Posted: 29 Apr 2018 06:45 PM PDT I have been with my boyfriend for two years. He lives 40 min away from me. It's always me commuting to sleepover at his house because my parents doesn't allow him to sleep at my house. He's 28 lives with his parents, is an RN and is thinking about going back to school for anesthesia. We plan to move to California as soon as I'm done with my masters in Occupational Therapy but my school isn't finished for another 2yrs and a half and his too. I can't commute anymore back and forth it's too much on me. Mileage on my car, gas goes like crazy, when he leaves work I go see him to sleep but when he leaves for work I leave and drive home 40 min bc it's his parents house. I said to get a place together but he sees it as throwing money away on an apartment when it could be saving for a house which I agree but I can't stand it anymore. I want to be with him. When I fall asleep I know he'll join me in bed since his shift is 3pm-11pm. I know it's throwing money away but I'd like to move with him and he does too. Also, should we move in before marriage or after marriage (like when he proposes start looking for a house to move in together) I know it's smart to move in before marriage to see if you can tolerate each other but studies have said that people who moved in before marriage has more divorces then not moving in before marriage. I don't know. Just give me advice. |
Posted: 29 Apr 2018 03:56 PM PDT So my husband and I got into this HUGE drama with my husbands family, where his mother harassed us every single day disgracing our marriage, trying to take my engagement ring back that she gave us, when we did nothing except not come over enough for her etc. etc., and it was taking a toll on our relationship big time, so we cut off contact with her. Thing is I just started a service where I paint people into classical paintings, and my husband's father messaged me and asked if I could make her a painting for mothers day. WHAAT THE HECK DO I DOOO?? Thank you for any response. |

Question: Any suggestions on how to give him space but me get attention? Posted: 29 Apr 2018 12:38 PM PDT My bf is OBCESSED with cars!!! He's ALWAYS in the garage fixing his cars. I often feel ignored. I'll sometimes sit at his house for HOURS doing nothing while he just fixes his cars. I want to come up with an equal balance so that he can have his time with his cars but also has time for me. I feel really rejected and like his cars are his entire life. Any suggestions? |
Posted: 29 Apr 2018 12:30 PM PDT I really can't deal with him anymore. All he does is being me down and complain. He acts like everything is dismal and horrible. I have enough problems myself. I don't need him making me feel like life sucks then you die. How can I put up with this until my son is 18? |

Question: Is it wrong of me to leave my older boyfriend??? Help? Posted: 29 Apr 2018 09:21 AM PDT realize that it is my decision in the end, however, I could truly use other people's inputs/opinions on the situation. I will try to sum it up as concisely as I can. I've been with my older boyfriend for 6 years now. I love him, but I don't feel in love with him. We have been going through tough times financially lately, but I've been sticking by his side. I'm 26 btw. (If it matters) I'm at a point where I feel like if I continue being where we are, I will never get to really enjoy my youth. Financially there's another guy who loves me and willing to take care of me. I like that guy, but I am caught between the devil and the deep blue sea. Will I be wrong for not sticking it out with my current man? I really do care about him and love him, where we moved to now just isn't working out :(. Idk....I am sick to my stomach:( |

Posted: 29 Apr 2018 08:28 AM PDT Well, I was in an abusive marriage, did all paperwork needed and moved out, I got my own place and a nice guy approached me. We went out and he was honest about his female friend living with him. He stated that they were not together and he didn't want to just put her out at the time. So I just thought ok, he's not happy and just want a fling. So, I went on with my life, taking care of my kids, and we went out but he never met my kids or anyone in my family. We were like each other secret. He did crazy **** like wanted me to meet his family but I'm like no because his so called female friend lived with him. I ended up stopping because they went on a trip....inhad to figure out a way not to fall in love...so I changed my number and didn t call him for 3 months, found another place and I'm thinking about dating someone new. The problem is I have feelings for this man and I don't know how it will stop. I called checking on him and he said he loved me and missed me. I told him that I want to happy now and find someone i can spend my future with and he got upset. We grabbed lunch like to friends...no sex...He looked at me and said I was his future. I just thought ...not again...no more of this....now he is calling and texting me constantly. I just have to find a way to move on and date other guys. |
Question: Why would he say something like this? Posted: 29 Apr 2018 07:18 AM PDT I was joking with my bf and told him he needed to be more romantic. He told me he used to be a romantic guy but kinda gave up on relationships and dating. Why would he say something like that? What does that even mean? We've been together almost a year. Am I just someone he's keeping around for company? |

Question: Rules regarding spousal use of VA disability money? Posted: 29 Apr 2018 01:01 AM PDT My husband and I have been married 49 years. He receives VA disability which is a decent amount. 3 months ago he took all the money from our joint account and had his check automatically deposited in his personal checking account. I am not on the account and so not have access to it. He has a friend that told him he could do it because his name only was on the check. We have used the money in a joint acct for 20 yrs and now I have been excluded, I an 79 yrs old and cannot get a job...he has ruined me. Any suggestions? We are not contemplating divorce so this is not part of the money. He just decided he wanted control. He has $1000 a month to blow on anything he wants and leaves me nothing. This is an absolute nightmare |
