My boyfriend goes on a big boys trip about twice a year, with two separate sets of friends. One set of friends always goes on a river trip (I actually got invited last year), and the other set parties every weekend that I go home and work (which is most weekends) and last year they went to Vegas and this year is planning on San Diego. San Diego has been planned since December. My boyfriend proposed in February. We planned for a May wedding, but due to high hotel prices for our guest we moved it to June. And he informed me how excited he is to be going on two trips in the month of June, by letting me know his boys trip is the week we get back from our honeymoon. I've stayed at his place every night since he proposed and moved everything from my college apartment to his place. Once school was out, I moved back home with my mom to work in my home town until our wedding date. He's been my first everything and I'm nervous this big step I'm taking because I'm very close with my parents. Do you think I should just be ok with him leaving right after we start our new life together? Also, we're incredibly broke. We're short $400 for our honeymoon, but he's spending money going out with his friends this weekend and is putting all of his extra money towards his San Diego trip. We're honestly on such a tight budget right now. We're basically broke. I'm just feeling a little... I'm not sure the words for it. But it really hurts. Any advice?
