So we are all seniors in high school and lately I feel like ive seen the true colors of some of my friends. They are cool and I love hanging out with them but sometimes they can frustrate me, Especially this past week. I am doing a fundraiser at my school for cancer research and me and my friends are a team/group. Hi, I'm 22 and I currently am going to school out of state and living on my own for the first time. My school is unique it's a golf school designed to get you a job in the industry, so it's pretty small only about 28 of us. I have been here for 3 months and everyone is nice and seemed welcoming at first, but now I feel like none of them like me to be honest I rarely get invited to do stuff and it is really sad sometimes. Back home I had a few good friends that I hung out with, but I have known them from a young age so I haven't really had to try and make new friends since I was a kid. My best friend has been making me ugly and bad about myself lately. People feel comfortable making smart A$$ comments to me when they are having a bad day. One example is I asked my Uncle when I can I visit his house I never been over there before and He replied "And You Wont" then another family member said "Oooh" . I was embarassed. Then he tried to fix it up and say no I have a bachelor pad and My apartment is not clean right now. So I'm sure everyone has one of those friends that everything comes to them easy. Especially in subjects like algebra. Well one of my friends completely understands the majority of what we do. She's got a wayyyy better grade than me. But she has a habit of complaining about her grades. She's always saying "Some people get mad at me when I get upset because I have a B. But a B is unacceptable to me." While I understand this it does get very annoying to hear someone complain about a grade I'd give anything to have. I am 20 and i use the appgrindr regularly, and whenever I message someone first who I find attractive, I don't get a message back 97% if the time.But then I get loads of messages everyday and 99.9% of those guys who message me first are either old, or I don't find them attractive.
