He got me a small diamond necklace for my birthday in November. We've had our ups and downs, and he actually broke up with me once already because he was listening to what his friend was saying and not realizing what the reality of the situation was. It was at this time I gave the necklace back to him, and he returned it when we got back together saying the diamond fell out. He purchased a lifetime guarantee, and made it sound like if anything happens to it, they'll replace it. Well I lost the paper that told me when to get it inspected, so I had no idea I had to go in May. And probably wouldn't have because that's when he dumped me. So now the woman at the jeweler says I'd have to pay for it to be replaced because I didn't go every 6 months to get it inspected. I don't carry the necklace with me nor wear it due to the diamond missing, so it's hard to remember to bring it with me to work to go at that time because it's closer to me. But I still wear other things he got me, and superficial items isn't what's a big deal to me in our relationship. Well he's pissed off I never took the time to get it fixed yet. And he's considering breaking up AGAIN. What else can I say/do? |

I have these two friends at camp where I have the best time with. Every year, this camp is the highlight of my year. I always have more fun there than anywhere else. I feel like my friends there bring out the best side of me, the involved, spirited, and happy side. This year is the first year that I have cried so much after leaving. I cried today, a week after leaving, because I was missing it so much. I want to have that fun that I have at camp ALL the time. After hanging out with my normal life friends, I realized that I m not that fun person outside of camp. Outside of camp, I m insecure, shy, and annoying. Other than that i dont talk to anyone besides my friend that lives 3 hours away in the city and my family, boys arnt even interested in me. Lately ive been feeling like i dont belong where i am and think of moving up to live with my grandad full time in the city but everytime i am there i do nothing but miss my dad and brothers (i lived there for the last year for college and ive recent moved home for the summer). Anytime i either stay at my friends or my brothers i just wanna go home, and get very upset, they dont know this though, lately i have been thinking i might have depression, but if i go home i feel fine again, which makes me think it could be hormones. We live in Vancouver, Canada so 19+ is the legal age to be drinking, going to clubs, going to casinos, and going to adult-only entertainment events. I have been working my *** off and not talking very much to my coworkers. Today I decided to talk to my friend for a few minutes while we worked because we always got paired together and everyone else talks the whole time. So we talked for about 3 minutes while we worked and my manager comes and says that we are talking too much and that we don't do as many boxes as everyone else, but the reason we don't do as much as everyone else is because they always pair my friend and I do to things while the others plant like move the convator belts, bring dirt from other places and also bring more boxes with plant. He also said that we need to give more effort this really pissed me off because I try so ******* hard I even do extra work to help my coworkers. After he was done he asked if we understood and all I said was okay. My dad is the other manager and I was going to tell him but he would side with my manager because they're friends. What should I do?Because I wanted to punch him in the face when he said that we need to give more effort. Am I overreacting or does he really have it out for me? |

Upon doing this, Barbara said "Don't put on sunscreen, the sun doesn't burn you at this hour." My friend, Jennifer said "Put on sunscreen anyways, just in case." But then Barbara, Jennifer's mother said not to put on sunscreen again in a more strict and enforced tone. Personally, I wanted to put on sunscreen, but Barbara said not to, so I should trust her judgement... Unfortunately, as I suspected, the sun did "burn at that hour", because I got a massive sunburn. I had my tights and skirt halfway down my legs and there are about 7 girls all in the toilets including my sister with their mouths wide open staring at my lady parts. Then the girl who opened my door let out a loud scream and her and her friends started laughing. I don't shave down there either and to me that was a huge embarrassment! My sister saw it too. I'm not sure if I still do, but sometimes I feel like I do. But I'm not sure. Anyways, the dream. So we were in my room sitting on my bed. And I made the first move. I was facing him. And I asked to kiss him or something. He apparently said yes because all of a sudden we kissed. He said I was a good kisser. And he leaned in for another, and another. We started dating like 2 months after they broke up he tried so hard to make me his girlfriend.. He would take me to the movies and dinner dates and would pay for everything and he would always be writing on Twitter how much he likes me and stuff.. But now we've been dating for a month now and I notice that he mentions his ex a lot like sometimes he will see one of his guy friends and be like "that guy used to try to get at my ex while we were dating" and we were talking about money for some reason and he was like "I think my ex just used me for my money" and during foreplay he was like "you're lucky you don't smell bad down there like my ex" whenever I tell him to stop mentioning her and I ask him if he's over her he tells me that he is over her and he gets sad that I actually think that and he says he's been trying to prove to me how much he likes me |

In her late teen days she got onto hard core drugs but has been sober 2 years now. She is always changing some aspect of her life. Since I've known her, she has switched jobs more than 15 times, she is always changing her living situation (moving out of her parents, into an apartment, back with her parents, rented a house, back with her parents, renting another house and now she wants to buy a house???), she has had several boyfriends, she was engaged and then called the wedding off. All of these things in a matter of 3 years. She can be very deceiving and sneaky. She is very dramatic. I am worried about her. She never has stability. Something is always happening. It's always drama drama drama. I love her because it wasn't always like this. We quit being friends while she was on drugs, but I know for a fact she isn't using now- so I know that's not why all of this is happening. What should I do? Why should I envy her when her credit is shot, she's over coming a drug problem and has nothing to show for the last 3 years? I am almost done with college and I have a stable relationship and I have a good relationship with my family.. I would not want to live the life she lives.. I am worried about her. |

I have a job, I pay rent, but I still live in my parents house. And, I don't drink coffee, I don't drink alcohol, I never in my life tried smoking or any kind of drugs. I haven't started going out partying, dating or anything that young adults or adults do... And it's so, frustrating and hard to handle. After his breakup months ago, a friend (guy) and I took him out for drinks. We started hanging out more often because we share a lot of similar interests. However I did not sense anything flirtatious from his end until he tried to kiss me after work. I told him I saw him as a friend. He said he was into me but accepted my feelings and said it was fine. I assumed our friendship would be ruined by that but oddly enough it wasn't. We still hung out. In fact, sometimes he was mildly affectionate. I showed him around the city I go to grad school in and he held my hand a few times. The next day I addressed it (I don't want to lead him on) and wondered why he was being this way. He said he knows nothing will be happen between us but I "really make him happy" and he enjoys being around me. He also apologized for the handholding and said I should tell him if anything makes me uncomfortable. He said he knows eventually we'll both move on to have our own relationships but for now he's enjoying what we have and my company. I never heard of a man who still enjoys being around a woman who rejected him. Is it possible he just likes being around a woman who makes him happy, especially after ending a 7-year relationship or is he still trying? I don't know what to do, I don't want to mislead/ hurt him in any way because he is a really, really good man. We're just not a fit for many reasons I won't share because it'll be a novel. |
