A lot of men say they don't owe you anything just for having sex, and I think in that case, I don't owe them anything either. Therefore, I think men should learn to be held accountable. In some cases, if you really don't care about the guy, it's best to just move on. However, I tried to do that with one guy and have been so mad about it. I think my anger is totally justified, as many women's would be. In this case, I am going to call him and make him regret his actions? We have stayed together through a lot of problems such as him physically abusing me for 1.5 years (mostly has stopped except every once in a while he will still hit me). We also don t have very much in common (don t like the same music, enjoy the same outdoor activities, etc.), but it didn t seem to bother me until now... You see, I graduated in April from college (1 year early so we were technically in the same grade level) and he still has a year left. For him, he still thinks that partying and playing a lot of video games is what he should be doing with his life, but I have moved on from things like that. I am a very motivated person and I am working 2 jobs (65-70 hours a week) to be able to save enough money to be able to pay for an accelerated nursing school program that I was recently accepted to. My boyfriend on the other hand isn t very motivated. He goes to school for a grand total of 15 hours a week and plays video games for at least 30 hours a week (he quit his job because he didn t feel like working at the place anymore). On top of that he doesn t support me in wanting to go to nursing school because he doesn t want me to move 6 hours away. The one thing that I do really love about him is his family; however, he is not much like them. So... is he worth staying with or should I just break up with him and just focus on going to nursing school? |

We met on a cruise (she s my friends cousin) in the first week of August. We starting seeing each right after the cruise and started dating on the 1st of September then broke up on our one month October 1st. The reason why we broke up because she lives in Long Island and I live in Staten Island an hour and half away from each other. Neither of us drive (I can t because of insurance reasons till January) & she doesn t have a car. So we d take public transit to see each other every weekend I didn t mind it, she had a hard time with it. We would FaceTime every night but she said it s not enough and she needs me more. I'm 22 a senior and she s only 18 a freshman in college l'm graduating in January so we are at different points in our life, another reason we broke up. But I love her so much and she loves me.
