So I laughed it off too. *He's my coworker and when I message him he sometimes gets into long conversations like he doesn't want to stop talking, or he'll tell me 'adios Chica Bonita' before he leaves. I noticed he checked out my LinkedIn too. But other times he ignores me. *He recently volunteered to carry some boxes for me and he's started dressing up more at work. *I was leaving my job soon. For the first half when he was away I cared so much and then I started going out and having a lot of fun and now that he's back I don't care. When I was with him I felt awkward and when he wanted to hu I just saw him as my best friend. I'm not sexually attracted to him at all anymore for some reason. I had to force my self to kiss him. He hugged me earlier after I told him I was feeling sad. He didn't smile and I told him to smile but he said he doesn't want to. He's generally happy and positive despite having trouble with his dad. She told me more recently that "It just doesn't feel good most of the time." We have had our relationship struggles generally but over all, a good relationship except for the lack of sex. We have gone from regular sex in the first year or two (3-4 times a week), to 3 times a month over the last several years and it continues to fall. I stopped suggesting sexual encounters years ago because of the answer being no more than yes and me not wanting to make her feel bad for not wanting to. When we do have sex, I am playful, liberal with massage and foreplay and she does not reciprocate. That part makes me more upset than the infrequency issue. I would like to think that if my partner wanted me to touch them even a shoulder rub, that I would (and I do) love to do it to make them feel good even though there is nothing else in it for me. Yet with her, she is very loving in every other way, like a best friend; lots of hugs and laughter and great conversation. Just not into sex or massage... And I am 35 and she is 50 and likely beginning menopause (men-on-pause?). So my question is one of curiosity. If your partner stopped wanting sex because of biological changes, would that be a deal breaker for you or would you be willing to spend the rest of your life largely celibate? What would you do? |

My friend gave him my number and he texted me, he was being really nice, but he stopped replying after the conversation began to die off. We see each other at school but we never speak a word.
