Question: Would this be wrong of me? Posted: 18 Apr 2018 02:08 PM PDT My partner and I got engaged a few months ago, my partners brother and his fiancé have been engaged a couple of years before us. We announced our engagement and 3 weeks later my partners brother and fiancé had planned and booked their wedding venue, despite no talk of their wedding before our engagement. They're not getting married until early 2020 but have booked almost everything already. My partner and I aren't wanting a big or expensive wedding and ideally would like to get married in summer next year, but I'm worried I would be stealing his brother and brothers fiancé's thunder? Despite them stealing ours after our engagement. I know his fiancé will be annoyed if we get married first, but I don't want to wait until after their wedding. Would it be wrong of us to plan and get married before them even though they have already planned theirs? |
