I try to talk to them to at least be friends yet I feel like I get treated like something easily disposable. I feel that just because of my physical height (5'4) that girls don't treat me as special as they would other guys and its been making me believe that some things like sexual assault is justified in some cases, or at least i'm not the one thats doing it but I have a lot less sympathy for people who are rape victims (excluding jail)....no wonder why sexual assault still exists in this world.... If a girl who doesn't like me for my height gets sexually assaulted, I won't help her because I don't owe her any thing more than she owes me, hows that for equality.... We got to know each other and both liked each other. However, I had to tell him that I was too busy to hang out/have a relationship at the time, and he said ok let me know if you're ever not busy. we didn't talk all summer. A couple months ago we ran into each other at a football game and texted a few days later. I told him i wasn't busy anymore and that i wanted to try again but he said he thought it would be better if we were just friends. So recently he got a snapchat and we added each other and talked for a bit. I still like him and i want to keep talking to him and maybe get him back but how do i do this without seeming desperate? please help btw My best friend also snap chatted him saying that i wanted to talk to him but i was too nervous. I knew about this but i pretended like i didn't know when he asked me about it. I told him that she misinterpreted us talking and that I was just being friendly and not trying to get with you. I was hoping that would start me back at square one and we could be friends and hopefully something would come from that idk |

| Question: How do I handle the situation I am in with this girl in college? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 06:49 PM PDT I met this girl back in August. She approached me, sat with me, and we spoke for over two hours, sharing loads of personal information with each other. It was a lovely talk and so I walked her back to her dorm and got her number. She seemed super interested and bubbly. I texted her and she was sending smiley faces and all that fun stuff, but then over the next few days she became more distant and our conversations became much less interesting and much shorter. Over weeks we continued talking, but she didn't seem very attentive. At one point I asked if she was busy and she told me "I have to go see my friends," and I was like "Then go do that. We can talk later or something," and she was like "No..." all shy like. I was confused. She would delete any plans we ever made and after weeks of her growing more distant from me I finally asked "Do you feel the same way I do? I honestly like you a lot and I just want to know if I have been reading too far into things." To that she said she just saw me as an awesome person with a great personality. I was really confused and asked her why she said we were "talking", which she did do (it's such a long story) and she said "Well...I wanted to give it a chance...but I didn't feel the same way." I accepted it and said we can be friends, but I want time to myself, so I didn't talk to her for days and went to a mutual friend for some insight on everything... to be continued. lol So the friend said she was already talking to another person before me all the way up to that point, essentially. However, I also found out the other guy, whom she knew for much longer, shot her down. She has been visibly jealous while I speak to other girls, but says she is comfortable with being friends, but actively avoids me... We actually had a fight about it and are taking a break from each other for a few weeks. I am kind of curious... Is she just getting over the other guy? She seems jealous when I talk to this other girl now and she checks me out a lot. The other girl is actually my friend and says she notices it too. I am not sure what to think. She actually made a post about it saying how her crush who doesn't know they are her crush has moved on with someone else. It was strange. |
| Question: How do you break up? Posted: 17 Oct 2016 06:49 PM PDT I have this friend and she wants advice. She has this boyfriend and she doesn't want to be with him anymore. Everyone says they're a good couple and just yesterday everyone was congratulating her on how much she has helped him grow as a person. She says she feels like she does all the giving in the relationship and he gives nothing.she feels she deserves better. She says he is an underachiever and that he is majorly overweight and that he has bad teeth and pimples everywhere. So she doesn't like his appearance and not to mention the fact that she doesn't like his personality either. He's super shy and rarely ever talks first. She feels that he is boring! But at the same time she feels she can't break up with him because people admire how much she has helped him and his family is so grateful to have her. but desperately inside she wants out of this relationship. |
