Question: What to do about a passive aggressive roommate? Posted: 13 Apr 2018 04:23 PM PDT I moved in with my cousins about 6 months ago and one of them let's call her Lisa is passive aggressive and would talk to my other roommate Steve about how I annoy her. I confronted her a few times and she apologized. But continues to have this entitled personality. I guess it's been a few days since I've done the dishes and while o was sleeping she was screaming to Steve about me. How should i approach this and should i move out?
Posted: 13 Apr 2018 04:22 PM PDT Me and my friends drove to another school and were chilling with some friends there, but a huge fight popped off with some girls, so we left the school because that can get us in serious trouble. The next day the school contacted my school and showed them surveillance videos of me and our friends (our uniforms). Turns out the fight at the school involved girls from our school too, so they were looking For everyone in our schools uniform. We weren't doing anything really wrong and when the fight started we even left. The next day I got called to the office where they asked me about what happened. They asked who drove me and who I was with, but I wasn't trying to get any of my friends in trouble so I told them I ubered to the other school and back, and they kept saying how they know I wasn't alone there and how they saw videos of everyone else and that it's pointless for me to lie. After that I jus stayed quite cuz I didn't wanna say anything jus in case they were bluffing. I ended up getting suspended because I wouldn't tell them the truth and my mom was super mad that I'm not telling the truth to the principals. But I wouldn't wanna tell because literally everyone that I know who has snitched, has ended up dead or beaten badly. What would u guys do?
Posted: 13 Apr 2018 03:44 PM PDT So long story short: My best friend Nathan is in love with me since we were like 10. I love him in a brother/sister way but nothing more.Last may we graduated high school and he joined the Marines. I enrolled in college instead. We were able to see each other before he was sent to Iraq 2 weeks ago. He had 2 weeks free before leaving. The night before he reported to the base before leaving for Iraq we were together as all of his friends organized him a party basically to tell him to stay safe and wish him good luck. We had so much fun, made a video of his funny moments in high school and stuff. When the party was over he offered to drive me home. Then out of the blue, completely,he asked me "Why don't you love me? I love you. I'd be a good boyfriend". It hit me because he never said he loved me except from when he told me he was in love with me,which was like 5 years ago. I didn't know what to say and just smiled and said "Nathan?? What's with you tonight?" and he smiled back but it was bittersweet. I didn't want to break the heart of someone who the next morning would leave to go to war. Now I feel guilty because his friends told me that he took it bad and he was sad about it when they drove him to the station. Any advice? What would you say if someone you don't love but who you love as a friend would ask you that? Plus if I figure out what to write to him,any chance that he can go to Facebook once he's in Iraq?
Question: Please help asap! Need advice!? Posted: 13 Apr 2018 01:51 PM PDT So...I've been best friends with this girl for over a year coming on two years. We had some trust issues in our friendship that resulted in a falling out that involved our parents. Our parents decided it was best if we were no longer friends and didnt hangout anymore. But we decided we would do whatever it takes to be besties and stay in contact. We text through a app our parents dont check and will do whatever it takes. We started dating a little over 4 months ago. We are VERY close. But we have to hangout and text in secret. Today, her mom caught us walking home from school together. And they decided we can only be together in school. Which we are every minute possible. But i was thinking since its been a while since the falling out ( it was at beginning of December ) that maybe i should text her mom and apologize and come clean that I really want to hangout woth her again. Any advice and what should i sau to her mom? What do i do? Please help! I love her very much and want to be be with her again without sneaking and lying

Question: SUPER PARANOID PLEASE HELP!? Posted: 13 Apr 2018 09:56 AM PDT Hey. I am 16, have OCD & maybe anxiety ?? Idk. My OCD keeps me awake at night because I have to check my phone & social media Many times, else something bad is gonna happen. Keeps me up for hours... anyway that's not the point. So I used to send nudes. To my online friends, we'd skype and stuff so don't tell me they're fake anyway I have a huge fear of accidentally sending them to one of my school group chats on Snapchat. I no longer send ANY form of pictures. Not at all. But I'm super paranoid that in the past I may have sent some by accident even tho I check many times before I sleep that nothing has been sent. & surely if I had sent them, then someone would have said something. People haven't had any issues with me or acted any differently to me. It's like there's something in my head telling me I did it even tho I know I didn't. I just need reassurance. Doesn't help that the other day, i was walking through a crowded outside area and as I walked past some people I think I heard someone say 'is that her'. But there was so many people. It could have been about anyone. And so then in class I was paranoid and felt like people were talking about me. Today, someone airdropped me some memes but they had their airdrop set as 'send me pics' and so Ofc I started panicking. I'm such a worrier! Ughhhhhh my friend said people airdrop memes all the time , there are 2,200 students at my school. Happens a lot apparently but I'm just so worried. Help! No dumb answers please.
Posted: 13 Apr 2018 06:47 AM PDT My bff and I have been best friends since were thirteen. We have been hanging out secretly for dozens of times(since my parents doesn't approve our friendship). Though I can successfully sneak out and meet her most of the time,I don't think this is a good method. I am really tired of lying to them that I have to do something(e.g. dance practice ) and get myself out of the house. Is there a way to get my parents approve our friendship? As for the problem that she brings me trouble, I think I am the one who causes troubles for both of us. I once climbed into my classroom by using the windows. My bff just followed my example. I knew it's wrong to do so but I just did it without thinking( I'm slightly ADHD) and gave us both warning letters from the school. When my mom scolds me, she blamed my bff and said that it must be her idea.I tried to explain to her but she just told me to stop defending my friend. Not long after that incident, my bff tricked those who bullied me by putting their textbooks in others lockers and send them arguing and breaking up. I told my mom, hoping that she would change her attitude, but this time she told my dad to talk to me along with her. They said she's a bad influence and I should stay away from her, blah blah blah. They told me this every day at every time and I just can't stand them anymore. i also suspect that they hate her because she's a Protestant and my parents are catholic. My mom hates Protestants very much.
Question: Should I gave or not gave the girl Bruno Mars tickets? Posted: 13 Apr 2018 06:05 AM PDT We being dating around 3 months. I did promise her to take her to Bruno Mars on our 2nd date. But by the 5th and 6th date, I don't feel that spark. We don't talk much. We still haven't kissed or even hold hands. I'm second guessing myself if I should even gave her the tickets? Don't know what to do.

Question: Should I stop contacting them? Posted: 13 Apr 2018 03:27 AM PDT So I really want to be friends with old classmates from middle school. The problem is, is we live all over the state we live in. I contact them once in a blue moon and it seems like they'll reply for a little bit, then stop. What have I done wrong? Why won't they be friends with me? And I'm always polite to them. We all were in a special education class together for a few years. They don't live really far away but I'm sure we can figure something out if we hung out. I have not seen them since I was 14 (I'm 25 now). One of them is friends with another old classmate and I'm jealous. Someone told me I should not reach out to them again for a while because they may get the hint that I'm wanting friends. And that they may feel like I'm bothering them. I met up with another old classmate a few years ago, it was nice. But after we hung out he texted me less and I haven't heard from him since then. He did know I wanted friends. I can't let them go for some reason.
Question: How do I stop my friend from being drugged and possibly poisoned to death? Posted: 13 Apr 2018 02:53 AM PDT My friend was coming to my house, hiding from his ex-girlfriend for a month or more.I didn't hear from him 2 months when I got a call from a mutual friend asking me to check on our friend. I went to his house, he had turned purple, lost weight, stopped bathing, stopped working, stopped eating regularly, started drinking all day and night, and was nodding out throughout the day. He mumbled, had memory loss, had trouble speaking and walking, was not thinking clearly and kept repeating that he wanted to go to sleep and never wake up. I suspected his ex was drugging him with opiods and possibly poisoning him so I text her twice but she wouldn't reply. I finally called her but before I accused her, she says, "I'm not drugging him". Wow, I hadn't mentioned that, yet, she said it. She also said to me, 3 times throughout our conversation that "he is going to die! ". Also that the people who mattered had gone to an attorney to handle his estate. Also, she had been there the last two months without going home as he had asked her to "come home to me baby", and she didn't want to abandon him. I spoke with him about what she said, but he's too out of it to really comprehend or he doesn't care". What I see does not match what she says. It makes no sense that he was hiding from her, then he drops out of contact and has asked her to move back in with him but is now drinking himself to death and according to her is going to die. Is it just me or is something not right about this picture?
Question: Isn't my friend an idiot? Posted: 13 Apr 2018 02:26 AM PDT She had bad experiences as child and teen(abuse and stuff). She is kind of an introvert. Doesn't go out much, party or anything and has only a few friends. I have been friends with her for years now and she is comfortable with me. She mentioned that she would never intentionally hurt another person. "I know bad experiences turn some people bitter, generally people aren't born this way. Due to experiences some people become cold-hearted and stop caring...I don't want to do that though. I remember what it felt like at the moment when I was hurt, I could never do that to another person. I mean I don't want to be close another person because there are bad people in this world but I don't wanna hurt anyone ever." Isn't she just trying to be too much of a "goodie good"? She won't survive. She is going to get screwed over again and again by people and/or end up lonely. We live in such a world where you have hurt others to be happy, there is no other option. She is a grown up who thinks like an innocent kid, which is stupid.

Question: How do I tell my friend about being more polite in public when I'm with her? Posted: 13 Apr 2018 12:05 AM PDT For example, today we were in line at a grocery store and she asked a lady if she could cut in line because she only had one item, the lady said no and my friend said, snobby *****. and she has done similar things like this in the past like one time she was trying to talk a cashier down a price because she couldn't afford an item and it was creating a LONG line and I felt so embarrassed and felt obligitated to just pay for the shirt to cue the embarrassment. She didn't even say thank you or anything How can I help become more polite in public?
Question: How to become friends with someone you barely know/see? Posted: 12 Apr 2018 09:35 PM PDT I recently met someone at work that seemed like a pretty cool guy, problem is, we work in different departments, so, we barely get to talk (doesn't help that he is a higher up in management). so, I don't really know how to approach/get to know him, any suggestions or is it a lost cause? I dont even know what they like (thats how little we talk), plus, I was told that its not wise to just go up to someone you barely know and ask them if they want to hang out
Question: How would you feel if you had a friend like this? Posted: 12 Apr 2018 07:50 PM PDT a friend who brags about having a lot of guy friends brags about having sex brags about meeting guys through tinder and getting hookups brags about drinking sends annoying selfie snaps when she is drunk with her friends brags about getting hickies brags about going to college parties she changed a lot after becoming friends with new people at her school and it is so annoying. she always talks about herself and when i try to talk about my and tell how my life is going she then just seems to ignore what i said and talks about her life and people she met.. she is also really naive and she doesnt seem to know that.. i just stop replying when she talks about these things. she then starts talking about other stuff and then randomly goes on to one of these topics over and over. she says the same thing every day. everytime. im so annoyed.

Question: How to not be jealous of your best friends? Posted: 12 Apr 2018 07:05 PM PDT poorly worded question, but I've been best friends with this girl for about two years when we met another girl who we werent close with. This year us three became really close and we really became the ultimate trio. The thing is that girl would never spend time with just one of us alone, we would always function as a trio. so junior year, the third year, they started going home with each other since they live close to each other, which was fine by me and i was unbothered. we're all best friends, after all. then they started talking about things i didn't get in front of me, started saying inside jokes in front of me, and i found out on their ride home they talk about very deep things with each other, which i stopped doing ever since we became a trio. and me and my best friend continued being great best friends until we uninstalled snapchat, and i know it shouldnt affect our friendship but somehow it did, now theres always this awkward vibe between us and we would fake laugh and before id talk to my friend id list the things i would talk to her about. this doesnt happen for other friendships i have. but between my best friend and my new best friend its just...they understand each other a lot. and im just sad because me and my best friend were really the ultimate best friends...we had plans for our future as best friends and it was just amazing. then she came. i love my new best friend but i just...feel left out now, since they spend so much time with each other.

Question: Why does my best friend have a boyfriend and I don't? Posted: 11 Apr 2018 06:24 PM PDT She's a pretty girl, she has big boobs and a small waist, she's funny, and she's (book) smart. On the other hand, she's emotionally volatile and often gets depressed randomly. Because of this, she'll randomly shut down in restaurants and get really quiet and sad, forcing everyone to go home because no one wants to drag her around the city as she mopes. Also every time you confront her about anything, even if it's something minor like wanting space to yourself to study or a bad habit of hers, she'll emotionally manipulate you into forgiving her by acting like she had absolutely no clue and she's depressed at the thought of her doing something to make you potentially hate her. She's also really blunt and dismissive of her boyfriend under the justification that she's a feminist and sees him as her equal, even though she always treats her boyfriend like he's inferior to her. I'm not perfect, but I have a slim figure, naturally curly hair, I'm emotionally intelligent, also have a good sense of humor, am not fragile, and not to toot my own horn, am smarter than she is. How is it that she found someone before I did?
