Question: Mom taking advantage of me..HELP?!? Posted: 13 Apr 2018 01:23 PM PDT Just gave birth two months ago, to make the story short, I havent talked to my family for eight months and then we reunited and things got better. However, I bring my son to their house every week and spend the night with him there, so they can see him. Today, my dad came out of surgery and I rushed from far with my child to watch him while my mom had to take care of errands. Next thing, Im halfway to her house n my mom says to wait there, my brother will pick me up. I feel taken advantage of. My brother was home the entire time and I rushed to my parents house, out of the sake of my sick dad. It isnt right, my brother lives in their house and couldnt take care of my dad? I have no issue caring for my dad and doing for my family. I just feel wronged that Im coming all the way from far with my child and heavy bags to rush so early toy parents house to care for my dad....when my brother was there the entire time How can I approach this situation so that I will not be taken advantage of again?
Question: Why are my family SO RETARDED?!? Posted: 13 Apr 2018 12:13 PM PDT My Mum is always bickering in my face and bossing me around, my Dad is always blaming it on me when the heating doesn't work, my younger Sister is always dancing around the place and getting in my way. And she thinks she's so much better than me just because she was more sucessful in school. Why are they all so retarded. WHYYY?? @? As I implied, I still live with my parents. I am not married or have never had sex. No. I don't like any of them. I will NEVER get along. They're all idiots! They suck! @Faith, I haven't done anything wrong -.- My family are all just being gits and they know it.
Question: Family member is broke and asking for more money.....? Posted: 13 Apr 2018 11:50 AM PDT My family member constantly asks for stuff and refuses to get a job and her 18 year old son. They throw a pity party when they come over, complaining of no money and that they wished they had a big house. The husband works but only gets $500 a week and they have 2 kids and living in a very run down/moldy apt. Why do they keep wanting sympathy and not find jobs. I would never constantly ask people for stuff if I didn't have a job.

Question: Why cant I ever get the girls I like to chat me back online? Posted: 13 Apr 2018 09:22 AM PDT I am a good looking guy. Im not the best at talking but I can at least keep up a convo. But rarely do any of these chicks interact back.its always like Hey! I whatsup? I love your hair etc. They ll say hi thank you or somethimg short like that and I will try to move the convo along with a simple question but the convo goes nowhere. Its like girls have a 1 second attention span and I cant get it! I dont understand why you would talk to someone amd barely even reply its like every girl that replies so it must be me? Thanks! Any replies are appreciated thank you.
Question: Does she show signs of interest? Posted: 13 Apr 2018 09:18 AM PDT So, i have a crush whom I've known for over a year now but never talked a lot with her. I wanted to know if she shows signs of interest by telling how she reacts to my approaches etc. So today we were going home (She lives really close to me), and she was walking ahead of me. So i built up courage and asked her if its true that our homework should be done in a week and she said yes, but didn't smile or anything, then i joked saying you look a little angry and she smiled while showing it to me (I couldn't see her face when she was ahead of me, so she turned her head around and showed a smile, i would guess) and it was quite after that and we walked further. So she isn't exactly the type to smile a lot at me but when i say something like jokes or say something funny, she would start smiling and sometimes have a laughing face. There was a case similar to this 3 days ago when i asked her for fun to joke about the new positions because her new position is between two guys and i said that i feel sorry for her to make her laugh and she smiled through the whole short conversation. So i wanted to know if she shows signs of interest in me. There are a lot more things that she do that i think might be signs of interest, but its too long to tell about. Hope you can help me.

Question: Would you be happy being the one that always pays for things? Posted: 13 Apr 2018 08:15 AM PDT I love my girl to death but she claims she has all this credit card debt and can't keep up with my life style of traveling and stuff. I told her I don't expect you to pay for even half but contribute a little. She makes a big deal about 100.00 towards a 2 thousand dollar trip. Every single one of my friends says she is using me. I want to believe that she loves me because she never really asks to go anywhere its all my idea but she don't pay for ****! She has all these designer cloths that she claims was given to her by some beautique store 20 years ago but yet Iv'e been with her way over a year and these cloths look brand new and I've never seen her wear the same thing twice. It really causes trust issues. My mom says she is just living the life buying all these clothes claiming to be broke and I'm paying for everything. Can someone please help me out on this one?
Question: How can we convince our mom that our friend is not a horrible influence? Posted: 13 Apr 2018 07:48 AM PDT I'm a 15 year old girl and my brother is 12. We used to hang out at this man's house. We had the best time there together. Our mother has been too strict all the time since our parents divorced. We never have fun with her. Mom found out about him and said we can't go there ever again. She found out when my brother suddenly had $120 dollars that even I didn't know about. He admitted that our friend gave the money to him. She snatched it away and said she'll figure out what to do with the $120, but my brother can't keep it. I keep trying to point out that there are children out there who do drugs, alcohol, and doing dangerous dares that make them end up in the hospital! She'll cut me off and give me a face that reads NO. We can't see him or speak to him any more.
Question: How can I balance my work and being with someone? Posted: 13 Apr 2018 07:45 AM PDT I'm 21 Years old and I'm thinking of becoming an Emergency Dispatcher. I always wanted to help people and have decided maybe this can be for me. But the thing that bothers me are the odd hours I have to work. I want to move out of my parents house and move into an apartment with my companion. What else bothers me is that: will I have time for her? I don't want to leave her. I'm also not making sacrifices where our feelings will get hurt because in my perspective that is selfish. I want to make things work in life and have someone by my side. I need support. I want to start my own family in the future. I don't want to come home from work to a quiet apartment and have no one to sit down and talk to. I have a long distance cousin that is engaged to a Security Guard who works odd hours. I have no idea how they work their way around things. Can somebody tell me how I can I balance this line of work and being with her?
Question: Is it fair for a parent to expect thier kids to do things they couldnt? Posted: 13 Apr 2018 07:26 AM PDT My parents didnt go to college when they were my age, by my age they already had kids. Im 19 and they expect me to work a full-time job as well as go to college full time. I feel overwhelmed but they say that its not that hard. I always argue if it wasn't hard everyone would be rich, which they counter that its just noone feels like doing the work. If we were poor I would understand them wanting me to work to pay bills around the house, but we are well off because they attended college recently in thier mid 30's and have gotten promotions, and want me to just experience it for the **** of it. They provide no financial support whatsoever, and I feel like its a bit unfair considering the **** ups they had in the past. Maybe im just being a whiney kid who needs to grow up, but in my eyes I dont see why this is all necessary. All I want is to go to school like everyone else without stressing over work on top of it, I feel like they appreciate my efforts considering where they were when they were my age. I meant to put I feel like they should* appreciate my efforts not that they do, which is my problem.

Question: Should I let go of the toxic people in my life? Posted: 13 Apr 2018 06:26 AM PDT I have suffered for years trying to keep friends who don't respect me. They don't keep secrets, are quick to put what they think is my business out in the street and talk crap about me behind my back. One of them likes to argue with me alot and speaks to me in a condescending tone whenever they don't get their way. They have become more focused on partying and being popular then they are on maintain healthy relationships with people. Some people are telling me that I'm wrong to just abandon them after all of these years of friendship. I should take their feelings into consideration but I'm feeling like people are telling me that I'm wrong for feeling the way that I do and I should just suck it up. Am I wrong to just let it go after all of these years?
Question: Is my family racist? Posted: 13 Apr 2018 04:09 AM PDT I have 9 uncles and aunts all married white. 24 cousins all married white. Two brothers married white. So many marriages and not one married a person of color. I had a conversation with them and everybody said they are against racism but how do you explain this
Question: I hate my brother? He’s annoying? Posted: 12 Apr 2018 11:06 PM PDT Ok so I'm a 18 year old girl and my little brother is 16 and is such an immature loser. So last night my parents told us clean the house and all he did was swept the floor. I cleaned the whole kitchen was every dish and the bathrooms. He's also not a man at all, I told him I needed help lifting a heavy microwave and he pretended that his leg hurt and didn't even help. I'm a 5'2 girl so I struggle and hurt my arm lifting the heavy microwave and he didn't even care. He's also immature and laughs at everything even if you tell something serious. He calls me fat even though I'm not, I'm only 125 pounds. He says I'm dumb but he gets failing grades while I have nearly all as A's and going to college this year. I don't understand him and I don't know what to do, he's my only sibling and I want us to get along but he's just so annoying and irritating to me. He's also my parents favorite, they take his side and scold me whenever we argue. Just want to know how to deal with a brother like this?
Question: I have to fill out a form for my daughters school.? Posted: 12 Apr 2018 10:09 PM PDT When registering my daughter for the next school year I was asked to fill out a form because I don't have any bill under my name at home. I live with my father for financial reasons and all bills are under his name and he is the homeowner and I am currently attending school. One of the questions states : Affirmation by parent with host family, please specify the reason(s) that you are living with the homeowner. I really don't know how to answer this, I can say that I'm living there for financial reasons or do they just want to know the relationship between me and the homeowner? I've tried to google it and some point to me replying how we are related. Please help?
Posted: 12 Apr 2018 09:12 PM PDT I'm a 15 year old girl who will turn 16 in two weeks. My physical development is delayed compared to most kids my age. I look fragile and vulnerable because of my size. According to medical history, my mom was pretty healthy then. She was 14 though!! Children aren't developed human beings, and I've heard of the health issues that come with children of teen moms. I reached puberty at 10 or 11, which is common enough today. There was a major growth spurt and hormonal change in 7th grade. Other than growing taller and my face might look a little older, my body is as skinny as ever. I look a little too pre-pubescent, like I'm still 12 years old.
Posted: 12 Apr 2018 07:33 PM PDT He is trying to get help but his wife will not support him so he keeps having relapses. She is ignorant as my father was.
Posted: 12 Apr 2018 07:32 PM PDT I don't mind avoiding her somewhat as she is narcissistic and uses people against others. However, I feel mad that my father is using me to get revenge on her as he and my mother have a long history of using me like this as a weapon. I don't want to be in trouble with them when I do see this aunt at family events. Outside of family time I don't mind avoiding her as she can be cruel especially since her divorce 7 years ago. So how do I get out this anger at my Dad using me as a pawn against my Mom's sister? I am 28 so how do I stick up for myself when he gets mad at me down the road for going somewhere she is?

Question: Brother Just Started Family Life Unit at School? Posted: 12 Apr 2018 06:10 PM PDT So my younger brother just started his first unit on family life. He tends not to hold back when he talks, so I know it will be awkward the first day he starts asking me questions. He will probably seek me out for answers because he will feel like I won't share our conversation with our parents. The problem here is that I will feel awkward when talking to him about it. What should I do?

Question: Signs that someone is high/using drugs? Posted: 12 Apr 2018 03:22 PM PDT Hi, I have an uncle who I don't really know too well. I just met him about three years ago when he moved in with us. He is my mom's younger brother, who is 35. He was in rehab for a while for being highly addicted to painkillers and he also used cocaine and shot up. (Injection drugs. I'm sorry that I sound so ignorant but I don't know too much about this topic) According to my mom he is clean and has been ever since he got out. But my other family members and my best friend who is at my house a lot believe he is still using. He has periods/days where he looks very sick. He will be sweaty, his eyes will often roll back on their own, he seems really drowsy, and one of my friend noticed marks on his arms, that she said were track marks. I'm not really sure because I don't know what they look like. But I do see the marks. On the days where he is like this he tends to eat a lot and then sleep for a long period. Other times he seems totally normal. But he has a day like this about 3-4 times a week. Another thing that made me suspicious is when I came home from school and tried to use the bathroom and he frantically ran in there before me and said he needed to clean up in there because he was in there and he seemed really nervous about it. He often stays in the bathroom for 30 minutes to an hour. I tried to talk to my mom but she got mad.. is he still on drugs or not? I fear for him, and my younger siblings. Please help!

Question: What can I do about my uncles gossiping and rumour spreading wife? Posted: 12 Apr 2018 04:49 AM PDT I'm 18 years old. and I just moved to a new neighbourhood with my family and my uncle and his family moved in next door. But uncles wife is always gossiping about others. So I stopped spending time with her and my uncles family. Recently I found out that she was spreading rumours about me. A good friend came and told me that she was befriending our new neighbours and trashing me to them. I thought that was a bit far fetched but when I would walk down the street and greet our new neighbours like I usually do, I saw that they had started to ignore me. And as I walked past I heard them mutter to themselves the same trash talk my good friend told me my aunt was say spreading about me. So what should I do about this woman? I've tried talking to my uncle about it but he wont believe me and also my parents tell me to just ignore her and they neighbours who are buying into her gossip.
