Question: My boyfriend's son said he hates me. Is he serious?!? Posted: 20 Oct 2016 06:30 PM PDT So I don't have any kids but my boyfriend of 6 months does. Me and my boyfriend have known each other for like 6 years but we are in a fairly new relationship. I consider us to still be in the honeymoon phrase and when you're in that phrase people tend to want to be around their partner 24/7. I'm sure it'll wear off sooner or later. But anyways, my boyfriend spends the majority of his time with me because he takes me to school, picks me up and helps me with my school work. I'm going to have my masters degree in two months with the help of him. This stuff is so hard and he's been s huge help. I over heard his son saying that he hates me because I spend so much time with my boyfriend. I was hurt when I heard that because I thought he adored me. I always bake him a cake every chance I get. Then on top of that my boyfriend's mom started fussing and cussing at him because he spends so much time with me. The boy is like 10 years old, he doesn't have to act like that. If anything I would say he doesn't spend enough time with his actual mother because he is constantly calling my boyfriend. I'm 24 and my boyfriend is 30. We are moving out of the city soon in like a year and a half too for better job opportunities |
Question: Wedding plans: is this an issue? Posted: 20 Oct 2016 05:51 PM PDT I am engaged, my fiancé and I are hoping to get married 2 years from now. We have talked about what the wedding would look like, the food etc. and this is when I realised how weird it's going to be. with just his friends and family, we would be lucky to have 40 people.. I'm Indian, so my family alone would be around 50, that's only my parents siblings and 1st cousins. I feel like the wedding would be so disproportionate ... is this an issue ?? |
Question: Inviting Co-Workers but not their spouses? Posted: 20 Oct 2016 02:29 PM PDT So we are planning a wedding for next year and have recently learned we are expecting. We decided to go cheaper and smaller with the wedding in hopes of saving money with a new baby on the way. One way we want to save is by cutting the guest list. There are 5 co-workers I want to invite but do not have room for them to have plus-1s. Is it in bad taste to invite them but not their spouse? |
Question: Should I send a bill to my wedding guests? Posted: 20 Oct 2016 01:51 PM PDT Last weekend we had our wedding, and it turned out to be less than perfect. It was a typical Greek wedding which also involved plate smashing, little did I know though that the guests would use the plates on their own table! The venue now wants to charge us for 400 plates and the cost of an extensive clean up. I feel people should have known better. At the price quoted the cost would come out to $23.85 a person for 200 guests. Should I send invoices or call everyone up directly? |
Question: Just my family at an after eloping party? Posted: 20 Oct 2016 12:33 PM PDT My boyfriend barely speaks to his parents and lost touch with all his friends and just has work friends that are older than him that he feels dumb inviting. We plan to just say our vows in private and then have a lobster bake. Will is be weird that just my family will be there, im also not inviting friends? |
Question: Me and my fiance want to say our wedding vows alone is this strange? Posted: 20 Oct 2016 07:57 AM PDT We both have difficult relationships with our parents and have really only had one another. I want to say our vows alone and then have a nice lobster bake party after. |

Question: Can and Would the US State of Hawaii adopt Left Hand Traffic? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 07:42 PM PDT (I am not from Hawaii) I doubt it is even being suggested as an Idea there, but most of Polynesia already does it, and a significant amount of tourists are from Japan Keep this in Weddings |
