So my best friend was recently diagnosed as bipolar. Its been a super rocky past month. She's doing a little better but still not great. Her family has had a hard time obviously. They've also had to spend an enormous amount of money on hospital stays, medicine costs, etc. I think that I really need to stress how much she means to me. I love her so so so much. Anyways, she absolutely adores Shawn Mendes. He's coming to my city in June of 2017. The tickets are already on sale and I really want to purchase a couple of tickets for my friend and myself. (I'm a pretty big fan of Shawn Mendes myself) I still need to talk to my friend's parents about it. I really want to buy both tickets myself to alleviate costs on her family. I was really good friends with these two girls, we would always help eachother in times of need and they would always involve me in what they were doing, then summer came, we said our goodbyes and now when we return to school, they don t exactly blank me but they don t act around me like they used to, I have bad shyness issues so they would stay with me while I got my lunch in school but now they get their lunch and leave me to go outside, I ask them to stay with me or why they keep walking off but they tell me they need to go on their phones, so I normally skip lunch due to anxiety and run to them. when I get there they will be texting eachother, smirking and talking about insides jokes infront of me.once they even sat on a bench and asked me to sit across to another bench (which was a three seater) I asked them if they could move with me, and they said they liked the bench they were on. I ve been trying to push this away for a few weeks but recently it really got to me, I would think about attacking one of them out of anger or something. I go home and cry about being pushed away, but the problem is I don t have many friends so if I leave them I m on my own. This is just making me so depressed, I just want to be sick or something to take a few days off but I m never normally sick so I go in everyday feeling like sh*t. College started a month ago, and being a very quiet and reserved person with extreme social anxiety, i'm happily surprised I managed to make a few friends, but I have the overwhelming fear that they either don't like me, or are going to find new friends and leave me behind. Back in high school, I had a very close knit group of friends and we were always together, so I never had this fear, but now that i've made these new friends and we aren't very close yet, I just keep feeling like i'm not good enough to stay friends with them and they're eventually going to move on and find new people, in fact, a few of them have already found new friends and left "the group", and I have the feeling this is going to happen to everyone. I also get very nervous to text them to ask to hang out, which doesn't help my situation. This fear gets especially bad whenever I'm alone and I feel as if I'm never going to see them again for some strange reason. I really like these people and would love to stay friends with them, and I can't tell if we're going to stay friends or not and its driving me crazy because I really don't think i'll be able to stay in college without any friends. Should I do anything about this, or am I just crazy?

There is a friend of mine that isn't necessarily there. He's not mentally retarded but may have Aspergers or something like that. He's real socially awkward and can be pretty rude and disrespectful. Any time I invite him out with other people he always ends up pissing everyone off because of his mouth. It's like he will joke around by trying to bust balls in a friendly manor but gets very offended when someone does it back to him and he will end up saying something like "I hope your parents die". I am beyond mad this time. We used to hang out so much. My best friend and I are partners for a project. It's getting close to the due date so one day, I ask her what days she wants to work on it. Out of nowhere she says "uuggghhh I don't know. Saturday?" So I was talking to my friend and kind of venting about my situation at home (my mom recently got diagnosed with advanced cancer) and how I was stressed out because of it and he was kind of being insensitive and joking about it when I was trying to just open up to him about it. Sort of like minimizing my problem. It angered me so much and it's not the first time he's done this but last time he tried to deny saying something my friend also heard and told him he was wrong. He keeps insisting he didn't say it. Is it because he doesn't want to own up to it, or is it possible he just literally DOES NOT remember saying that and sincerely thinks it didn't happen. We're still not in good terms because he's accuse me of lying and saying I imagined it. I'm not mad anymore just hurt. I don't know what to do or how to approach him and get end this thing. I just can't find a reason to live anymore. We are all going to inevitably die. My school sucks, I have little to no friends, and my family always overlooks me. I have 2 younger brothers who are in 5th grade and whenever they want something they get it, even if it means it is taken from me. Ok so my best friend is so great, and such a great person and super lovable but honestly... she is so stupid. She just doesn't have much working in her brain. An example would be when we were signing up for classes. We are juniors in high school. I told her to take AP classes if she wants to get into a good university and she did, but when I asked her what classes she's in she couldn't even remember?! I mean literally she posts a duckface selfie with a caption with only a panda emoji on it? What does that mean?! I confronted her about this and she said ok I won't do it anymore but she still posts really cringey stuff. Besides all this SHE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT HER FUTURE AT ALL! I tell her about the ACT and SAT, and ask when she's taking it or if she started studying. And get this... she didn't even know what it was until I asked. I mean she knew what it was but not what to do?! She then asked ME when I'm taking it and was like "I'll just take it when you take it!" Like what? She doesn't think for herself at all! I feel like her MOM! She also got a boyfriend recently and ever since WE HAVE ONLY TALKED ABOUT HER PROBLEMS! So there were rumors spread about him and I kinda felt bad for him. People knew I had a huge crush on him (I didn't come out yet so idk how they know but I always deny it). So this guy and I met freshman year. A fake account was pretending to be him I sent them pictures. Christian found out about it and so him and I did it. Freshman year, I didn't know anyone and because I'm really quiet and shy around people I don't know, I didn't really make any friends. During lunch freshman year I just sat with the same random group every day, but I didn't have any classes with them so I would just sit there, eat, and listen to their conversation, not saying a word. I met him about two years ago at this choir camp we both go to. He lives in a different state than I, so we only see each other once a year at choir camp. I was with my friend today at the library and I started to get cramps and went to the bathroom to see that I got my period again (I'm new to this so mine aren't regular yet). My friend doesn't know I have my period (we're both 14) and I didn't have a pad so I just put a whole wad of toilet paper in my underwear. She was nice about it and biked me home and told me to take at least a 3 hour nap before our sleepover (at my house, that god) tonight because she wants me to not be tired and have enough energy to play games like twister, etc. Right now I don't feel very good and I'm not in the mood to do anything that takes a lot of energy or anything. What do I do?? I can't tell her I have my period and she's not gonna be happy if I don't want to do all the stuff we planned. If we play twister I'm going to be worried every second that I'm leaking. Any advice or tips? I really want to cancel it but it would break her heart. Yesterday her mom cancelled it and she started crying...but then her mom changed her mind and said we could do it again. Also, I wear pads. I don't want to tell her because this one time we planned to go swimming but she suddenly just told me the day before she can't go swimming (but I didn't ask why and she didn't tell me anyway) but I still came to her house instead. When I was there, her backpack was hung up and just wide open and I saw pads in it...so I think she got her period but she didn't tell me. Sometimes the subject comes up but she always says she hasn't gotten hers yet so I just say I haven't gotten mine either.

I turn 19 in October. All my life in school I was shy and couldn't make friends. After highschool graduation I started doing things on my own and going out and many people would talk to me So now it feels normal and I'm not shy. I take online college classes since I work full time. I got a new job at a warehouse I used to work at and I like it their because i feel cofmtable and eveyone is nice and I talk to everyone. : So my mom found an empty beer bottle in my room yesterday, and in reality, I drank some of it a few days before by myself and emptied the rest out, but no matter how much I told my mom that she was positive I drank it with friends a few days before. Long story short I just confessed to doing it with my friends, because j wanted to get her off my back. Then she told my friend's moms about it and they denied it. I don't know if this has gotten back to my Mom yet, but Now my friends want to know why I told my mom that I drank with them when I didn't. I tried to talk to her about it and ask nicely, but she doesn't lock the door when she leaves. I haven't talked to her about it for awhile just because we are hardly around each other a lot of the time anyways because our schedules are so different. When I leave on the weekends, I take most of my books and laptop home with me (which are my most expensive things), but one time another year someone came into my room and stole my stapler, so there are petty thieves that will do that kind of thing and I really don't want anything stolen. I can still request to change rooms but I'm not so sure about finding someone so late in the year. I plan to ask tomorrow, but if that doesn't work, I don't know what to do. I have been living with my roommate for two years and I have found a notebook that he has. In it he spews hatred and negativity about me on nearly every page. Don't get me wrong, everyone has minor issues with other people sometimes, but he clearly is having strong jealousy problems. On a daily basis, he is passive aggressive and is disrespectful. How do I go about dealing with someone like this? I clearly cannot mention the notebook, but should I just call him out when he is disrespectful? Is the relationship curable?

I am the only woman in a office of 17 people. I really like the people I work with and they like me. My 10 year anniversary is coming up soon and my fellow employees are planning a small lunch to celebrate it. They plan for each employee to give a small speech about working with me and to present a small gift and to give me a kiss. Former employees I worked with are also invited. The human resources guy is worried that people will think what they plan to do is sexist because the employees would not do that for a man. I think it is a great idea. I am looking forward to it. Okay so long story. I am not a social butterfly at all. I am not into the things most 6th graders are into. I had my best friend in 5th grade but she moved to Kansas right before middle school started. I tried to find other people to sit with at lunch and partner up with in class but everyone is either a jock or really smart or preppy and kind and I like rock music and dye my hair and nobody really likes me. I try to keep in touch with my best friend but lately it's been really hard. She has sooooo many friends and I can't name one friend that I have. She is usually so kind to me but now when I text her she will be with a friend and say "I'm busy" or "can't talk". I decided to take a break from social media for a little while so I could have some time to think about things. Last night my best friend texted me asking why I took a break and I told her I needed time to think. She said "Okay, well I'll be here on the other side of the country good luck with that! Call if you need anything." But she never usually says things like that. This morning I checked her snapchat story and there was a picture of me with a caption "best friend is being annoying 🙄." I asked her who and she said ummmm my friend none of your business bye. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO AND I HAVE NO FRIENDS PLEAASSEE HELP ME

My friend has blocked several people on Facebook. Recently his home flooded, and he went to apply for benefits with FEMA. I went with him, well drove him since both his cars got flooded. By chance a guy he blocked on Facebook, worked at the FEMA location, and my friend had to go through him to apply for, and receive his benefits.

I texted a clown on Friday, just to tell them to come to my town to scare all of my friends, so the clown screenshotted our messages then said "target" I was laughing because I really thought it was a joke. I've gone and done the stupidest hardest thing to myself so far in my life. I fail in love with my bestfriend. It hurts very bad and realize that I'm going to have to do what's best for him and leave before he realizes what's happened. I've know him since we were in school so for a little over 13 years now. I'm going to miss him so much and honestly not sure if leaving with even work but if it does. Can I ever see him again or should I always just stay away?? Worst off I will always have someone keep watch if he ever needs anything like money or in trouble with anything. I will also make sure that if I can't get over this and have to go with a more permanent route he is left enough money to be secure in my will.

So in 9th grade I was friends with this guy named Christian we had no problems. In 10th grade Kasey decided she wanted to make fun of him so her and I would make fun of him by yelling stuff and running into classrooms. This guy told me he doesn't want to be friend anymore because of my childish behavior. This year when him and his friends see me they yell stuff. I guess they do that to make me understand how he felt when her and I did it to him. His friends and him were kept looking back at me at the prep rally.
