Question: How do I get over the fact that my entire relationship was a lie? Posted: 02 Oct 2016 09:42 PM PDT I'll try to make this as short as possible. I was dating this girl for about 6 months. She told me that her divorce finalized 6 months prior to us seeing each other. The last month of our relationship was long distance but she begged me to stay with her and try to make it work. She even wanted us to get married before the end of this year so we could be together. Literally a week after her talking about us getting married, I found out that she was never really divorced and the whole reason she moved was to go be with her husband. I told her I knew about it as soon as I found out and admitted she was still married. We talked for about 30 minutes about the whole thing and I've never heard a word from her since. She even deleted all of her social media. It's been 4 months since all of this happened and I still can't seem to stop thinking about it. No matter what I do, it pops up in my mind. I feel like I'm crazy. I've started doing things to better myself from the beginning. I've seen other people. But it's still there. I want to forget about her and move on with my life but I don't know what else to do. Would it be a bad idea to contact her for closure? I guess I'm just in desperate need of some ways to move on
Question: Wife pressuring me to drink alcohol? Posted: 02 Oct 2016 09:31 PM PDT My wife, who drinks regularly has been increasingly pressuring me into drinking alcohol with her. She usually just has one or two drinks after work, but typically drinks until she falls asleep on the weekends. She says its not as much fun to drink alone, and wants me to join her, but I do not drink. She has started making fun of me for not drinking. Also, it's usually my job to take care of our 5 year old while his mom drinks, so I don't want to join her. What's a good way to get her to stop pressuring me to drink with her? I don't mid if she does, but I don't want to be involved.
Question: Serious question, is marriage worth it? Posted: 02 Oct 2016 09:09 PM PDT I'm in college studying to hopefully work in the criminal justice system. I honestly don't care about love at this point. I have friends, we hang out a lot but that's enough for me. I don't think about looking for a girlfriend and hoping one day to marry her and have kids. I want to just focus on what I'm doing live in my house freely and live my life. Is that wrong to think that way? Is marriage actually worth it for me to try to pursue it?
Question: Is it normal to want to be alone indefinitely after divorce? Posted: 02 Oct 2016 09:05 PM PDT After a tumultuous relationship I've decided to leave and am in the process. We have children. I have little desire to even think about dating until after my kids go to college. They are 4, 2, and 5 months. I am attractive, I'm into fitness, I have a career, but I keep choosing wrong and I feel like I'm done with the whole relationship thing. As in, as long as my kids are doing well in life I'm happy & I don't need anyone else. Is that normal?
Posted: 02 Oct 2016 08:47 PM PDT Don't know where to put this... My wife constantly says I play video games ALL the time. I don't do this or that or whatever. I don't know how to tell her otherwise because I shouldn't have to. I think she's lost touch woth reality a little. But here's our background you tell me how to handle this Mon: Come home from work around 5PM, whatch TV for 1hr together take our dog out eat dinner, shower, whatch a movie til bed or show. Tues.-Friday same Sat. sleep in til 830 eat cereal and play a game for a hour, wife gets up and showers and we go and do something Sunday the same. I literally work 70 hours a week. As I'm writing this I have 76.5 hours. I don't have time for games and when I do I spend so much time at work I spend it with my wife. I even wrote down how much time I spent last week, 30 whole mins. In one week. Were fully grown people and argue over vid games. The part that pisses me off is I don't even play that much! I can't get her to see that. What I also do is work out 2 hrs in the morning before work, sometimes I don't. I'd think that would be more of a problem. I need help, advice?
| Question: How do you compromise with a spouse when one wants to move and the other doesnt? Posted: 02 Oct 2016 08:46 PM PDT I want to move closer to family. our parents our aging. my husband has a good job and has been there for 20 years. we live 8 hours from family and only get to see them 3x a year. | Question: From Mistress to Wife? Posted: 02 Oct 2016 07:57 PM PDT I met a man, let's name him J. J is married, with two beautiful little girls, and he "adopted" (not legally) the oldest daughter of his wife. J divorced once already, and he has a son from his previous marriage, a boy that I already had the pleasure to meet. He is 17. We started an affair. It's important to say that I am 20 and he is 43, and it the first time we both have been in a huge age gap relationship. Very soon we started talking about very serious stuff, maybe too soon. Leaving his family, moving with me, marrying with me,having kids with me, me taking care of his little girls. The first month he said I love you, and I said I love you too. We both meant it. I wanted all that we promised to each other, It's still what I want. And then we ****** up, he started arriving home at 9 PM, then 10, then 11, then 12, then 1, then 2. Women are not dumb, we are not dumb. His wife started suspecting. She choose silence at the beginning, but I guess after a month and some days she got fed up. And she has the right to. She knows and he thinks she is going to leave with the girls ,or that she is going to make a huge legal battle about it. I can see he is scared. What should I do? Should I end it? Should I pressure him? How bad did we ****** up? Should I vanish and both pretend nothing happened? Help? |

Question: My husband won't let me divorce him. Am I doing right by being distant from him? Posted: 02 Oct 2016 05:57 PM PDT My therapist suggested that my husband and I need to get a divorce even though my husband won't let me divorce him. He's so paranoid, thinking I won't meet anyone who meets my parent's extremely high expectations for a son-in-law like he does. Let's face it, we're too similar to one another in background and beliefs that it's stagnating, or boring. We're both Filipino and our families are conservative Catholics as to why my parents wanted me to marry him along with him being in the same age group (We're both 33.). The thing is, he thinks he's better than other people which makes him self-righteous and arrogant. He's clingy, possessive, and insecure that he won't give me any space. It's no wonder I'm no longer attracted to him like I was used to when I first met him through a family friend. I married out of logic in which I was using my head rather than heart. Anyway, is it true that couples that are too similar to one another can have problems and then divorce?

Question: How can I help my wife feel better ? Posted: 02 Oct 2016 02:05 PM PDT My wife is feeling sad she read about a young boy who died a few days after he was shot at school. She's 6 months pregnant she's worried the same thing will happen to her or our son. She's got a job interview with Wal-Mart tomorrow she feels scared to work in a big and busy store like that. People can go into a store and fire a gun. Especially a big store like that. She's scared to send our son to school when he gets older. She thinks schools aren't safe anymore but the schools and stores around here are safe. We never had a shooting in our town. She doesn't know anyone around here that stupid. She's still worried. How can I help her feel better ?

Question: I feel suffocated by my husband. Opinions? Posted: 02 Oct 2016 01:53 PM PDT My husband and I have been together 7yrs, We met a month after he got back from his tour in Iraq, married a year later. He is ex-marine and been diagnosed with it all; PTSD, TBI, anxiety, and depression most of which he had before the military and fiercely refuses treatment for, When I met him he was very closed off -he doesn't open up easily and doesn't want to be around many people-, He rarely attends social events with me, He prefers it to be the two of us which I normally have no problem with because I absolutely adore him but I'm a very social person with a big group of friends, My H however is a secluded individual & only mixes at the gym when he's fighting, He has an intimidating demeanour to people but he is not what he seems. Right now his focus is on fighting and steroid use, I've only seen him fight once & was shocked that he has so much anger built up inside of him, He told me what drives him is pure unfiltered rage, His fighting scares the **** out of me -for that reason he asked me not to attend his fights so I don't see that side of him- I feel a lot of pressure from him sometimes because he claims I am the only person he feels safe with and trusts, He is never far from my side -wants sex a lot and even when im sleeping he pulls me close into him, Don't get me wrong I'm deeply in love with this man but I feel suffocated, Any advice guys?

Question: Is it normal that the sex is boring? Posted: 02 Oct 2016 01:21 PM PDT I used to sleep with my neighbor's wife for some time. It was fun and exciting. She got divorced after we were caught having sex. We still have sex even after we get caught. However, I am becoming less excited because there is no risk. I know it was wrong yet that is the very reason why I wish she was still married. Is it possible I can enjoy sex again?

Question: How can I get my wife to understand that I don't like to commit to things on Saturdays? Posted: 02 Oct 2016 12:10 PM PDT I am a diehard college football fan, and on Saturdays is when most teams play. Our son also has his soccer games on Saturdays, which conflicts with the football schedule. Neither event takes up the whole day, but football games do take 3.5 hours, and so are the soccer games, if you include commuting to the soccer field, warmup, the actual game, and post-game activities. Most of the time, soccer games are in the late-morning or early afternoons, and if my football team plays at night, I can take my son to soccer games. But if my team plays at noon, then that conflicts with taking my son to soccer games. When my wife asked me if I can take him to soccer games, that angered me. She knows that I love football and I only have 13 or 14 games per year to watch, and I hate missing them. As a compromise, I offered to take my son if it does not conflict with my football game, but that she will have to take him otherwise. I also offered to take care of stuff around the house during games, so that she would have less to do.

Question: Why is my desire only unto my husband? Posted: 02 Oct 2016 10:13 AM PDT Does that make me strange? I mean I see attractive men daily, and many try to come onto me, however I only have desire for my husband. My friends say this is strange. Because when they are intimate with their husband, they often think of other men. While I can only think of my husband.

Question: Should I kiss my ex? Posted: 02 Oct 2016 09:35 AM PDT We broke up 3 months ago and she didn't stop contacting me. She said she's cried every day over me and refuses to get over me. She still texts me everyday. She parks her car down my street and stares at my house waiting for me to come out. And I know she's there because I know what her car looks like and i can see her in the drivers seat. So I'm thinking if she's there again today, should I just walk up to the car and give her a long passionate kiss on the lips? I want her to stop. Will she stop if I kiss her?
Question: How do you compromise with your spouse? Posted: 02 Oct 2016 09:20 AM PDT I always hear from married couples about compromising to this and that but why? Isn't compromising damage to a relatiomship? When i talk to some married friend they just say "compromise." Really??

Question: I think I should get a divorce How do I go about getting it? Posted: 02 Oct 2016 08:37 AM PDT I want a divorce, I hate my husband, I believe he just married me for my money, after he spent it all he's been neglecting my feelings, I've tried talking to him, I've told him how I feel and explained to him when he does X & Y it hurts me but then he turns it around and says it's my fault, I think he's cheated on me however I have no proof, he's always using the kids as an excuse for him to stay, but At this point we fight 20 times a day, everything he does just pisses me off because he can't do anything right and I think he does it to piss me off, when I get mad he smiles like its so funny to him, I ask him to grab the card and the keys while I grab the kids to go to the store, wel get in the car and he doesn't have the keys or the card, I ask him to dress the kids to go out and hel put them in pjs, I ask him to do the dishes and he puts them up all filthy so I told him don't ever do the dishes again and hel do them while I'm not home and now my cabinets are all greasy because he put greasy nasty dishes in there and made a huge mess for me. I think it's time for a divorce, it makes my skin crawl when he touches me, when I see him I just want to cry. Where do I start?

Question: Friend wants to cheat on wife, please read? Posted: 02 Oct 2016 04:16 AM PDT Our friend is a good guy, but his wife has has MS and been physically incapacitated for years. He takes good care of her and loves her but he hasn't had sex in years and it's making him feel like he's not a man. He's debating to cheat, I don't encourage it but I think it's slightly less wrong to see a prostitute than to get into a relationship on the side. Btw he is an ordained minister. Thoughts?
Question: Since my wife has passed I have been in contact with my old G/F who is married.? Posted: 02 Oct 2016 04:14 AM PDT My wife died a few months ago and I called my old fiancee with no intention other than to say hello. Now old feelings are starting to come back again. Phone conversations at first were mundane but recently have taken a more sexual turn. We have discussed our past in detail and I find that I would like to rekindle our relationship. She says she isn't ready yet but also leaves many conversations open to the prospect that it could happen. We talk and text daily. He husband knows we talk but not the extent of our intimate conversations. Should I continue to press on or should I just walk back out of her life? Our breakup, after talking about it, was one that should have never happened. It was based on rumors and innuendos and being so young neither of us knew how to handle the situation. A little conversation by either one of us and we would still be together. Stay and fight for the Love of my life or just move on?
Question: Husband is a compulsive liar? Posted: 02 Oct 2016 04:06 AM PDT If a husband who does not want a divorce but is still saying he wants to be with the other women is bluntly saying this, does that mean he is just waiting for me to break it off so he won't feel guilty about leaving? He cheated on his 1st wife. He cheated on me. Continued a relationship behind my back with his current girlfriend who knows this but he still goes out of his way to talk to her like he used to with me.. In your opinion, you think he will really change for this girl or this is just part of his games. Once he has her trust then will do it again? What you guys think? Either way, I am done and do not care, I just wanted to understand what goes through an idiots head and how one can think this is ok. And if that 3rd women is actually the one who will change him for the better.

The man I am dating wants me to divorce my husband and just be with him...My husband will not divorce me for immigration reasons, being he still is waiting for his citizenship...Is it advisable that I divorce him or should I continue to wait till he gets his citizenship? | Question: Is it ok to be insulting n demeaning to ur wife wen accused of ur past lies n betrayels? Posted: 02 Oct 2016 01:36 AM PDT |
Posted: 02 Oct 2016 12:41 AM PDT I have tried to get her to go to counselling but she told me that she just has no physical drive for it I should just see a prostitute. Her explanation is once she got married she felt like there was no drive to attract someone. She considers us room mates we sleep in different rooms. She only wants me around to help pay the bills. I would divorce but her parents are very wealthy, but devote religious people and she says if we divorce they will dis-own her as they feel divorce is a sin. She is an only child we in their will to get half the money if we stay married but if we don't then the entire amount is donated to the church. I started seeing prostitutes and they would even come to our home my wife would watch TV while we had sex. One of these ladies showed up and started talking to my wife I went to bed. After a few hours I heard some strange noises and watched my wife having sex with the prostitute. I was really excited didn't know what to do I wanted to join in should I ask her about it? Her parents are worth like 150 million while they give us stuff they bought us our home and things we still have to work. They are old so I doubt they will last another 10 years I'm hoping if I can stick it out end up not having to work after they die. I'm worried if I bring up what I saw my wife will not let me see escort girls anymore. I think she is still talking to that escort girl on the phone she goes out says with a new friend I think she is hooking up with her.
Question: Would you kill your huband or wife if he or she had an affair? Posted: 01 Oct 2016 11:21 PM PDT
Posted: 01 Oct 2016 10:43 PM PDT I think I may have went past the sexual tension by avoiding him for several months. I knew it pained him but it was a goid thing to do. I think I may be ready now to be his friend. I believe he is a good guy and I know he can be good friend. He is also such a gentleman that I don't think he'll ruin in.
Question: Can a marriage survive a long-term affair? Posted: 01 Oct 2016 10:11 PM PDT I have been having a long distance affair with a married man on and off for 3 years. My marriage is verbally abusive and I stay because I would have to pay my husband alimony and child support. He is a good father and is now, after 10 years, trying to be nice to me. I have built up walls with my husband and am afraid to be completely in love with him again. I am afraid the verbal abuse will start again. I use the affair to escape the reality of my marriage. It is a band aid but the wounds from my marriage are there.
