I pick on my other friends but we pick on each other more. Sometimes we jokingly insult each other. I told my friend she needs some fat in her legs. I mean she is very skinny, but I didn't in a friendship way. When we play games she calls me a jerk and I call her a jerk back. We play fight too. I thought, "Damn! We are MEAN." Like I said, we insult each other and people say we are so mean to each other, but we got each others back and we're blunt and straight forward with each other. When e had a day of shopping, I teased her by asking, "How much you got left?" and she said, "$10" and I was like, "Cheep ***!" She gave me a look. I was like, "I'm only joking, GOD!" I LIKE TO JOKE. |

In 7th and 8th I had a solid group of 5 friends we did everything together school but never seemed to hang out outside of school. I only talk to 2 of those friends now and it hasn't even been 5 weeks of 9th grade yet. I really miss the other 3 friends but they don't nearly as much as I do. They are never excited to see me in the hall as excited as I am. I don't have classes with those 3 but I have classes with the 2 that I still talk to. Is this normal? But... She made friends with a girl who I believe is a really bad influence. She's 14 (a year younger than us), and she's already drinking. She steals the alcohol (Like vodka and stuff) from her parents (I've heard from my friend) because she knows where they put it, and then she puts it in her drinks (fruit punch, tea, etc.) so her parents just think she's drinking normal stuff. She steals things (And now my friend steals things from stores. For ex: clothes, nail polish, etc.). Also, she's started cussing a lot. In like EVERY text message, too. It's very annoying. And last but not least, she likes to sends nudes, and pushes up her boobs in every single picture. So I'm honestly scared that she's going to have a negative affect on MY BEST FRIEND. Summer starting distancing herself from me and it got me confused. I asked Hadley if she knew why Summer was distancing herself from me and she said no. Hadley told Summer about it. Summer got really mad that I asked Hadley instead of asking her. I then confront her and asked her why she was mad at me. She told because I'm "Fake" and talked to Hadley. I text her a couple days later and apologize super sincerely I ask her what started this. The only thing she could come up with was this really random thing I said like 2 weeks ago in response to her making fun of my religion. We worked in similar departments and ended up living together for the past year. We then both got transferred to our Russian office. It was a hard time for me as I leaving a potential relationship and I have very basic Russian skills. My friend on the other hand speaks Russian and coincidentally the man that she had started dating also ended up moving to Russia. She has also started hanging out with a colleague here, I think he's sexist and avoid. Naturally, I was slightly jealous and I admitted that to her, this has been a hard adjustment. I have told her this and distanced myself. Because it was quite painful to be reminded of what could have been and I really can't stand the other colleague. We also had a slight falling out over friends from home. It was kind of stupid. Essentially she said one thing to me, an opinion that I thought we both shared and I told our friends back home this and she suddenly came out with a different opinion and it made me look like a *****. I told her I felt annoyed, she said it was nothing personal. That she wanted to try and help as I am quite lonely but that she didn't know what to do. But hasn't messaged me since or spoken to me when we've been at work. Maybe I am the problem? Whilst I can message many friends for a simple chat, not many message me to discuss or help with my feelings - maybe I am the problem... But will this friendship help anything? |

The next Saturday, Helen called me and wanted to know what time I was coming over. I told her I could not come back and what Al had told me. She was outraged. She said "That is the last straw. I am filing for divorce Monday morning from that control freak of a husband. About a month later I got a call from Al. Helen had kicked him out of the house. Al wanted me to call Helen and tell her he was drunk when he told me he didn't want other men around his wife and that he did not mean it. I don't know if he meant it but he was NOT drunk. I am friends with one of his friends, and it turns out he would text his friend about how he messed up ect. I was mad, and I saw B, he looked upset. I still liked the guy I thought he was, and I asked if he was ok, he hugged me and I stood there motionless. the during lunch the next day he wanted to talk to me. I said no, he said fine and said he would stand there til I would talk to him. I called him a narsistic "i cant spell sorry" B got really mad and started yelling. I started to shake because I was freaked out. I went up the steps he started to follow but a big guy stepped between and told B to back off. he did I went upstairs in tears. the principal saw and took me upfront. I heard on his walkie talkie that ted was outside on the phone cursing and yelling. I went home early and I feel like a horrible person for not talking to him, but I was so mad. I'm really stressed out. no I'm not a troll, and I'm not seaking out attention. I just feel horrible and the prinical now is keeping a close eye on me and B. what do I do.. |

Then all of sudden everyone dislikes me. Did he talk behind my talk to my friends to make me purposely hated. My old friends and I always hanged at school and extracurricular and now I am just hated. I still have very little friends in that old friend group who still stay loyal, but why does everyone else in my friend group hate me. My good friend, he claims everyone hates me and goes to everyone and tells them lies that I did not say. My loyal best friends never believe him (very few like 3), but the others despise me no matter how close we were in the past. I keep on telling them I did not, but they dont believe me. I think the reason why is my old friend joined my old friend's group and that is how they started to believe him. That friend who betrayed me is still loyal to me and tells me, he understands, but I don't. My best friends in that group tell me he is talking crap about me when he is with their friend group (my old friend group). |
| Question: Wedding dress fiasco? Posted: 05 Oct 2016 01:01 PM PDT I went wedding dress shopping w/ my sister Friday. She had to bring some work w/ her (she warned me in advance). She was sitting on a bench doing work while a girl at the shop was helping me fit/try on dresses, then my sister was giving comments. All fine. In settings where it makes sense, I'm not very modest around other women, so I was in my fitting stall in just in a pair of panties as the assistant helped me in and out of dresses & brought me new ones. At one point she comes back, knows I'm more or less nude in the fitting room, and pulls the curtain all the way back without warning as she tries to show me a dress we hadn't talked about that she thought I might like. I turn toward the curtain wondering what's happening as it opens, and the ENTIRE shop (including 1 guy!) gets a quick flash of me full on nudie (only panties). I shrieked, the girl saw my reaction, & tried to stand with the dress blocking view, but 1) the damage was done 2) some people could still see. I tugged the curtain closed, got dressed, & demanded to see her manager. She told me the manager wasn't there but gave me a number and time she would be & I more or less stormed out in a huff. Not screaming or anything but really annoyed. I was embarrassed, humiliated, and felt tiny. My sister says I'm totally overreacting and that I'd be a total b--- to complain to the manager or try to get the girl in trouble. But I feel her actions were VERY inappropriate and demeaning. |

Today i got a new comforter and she got mad and then yelled at me for getting it, because she wanted it. She told me she's wanted this comforter 2 years ago, so I forgot. She's also done something like this before. I wanted a shirt from a store, and 'monica' wanted tje same shirt. She demanded I got a different shirt and then proceeded to ignore me when I said I don't think that's fair. She also called me a ***** to my other friend. She always tells me to pick stuff up for her, and won't ever let me get the things she's wants. She's mad at me for painting my room blue because she wants to paint hers blue. Whenever I try to bring up any of this she brings up all of my flaws, and tells me what she's hates about me, thinking I will change that about myself. Monica also hates one of my bffs because Caroline has acne, Overall she's my best friend and I love her so much. We have so much fun together and usually get along really well. This is no exxageration, I ride around and people would look and say my name, excited to just see me. I was extremely popular and an asset to anyone who took me in their group. Now I'm the shell of the boy I used to be. Man oh man, it has only been a year, and I went from a somebody to a complete nobody. I lost it all or almost all. I geuss going outside has still has a signifcant people who know me by name, but it's nothing compared to what it once was. But now... I isolate myself and lost it it all. My group of friends gone. I wish I could agree with all the unpopular people and say that after being on both extremes, popularity doesn't matter. But it does, every time someone calls out my name, I atleast smile genuinely, grin, actually feel signifcant and popular, and I am filled with ecstasy and feels I can't even describe with words. |

Someone advised me that if I have problems making female friends, then you won't enjoy being in a sorority. Is he right?? And no, I don't ignore other women in favor of men. Females hated me in middle/high school for petty things like how I wore my hair and considered me weird and picked on me. The pettyness still went on in college, but it wasn't as awful as middle school. * I meant "better or worse." My iPhone's autocorrection is annoying.
