I'm going to go to a local meetup for geeks...but I'm not really a geek. I've spent a lot of time with geeks and I can geek-out when it comes to my interests (not geeky interests and not appropriate to discuss in polite company). I know a few people going just from their going to other meetups, I know from talking to one of them about this geek meetup that some of the others can be VERY geeky. So just wondering if I could get away with giving this meetup a try, if I can fake being a geek.

So my best friend (let's call her A) and my other friend ((B) we are good friends but not super close, she is a great friend tho!) are holding a birthday party together soon for their 15th's. I'm not sure what to get for either of them, especially B since I don't talk to her a lot. They are both girls. I want to get something sentimental for A though, and I also don't want B's gift to look like I don't care about her or anything. I can only spend $25 on both of their indiviual gifts. Any ideas? (i know it's hard to think of something since you guys don't know them, but please help me!!)

So my best friend of 15 years started dating a guy about 2 years ago, and stopped hanging out with me as much at that time, so we see eachother every 4 months or so now. Anyways, we hang out the other day and she tells me she dumped the guy of two years because she found a new guy at her work shes really attracted to. Thing is this guy is a total douche and is ALREADY MARRIED WITH A 7 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER. Nonetheless, this man still goes on dates with my friend and has sex with her. Though he warns my friend that he never intends to have a real relationship with her, she still is chasing him. And while we were hanging out this guy called her twice demanding her not to go on a date with someone else that night, and I even heard him call her a B*tch on the phone. Like this guy is completely bad news. On top of that my friend said she also started going out with her other girlfriend's on and off boyfriend, where he almost raped her as she was passed out on his bed after drinking a lot at a club. My friend never did stuff like this before. What the heck do I do (if theres anything) to stop my friend from being so stupid? Also my friend was saying things like, I love where I work because all the guys are all over me cause Im hot and have a great body, but none of them can have this. I only have my sights set on *insert that married guy I mentioned earlier name*...This doesn't even sound remotely like the person I knew just a year ago, like what the heck.

I hate throwing the 'oh she's jealous' card but recently I got scouted by this big modelling agency. Ive always been quite shy but now I have confidence and I've been doing lots of shoots and putting them up on Instagram, and recently some girls were calling me vain and that I'm obsessed with myself, some other girls were calling em a *****, I also saw one of my friends texted my other friends 'she's not even that pretty'. There's a group of white girls who are extremely mean to us. They call people in my group fat, overweight, bad dancers, weird, and many other bad things. This group of white girls love Donald trump are homophobic and islamophobic. They say homosexuality is disgusting and unnatural and say muslims are terroists. They also don't include me in so many things like in group chats or talking during class or rehearsals. They also don't invite the girls in my group to their parties. These white girls also think menstration is gross. They made fun of me for it. They also make fun of girls with curves and bigger boobs. They've made fun of one my friends for their boobs and then makes fun of girls with acne. When they were nicely called out by my friend they said they've never done what we said, which is a big lie. Now they are accusing me and it's very annoying since they say I'm spreading rumors, one of our dance teachers are going to talk to us about it. I still am very annoyed why does it matter who told on them it's the right thing to do. And since I'm a immigrant even though I'm legal Donald trumps polices could kick us out and these white girls refuse to believe it. This white girl group says they care about us but their lying about what they've said. If they can't say the truth we aren't as close as they say. I can't be friends with these girls because they open wounds and destroy my mental health. I don't know what to do anymore.

So basically I have this friend who I've known for almost a year now and she is very secretive. All she does is keep secrets and then says "Don't worry about it" when I ask her. She also says "I don't care" when I try to talk about my problems for a change. It's ******* annoying. I hate how I trust her and tell her alot of things, but she wont reciprocate. She makes me feel insecure so I have to censor what I say so I don't get the usual "Don't worry about it" response. Not only that, she keeps secrets with my two best friends so I'm the only one who isn't in the loop. The only time we talk is to annoy each other. I hate being left out. What she does is rude, especially since I thought we were good friends.

So I was playing Xbox with a couple friends. One of their dads died like about 4-5 months ago. okay so i used to be good friends with this one person, and i used to talk all the time, and we'd text back and fourth for hours. we would get into arguments, usually petty and stupid, but we would always make up. however, one day i didn't text back for a couple days, and since we would text every day, i think they thought i was ignoring them, and they got upset. i tried to explain that i didn't have my phone, but they didn't respond to me after that. we haven't talked since then. when i see them at school they don't talk to me, and they act like i don't even exist. i have no clue what to do. i really want to text them to apologize again or say hello, but i don't know if i should.

It's 2018 and in my high school everyone lives to there normal lives. I've never seen those stereotypical bullies anymore.Maybe a few 14 year old's jerks wanting attention but that's about it. When I was Grade 9 i was a victim of bullying but after Grade 10 none of that stuff ever occured. IF you call someone a slut they'll just take it as a compliment now a days. I just don't understand myself and how I roll with conversations.. it's just naturally in me, but I don't choose when I'm all social and happy making others smile. So back in Summer 2017, me and this girl I met at my job at McDonalds last year were best friends (I'm a boy and I was 17 and she was 15) but then we had a huge falling out in October, but we still followed each other on Snapchat. In November, I had another job and one day when I left she posted on her story a really grimy thing about me exposing my name out to all her friends and saying that I was "a fan of hers.", even though I never said anything about her and after that I unfollowed her. In January when I left for college, I was posting snaps and all of a sudden I see her name pop up on my list of people that saw it (I unfollowed her but she never unfollowed me I guess, or maybe its because my snapchat is public) and I was wondering why she watching it all of a sudden, even though I still wasn't watching hers. Flash forward to now, and she still occasionally watches my snaps and I finally looked at her slew of snaps last week when she was on spring break, so I guess her snap is public just like mine. I honestly don't know what this means...does she feel bad for our falling out and of what she posted about me those few months ago or is she jealous and want to see what I'm doing (we lived in GA but I left to AZ for college) or does she just want to view it just to see how I'm doing?
