Question: How would you handle this situation being married? Posted: 18 Apr 2018 08:52 PM PDT Of course, I love my husband to death. He's my rock and everything is good between us. The only thing is I DON'T like his family members. They are really messy and I can't stand being around them. His mother is sweet and I love her. But cousins and etc, I get really uncomfortable at gatherings on his side of the family. I don't know if my husband can't tell but I try my hardest to play it off. He goes to my family gatherings and of course, I don't want to be one sided where he's going to everything on my side of the family & I don't attend his. I always go to what his family has and just bare through it. Any advice and should I talk to him about it? Thanks! |
Question: Help! He's confusing. Why is he actinig like this? Posted: 18 Apr 2018 07:51 PM PDT We broke up and when I tried going back(6 months ago) he said he wouldn't forgive me for saying something about his mom when he said something to mine first(idiotic).I didn't chase him. We ran into eachother one day i expected him to ignore but he smiled and said hi.Now he keeps looking at me, making eye contact and i caught him looking at me sneakily through the door crack. He's started coming out about the same time as I do and he said hi hesitantly and smiling. Few Sundays ago I was going down the stairs and he was behind me. He was "on the phone" saying he was leaving church and would call back which wasn't necessary since church was already over. I feel like he did it so I'd know he was behind me. We walked next to eachother he smiled and said how are you. We had a few exchanges and I asked him about his sick brother. The following week he didnt show himself inside church(he's a deacon) as I was leaving he was behind me going down the stairs. I turned around just saw a glimpse of him and turned back around didn't say hi. Last week he kept looking over at me and smiled when we locked eyes, he did the same thing today and smirked I smirked back. Why isn't he making a move though? Would he act like this if he wasn't interested? |
Posted: 18 Apr 2018 07:28 PM PDT My parent divorces when I was 3 (14 years ago) and I live with my mom who has primary custody and hardly ever see my dad and my half sister who I barely know. But now that I'm older and thinking about the future, I can't help but feel angry and almost petty towards him. Like I'm his oldest child, so I'll be the first the graduate (this year) but don't want the satisfaction of him saying that his daughter graduated and I'm going into a very hard to get into major, and I guess I don't want him to take anything away from me being his child. Like way in the future when I get married, I don't want him to walk me down the aisle, or whoever I'd be marrying asking for permission, or even my first child, I don't want to give him the title of a grandparent or anything like that. Is it wrong to feel this way? Does anyone else's feel this way about their divorced and non primary parent? (And yes, there are a lot of unresolved issues there, but we've tried to work stuff out for years.... it never works.) |
Question: Inappropriate parents inlaw? Posted: 18 Apr 2018 07:24 PM PDT Me and my husband live with his grandma, she owns the house but it's in our name when she dies. His mom and stepdad live here as well. His mom and stepdad are so inappropriate they have sex real loud, then come into the bedroom after and ask me how good it sounded, they also scream arcoss the house about ******* each other, his stepdad leaves the bathroom door open when he's in there and then tells me I need to knock on our door before walking out because it's inappropriate for me to walk by the bathroom while he's in there. He gets angrily abusive when you try to tell him that he's on the wrong he kicks my dogs and I don't know what to do. Me and my husband's having a talk with his grandma while their at work tomorrow but I don't know if it'll do any good. Any advice? |

Question: Is it normal for men to not turn women away while they are in a relationship ? Posted: 18 Apr 2018 12:36 PM PDT Been married 3 years and dated for 2. We met in college and then worked together for a few years before we started dating, this I thought was a good thing because we got to really know each other well. However, here's my problem. While he may not be openly flirtatious with women, he will not turn down the flirtations and innuendos of a woman. If a woman decides to hug him a tight goodbye, he is ok with that, if she sees a piece of food on the corner of his mouth and wipes it off with her finger, he won't stop her. He also gives his phone number to other women and while he won't text them first, he will text them back and if they flirt first he reciprocates. It's gotten as far as a lap dance by one of his female friends when we went out for drinks just 2 weeks back. Is this normal behavior in most men ? |
Question: I was with a co worker over our holiday break, I ended up sleeping with him? Posted: 18 Apr 2018 10:24 AM PDT No way was I going to pass on this guy, the thing is, he was very large and I'm still very sore down there, My husband wants sex but I don't, do men know if a girl has been with a bigger guy? I'm just sore, not stretched out, at least I don't think I am. |
Question: My wife refuses to come home said she’s had enough? Posted: 18 Apr 2018 08:34 AM PDT My wife and I moved a year ago. She lost her job after 3 months due to the company going bankrupt and then picked up a job covering someone on maternity leave until December. Since then, she's been unemployed. We are in a resort town and the job offers she's been getting have been for $8/$9 hr. She has a Masters Degree. The job market here for her degree is really bad. We were renting and lost our rental property in a fire back in November. We had major major issues with the rental company. We've since purchased a home. My wife left a negative review on their website and the company created a public forum bashing all those who wrote badly about their company. The things they said were AWFUL about my wife and other prior tenants. I plan to get a lawyer involved. My wife said she can't tale it anymore here. She left and drove 4 hours to be back in the city with her sister. She's refusing to come back. We have a house I have my job I'm not sure what to do. She's VERY depressed. Does anyone have advice? |
Question: Parents forbid my husband and I from having kids? Posted: 18 Apr 2018 08:06 AM PDT So not sure why these kinds of weird things happen to me but here goes... My husband and I got married about 9 months ago. We are young, age 22 but have been together for 8 years, own a home and are financially stable. So now, we were possibly thinking about adding a little addition to our family. We would like to have kids fairly young, that way we can do everything with them while we are young and will still be young for our grandkids someday. Well, not that it's totally their business, but while out to eat with both our parents, they slipped in a "We just hope you guys don't plan to have kids for 8 years or so" Well the looks on our faces must have given us away and they realized that we were planning to have a baby within a year. Next thing i know they start flipping out and yelling saying that we are not allowed or permitted to have a baby right now and yelling that we MUST wait to have a child. They couldn't give us any other explanation other than "because thats just how it should go!!!" Both sets of parents love us as their own child and is so happy we are married so its not like they disapprove of the marriage. And they even admit how proud they are of our financial stability. So why am i being forbidden to have a child when me and my husband feel we are ready in every way? And yes I know how hard work and expensive babies are. What should we do?? Theyre rly adamant about this and I'm not sure why. Should we just hold off another 8 years then? We're lost Thanks! |
Question: How can i marry a muslim woman when i am not? Posted: 18 Apr 2018 06:14 AM PDT Currently i am doing as much research on the subject; but the more help i can get; the better. I am currently dating an african muslim woman while myself being a Puerto Rican man. (Who used to be christian. I say "used to be", because my believes wondered off) (i still respect all religions just in case) So i really love this woman and she loves me. We want to go as far as getting married and beyond, but her religion does not allow it. I don't plan on becoming muslim nor she plans on betraying her believes. If anyone out there has at least some ideas on how we can make this possible without making anyone mad it would be awesome. I don't see why true love should be ruined just because a book said so. Thank you in advanced. Ps. The idea of "Stay with her, just don't get married" came across my mind, but the marriage is a must. |

Question: I left but went back to my husband and I was instantly miserable! What should I do? Posted: 17 Apr 2018 11:49 PM PDT My husband and I have been together off and on for 13 years. We've been married for a little over 2 and a half years. My husband is a paranoid schizophrenic with several other mental and physical issues. Our sex life has been nonexistent since almost right after we got married. He is sterile and wont agree to use using a sperm donor to start a family. Instead he insists on putting me through IVF which is much worse of the body. I don't want a child with his issues. I would love the child but why intentionally bring a child in the world that would live in constant mental and physical pain if it took after it's father? My husband is unable to work and I and the sole bread winner. The sole housekeeper. The everything. It was not like this when we got married. He would have rough patches, but would get through it. I feel like I am on my own caring for a child instead of working through life with a loving partner. I left him Friday, and he was so miserable and pathetic. I couldn't stand the pain I'd caused him, so two days later I went back, and have regretted it ever since. He is not the man I married. I feel bad for wanting to be away from him but I don't even want him to touch me anymore. He has put me through so much and I just want to be happy again and have the life I deserve. I don't know what to do because I love him so much, but he in incapable of being what I need in a partner. I told him I needed a partner. Someone I can depend on. He responded, "You can't have it all." |
Question: My professor is leaving his wife and kid for me (please read it before you judge me)? Posted: 17 Apr 2018 10:37 PM PDT I know there's so many things wrong with this. First of all he's my professor I'm his student, we shouldn't be dating because it's against the rules and its a conflict of interest. He has power over me so obviously I know we shouldn't be dating. But everything was fine and he treated me fairly and even though he gave me additional help outside of class he didn't just give me an A that I didn't deserve. I worked really hard. He just told me that he's divorcing his wife to be with me. He never told me this until now. I didn't even know he was married and had a 5 year old. I'm hurt that he's kept all this from me and I don't know if I can trust him again. Basically I was the other woman unknowingly and I feel like ****. Even though he's leaving his wife for me and not vice versa, it still feels awful. I can't believe I broke a family. He said he would have left sooner or later because he was unhappy. Well I don't see why he couldn't just be honest with me from the beginning. I don't know what to do. In the heat of the moment I told him it was over but he doesn't think so and he's trying to get me back. I think he should be with his family. I do love him but I can't take him away from his wife and kid. But he says he's not happy in his marriage anyways and wanted to leave a long time ago and will leave either way. He says he's divorcing her. I don't know what to do. I know the smart and clear choice is to leave him. Adultery and leaving his child beside, he also lied to me. |
Question: Isn't it so sad that the majority of Catholics practice artificial birth control? Posted: 17 Apr 2018 10:36 PM PDT The Catholic Church has consistently taught for time immemorial that the primary purpose of marriage is procreation. Though, the vast majority of Catholics unfortunately ignore the Church's teaching on marriage. Most Catholics practice artificial contraception and are therefore committing mortal sins. This means that most Catholics no longer have trust in God's divine providence. So many Catholics think that they have the right to "plan" their family, whereas the Catholic norm is to let God plan one's family and to accept the children when (and if) God gives them, as a blessing from Him on the martial union and on society. Isn't it so sad that the majority of Catholics practice artificial birth control? |
