| Question: How can I convince my mom not to give them money as a wedding gift? Posted: 05 Jun 2018 11:25 AM PDT We've been invited to her nieces wedding and she wants to show off and give her $100 as a wedding gift. But i know my cousin doesn't appreciate it and is ungrateful and will be stroppy because she wants more. My mom gave her and her sisters gold jewellery in the past and they sold it. How can I stop my mom giving them a penny? The other wedding guests aren't even getting them a present let alone money. I don't want my mom being taken advantage of. Also she's not in a position to be giving anyone cash as we're all out of work and on a tight budget as it is. |
