Question: Can you ever get over an abusive childhood? Posted: 03 Apr 2018 02:54 PM PDT I'm 22 now. I was abused physically and emotionally. I even suffer from psychical health problems now because of it. As for the mental effects I don't know or want to. I do know that I'm an extremely angry and unhappy person with non existent self esteem. I know everyone says it gets better, just to make us feel better, but does it really? I saw an article comparing 'normal' brains to those of people that were abused as children. The latter were physically different. I'm damaged for life in so many ways. I've never been able to focus at school either, I'm 22 and going nowhere in life. All my dreams and goals are impossible for me to achieve now either because of my grades or finances. Why do people say it gets better if it doesn't? The false hope is even worse than reality. So will I ever get over it? Or will I only find peace in the grave. |
Question: Have you ever put your armpit in your brother or sisters face? Posted: 03 Apr 2018 01:30 PM PDT Haha just asking because I'm bored 😂 |
Question: Parents forcing kids to go to church? Posted: 03 Apr 2018 01:11 PM PDT I notice parents force their kids who are all grown up to go to church..and when they do go...the kids dont seem to participate or care about anything that goes on during the sermon... Are the parents shoving God down their throats? ....is the kids going just because the parents say to go MEANINGLESS? |
Question: Did she ask that question because she wants me to be near? Posted: 03 Apr 2018 09:20 AM PDT I'm graduating high school soon. An older woman I know was asking me about what college I want to go to. I said "a public 4 year university, small or big doesn't matter, near here" we live in the usa. She said "would you go to a college in (neighboring state)?" I said "no, by near I'm talking about (our city, neighboring city)" |

Question: How to be nice and firm without sounding like a *****? Posted: 02 Apr 2018 10:49 PM PDT My husbands cousin is staying with us for awhile until he finds a place. We live in a small apartment with our 2 young kids. He is a pothead and smokes weed and drinks a lot. I don't care what he does, it's his life. But it's really frustrating when I tell him our building has rules and one of those rules is you can't smoke anything on the premises you have to go outside down the street more than once and he doesn't listen to me. Just now I caught him smoking weed right outside my patio door. I hate having to repeat myself. Also I'm pregnant and the smell makes me so sick. Not to mention, he drinks in the car when we're driving (he doesn't drive thank god) he leaves the tv on super loud when he leaves the house and we're not home and he leaves alchohol bottles and glasses of alcohol on the ground when he goes to sleep and my kids come downstairs in the morning. (He sleeps on the couch in the living room.) My husband and I have talked to him many times. I'm at my wits end and I'm gonna pop out a baby any day. I'm sick of this and my husband is too nice to kick him out but I'm so ready to unleash my beast and become mean. I've been too nice about all of this. How do I say something to him without sounding like a b****? I'm done being taken advantage of. |
