Question: How would you describe my friend? Posted: 14 Apr 2018 03:39 PM PDT my best friend loves talking about himself and how he's a king. He makes fun of fat women and says things like he'll kill himself before he marry a fat chick. He has a big hatred for woman with no *** or boobs. He doesnt date his own race and says woman that is his race is ugly. He points out women's flaws and tells his girlfriend she doesnt try hard enough. He always on social media talking about "smashing" beautiful woman and hooking up with them. He is in his 20s and i feel like he isnt mature. |
Question: How to make friends :/? Posted: 14 Apr 2018 01:16 PM PDT Why am I so lonely ? I keep telling myself that I need to stop all this self loathing and try yo get friends, I do try but I get put down a lot and I just shy away from it now. I have one really good friend but we met online so hes not in my life for real. I try to asses my behavior around old friends looking for things that would make people wanna be friends with me I ask myself am i pushy? or clingy? annoying? I am a very self aware person and i cannot seem to find anything. Im pretty funny I crack people up a lot. I am a 17 year old so I know I will make some in the future but im tired of being so lonely, I work and go to school part time and thats all I do. I feel like i should be getting more out of my teenage years im not. Why dont I have any friends? and how do you make friends (that sounded more pathetic than I meant it to. Any answers are appreciated, Thank you! |
Posted: 14 Apr 2018 01:04 PM PDT I have a friend. We don't hang out a lot (we talk more online) but whenever we do, it's usually me who asks. When she asks to hang out it's always because she needs help with homework or something. She's told me that she feels bad because I always accept her requests when she needs help but she doesn't really do that when I need help or just want to hang. She asked me if she was selfish for doing that but at the time I didn't know how to answer due to the suddenness of the question. But now, I'm starting to question it. Sometimes I wish she'd ask me just to hang out for fun and not always about homework. I don't know, I just feel like she's taking me a bit for granted because I've never refused her when she asks. She'd just recently asked if I could go over to her house to help her with something but I'm not sure. I do want to help but I don't know since I'm starting to question things. What should I do? |
Question: What would a typical guy think or do in that situation? Posted: 14 Apr 2018 12:27 PM PDT If you are male , age 33 and you came out of the toilet and your female roommate ,age 35 is washing her dishes and you have to walk past her to walk to the living room, the space between you and her is very small, but you still have to walk past her, what is a typical guy think of that situation? Why I ask because I knew he came out of the toilet but he is taking a Long time to walk past me and I don't know what is he doing behind me? Yes I'm the female roommate |
Question: Is it really strange for three 18 year old girls to look exactly alike? Posted: 14 Apr 2018 12:12 PM PDT I'm a 14 year old at a grades 8-12 high school so I don't really know them. I was told that they're graduating seniors of this year. They sort of stand out, all of them have the EXACT same facial features and mostly hang out together. I'm sure they're twins or something, but there's a third girl too. Triplets are really rare so... on top of all that, they have similar clothes, heavy makeup, hairstyle, and all that. I thought I was seeing the same person all the time when I started high school. I described it to someone else, and they said I'm seeing "multiples" of the same person because there's actually 3 of them. Later on, I noticed all 3 girls together in the cafeteria. |

Question: Should I keep it a secret? Posted: 14 Apr 2018 06:57 AM PDT When I was staying around my friends house one night she woke up at 2 am in severe agony saying she just has ovulation pain. She had a hot drink then the pain settled, but she was in so much pain I was worried. Another few times shed wake in the night feeling sick and heaving then shivering, but also saying shes fine she just gets nauseous when shes very tired. She told me not to tell her parents because they're hyperchrondriacs and will try to make her see a doctor and fight with her until she does. She says she doesn't want to because doctors try to nose into her private life and ask lots of questions and that there's nothing wrong with her anyway. But I'm worried she ill! What should I do? Most days she seems perfectly healthy. |
Question: Is my friend stupid? Posted: 14 Apr 2018 02:37 AM PDT She mentioned that she would never intentionally hurt another person. "I know bad experiences turn some people bitter, generally people aren't born this way. Due to experiences some people become cold-hearted and stop caring...I don't want to do that though. I remember what it felt like at the moment when I was hurt, I could never do that to another person. I mean I don't want to be close another person because there are bad people in this world but I don't wanna hurt anyone ever." Isn't she just trying to be too much of a "goodie good"? She won't survive. She is going to get screwed over again and again by people and/or end up lonely. We live in such a world where you have hurt others to be happy, there is no other option. She is a grown up who thinks like an innocent kid, which is stupid. She won't go far this way. You have to be like others in order to live in this world. |
Question: Why won’t he kiss me? Posted: 13 Apr 2018 10:57 PM PDT He and I like each other so much, but he backs away.. I have plumped soft lips.. My breath smells minty every day.. This sucks! :( I want to kiss him.. |
Question: Help with an ex-bestfriend issue -.-‘? Posted: 13 Apr 2018 09:42 PM PDT Okay so me and this girl had been bestfriends from 4th grade to 9th grade. I stopped being friends with her in the beginning of 10th grade when she totally ditched me and became best friends with my enemy and basically ignored me. Then I stopped giving a fu** and now am thankful to have 6 girls which Im happy to call my best friends. Ever since, she has tried talking to me, but I have totally looked the other way and ignored her. I sometimes feel like she is staring at me. One time my best friend was hugging me and I could feel her staring. Sometimes she just stares and I stare back and she looks the other way. But the other day I was standing near my class and she came and bumped into me, laughed and said sorry. I dont know whats so funny about that but I just ignored her. What does this mean? To be honest, I dont want to have any relationship with her. I don't want to be stepped on again. Is she trying to be rude or what? |
Posted: 13 Apr 2018 09:15 PM PDT I ve always loved the idea of being physically close enough to someone to want to cuddle with them. Not in love or liking them as more than friend. I ve heard people describe how great it is to have, but never any stories about the first time. So if anyone has some to share I d love to hear them :) |
Question: Why are women so difficult with each other? Posted: 13 Apr 2018 08:35 PM PDT Ok so let me relate to you my thoughts. As a man, I noticed that it is very difficult to have my female friends in the same company of each other. Women are so prejudiced against each other. I get along very well with other men, and my I can introduce a male friend to another male friend with much more ease than with women. It's very clear that for women, differences in social rank are much more important and for this reason women typically feel more shameful around women of higher status. I wanted to go to this reception at this hotel and invite a ton of friends but I noticed that this is impossible. We are all in our early to late 20s for god's sakes, some are even early 30s. People are so convicted and subjective. Very subjective. And it prevents them from socializing and getting along. I can't invite my friend Vanessa and my friend Alice to the same place. Oh god oh god oh god that would be so awkward. WTF? This is just one example, there are so many others. Point is, Women can be very hostile against each other. Particularly women who are outside their tribe. Just based on superficial things, really. Why? Why is this? I hate hanging out with all my female friends individually. But bringing them together and introducing them to each other would be a disaster. |
Question: Does anyone else hate to spend time with friends but love to hang out with family? Posted: 13 Apr 2018 08:14 PM PDT I know most people love their families but would you choose to go out for a birthday dinner for one of them versus a dinner with friends? I would but most of my friends see nothing wrong with ditching their families. I had to tell them one time that it was my cousins third birthday and I couldn't hang out and they told me that he'll have another one next year. I couldn't imagine not going to my cousins birthday by choice. Every time I say that I prefer to hang out with my family they act like it's really strange. I just enjoy my families company way more. They don't tease me for following the rules. They have actual conversations about stuff that matters like college instead of who I have a crush on. Overall they're just so much more fun. With my friends I feel like I end up sitting there because they are having a stupid conversation. Or I leave because they want to go to some strangers party at a house they've never been to and get drunk. Sorry that seems stupid. Does anyone else prefer their family over friends? |
Question: How do I make people afraid and demand respect? Posted: 13 Apr 2018 07:03 PM PDT I'm tired of being that one kid who's good in all of his grades and gets picked on by everyone, and is constantly annoyed by everyone. I want people to be afraid of me; terrified of me. But I want those who decide to become friends to respect me. Clearly I'm not doing well already. Posted: 13 Apr 2018 06:56 PM PDT I went away for a few months to another state for work. Before I left, a few of my girlfriends treated me to a small dinner. While I was away, they texted me saying that they were thinking of me, missed me, and said we should celebrate when I come back. One of them even sent me a card and another asked to video chat with me. I tell them the exact date that I will be back and when I come back, I don't hear from any of them. Its been a week since I've been back and they haven't reached out at all. I don't know if I should reach out first but I can't help feel really hurt. |
Posted: 13 Apr 2018 06:13 PM PDT I figured it was better to let him read this instead of us talking because he'd keep interrupting me or denying his behavior. See Below. I decided to email this to you instead of talking because I don't want to be interrupted and I want you to understand where I'm coming from. That last exchange of texts between us was my "last straw" moment. I know we've been buddies for over a decade but our friendship has run its course. When I found myself getting pissed for the umpteenth time because of your lack of comprehension of simple things, I said "Enough is enough." I've found that I never get this type of anxiety when communicating with others. With others, whether we agree or not, our basic points are understood, which makes the convos anxiety free. However with you, it's anxiety and confusion before even getting to the meat of things. I always have to explain over and over or give an almost elementary breakdown to get you to understand things. I've actually dumbed myself down with you because I know simple stuff goes completely over your head. It's like some wires in your brain are missing or aren't connected. I keep telling myself "Oh well, he's my friend and doesn't mean any harm." But that **** is old now. I know I've told you about your bad comprehension skills before but this time I'm done trying to overlook things. We are not equally yoked for a lifetime of friendship. Everything has a season. |
Question: What does this mean? Is he trying to tell someone something? Or was it just coincidence.? Posted: 13 Apr 2018 05:28 PM PDT Okay so my bf, his brother and me where all talking and the conversation got to what kind of women he's brother was attracted to. Just for note, I recognize myself as a black female since I'm majority African American. Okay anyways, when he was describing the body type of the woman he prefered, he exaplained a body type which was completely identical to my body type, with details, except for one thing. He said 'white', three times when explaining, he started it off with, 'White.',then continued to talk, then said 'she has to be white' and continued talking again and then he's like last sentence contained, 'I'm attracted to white girls.....'. And this was all separately in short sentences and two of the white phrases were said louder than the other words (not much louder but you could hear the difference). It sounded like either he was trying to convince me something or my bf something or himself, Idk but I'm curious. Thanks. |
