Question: I dropped my best friend for my boyfriend, now he broke up with me? Posted: 17 Apr 2018 04:41 PM PDT I met my best friend in college because we were roommates, and we were super close. We would literally do everything together and we were always at each other's side. I started dating this guy for a few months and I admit that I didn't make time for my best friend. I was in an abusive relationship with a guy before so when I found a nice guy like this I kind of clung to him. Me and my roommate used to have sleepovers every night in my dorm because we would just fall asleep watching movies, we would always go out to eat together, and all this stuff... and I started doing these things with my boyfriend. Now he recently dumped me and my friend doesn't wanna hang out with me anymore. She already found a group of new friends and she says she's really busy with a lot of other things because she wasn't going to wait around for me forever. I feel like she should just forgive me though because a true friend would understand that sometimes this happens. What should I do? |

Question: What do you do if your friend's dog likes you better than him? Posted: 17 Apr 2018 03:41 PM PDT --My friend's dog really likes me. Whenever I go to the friend's house the dog lavishes attention on me and completely ignores my friend. I can tell my friend hates this, but I don't see a reason to ignore the dog or tell him to go away because he isn't doing anything bad. How should this situation be handled? |

Question: Why people throw people under the bus? Posted: 17 Apr 2018 12:59 PM PDT I've been thrown under the bus on numerous occasions, especially on jobs and it feels terrible and I get angry. I'm beginning to think that I should be throwing people under the bus right back. I mean if you can't beat them join them? What are your thoughts on this? Have you been through this yourself? Thanks in advance. |
Question: Why are the seniors so hard on me at school? Posted: 17 Apr 2018 11:53 AM PDT I'm a 13 years old girl at a grades 8-12 school. The seniors seem to test how I react, and act snobby every time they see us. Theres pranks specifically on freshmen. I'm trying not to annoy them and I don't even say anything to them. But in the hallways, they purposely complain about how we're annoying. Not to mention on the FIRST day of school, this girl sent me on a wild goose chase on the 3rd floor. She showed me a "form" written in an "adult" manner that all 8th graders MUST come to the auditorium for a meeting. Turns out, it was a senior hip hop dance class. Everyone was looking at me and as I ran out, people laughed |
Question: Need friendship advice? Posted: 17 Apr 2018 10:17 AM PDT Me and my friend went to a techno festival over the weekend. I ended up being slipped something in my drink and I began to get sick and I can barely remember the night. I was take notice to paramedics and slept for 2 hours and was shivering like crazy. My friend I think is mad at me, she had lost her phone but it was returned to her and keeps sending me pointless snapchats and then I receive another snapchat saying menat for someone else. I can tell that talking between us it seems different and not in a good way. I just need some advice on what to do because I don't remember half the night at all |

Question: Would you call a person in a situation like this? Posted: 17 Apr 2018 02:59 AM PDT if there was a person that you considered to be a friend that you have been chatting with online for a few years but you only met them in person one time and you were supposed to hang out with that person again but you suddenly stopped hearing from them ..they were not responding to several emails that you sent to them and they did not get back to you via email about hanging out again would you.... 1) think that something might have happened where they are unable to access their emails and place a phone call them to make sure they were okay? 2) just assume they are no longer interested in being friends with you and move on with your life? Would you choose 1 or 2? I will choose a best answer and thanks in advance for the response. |
Question: What does sorta mean? Posted: 17 Apr 2018 01:59 AM PDT Like lets say if you ask your friend if they like the song and they respond with sorta does that mean they didn't like it |
Question: I'm in love with someone and I feel so much pain, what do I do? Posted: 17 Apr 2018 01:49 AM PDT I fell in love with a friend of mine. We're not that close. I'm happiest when I'm with her. I'm scared of getting any closer to her. When I get home after hanging out with her with some other friends, my chest feels pressure and it feels like my heart is getting crushed. The closer I get to her the happier I am with her even just as friends, but the pain also worsens when I'm alone. I don't know what to do. Someone please help me. |

Question: Why cant I make friends? Posted: 16 Apr 2018 09:20 PM PDT So, I'm a 19 year old guy and people my age don't like me. I have no friends. People my age don't even pay attention when I speak. Yet, in the work place, people much older than me 40s-50s+ like me much more. They could talk to me for hours. Why? I know it's not easy to tell by this post but I need ideas. If I can get someone to hang out with me, there's never a 2nd hang out. I'm a totally fun guy with many hobbies and interests. Especially music. In particular I can't get girls to like me. They won't even usually look at me. Yet their mom loves me! I can get the mom to think I'm so smart and all this great stuff yet girls my age don't like me. What's up? It's upsetting. I want friends. |
Question: Can you help me, please? Posted: 16 Apr 2018 09:17 PM PDT I have been dating my girlfriend for 8 months and she is the sweetest thing ever. She is 23 and loves kids and is really down to earth and classy. The thing is, she is pretty innocent and a "good girl." Whenever we are intimate or just acting flirty, sometimes I will call her my "bad girl" or my "dirty girl," and that will absolutely drive her wild. She gets the biggest smile on her face and she kisses me more passionately. Why would she do this when I call her that? Also, she doesn't ever cuss, but loves to cuss in bed. Why? |

Question: Why is he shy around me, but not everyone else? Posted: 16 Apr 2018 08:05 PM PDT I have been playing on a coed soccer team the last 6 months. We are all friends on the team but there is a guy who caught my interest when I first started playing. He seemed really shy/reserved but I noticed he was very talkative with everyone else. He would look at me or laugh when I said something, but he was still reserved around me. He would start to come up and initiate conversations when we were in a group and would joke or pat me on the arm when talking about a play. I am a friendly person and I get along with everyone on the team. At first I thought maybe he didn't like me, but since he initiates conversations now, I don't think that was the case. I found out he has been dating someone on and off, so I of course am not interested anymore, but a part of me does wonder why he acts that way around me but not the other females on the team. Can anyone help out with why they think he acted that way? Thank you! (We are 19 and 21 years old) |

Question: How to deal with this type of friend? Posted: 16 Apr 2018 07:59 PM PDT I met this girl last year and we pretty much clicked right away. I was freshly 21 and she was a bit older, and introduced me to the bar and club life. So for a few months, thats what we did every weekend. I then realized that life wasnt for me and I dont enjoy drinking that much. I began to notice how much she actually does drink. She drinks at least 2-3 beers a day. And constantly wants to go somewhere that sells alcohol. We went on a trip and all she wanted to do was drink but i did not want to because i did not want to feel sick during our trip. And now it seems every time we hang out, drinks need to be involved. She is also very conceited, and believes every guy thinks shes cute and wants to hit on her. Shes pretty dont get me wrong, but its annoying always hearing about it when we are together. She is also very competetive with me and likes to be the one on top at all times. She did not even congratulate me on some educational successes. Im just not sure if this friendship is benefitting me in any way or if there is a way to salvage this? Thanks guys! |

Posted: 16 Apr 2018 07:59 PM PDT So my friend got a new number and I never had her old WhatsApp now she made a WhatsApp, and she automatically appeared on my list. Did I appear on hers too ? Question: Is it okay to email your therapist once in a blue moon after ending therapy? Posted: 16 Apr 2018 07:33 PM PDT I don't want to be friends, but I care about her and I would like to know that she exists if that makes any sense. I'm not going to email her like crazy or ask for advice. Just a hi how are you message once every year or so... do you think that would be appropriate. Maybe if a huge life event happens ( like marriage ) I could share it with her just because... would that be okay? I would never want to bother her with my messages, and I don't think it's appropriate to be friends. I just want to know that she is well and messaging her would give me comfort. What do you think? |
Question: How to deal with an obsessively clingy friend? Posted: 16 Apr 2018 07:22 PM PDT This girl I've been friends with for less than a year has decided we're best friends and has started getting extremely needy. I've discovered she's extremely insecure & incapable of being alone. I also think I'm one of her only friends. She texts me almost every single day now asking to hang out ... and the thing is I not only have a lot of other friends I like to hang out with too, but I'm also very independent and enjoy my alone time/hobbies. When I tell her I'm busy she wants to know exactly what I'm doing, and if she knows I'm with another friend she drops hints that she wants to join us. I finally set a lunch date with her for 2 weeks from now, hoping she'd leave me alone since we now had upcoming plans, but she still wants to know if I'm available almost everyday . It's driving me insane, & yet I'm trying my hardest not to be mean to her. What do I do??? I really don't want to see her more than 1-2x a month MAX (and even that's becoming too much). |
Question: Can you guys give me some friendship advice? Posted: 16 Apr 2018 06:55 PM PDT I have a group of friends, we are a group of 3, lets call the boy, Edward and the girl Izzy. I recently started crushing on Edward, but it isn t that deep. The problem is that I always feel like a third wheel around them. And i just realized it when my teacher changed our seats into rows of pairs. Both of them sat together, and I sat alone behind them. I felt hurt. And the fact is that the day before I was sitting with Izzy and now she sat with Edward. Im feeling a mix of emotions, like I feel angry and jealousy towards Izzy, and anger towards Edward but also I feel sad because I m that last priority to them and makes me feel not worth it. I don t know what to do. |
