. i hate her. she's being mean and rude on purpose |
Question: A problem with a friend? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 12:37 PM PDT I have this friend we used to be really close until she started putting some distance between us so I confronted her about it and she said it was because of my manic episodes telling me if I changed we will talk again, so I've been trying to change but we haven't talked yet and what should I do? |

Question: Why is my friend acting like this? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 12:27 PM PDT me & my bff (both 22) have been friends for about 16 years. This summer she has changed a lot. First me & my other friend had inviter her to hang. I text her that morning to remind her when we are picking her up. When the time came I asked her if she was ready and no response. So me and my other friend drove to her dorm which is 20 minutes away where we planned to meet her to wait for her outside that maybe she was busy rushing and wasn't looking at her texts. We waited another 30 minutes & still no answer. Then about an hour later she texts us saying sorry can't go because I have to meet my professor. Instead of telling us the night before. Then I invited her to hangout again a week later. She told me if she can't get off work that she will just call in sick so she can still go. The day comes I text her if she is going and no response. Come to find out later that night she went out with her other friends instead. After that I just stopped talking to her. Then she didn't talk to me until August when I got a text saying two weeks I will be leaving for Europe for a year we should hang before I go and I replied ok sounds good. Time has come for her to leave & not once did she bother asking me to hangout. Now she has been there for about 2 months and I haven't heard from her since. She sure still talks to some of my other friends and messages and replies to them on social media but not me. I didn't do anything different to her so I don't know why she is being like this?! Help! |

Question: Was my friend flirting with me? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 12:18 PM PDT Okay so i'm a girl and today my girl best friend in class we were sitting in the bleachers because are class is being remodeled and my friend was touching my knee and stuff and she was looking at my hands a lot and was trying to grab it and it was really weird cause we were with our two other friends and they even noticed it. She has tried to grab my hand before and stuff and was very touch freely but it just felt diffrent today. I made a comment that my back hurt and she was like i'll massage it for you and actually started massaging my shoulder and i had to grab her hand to get her off of me. And then she was like you're so pretty and it was akward. She does have a bf so i was wondering if she was flirting with me |

Question: Why did he call me ugly? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 11:57 AM PDT There is one guy that called me ugly in his ask. What makes me confused, is that he is ALWAYS staring at me during the class. ( Many people have told me he was staring at me). Would a guy stare a lot at a girl that he thinks is ugly? |
Question: What is wrong with my roommate? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 11:41 AM PDT She always tells me she likes me and whenever she brings friends over she tells them that i'm the best roommate she's ever had. But recently, whenever she walked into the room and saw me, she would miserably say hi and then I would ask a question to start the convo and she would answer in one word.... Then when she's in a good mood, she would talk so much and smile so much (this only happens once a week, she's miserable for the other like 3 days). I don't understand her and it's not fair for me. if she's stressed out she shouldn't take it out on me like that when i'm just being friendly. I'm a girl |
Question: Is my friend being weird? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 11:35 AM PDT My friend and I are going to a concert this thursday. we have done this a few months ago, and met at his place and too uber to the venue. This time, while we're planning it, I asked him more than once if he wants to take uber or drive together (we are definitely going together, since he doesn't drive). I made it very clear that it's no prob either way, and even gave him the details on parking fees. He won't answer this question! Why? As i said, i couldn't b easier to plan with! |
Posted: 17 Oct 2016 11:31 AM PDT They now after 5 years want me to answer for it and to be honest I don't even remember the account what was said or what alias I had at the time. There was a video uploaded and all I know is it was an honest video blog about bullies and there may have been a little skit put on with a friend of mine. How should I feel about such thing? are they being petty? |
Posted: 17 Oct 2016 11:09 AM PDT Teachers mark me absent and kids run into me all the time. I'm super shy and I have panic attacks when I have to talk to a teacher one on one or if I try to talk to someone new. I wish I was completely invisible because everyone still talks about me and my old friends bullied me by pushing me physically. I truly hate myself and I want to change but no matter how hard I try I just can't and I've lost friends because they said I'm not putting myself or there enough. I'm 15 second year in high school in a small town and idk what to do anymore I have no friends literally no one I stand by myself all the time and walk to lunch by myself and I'm tired of being so lonely how can I fix this? |
Question: I want to be friends with my college roommate? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 10:34 AM PDT But she is reluctant. We get along great and have a lot in common. However, when it comes to being personal with each other and sharing "deeper" experiences, she wants nothing to do with me. Yesterday I came back crying, and she didn't even ask what was wrong because she doesn't want to deal with emotions. But I'm the opposite and I have been through a great deal of trauma so much of my life is emotional. I don't know how to relate to her on a more emotional scale if she doesn't want to. What do I do? |

Question: My Little Sister is My Parents' Favorite.? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 10:18 AM PDT Hey, guys. My name is Henry J. Acevedo and I'm fourteen years old. When I was born, I was everything to my parents. Until my little sister, Amelia, who is twelve years old, came along. After that, she was the center of attention. After that, Amelia has been the obvious favorite, she gets whatever she wants and she is the queen of the house. She's always getting me into trouble. It's obvious that my parents would choose her over me any day. Today, I saw my parents making a digital photo album of us and they put her on the cover. What should I do? deez nuts Hi |

Question: I'm afraid to stand up for myself and say "no".? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 10:07 AM PDT Hi, I'm a 20 year old well built male who happens to have fear of standing up for myself. Has your kindness ever been taken for granted? I'm a very, very kind person who loves to help people without ever saying "no". I don't lie unless it's for a joke, but I eventually own up to it. Okay, there is this one guy who thinks he's the "it", he is also my cousin brother. The fellow always tries to alpha up on me in front of everyone. He insults me of my skin color just because he's fair (i'm a bit towards a darker shade of brown) in front of my friends, lies about me in front of my friends etc. and I just stand there and smile without talking back as I feel if I talk back, I'd hurt him (even other people in general) and because of this, because I don't talk back, he has been doing this for a long, long time. I can see that he is clearly jealous of me because I am better than him in many ways and I've been told that by many people too. I'm also afraid of saying stuff to peoples faces as I think it would hurt them. I want to wake up one day filled with courage and confidence and stand up for myself without being afraid of him or anyone in general. Any advice would help. Thanks a lot! |

Question: If anyone apologizes is it really necessary for them to mean it? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 08:36 AM PDT I'm only talking about the person receiving the apology. If you think about it they are saying it to you and don't benefit at all unless they are sorry. So whether they are sorry or not doesn't really matter, but some people always get upset because they feel the apology wasn't genuine....who cares....right? |
Question: Suspended from school because PE coach is a bigot!? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 07:34 AM PDT In my hs when change clothes for gym class; the locker room is open but we don't get naked we are still in our boxers. When changing, so normally it's not a It deal but a guy in the class pulled my boxers down while I was taking off my shirt! I couldn't believe it. Our coach is one these "cool coaches" he's like 29 and he doesn't know what the hell he is doing he literally thought it was funny and smiled; instead of getting the kid in trouble he said live a little to me. So when we went back to get changed again before leaving I pulled coaches pants down all the way and stood on them between his legs and said live a little. Some guy actually got a picture of his dick I told them just to film in that area not telling them what I was doing. Now I'm suspended how is that even fair. He can dish it but he can't take it. Now I'm at home just pist off. Not because of getting pantsed but because I'm in trouble for doing it to him when the guy who did it to me walks free. I'll admit feels a little better though knowing they saw his but I'm still pist. |
Posted: 17 Oct 2016 07:22 AM PDT If you look up story people it's like that. I want to make this into a cute little story: my best friend I met in second grade at first thought I was gonna be a bully but I was the first one to come up to her and ask her to be my friend and we have known each other for 8 years |
