Question: What would you think of a daughter whom faked her own death to her Mother.? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 01:50 PM PDT Even though they are kind of estranged. Now my mother has dementia and told me my sister's husband called her one day and told her my sister is dead. Now I know she isn't but she never talks to any of us, anyway. Want's nothing to do with her family and she has her daughter turned against all of us also. At first I din't believe my mom, but that sounds like something she would do because she coldly never spoke to my mom for years. Yes my mom is difficult, but still our mother. I know people with dementia are forgetful, but maybe my Sister was doing what was the best thing for her conveyant |
Question: My moms phone has been going straight to vm for a few hours now, what do I do? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 01:33 PM PDT I'm at my dads house and my mom lives about 30-45 minutes away and every time I text her they don't deliever and when I call, it goes straight to voicemail. I know I shouldn't worry but my mom and I are super close and I can't help it. Her phone has never been off or dead this long. She literally always has it on her and charged. It's 1:31 pm and I'm trying to think what she could be doing. I texted my cousin who lives in the same town as her to go check on her but he won't be home until 8 tonight. What do I do??? If I tell my dad I know he won't drive me to her house because he will think that's pointless. That's completely out of the question. |
Posted: 31 Jul 2016 01:17 PM PDT I live in Washington. My cousin from Florida is coming to live with us for a few days. We visited him when we were around 8. Ps I am a girl and now 14 and he s 13. We haven t seen each other since. How do I act? Need to now! |

But anyways I'm away from my mom who I hug the most and my arms are aching because I just want to hug her soo bad or maybe even anyone . But my arms are literally hurting cuhs I want to hug someone . What could this be ? |
Question: I think my mother hates me? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 12:57 PM PDT Ever since I was born my mother never payed attention to me. Even my father admitted that my mom has no motherly instincts and that she never played with me because she simply couldn't. She'd always hire someone to take care of me, or call up my grandmother to fly to our home to take care of me for a couple of months. Back then everything was going well with her job until I turned 3-4. She was fired from her job and found a new one which required her to sit in an office all day working her *** off. She'd come home late at night and leave early in the morning. She barely had time for herself and I completely understood her. My father then left me an my mother for over a year and came back. Years later, I was the one who found out that he was cheating on my mother - so I told her. Whilst he was on a 'Business trip' she kicked him out but recently he came back even though I was very against it. I was really depressed for months and my grades went downhill, I just felt like nothing could get better and my mom certainly didn't make anything better. I tried talking to her about him but every time she pushed me away and snapped at me. She always did it, but when I told her that I'm not ready for him to come back because I haven't forgiven him - she said "You don't understand, he's your father and you're just a selfish brat!". She never tried to understand me and ended up hurting me even more. When he came back I refused to eat or talk to anyone and she simply did not care. |
Question: My dad searched my room? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 12:46 PM PDT Is it normal for teenagers (I'm 14, male) to have their parents randomly search their room without consent? I'm not saying I'm completely against, but I'm have suspicious of whether it's orthodox to do this. He found a box of condoms (we're having a garage sale soon, my best guess is that he was looking through my room for possessions that could be sold and I won't miss) and things have been awkward between us. |
Question: Mum didn't wanna come back to her "normal life"? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 12:40 PM PDT My mum went away for the weekend with some friends, leaving me and my dad. When she came back earlier today, she kept saying how she had a really good time and didn't wanna go back to her normal life. I interpreted this as her life with me, my bro and dad. I took this quite personally. Made me feel like Im too boring for her, or not enough to make her happy. Also made me feel quite unwanted. Do you think I'm being overly touchy, or was my mum insensitive to say this? |
Question: How do I convince my parents that I hate sports and don't want to play for my school team? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 12:07 PM PDT My parents want me to play tennis but I HATE IT. I have tried every other sport ranging from track to soccer to volleyball. I truly hate sports. I am a very artistic person but my parents rather spend money on sports I hate than art lessons, violin lessons or theater. I have told my mother I don't want to play anymore but shes still forcing me. They control my life...I'm not aloud to have a friend over in the same week during the summer and at all during school. I am in all of the honors classes my school offers and I taking a foreign language 2 and two math classes. I am a sophomore this year and I don't know what else they want me to give them. I have had no childhood and I am very responsible. Please help me, I don't want to do something I don't enjoy anymore. I am still scared to talk to my parents but I don't know what to do about this. I thought my mother would understand but she didn't when I told her. |

Question: Dealing with a bratty teenage sister? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 11:47 AM PDT My little sister and I clash. A lot.She will turn 16 this August. She can be the sweetest kid ever one minute and like the flick of a switch she can become the bratiest kid I've ever met. I'm 19 and I am home at my parents for the summer before I go back to college in September. I really wanted to try and spend more time with my sister since I feel bad I can't see her more during the school year. I do come home for her important events and sports games. It's frustrating that she doesn't see how much I care about her when she acts the way she does. My mom was married to someone else before she met my step dad ( he's really amazing and an awesome dad to me). My biological father was absent since I was born and really sick as a kid. I definitely acted out a lot and I feel horrible for some of the things I have said to my mom as a kid. Thank god for the patience that she has because I don't know where I'd be without her. Any who growing up was really rough for me because my father is a druggie and an alcoholic. He used to be a cop but then decided that didn't apply to him any more. My sister and I grew up differently and while I know my mom worked so hard to support me It was really really hard. Some days my sister gets whiny when she doesn't get her way and I have expressed to my mom that I wasn't allowed to act like that why should she how can I get her to realize how bratty she is acting? Sincerely A fed up big sister. |
Question: Would it be weird if I invited my son's father to go on vacation with us? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 11:45 AM PDT Hi. My ex moved to my state a year ago to be closer to our son. He is having a hard time adjusting and suffers from PTSD and depression. Our vacation starts in 1 week. Should I invite my sons father to go with us? |
Question: Why are parents sooooo annoying & stupid about everything!!!!? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 11:44 AM PDT |
Question: Why does my mum treat me like rubbish? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 11:40 AM PDT So today we were all having dinner as a family and I went into the kitchen to make desert and it went kind of wrong. So I went into the dining room and put it on the table and she looked at me and said you out blueberries in it and rolled her eyes, so then I gave some to my dad and she had this really horrible look on her face like oh he s going to hate it so I left because I went out of my way to make it but it wasn t appreciated so she then screamed at me because I was acting like a child (I m 14) so I said to her I don t really feel like eating it when no one will appreciate it so she shouted at me saying " There is no way in hell I am letting you see your friends for the next week after treating me like that" and I was just thinking I haven t done anything seriously. So she said I had to go to my room because she doesn t even want to look at me, so I went and she screams at me again because I didn t tidy up the kitchen but I was literally just told to go upstairs. She s so confusing and rude sometimes always comparing me to my brother, I m not even allowed to hum to songs in the car because "my brother doesn t like it" but yet when he hits and punches me it s fine. |
Question: Why when parents say there disappointed in you it hurts so much? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 11:39 AM PDT |
Question: Is it common for children to physically fight with their parents? :(? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 11:28 AM PDT My mother was an alcoholic since I was born(she had postpartum depression), and I was a child with a pervasive developmental delay. I was very spirited and had a lot of tantrums many times. When I was 11-13 and got a little bigger though, a lot of anger and disappointment surfaced from my mom's drinking and our arguments escalated to slapping, hair-pulling, even biting sometimes, me pulling a knife on her, and even once I was so frustrated that I pushed her down our very small set of backdoor stairs once(when I say small I mean like 3 steps). My mom died from alcohol poisoning when I was 13(I'm 22 now). I now feel TERRIBLE that I did all of this stuff to her as a kid, because when she was sober she was the greatest mom :( I just wan't to know if I'm alone in my actions or not. Is it common for young kids to do things like this? Especially children of alcoholic parents? |
Question: Help! My grandfather used to french kiss me.? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 11:18 AM PDT okay so i'm 12 and when i was about 6 or 8 years old my grandpa came into my room and started french kissing me, then kissing my neck and telling me that he did this all because he loved me, he then heard a door outside of my room and must've thought that someone was coming because he quickly sprinted out of my room. This continued for around 7 months, whenever he saw me, he would always find a way to get us all by ourselves and do the same thing over and over again. It all stopped one time i started screaming and my sister came into the room. I don't know if my parents know the whole story or if they know what really happened, but i don't remember them taking any sort of action on the matter. I currently live in Mexico and so does he, i don't know what to do or if I can report him to the police since it happened years ago. Someone help please! **EDIT. He used yo kiss my neck and whisper things into my ear too, so in fact, it WAS sexual contact |
Question: Son misses mom every night? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 10:57 AM PDT My girlfriend and I have a son and we both work. I work during the day, she waitresses at night. Our son is 5. He always gets sad at bedtime when she's not there for the " tuck in/story" session. To ease his pain I gave him t shirts of hers that he sleeps in or put something of hers next to his bed. Some nights it's enough, but, other nights it isn't and he will ask to go see her and I have to tell him no because it's past bedtime and Mom wouldn't want him up past bedtime. Is there anything else I can do? we're both 23 btw |
Question: Do you think my sister's friends mother doesn't like her? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 10:57 AM PDT I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I just can't figure it out on my own. My older sister has been best friends with this girl for five years. They have had their ups and down together, but they remained together. My sister has invited her friend over our house for her birthday party a few times. She asked her mother and she said she'll be there. On the day of the party, they never showed up. We called them several times, but there phone service was turned off. The very next day, the girl called stating that she had to watch her little brother. That's all fine and dandy, but why didn't you contact us the day before? Or even the day of? I was disappointed in her irresponsibility, but I didn't have a bad view of her. My sister invites her to several other birthday celebrations and she never showed up. Same excuse every time as well. Now, I started to think that she was using my sister after the fifth time, but that wasn't the case. Earlier within this year, my sister invited her friend over our house. She had to ask her mother since she also |
Question: Ugh! Why are my parents so embarassing?!? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 10:40 AM PDT Okay, no troll answers please. My parents took me and my stupid little brother for a walk with MY dog. It's mine, yes. But my mom kept telling me to pull my pants up during the walk. I don't know why, they're skinny jeans and they're up to my waist. But then my mom did the dumbest thing: she pulled her pants down so everyone could see her underwear and just kept walking like that. My dad's laughing, my brother's laughing, everyone is having a fun time. But she's just so embarrassing to be around. It's annoying. |
Question: Got into a huge fight with my parents, help? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 10:22 AM PDT Long story short, I got into a huge argument with my parents; probably one of the biggest yet over something trivial. I hurt my father the most and I have been very nervous about approaching him because I do want to apologize, sincerely. I bought a used car and I need to have it registered, licensed, and insured before I can start driving it but my father needs to come with me. I need it by this Friday because I have been planning something with my crush for 3 weeks now and if I don't have a car, I'll be devastated because he lives opposite direction of me and the place we're going is far. I want to apologize to my dad and I want him to come with me to do all that paperwork for the car tomorrow (monday) because i have a feeling it's going to take a while. |
Question: Can someone help me out please :/? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 10:19 AM PDT I like this girl a lot and she was talking to other guy. She kinda show some sign that she like me. So i confess my feeling. I said " i just wanted to be with you and make you happy. I dont want someone i care about get hurt or feeling left out. I want to make you the happiest girl in the world" I waited for her the whole night and the next morning i ask her again and she reply : i dont like you like that im sorry" I ignore her and i move on. And later she sent me a pic of the guy she like. Then i call her out for being an assshole |

Question: Why is mom being so mean? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 09:48 AM PDT Ok so my mom and dad are going through bad problems right now. I really want them to divorce because its giving me anxiety. Anyways, they got in a very big argument today and my dad left. Then, my mom CALLED MY COUSINS (from my dads side) THAT LIVE IN A DIFFERENT COUNTRY, AND IS TALKING CRAP ABOUT MY DAD FOR 2 HOURS. Like do they have to do anything with that? No they dont. I can hear everything from my room. I feel so bad for my cousins because they probably think my mom is crazy. Im so pissed. I can still hear her ranting to them right now. Im just crying right now. What do I do? please help... |
Question: Am I doing something wrong here. Your advice PLEASE.? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 09:45 AM PDT I got a call from my ex wife's mother and she told me a storm had knocked out the power to her home and it would not be back for 2 days. She was scared to stay in a house with no power for 2 days and asked if she could stay at my house until the power to hers was restored. I told her I would be happy to help her and to come on over. I really liked her when she was my mother in law but we had drifted apart after her daughter and I divorced. After she returned home, I got a call from my ex wife asking what I had done to her mother. My ex wife said she had not seen her mother so happy and full of life in years. She said what did you do to her. I explained that the first day she was at my house I took her to a mall and then to a high end restaurant (Ruth Chris) for dinner. The second day I took her to an outlet mall and that evening to another high end restaurant. Then to my surprise my ex wife Jo said "Can you do it again for mom and this time can I come along"? This was a total surprise to me but I told her we could do it again next week if it was OK with her mom. My friends, especially the male ones tell me I am crazy to be doing this with my ex mother in law and my ex wife. They say I should stay completely away from them and let them get on with their lives and I get on with mine. Is my ex wife using me for a free meal? PLEASE TELL ME IF I AM DOING SOMETHING WRONG. THANKS |
Question: My sister is getting divorced, should I take her side since she is my sister? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 09:35 AM PDT I want to stay out of it as I privately think she is wrong to be divorcing her husband for the reasons she gives (money and he isn't able to travel as much as she wants). I am not siding against her as I just keep my mouth shut and recognize it is not my life. However, should I be on her side or am I fine to just keep my mouth shut and act like I have no opinion? |
Posted: 31 Jul 2016 09:31 AM PDT Her family has this weird thing where the children (grown and little) of their enemies are looked at as second rate. So I am missing out due to my mother's bitterness. The fights start sometimes not at my mother's doing but always my mother escalates them. How do I point this out to her when I am her son and not supposed to lecture her? |
Question: Is my mom overreacting or is what my sister doing really that bad? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 09:26 AM PDT So my sister is 20 yrs old and occasionally she spends the night at her on again/off again boyfriend s house. My mom gets understandably upset, she the old fashioned type and she doesn t want my sister to get hurt by this guy. But then my mom starts getting really worried and makes up stories like maybe my sister is lying and she s with someone else and all kinds of other horrible things. Now I know my sister does lie sometimes, but there s no reason for her to lie about spending the night with her bf because we know where he lives with his dad and his number, and my sister knows my mom would not hesitate to go over and see if she s really there. Now what my question is, is what my sister doing really that bad or is my mom overreacting? I don t know why my mom acts so hurt and angry when my sister has done this before, and at least she does eventually text letting us know she won t be home that night. |
Posted: 31 Jul 2016 09:25 AM PDT I am a guy in his early 20s that lives at home with his mother. I work 6 days a week and attend my local college, so I am doing something with my life. My mother and I have a weird relationship, one day things are fine and the next thing is she loses her mind over the littlest of things. This morning, as I was going to my bus, apparently she was behind me with grocery bags calling out my name. I didn t hear her because I was concentrating on making my bus to work. She then texted me saying how much of an ungrateful POS I am, and she hates my guts. I didn t notice her, and she gets angry at me, even though I try to reason. Other situations she would blame me for her problems at work, she would say "I wish I had an abortion or I would rather talk to my deceased mother instead of me". I help out with she needs, I buy her food, I am good at school and work hard, but maybe it s her work that s getting to her. She says that I won t have success like her and I ll be a low life all my life. At this point I want to drop everything, save up a couple grand and move to a new state on my own with whatever I have. I d rather be homeless then deal with this. It s always going to be like this between me and her. She has a great paying job, and she shows it off. I am different. I am more reserved and do my own thing if you will. I don t do drugs or sit on my hide all day. Am I bad son? Should I just leave to elsewhere and get a degree in what I want (plumbing) and not what she wants (lawyer) |
Question: Is it the more exposure is why? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 09:07 AM PDT I am a female and I am kind of confused about this too? I recently got married and was at a barbecue with my husbands family. Our neice Sabrina who is 7 1/2 repeatedly misbehaved and got taken in the house for a spanking over Daddy's lap. I am familiar with spankings with the rear of my school skirt or dress lifted up but what my Brother in law did seem odd or overkill? I DID NOT watch (and it was in the house in private) Sabrina get spanked but I noticed that Dad before he spanked Sabrina slid her entire skirt (not just the rear) up past her waist. Sabrina's satin white panty was fully exposed like she had no skirt on at all I asked another friend about this and she said "it makes a better felt spanking for the little girl". I don't understand why it would be? |
Question: DITCHING FAMILY FOR FESTIVAL WITH FRIENDS? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 08:32 AM PDT So there's this festival me and my friends have been dying to go to for AGES AGES AGES. And we planned everything (transport etc) then when we went to buy the tickets my mum said I couldn't go because it was my grandad's 60th birthday party. WHY WOULD I CHOOSE MY GRANDAD'S 60th PARTY FULL OF OLD PEOPLE OVER A FESTIVAL WITH MY FRIENDS AND ALL MY FAVOURITE BANDS THERE?? Don't get me wrong I spend time with my family often, but I'm 16 and can't my mum see that a family party is not at the top of my list of priorities? Can't she remmeber what it felt like to be 16 and miss out on things like this? This festival has been MY WILL TO CARRY ON. I go to this family party every year and every year (everyone secretly agrees) it is extremely boring. Advice? Am I being a shallow teenager for not wanting to go, or can you see where I'm coming from? |
Question: Can men wish their sister on sister day or only girls can wish other girls? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 08:24 AM PDT I have sibling type relations with a girl . Just wanted to know if boys can wish girls on Sister day or only girls can wish girls on Sister day .I know that there's a sibling day but it has already passed . So just wanna know if i could wish her on sister day , will that be okay or not ? |
Posted: 31 Jul 2016 08:16 AM PDT Long story short I have one sibling, who's my older brother. He's in his early 30's and still living with our parents and I. I'm a lot younger than him and just started college last year, majoring in business/management. He started college around my age then dropped out because he got overwhelmed with all the studying and homework/schoolwork then made his new goal to be a professional singer and actor. Additionally, he quit his part time job to make more time for this goal. For over several years he's been joining agencies (a couple of them charged a fee), auditioning for commercials, contacting famous people on social media which he said they responded but I'm skeptical if these people are legit and meeting up with "professional music developers". He got scammed by each "agency" so far but keeps trying because he says he won't give up until he gets his dream job and refuses a regular job (even to help him in the meantime). Our dad is getting concerned and so am I. There was a time last year when he moved in with a roommate but after quitting that part time job (stating that he was about to get a huge paycheck from one of those agencies) he got scammed, never got paid and he couldn't pay the rent anymore so he got kicked out by the roommate then moved back in with us because our mom would feel bad about seeing him homeless. Our dad has brought up if he can move out again but my brother gets offended, tells my mom, and our parents get in a fight (despite still being married). The main problem is, my dad keeps considering making him move out and occasionally brings that up to my brother but then my mom combats it ans guilt trips and it ends up in a fight. I'm tired of hearing them fight about this. It's like a war of who decides what happens with my brother. They can't seem to agree. Listen, this is my business too so don't assume it isn't. All this fighting has recently been affecting my studying and focus on homework. Being my age and still in college I'm in no position to move out otherwise I would. This is just as much my business as it is my parents. |
Question: How to get rid of emotionally/verbally abusive brother? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 08:15 AM PDT My brother has become extremely abusive towards my mother. He threatens her all the time and belittles her, he tells her things like "you're the dumbest person I know" "dad should abuse you a little so you know what suffering feels like" "I will break your head" all because my mom doesn't give him money (she doesn't trust him with it because he might buy drugs). He can't work bc his visa doesn't allow him to so he just stays home and is constantly angry because of it. Prior his visa change, he was able to do everything but he messed it up by doing drugs and hanging out with the wrong crowds. Now he has charges and has a court date in late August but I really just want him to be out of the house before then. He steals money from my dad who is traveling right now and now he even does it right in front of my mom. I don't know what to do, if I were to turn him in, I would need proof but i don't know exactly what kinda proof should I get I guess. Please, I really need help. |

Question: My moms not home???!!!!! help!!!? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 07:25 AM PDT i slept around 10 because i got of the plane about a week ago and im still jet lagged. and i woke up around 6:30 am. right now its 7:08 am. when i woke up i had to use the restroom (which is in my moms room) when i looked at her room she wasnt there. i was surprised and kinda worried. the reason i was "kinda" worried is that this happened before but she came back around 6 in the morning. btw i am 11 and my sister is 14. she is sleeping. so the first thing i did was look on my moms history on her computer and the last time that she was on there was 11:00 am yesterday. so in my opinion i think she went to the casino. not the bar because she doesnt drink. she sometimes smokes but never infront of us. one time she told me she was going to smoke which really pissed me off. anyways when i call her it goes straight to voicemail. i would say my mom is sorta addicted to the casino. she goes there more then most people go there in a year. she has this friend and her friend smokes, drinks, and goes to the casino as well. i think shes such a bad influence on my mom. but my mom is sort of a mom who is like that as well. but mostly shes loving and caring. i love her so much. im starting to get rreally worried. its 7:14 am right now. IM CALLING HER RIGHT NOW SHE ANSWERED THE PHONE AND SAID SHE WAS AT THE CASINO sorry for caps but she said she will get up in 5 mins but she always says that and ends up staying there for like 5 more hours. she was there for around 7 or 8 hours |
Question: My Mum Changes for her boyfriend? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 07:15 AM PDT Ok so my mum recently divorced my father after things weren't working out blah blah, but ever since my mum has changed, she set her self up for about ten dating websites and took photos of herself naked , she was talking to about 4 guys at the same time sexually, but she finally met a guy named Cole (whose now her boyfriend) 😁 And she acts way different when he comes over. She suddenly acts like a Christian when he's around - and immediately punishes me for even saying '****' when I'm 16 years old ready to get a life of my own soon. She purposely pisses my father off by sending pictures. Of her . And Cole to him . She doesn't pay the mortgage to my dads house which she is supposed to. She gets into fights and acts like a brat. She acts like she is 14 and every time I tell her how I feel she gets angry. Cole even threatens me . I'm so pissed off. What do I do |
Question: Am I in the wrong here with my mother? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 06:50 AM PDT I am a guy in his early 20s that lives at home with his mother.
Question: Why does my father make sexual jokes regarding me? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 06:41 AM PDT so we were at the dinner table and at one point I pointed out that I was getting lots of bruises on my arms and legs because of my work (I work in a fast food chain and often bump into things but nothing major) and my dad goes something like "if you continue going to lil parties .." and i obviously went back telling him how would you get bruises at parties and he very subtly replied that it depends on what kind of parties I go to. The premise is that I never go to parties or do anything, I m really a private person and there s nothing that could suggest that I m a party animal which makes my dads comments not only out of context but also I think inappropriate. |
Question: My mother makes me so depressed? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 06:38 AM PDT Well get along fine for a while, but then later on she'll just turn. I'd wonder if it's something I said or did but I haven't done anything. She does this a lot. I'll come out the shower and she'll be frowning at me and shouting and when I'd ask her what's wrong what have I don't she'll shout nothing and keep being horrible. Then she'll pick on little things that she doesn't usually care about like saying she hates living here with us. She does this a lot and it makes me so miserable. When she turns like this I just sit in my room and cry for hours and feel so down. I tell myself it'll pass and she'll change and she usually does after a few days and things will be ok again, but then a week later she'll switch again, Should I just stop having a relationship with her and ignore her? She always brings up her past when she was a teenager and her ex husband and it's like she hates me because I remind her she's not young anymore. She's fat and she blames me even though she had me 17 years ago. |
Question: Why does my mom think that everyone will do things her own way? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 06:09 AM PDT I know her house her rules lol but it is not just me though when anyone else doesn't do her way she gets mad or upset it's kinda funny but also annoying, because she needs to realize that not everyone will do things her own way. |
Question: Why do people keep accusing my friend of incest? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 06:01 AM PDT she was dating her brother...... incest definition involves sexual intercourse. no sexual contact occurred. they were just dating. it was romantic. sometimes they kiss. but no sexual relations. therefore, by definition, it's not incest. |

Question: My stepsister is stealing from me? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 05:54 AM PDT I moved to my dad's house around 2 years ago, after living with my mom my whole life. My mom kicked me out because I was failing a class. But ever since I moved to my dad's I've noticed that my stepsister has stolen a lot of my stuff. When I first moved in, I kept my wallet on my bedside stand and within a week, my $100ish turned to $5. I asked my stepmom about it and she said that 'I was lying and must've spent it.' I also had a box of old pokemon cards just because I was gonna sell them. But all of them disappeared within weeks. I confronted my stepsister about this and she said she didn't have them and then she slammed the door on my face. But when she was at the store with my stepmom, I looked through her room. I found a majority of them in an old bookbag of hers. When my stepsister got home I punched her in the face. Then I got grounded for 2 weeks and I'm not sure why. But after this, I started hiding my wallet and other things that I didn't want stolen. Under my dresser, in the back of my closet, etc. I usually go a couple months without her being able to find it. But I've had around $750 stolen so far. not including the value of the pokemon cards. I've also had countless incidents of hidden food and candy being stolen from me. My stepmom and dad don't believe that she's stealing from me. So what can I do? |

Question: What might be wrong with my brother? Read below....? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 05:25 AM PDT My brother is 20 and he has a weird obsession with Christmas. About this time of year he starts worrying that he won't be able to see both parents and both sets of grandmothers at Christmas. As a kid our mother was not good about supporting a two parent relationship after her divorce. She put her negative feelings about our Dad onto us. Our Dad never fought her over this for some reason. So come about age 15 my brother developed this strange obsession about Christmas. He became terrified our mother wouldn't let us see our Dad at Christmas. She didn't allow us to some years when we were little but once my brother started having this fear my mother stopped restricting us and we have seen him every year since plus we are older now. Years that we couldn't see our Dad we missed out on seeing his parents and the rest of his family also. So now my brother has this fear we won't see our Dad (his new wife) and our grandmother on our Dad's side (grandfather died). So what might be the cause of this? Is it like a PTSD thing? My brother is always an anxious person and in therapy. He has severe anxiety and something called OCD. Any thoughts? Any ways I could help? He has begun with the Christmas talk in the past two weeks or so and it will get real persistent come September. (I HAVE ASKED TWICE BUT NOT GOTTEN ANSWERS, LAST TIME I'LL ASK) |
Posted: 31 Jul 2016 05:13 AM PDT Okay I'm starving and I can't get food because my mom is sleeping in the other room and if I wake her up she'll kill me. I can't get money because I left them in the room my mom is sleeping in. Im dying. How do I survive until she wakes up? |
Question: Should I confess? (this is nothing to do with religion)? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 05:13 AM PDT Basically, I have a laptop and my brother also has a user account thingy on my laptop but he doesn't use it since he has his own computer, and he has no private stuff on there, nothing. My dad put a lock on my account because when I was on my laptop I was late for dinner and stuff like that. The lock means I'm locked out of it between 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm. This was done ages ago. I figured out my brother's password and just went on his account when I was locked out of mine. I did this for a while but a month or so ago it hit me how deceitful I was being and I felt awful. I deleted all the internet history and I haven't been on the account in ages. I feel like I should own up to my parents what I did. What do you think? |
Posted: 31 Jul 2016 05:07 AM PDT Ever since I was born she was like this. used to show me mean tv movies like "The wizard of Oz" (witch used to scare me, she would laugh at me cowering in fear) or scary movies for adults (like Chuckie or Saw) & she told me to watch "The Witches" That movie wa soo bad! hate thinking about it (I do) i saw those ladies in a absolutely disgusting sexual kind of way (my mother was talking about ladies having sex & I remember finding it quite disgusting (the kind of manner she was talking about) & I said something to her, I don't remember exactly what i was saying but she found it funny & she laughed rudely in my face & my feelings were hurt really bad!) The part when the kid turned into a mouse when the witch turned into a ugly bald ***** I was soo frightened & disgusted!! She laughed at me & told me I looked like that lady & my feelings hurt soo bad!! (I was a very pretty looking girl!! She just said it >:( she was mad) she used to yell a lot too and about certain things she lied to me. dad and her would fight all the time too. i know she has a very bad past with old wounds but she really seems to have something against me but i dont know how she could when i havent done anything to her because i was a born child. i dont think shes a good mom. |
Question: My parents are fighting. What should I do? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 05:06 AM PDT I'm a 13 year old boy with three younger sisters and the day before yesterday our parents got into a fight. My dad is out of country and sent us back to our own country. Then he gave our car to my uncle. That made my mom really mad. Our grandmother(fathers mom) said to my mom one morning that she is scared of my aunt(uncles wife). That made my mom really mad and she went into an outrage was screaming and shouting. Both of my grandmothers(mom and dad) were there at that time. Then my mom kicked my dads mom out of the house and at that same moment my uncle came(that makes me think it was set up.). Things cooled down for a while. When my dad found out he called my mom and told her to apologize but instead my mom shouted at him and kept the phone. Now they talked again and dad told mom to give all the money which he gave her to his mom. She said "OK, I'll slam the money on your moms face and leave the house with the kids and go to my moms house". Now what do I do. I don't want them to get divorced. |

Would Forgiveness, Gratitude and Grace, miraculously make all this go away if the adult can fully use the three even though they tried many times before unsuccessfully |

Question: My uncle doesnt give me any attention? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 03:27 AM PDT I am 19 years old (male) and my sister is 22 years old. My uncle lives abroad and we often go visit him. My uncle doesnt give me any sort of attention but he and my aunt are always giving my sister attention. Like my uncle and aunt are always trying to bond their kids with my sister and they have left me alone. Once he brought a birthday cake for his 5 year old son and he showed it to my sister and he didnt even showed it to me. There are numerous occasions more on which I have felt lonely. Why? |
Question: Physiologic help, is my dad crazy? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 03:25 AM PDT My dad is strange. One second he's normal the other he is angry at the world. I think he might be bipolar but I mention it one time to him and he got so mad because he thought I was trying to tell him he was crazy. Another thing is he got in an argument with his father years back. They haven't spoken dice. His father passes away. He visits a family member and they tell him he looked like his father. Ever since then he wants to look just like him. He is wearing his clothes, he let his beard grow out, etc. Has my dad gone mental? |
Question: I m 17 in deep depression, what do I do? Posted: 31 Jul 2016 03:18 AM PDT I just graduated and I m more depressed and stressed than ever. (Let me just say that my mom is handicapped and can barely walk let alone work). My dad has been having this weird obsession of wanting to look like his dead father(my grandfather). They had an argument at one point and my dad never spoke to my grandfather again. He now wears his dads clothing and even grew out his beard to look like him which I think is bit crazy. I also think he might be bipolar. He now wants to literally kick my mother out into the street. I have 4 sisters ( 1 older, 3 younger). My oldest sister(20) and I work and we saved up pretty well. We have often thought about getting an apartment and bringing my mom in because she too is very depressed and has many mental problems because of my dad. I just don t know how to deal with college, work , paying bills, and where my 3 little sisters will end up because he s crazy. We mention him going therapy as well as the whole family because I believe we all need it but he just gets aggressive about it and says he s not crazy that we are the ones who are crazy. Any ideas or comments. Sorry if this was long but I m just confused and don t know what to do. Thanks. |
