Question: Should I move apartments or stay? Posted: 01 Jun 2018 04:43 PM PDT I have one year until I graduate college then I'll be moving states. I really want to move from where I live because I feel like I've outgrown where I live and am ready for more. Also, being where I live reminds me of my ex whom I was with for years and I don't want him to have an option of "popping up" when he and his new beau break up? My aunt tells me I should stay where I am and wait it out but I really don't want any pops up from my ex. Not that he has recently but eventually he will. Moving to a new place now, despite leaving the state in a year, symbolizes a fresh start and would close the door to everything my current place currently holds. Right now for me it's old... I feel like I've grown as a person and yet I am still here. Should I move or wait? Also, my landlord seems to hate me, so that adds even more fuel to wanting to leave. I've been here for 5 years now. |

Question: Why are people so mean to good looking people who are nice? Posted: 01 Jun 2018 11:18 AM PDT It seems like people are really upset with good looking people who are nice. Why do you think this is? I don't know Britney Spears personally, but it seems like people really tore her down when she was in her prime. (And she didn't seem mean, just confident and sweet) And in real life, I just notice people hating on good looking people who aren't mean or intimidating. Even if these nice good looking people are shy, they'll be picked on. What is that? I got picked on so badly & have major self esteem issues. I kept to myself and was a really nice kid. I was called ugly and weird among other things on a regular basis, and I believed it. Looking at my pictures recently from when I was a kid, I had striking looks. I was a really pretty girl and I didn't even know just how pretty. I feel pretty now, but still get people who seem ready to tear me down. Even people in my own family. I am so nice, so I don't understand this. Why do people hate so much? |

Question: Does she just lack social skills? Posted: 01 Jun 2018 06:46 AM PDT OK I have hunch this girl likes me but I would like to describe her behavior and a girl's opinion on her and how to accommodate it she's outgoing but weird with me. Well before I met her she helped out this guy I talk to in class and talking to her girls she was talking loudly and rolled up her shirt while fidgeting with her shirt showing her belly ring and stomach. She giggled at my singing I ignore then a week later she starts laughing at my joke LOUDLY and asks me to repeat it to her and the context. Then she waits after class giggles with her friend and scares me and this was the closest she got to me. Well after that her friend would try to get me to talk to her and play with her by chasing her down the hall. The girl can't really start a conversation she responds to stuff I say to other people asks questions has me repeat stuff to her or laughs loudly at stuff I say. After I talk to her she does the scaring thing. From having basic conversation she gets red can't look me in the eyes, has a big smile and does not stand still. When I see her in the halls hi she smiles can't look me in the eyes says hi back. She blushes when I say hi first. When I start the conversation she does the scaring thing but it is rare. She makes long eye contact and stares deeply into my eyes and does not stop and smiles, when I look away she is still staring at me. We can finish a conversation and she's doing that. When I start a conversation she tries to get me closer and has me sit next to her for a selfie with her and her girl and tells me to get closer everytime but she wants me next to her in all. She will send me the picture for me to put on fb like it then tell me the next day she likes it. I was minding my own business and payed no attention to her whatsoever and her friend approaches asks me to sit next to her for a picture she takes it so the girl is wearing a top that shows cleavage when she NEVER wears anything revealing so she bends over and puts her arms close blushing. ☆ Sent from iOS Dr. Know! 1.1.04 |

Question: Why does this woman at work make fun of me being ‘posh’? Posted: 01 Jun 2018 05:10 AM PDT So there is this girl who I work with and she's from a working class background and I'm from middle class upbringing. I'm now in a friendship group with her and a few other girls. The first time I met her, she said 'no offence, but you kind of sound like you are from private school' and said 'if I could imagine what it would be like to go to private school, I would imagine people who looked like you' On a separate occasion she said 'you look like you could be royal, or belong to a royal family and I'm like a pig' She keeps mentioning this to me all the time too, that I look dress and act like a royal. When I talk to someone about their clothes and if they are from an expensive shop she says to me 'well only you would shop there' I feel like in the friendship group she doesn't want me there, and when we go out to places to eat she always says 'I can't imagine you being here, you should be in the palace' sarcastically In the friendship group sometimes she will say 'I like you guys because you are like me and we speak the same and I have lots in common with you' and then she will not mention me. She texts everyone else in the group except me too. When we are all together it feels like she wants to push me out and only ever has something to say to me when she wants to insult me Why does she treat me differently based on my social background and upbringing? |

Question: Why do I keep getting stalked by men? Posted: 31 May 2018 11:48 PM PDT I started my new job and this guy won't stop stalking me. Everytime it happens i don't wear revealing clothing at all. I need a way to keep from being stalked. I told my old cousin about it. He flat out told me, "Sorry to say this but you're a girl and it will always happen to girls and you can't stop men from looking at you." I was like, "I didn't expect you to say that. I'm trying to not get stalked for the rest of my life. He asked if I reported to my boyfriend and I said yes. Is he right? He also said, "That's also why fafs and brothers and males are very protective of women and not to sound rude but most females are vulnerable." Is he right about that and being stalked? |
Question: Should I be worried, am I overthinking? Posted: 31 May 2018 07:10 AM PDT I'm 26 (female) I moved away not too long ago, but even prior to moving away I created distance between my siblings and I. I was going through some depression and just needed time away from the people who caused it. My brother who is 3 years older than me, we grew up together. And he always tries to paint me out as being a liar. He bring up things I lied about when I was like 10 years old, and I can admit I probably did lie a lot for attention or for whatever reason. I was a kid, he lied about things too... but they paint the picture to say I am. I lied about my cousin getting a whooping just to get laughs and he actually went back and told my cousin, this is when we were kids.My brother is very hateful and have a history of being hateful. I just feel bad, I feel like no matter how far I run this will haunt me? Should I let it. I definitely wouldn't lie about that crap now. But It just feel like everyone is talking about me |
