So there is this girl who I work with and I'm now in a friendship group with her and a few other girls. The first time I met her, she said 'no offence, but you kind of sound like you are from private school' and said 'if I could imagine what it would be like to go to private school, I would imagine people who looked like you' On a separate occasion she said 'you look like you could be royal, or belong to a royal family and I'm like a pig' She keeps mentioning this to me all the time too, that I look dress and act like a royal. When I talk to someone about their clothes and if they are from an expensive shop she says to me 'well only you would shop there' In the friendship group sometimes she will say 'I like you guys because you are like me and we speak the same and I have lots in common with you' and then she will not mention me. Why does she keep making fun of me based on my background, dress sense and social class?

My parents have become estranged and leave town deliberately when this person is in town. They hate her like she hates people. I like seeing her in a controlled setting so usually do see her unless my Dad who is controlling gets mad at me for seeing his enemy.
