Question: Is there a particular list of people who give speeches at a bridal shower? Posted: 06 Oct 2016 01:01 PM PDT Hosting a bridal shower Saturday, and I'm not sure if I'm supposed to ask anyone in particular to prepare a speech. Are speeches even done at bridal showers? If so, who usually gives them?
Question: Is having a Ice sculpture at a wedding to formal for a cake & punch type of reception.? Posted: 06 Oct 2016 12:22 PM PDT We were thinking of getting married in either November or January and since its cold months why not have a sculpture done to symbolize it.Were also only having 25 come to keep prices down and it's going to be more less formal in regards to traditions.

Posted: 06 Oct 2016 08:55 AM PDT I am not against marriages , but since i am not a great supporter of the institution of marriage , i try to bunk most of the wedding invitations giving some or other hodge podge reason unless there is some peer pressure considerations with the service job of a driver etc etc .. I do not want others to feel bad about their choice of getting involved in the institution of marriage .. but since i am not an admirer of that institution my natural tendency is to bunk the wedding ceremony unless there is some other compelling reason .. Since I don't like to give hodge podge reasons now a days , I am thinking of alternate ways of reasoning to bunk such wedding ceremonies if there are no other compelling reasons to attend .. After Wedding Parties seem okay .. but Wedding Ceremonies I would like to bunk without giving any reasons in a better socially ammicable manner .. other than such an open stance , what are the alternate suggestions you might give ? ..

Question: Should We Go On Holiday? Posted: 06 Oct 2016 03:11 AM PDT I am a 27 year old woman and me and my wife have been invited to a wedding, it is one of our friends, it is abroad, in Spain. Now we were surprised about the location and it will be expensive but i think we can go. It is around the time that my wife and i go on holiday, so we are thinking that when we go to the wedding in Spain, afterwards we should stay for a week or so and have our holiday there. Is that a good idea?
Posted: 06 Oct 2016 01:26 AM PDT I wanted to get my shoes, a sash, my viel and my under garments from davids bridal. But I am worried I might need alterations as all. So would I be able to be my wedding dress into the store I didn't buy it from but just so I can see all the pieces I need with it. hey ya'll thank you for all the great responses. I ordered my dress online, so I cant have them to the alterations. I also wanted to bring my wedding dress with me to the davids bridal just to match my accessories, but I wanted to try it on all together in store before I buy it. I am more nervous about the corset and spanx part. I wasnt sure if davids did alterations on dresses that arent theres, and this dress is not something that carry or have anything similar to it in stock. \
Posted: 06 Oct 2016 01:21 AM PDT So this past year my dad has had three different relationships that I know of, I m almost 17 and Its quite draining having to meet each one as they do not stay very long. It so happens that on his third relation ship ( which I have only met twice) they are now engaged only after knowing each other six months. it s quite upsetting as I get the vibe that she is trying to compete and sort of steal my dad as now I hardly see him since he s been with her. It s also upsetting becasue my mum and dad were married and it is quite emotional for myself and my brother to see him re-marry ( my brother is only 14) its took a toll on me and I m not sure wether to go to his wedding ( in 2 weeks time) as I will find it extremely difficult, i am his only daughter and haven t been asked to be a bridesmaid however if I were even asked I most probably wouldn t but it s just the principe of it. Any help would be really really appreciated , thank you :)
