Question: Why am I always being judged for being quiet? Posted: 30 Apr 2018 05:17 PM PDT I'm always being judged for being quiet and to myself and I dont understand?... currently I'm in my dorm room and I hear my roomates friend outside of the room. They notice my light on my room is on. And I hear them say "shes so weird. she doesn't talk to anyone always in her room." Pretty sure they didn't think I could hear them. What the hell is wrong with being quiet and to myself? I like spending time in my room alone because its just who I am. I don't understand why im always being judged for who I am and I dont understand why I'm supposed to be loud and hyperactive to be accepted? edit: forgot to mention that the way Im judged brings me close to tears. Im so tired of people saying im weird for being quiet. |
Question: So my Gf is really starting to annoy me.? Posted: 30 Apr 2018 01:24 PM PDT Here's an example: She's 32 years old we were on the phone for an hour today and during 10 minutes of it we weren't saying anything it was silent. I wanted to get off the phone because there were better things I could do with my time other than stay on the phone in silence. why does she give me a hard time about getting off the phone? I thought that was high school behavior? It really pissed me off because I was on a business cal and she kept calling my phone after I had to forcefully hang up on her. I felt very disrespected. |

Question: How to convince parents to let me travel with someone they do not know but I do? Posted: 30 Apr 2018 12:13 PM PDT I got invited to go to Germany with a friend. He is going to pay for my ticket. I met him at college but my parents don't know who he is or anything. Yet, I am making plans to go to Germany because I want to travel. My parents don't know. How should I go about this? |
Question: Embarrassing videos of me online, please help!? Posted: 30 Apr 2018 10:18 AM PDT when i was 9 or 10 i posted some really cringey and embarrassing videos on youtube. i've tried everything to remove them, flagged, tried the recovery email and it just won't work. i've forgotten the email and password so there is really nothing i can do anymore. i feel super anxious and i can't breathe sometimes when the sudden hush of fear overwhelms me if someone were to find them. some of my friends have already stalked me to the point where they find really old photos and i feel so embarrassed seeing all of that. right now i just want advice on what to do if they start spreading the embarrassing video of me to others. |
Question: Why did he randomly stop talking to me? Posted: 30 Apr 2018 10:06 AM PDT So a few years ago I became reconnected with an old classmate from middle school. We hung out and it was nice, everything seemed to go well. But after we hung out I never heard from him again. He'd text me less and sometimes wouldn't respond at all. I did make it clear I wanted friends, so maybe he just didn't want that. I know his job kept him traveling a lot. We also don't live in the same town. Before we reconnected, I hadn't seen him since 2006. We hung out in 2014. Why did he stop contacting me? Should I contact him? |
Question: I think my friend ditched me to go to a party. Should I confront her? Posted: 30 Apr 2018 08:12 AM PDT I have a best friend (same age) and we re pretty close. Sometimes she is distant, but she says that it s because of work. She also went through a hard time this year when her grandmother died at the same time that she broke up with her boyfriend. I also have a boyfriend, and the two seem to get along well. All of us wanted to check out a new restaurant, so we agreed for this past Saturday. She called and booked. But on Saturday morning, she said that she forgot that she had a wedding to go to the same evening, so she couldn t make it but she said for the two of us to go. I found it strange that she forgot something as big as a wedding, but didn t say anything. Then I remembered there was a big party the same night that she said she wanted to go to. I began to wonder if she ditched me to go to the party. She then messaged me the next day asking how dinner was, and for pics of the food. When I asked about the wedding, she didn t give much info, and sent me a selfie, which seems like an old photo. I feel deceived. I know that in a few days the organizers will post pics from the event. I m tempted to go through the photos to see if I find her. I know she lied in the past to get out of things that she didn t want to go to, but I don t think she ever did that to me. But if she didn t want to go, why would she book the restaurant? My boyfriend said that maybe she didn t want to third wheel seeing that she s single. If I do find a photo of her at the party, should I confront her? |
Question: 21 years old and done nothing with my life? Posted: 30 Apr 2018 06:22 AM PDT Ever since I finished school at 16, I have done absolutely nothing with my life. All the friends I had have slowly diminished as they don't think I'm worth talking to because I don't go to uni, drive, drink, take drugs etc. Do they think they're better than me just because they go to university? For the last 5 years I've had a string of crappy jobs, I would like to do something that I actually enjoy, something geography related, but of course that's not possible as I didn't do geography in school. Due to my shyness, making new friends is impossible let alone meeting a girl. How can I get my life back on track and start to get people noticing me again? I mainly put my failures down to the fact that I was addicted to video games when I was 16-19, so this drove me away from getting a good education. |
Question: How am I supposed to find another close/best friend? Posted: 30 Apr 2018 03:48 AM PDT I only had one really close best friend throughout my high school, and I have other friends but the relationship just seemed more like an acquaintance. Now that my friend moved to another college far away we've kind of lost touch and I've been lonely for about a year now. Making friends here and there might not be so hard (but I admit I haven't really been trying to make any) but at this stage in life where everyone are young adults now I feel like everyone must already have their set of friends and it's difficult for me to find someone who can be a really close friend. I dont have a lot of motivation trying to make friends because I know a lot of them are like "class" or "club" friends and very temporary, but not ones who really want to get any closer. I think i've been so used to being okay having my one close friend that now it's difficult for me to make another. I do have people I used to be friends with in HS and I've hoped to try and gain a stronger connection by hanging out at places and going over to their house but it's still such a short like friendship. |

Question: Did my friend chose his other friend instead of me or I'm I over reacting? Posted: 30 Apr 2018 01:48 AM PDT My friend and I was suppose to hang out last weekend. He said he couldnt saturday because he has plans with another friend. So, he said Sunday. We suppose to meet at the mall Sunday but we did not because he was with his other friend. He did not cancel or say to me we will hang out later. Then he decides to chill at 2pm. I said I was doing something at 2pm. I believe he should of keep his word or least notify me. |

Posted: 30 Apr 2018 12:24 AM PDT Is it a lesbian crush, obsession or do you think I just really admire and like her as a friend only? I'm being obsessed over someone who I shared a brief friendship with during my childhood years. When i was in 5th grade there's a university student who worked as a volunteer at my primary school temporary. She works with me every week in my class. At that time i was only a 10 year old child and she is a 20 year old women. I don't even know why I get attracted to an adult. She's a nice and friendly person, I immediately warm up to her since the first day I met her. We talked together regularly at class and I really enjoy her company. After I left primary school, we didn't see each other again. A few year later, I attempted to reconnect with her via email. She was happy to hear from me again at the beginning but after awhile I tried to message her again for a few more times over the course of several days and she will only give shorts replies and never initiates a conversation. Although she still reply to my message, but I sensed she is no longer interested to maintain contact with me anymore and she's only replying to my message just to be polite. From then on, I got the hint and stopped contacting her again. Now it's been more than 9 years since I last heard from her, but I still think of her from time time. How can I move on and stop being fixating on a person who is long gone from my life. |
Question: What do you think of this situation? Posted: 29 Apr 2018 10:47 PM PDT So me, my friend and her boyfriend went for a hike. When we were on a nice view the boyfriend ask me if I wanted him to take a picture of me and I told him yes but he didn't take it with my phone instead he took a couple with his phone, he told me he would sent them to me, so I need it to give him my number so he could send them, so I did. My friend didn't say anything but now some days later I think it kind of bothered her and now that I think about it, it was weird that the boyfriend did that. Why wouldn't he just take the pictures with my phone? What's your opinion on this? |
Question: Ive found that my friend of three years is a compulsive liar.? Posted: 29 Apr 2018 09:20 PM PDT I'm (17) and my friend is (16 and a half) Most the time it's just miniscule lies that don't really harm me or her but nevertheless its very annoying. How do I know she's lying you may ask? well sometimes the lies she comes up with are obvious, and other times she'll lie and as time goes on I'll notice things that contradict that lie. I think most the lies she says are to make herself look more interesting or to validate a point that she's trying to make. Not sure if this friend is worth my time anymore. |
Posted: 29 Apr 2018 09:13 PM PDT My teacher thinks I "like" him, because I gave him a teacher appreciation letter, but I also gave two other teachers a similar written letter. (This was for a school club activity, I hate writing letters more than anything.) I liked his class, but now he ignores me? Our relationship is a bit awkward now, I can tell by his sudden change of behavior. I use to enjoy talking to him because he made the class fun and simple. Also, I want to keep a positive note with all my teachers, so naturally I try my best to be nice and talkative. Not to mention, no offense to any older men out there but he's not physically attractive because he's old and balding. I never thought of him in that way ever. Like my letter was to thank him for being a great teacher, it was not meant to be a confession or whatsoever. I'm upset that he would even think that. How do I just redo this whole mess, I want to go back to a normal student teacher relationship. Please help, I have his class next year. I don't want to be remembered as a crushing student. For that "metoo" comment, **** off. My other two teachers enjoyed the letters I wrote them. In fact one of them was also a male, and he appreciated the effort I gave into writing him a letter. His letter was identical to the one I wrote for this misunderstadning teacher. There was no implications I gave him that I wanted something beyond a student/teacher relationship. In my opinion, he's being delusional. |
Question: Does it suck to work in a office cubicle? Posted: 29 Apr 2018 09:05 PM PDT I haven't but seems like fun |
Question: Do girls like when guys sing along to songs on the radio in the car? Posted: 29 Apr 2018 07:54 PM PDT I was driving with two friends who are girls and I rolled the windows down and turned the radio up loud and was singing along to songs, I was screaming too. They thought It was funny and wanted to sing along they were laughing so hard. Do girls like that stuff |
Question: My friend started dating someone who hates me? Posted: 29 Apr 2018 07:05 PM PDT I yelled at some guy who acted like a complete creep a few years ago and even now he still bears a grudge and thinks I hate him. It was never anything personal but he apparently still thinks so. last year he threatened to beat me up because of it. my friend said she knows "I hate him" (but I don't) and that she's dating him anyway. they keep talking about me behind my back and she says hes "over it if I am". how could I be over something that never upset me? I feel like they are both conspiring against me. is my friend untrustworthy or is that just her business? |
Question: If your friend shows off to you, what does it mean? Posted: 29 Apr 2018 06:46 PM PDT My guy friend is constantly showing off to me, talking about how much money he makes and how he would rather work through his lunch break than to eat. What do you think it means if he shows off to me? |

Question: Why doesn't my friend support my new relationship? Posted: 28 Apr 2018 08:19 PM PDT So I wanted one of my best friends to meet my new boyfriend of a few weeks. So naturally she invites us over to her place. While we are dinner I started looking at my boyfriend and started rubbing my feet against between his legs and looked at me with lust and then he went upstairs and winked at me. He text me to come up in a few minutes and I excused myself from the table claiming that i think he may need help upstairs. So we went upstairs and we had sex in my best friends bathroom. I tried running the faucet water to quiet the moans and groans and we ended up finishing in my best friend's room. When we came back my best friend was really upset and asked us to leave. I told her she was jealous because she doesn't have a healthy lifestyle with her boyfriend. Why did she embarass me in front of my boyfriend? Why is she so unsupportive towards us? |
