I am a high school female going through a tough situation with my friend's Mom after I moved out of one of my parent's house to live with my other parent. His Mom is too clingy to me in ways that she goes crazy calling me repeatedly everyday, wants me to come over every single day from 11am, refusing to take me home until late at night when her husband comes home at 8pm because apparently she "can't drive far" but she will go to far away stores when I'm with her. Okay so, my family and me have been through a lot of obstacles and roller coasters all through out my life, and I'm tired, I'm so tired... I feel like my family is holding me back from succeeding.... My plan is to leave after high school to college, become fully independent and to not come back for a while (2-3 years).. I feel like I just need some time off from them... There s this hole in the wall that my brother keeps throwing trash down, basically anything small enough. Food scraps, wrappers, etc, and my parents don t really care. Like, isn t it common sense that you re supposed to put your trash.. in the trash? He s 9! In 4th grade, there s no excuse, and frankly it s starting to smell a bit weird. I am 23 and ever since I can remember my mother has made it quite clear that spending any time with me is a chore. So it's the summer and my parents have taken me off ritaline, which has been prescribed to treat my ADD . Without it although my mood is higher im always tired, zoned out, finding it hard to concentrate and it's affecting my relationship with family members . Any advice on what I should do ? My mom has temper problems, and she was always this way, we had a dog, which was abused by the previous owners, and because of the abuse, the dog was always acting weird, for example, when i would sleep the dog would sit on my head, she would pee on the floor, always cry at the door etc. And my mom hit her, which would make me sad, one time, she literally grabbed the dog by the collar and held it up for like, 2 seconds, still, that was enough for me, i tried to confront her, telling her that what she did is not right and that there are other way to solve the problem, however, she always says this "I dont need advice from you, its my house and i will do what i want". But then after a year or so, we gave the dog up for adoption. But we have a cat that i love so very much, and well, he always plays with me, and it sometimes gets really aggressive, he bites me, and i try to calm him down, but nothing seems to work, and so she comes screaming at him and hitting him, resulting him in leaving, she ALWAYS does this and it bothers me, when i try to tell her that she wont do sh*t hitting him, she denies it saying that she knows best and me, a sh*t kid (what she calls me) wont change the house rules, or anything. And oh, i forgot to say, she hits me when i try to confront her. Basically my whole life my cousin has always bulled me and talked down to like I'm a piece of ****. He always claims he can kick my *** at the most random time when I don't provoke him or say anything to him. I'm 19 and he's 21 but he's one of the frat college guys who thinks he's tuff ****. I can easily kick his *** but I don't want to fight him becuase I think fighting is wrong and immature but for some reason he always calls me out in from of everyone and in front of my other cousins. In all honesty I did suck at wrestling but I was 16 years old and I never took that sport seriously nor did I ever work out, so I wasn't very athletic at the time (funny thing was he sucked at that sport too). Every time I hang out with my family he always makes fun of me and makes me look like a whimp in front of my cousins. I know That now I can beat him up becuase I've do a lot of strength training and cardio in the past years so I've gotten big (200 lb muscle). But I don't want to hurt him becuase I'm worried that'll give me a bad name, but sometimes he puts his hands on me trying to fight me for no reason! And I don't know what to do when he does that! I am 22 just finishing up college with a clean criminal record. Really made an effort to stay out of trouble and do the right thing. Without telling me, my 20 year old brother stole my ID to buy beer. He then committed a crime and gave the cop my ID (we look alike). I now have a notice to appear for a misdemeanor charge. Hi everyone!! I got into trouble because someone in my school told a teacher about a thing I posted in Instagram about me having the thought of suicide. Because I moved school, and I ve only been in my new school for 1 month, the teachers were nice-ish to me. There were 2 teachers talking to me on Friday and they wanted to talk to my parents. But I wasn t allowed Insta, the first time I ve had Insta, my parents told me to delete it and they had an outrage on me. So, if they ever found out, then I ll be double-shouted at. And, I told them that the suicide thing was a thing of ages ago (3 years ago), but they still cared, I told them out how I wasnt allowed Insta, and they tol me they couldn t do anything about it and that they will put Insta on the side, they just wanted me o e happy. BUT I AM *****N HAPPY!!!!! The only reason I ve got Insta is to stay in touch with my old friends. It s really hard coz I havent got a phone, so I cant text them or anything, but I know in my heart, that they still miss me and I miss them too. Ok, so, now, what should I do?? So before I go to my question, I'm an adopted child and I've lived with this family since I was 5 and I was always treated inferior to my adoptive siblings. Didn't matter what grades I got, what I did around the house or what I do in the community. Now among the whole family, I eat the least (due to my size and the size of my stomach) and my mom always makes a 'smart' remark almost every single time I leave the kitchen table. I'm 13 so I don't really know yet, and my mom has never been married and I don't wanna ask about marriage with her and stuff, but anyways, my dad isn't the man she's currently with so I was wondering if she got married to her boyfriend now would I get his last name or no because that's not my dad? And she's talked about killing me and beating me until I die if I ever dated or became close with a black guy, and she talks about how black people are ruining the world and white people DONT get enough justice and whenever I speak against her and say I'm offended by the way she talks, I get beat inside my living room. I'm growing up in Brooklyn, New York so I am very liberal because I've met different people and I absolutely am offended to the point that I cry because my heart hurts with the hate that my mother spreads. I am 17, what do I do? EVERYTIME I say my opinion, she beats me and screams and curses at me. But I cannot take what she is saying anymore, because I'll really end up hitting her back. I am only 17 and cannot move out and her hate makes me dread waking up every morning. What do I do?

My parents always tried to cover all the material needs that me and my brother had, probably because themselves came from poor families when they were little. -Don't get me wrong, we are not rich now. My father is a farmer and my mom works at a super market. I am just saying we are making a decent living, we have clothes and food and a place to call home despite the crisis in our country- My point is they never really had a way to show their love and emotions to us, from a psychological aspect. I don't think they have ever told us they love us. I don't think they actually ever say anything good to us. It all ends when they think they have covered our needs in materials. I feel like I can't forgive them for that. I know and I realise all the reasons why they tried so hard to give us "everything", but a child needs more than toys from their parents. How do I stop being so angry at them? --I realise why they behave the way they behave, and that is their way of showing they care, is by covering all our material needs but still I can't forgive them--

Hello, my name is Kai and I am a 22 year old male from the United States. I am openly gay and currently have a boyfriend who is 25 and we have been 'together' for roughly five months. I guess you could say our relationship isn't really a proper relationship and it is more strained than anything else, but I can't stop 'loving' him and I guess I need help figuring out what to do in our 'relationship'. We lack communication; I know nothing about him, he knows nothing about me, other than a few quirks and things like birthdays or what not. We don't really talk much and when we do it usually leads to fighting that make us angry and we always end up having sex. Always. It doesn't matter what we were doing, or talking about, or if we were angry at each other. It leads straight to sex and I mean this happens just about every other day if not nearly every day. Like, just tonight I got mad at him because I cold tell something was wrong and he wouldn't tell me and he got mad at me for asking and we ended up having sex in a place where sex shouldn't happen. If we try to sit down and talk, it leads to sex. Heck, we even had sex in a public restroom, because he got mad at me for taking too long in the store. Why is our relationship just about sex or why are we always compelled to having it and how can we start communicating more without it leading straight to sex? I really want to be with him, but that is hard to do when we can't even have a proper conversation without it becoming sexual.

Yesterday I went to my aunt's house for a get together with the family. My aunt really hates me and my mother so she tries to find any flaw in Me to talk about. I have been a selfharmer when I was younger and I stopped about a year ago, I usually conceal my scars well and they don't show unless you focus on my arm. When I was at the get together, my aunt was strongly looking at my arm and I think she spotted scars and suddenly she was pointing at her arm and signalling her daughter. I'm worried that she might tell my mother. Mama knows but she thinks they have gone away, I lied to mama and told her that I only made one cut that went away. Please help

My brother wasn t always this bad but... recently i wanted to kill him. I was really close to doing it tonight but stopped myself. It all started when i was young we were very close and my three brothers would make fun of me for being fat that didnt really bother me though. Stuff like that happened alot so lets skip forward a couple years. My two older brothers are gone because of some drama. And i only have 1 brother left this is where stuff takes a turn for the worst my dad ends ip dying sending me into depression and my older brother doesn t care and he just started to boss me around saying im a fat *** and all i do is sit around. This went on for many went on untill went on to report him to my teacher and then called social services. I ended up at my brothers house for a couple weeks and that was fine but then eventually i ended up back home after he called me to tell me that how my mom is suffering not because he is hurting her but because she misses me. After a couple months we ended up getting into a fight that sent me to the hospital and still after that nothing happened to him i lost a tooth in that fight aswell. My mom does nothing to stop this. She even did nothing to stop it when i went to the hospital all he does is mistreat her and everbody else. Foward to now im lying down in my bed holding a knife trying to hold myself back with all my power its really hard guys i need some help...

so basically i want to go to new york with my brother. obviously my parents are divorced. I'm 13 my brother is 15 and my aunt would meet us at the airport when we land because she lives in NY. My mom has custody over me but my dad has custody over my brother. my dad wouldn't be paying for the ticket my aunt would. my dad said i can't go. LEGALLY does his no even matter since my mom said yes for ME? I would like a professional opinion because i need to know.

My life is so complicated man I'm so tired of trying to fulfill everyone else's expectations and they mad at me when I fall short. I have 3 kids and I have been a stay at home mom for over 4 years i get foodstamps. I just started a new job it's been two weeks so dad is keeping the kids and man it is so stressful! I got daycare lined up they start soon all three for $89 a week I think that is kind of good based on the prices. Dad is mad because that is too expensive. No matter how much I try to line things up its just not working he is like this is too much running around man so I tell him I'm quitting he is like no we need those checks but he has been complaining the whole time. Saying I be more motivated to get out of the house more than I am to clean or take care of the kids. I work 4:30 am to 3:00 pm so that I can spend time with my kids and so that he won't be tied up all day but man this whole thing is exhausting!! He is mad because he says he be lonely even before the job man 3 kids is some work and they are all under 4 plus he has a 7 year old that basically lives with us because her mom excuse is she has to work! So he picks her up from school everyday and has her the entire summer except the weekends. She has cheerleading and he pays over 1000 for that its just kind of unfair he sits and calls me selfish but I'm far from that I can't do anything without his approval I don't have company I don't go out I don't even take a walk out my own front door but I'm selfish??

my teacher recently died, it's been hard. We were very close, he taught me cane mobility for 2 yrs, I used to be blind but I got my vision back.. He had been heavy on my mind. I felt I needed to contact his sister he told me about. I found her and messaged her comforting words, how I was his student and how special Mr.J was to me, what a blessing he was and what awesome of a brother he was to her. I sent pictures of us too and she loved them. We began talking a lot about him and all he did, share stories, how awesome he was. We're FB friends and she's like/shared every post I had about Mr.J. She randomly goes and likes all of my posts (about him) Talking to her gave me comfort, why? Today i felt to share an important cane class accomplishment with her. She was explaining how proud she/Mr.J would've been of me. Gave me advice and was complimenting me. She then went and liked all of my posts I ever posted about him and shared everything. Iw as thinking, I'm not big on the whole messaging my condolences to her, I have a lot of important things to say that can't fully be received through just a message. would it be weird if I made a video of me introducing myself and explaining to her what a blessing/how important he was to me and sending it to her? I didn't want to call her, that'd be overwhelming for her, and I didn't want to just message it because it's too important. What do you think, how would she feel?

I am having a major problem with between my mother and sister and I am in the middle. My poor sister is going through a horrible divorce. Her husband beat her, he does drugs, and now doesn't want to pay child support. Naturally I am on my sisters side. However, my mom and sister never got along. Because of this, my mom is taking "his" side (her son-in-law) because she thinks that he will let my mom get her grandkids more often through his friendship. My sister stopped letting my mom see her grandkids last year due to a serious argument they had. I am having a big problem with my mother doing this to my poor sister. Problem is, I don't want to lose my mother through this feud because she is the only parent i have left. I am being pestered by both of them to take a side, and i naturally choose my sisters side. What would you do??
