Question: Do opposites really attract!!? Posted: 24 Jul 2016 04:10 PM PDT New vstudies have show opposites only attract in the youth when they 'still wanna try something new' later in life when people are looking for a steady relationship or marriage they tend to pick people who look like they do (not exactly but with similar features, ethnic background, social economic classes) |
Question: My boyfriend want to have another child but won't propose? Posted: 24 Jul 2016 03:47 PM PDT Why would a man be with a woman for 3 years almost 4 and not pop the question? It has been discussed on multiple occasions so he is aware. He has brung up the idea of wanting a 2nd child and is willing to start ttc but won't propose. Why? I've asked him and he'll say things like " we will get married " but doesn't know when .. It's confusing and frustrating.. A ring is so much cheaper than a baby so I doubt money is the reason đ . Just curious of others opinions |

Question: After 15 years my father contacted me but...? Posted: 24 Jul 2016 02:53 PM PDT okay so I'm 17 years old, and after 15 years the father I never knew contacted me through facebook (at first I thought it was sketchy but his whole story checks out). So my father texts me through facebook messenger for a few days and we just talk casually (except not too casually because he's like 50 and I'm 17 so I have no idea what he's in to). But on the third day I was kind of getting annoyed to always having to text him because I don't like texting 24/7 I have things to do and also I was wondering if this was gonna go on forever as well, because we can't just text forever what kind of relationship does that build? He's a total stranger and i always felt like I was texting some odd foreign guy whenever I talked with him. The problem is, I pushed him away and said it's too late for a father daughter relationship and I'm already 17 I'm fine without him blah blah blah I cant be the daughter he wants (I'm so dramatic I hate myself). I'M FEELING SEVERE GUILT. IT'S GNAWING AT MY MIND I WANT TO JUMP OFF A BUILDING. This man cares so much about me like it's unbelievable but because I'm evil I pushed him away and said all those things. I can't text the guy everyday but I don't want him to feel terrible, I don't hate him I just can't get this guilt off my chest. I told him my true feelings but why do I feel like breaking down crying. What should I do, was it the right thing to push him away? |
Question: What do they call these people...? Posted: 24 Jul 2016 01:28 PM PDT You trust a person, but when you find yourself in an heated argument, i would like to know how can you deal with someone who decides to use personal opinions against you when they're mad with you. in other words, situations that arise they you, thought they agreed on, but due to their anger with you, they bring that event up out of the blue and air their real feelings about it. |

Posted: 24 Jul 2016 01:12 PM PDT Getting overly sucked in to my needier housemates new life dramas which in turn only going to zap my own energy, so i try to avoid whenever i can, by staying in my room, but its hard, i sneak downstairs and she hears me, & opens her door or she comes up to my door ready to talk. she is melodramatic, looking for a shoulder to cry on, i would make an excuse to say I'm busy. but it must come out the way, because whenever i dismiss her officially, she does the following: The Texter: my roommate never actually air her grievances in person, but she has most definitely sent a text not to Me but the roommate who is on the lease, regarding all of the problems she has with the living Situation. The Sly Dog: My roommate yells about issues to one in particular, so i am never knowing what is going on next until the one in particular tells me, how everything is all their fault. |

Question: What Exactly Does He Want? Posted: 24 Jul 2016 11:45 AM PDT His grandma and I live in the same apt complex and her grandson comes there often, the thing is he's made excuses to text me like did my grandma make it up ok? When he could just call his grandma. He's asked randomly to email me exam prep material to help for my exam(65 files. In the beginning I asked to go out and it didn't work out but we became friends again then he asked me to go eat, I've seen him glance in my apt direction when he goes to his grandmas. When I called him out from all the signs knowing he had a gf and I said a guy who has a gf can't be interested in me and he said he said he wasn't and that he had a gf he was happy with. One day he was giving me gym advice and said "don't you have a bf to teach you all this?" and i catch him glancing over and looking a lot? What's his deal? His parents also look and smile and fidget when they see me.People say friendly but why would he stare and look secretly?? Also, i don't think the gf relationship is serious cause no photos together on fb or ig and his relationship status is hidden and they've been together for 4 years already. He also doesn't go to his grandmas when my car isn't parked and i'm out of town(my roommate tells me) grandma isn't sick or anything. He comes 3x a week to the apts. Can it still happen between us? when we got into the fight I said don't message me again and i told him he's the one chasing me. After the fight a year has passed and he saw me outside and looked and smiled at me. We're both 26 btw |

Question: Did she not like my gift? Posted: 24 Jul 2016 07:54 AM PDT My co worker was my Bestfriend. Recently she passed away... I've gotten real close with her sister through Facebook, although we've never met in person. She always like all of my posts and is very loving supportive in the loss I'm having to endure too. I sent her a letter in the mail along with a jar full of notes she can pick out on a bad day when she's not feeling good, hoping it can make the day better. The letter and the jar notes were all very sentimental and "I didn't want to make her cry) but I'm sure she did.. She's very religious so it's full of bible versus. I was so excited to send it, I'm not sayings I expected an extravagant response I WASNT but she said "Thank you so much for my jar, it's wonderful......." I don't know why but I feel like she didn't like it. Why'd she put so many dots? Any advice? |
Question: Women, what can I do to be her man? Posted: 24 Jul 2016 05:39 AM PDT I know she's in a relationship but I know she can do so better. She's so amazing she's like an angel she is a ******* godess. I just want to see her be happy but we're not really talking much. Our last convo was a week ago over text. I think her guy knows about our texts but the thing is she always checks me when I'm wrong. I'll text her she's amazing & she'll say I'm smart & such an amazing human when I don't even believe that. I'm at war with myself & In my eyes she's the closest thing that I have to God. She's the reason I wake up in the morning but it feels like she hates me. I know you've been with him for 6 years but it goes on & off & I don't want to see him hurt her anymore. I'm scared that I'm gonna die alone but I want her to be happy and healthy and liberated. I want her to be free and I want to free her from his prison. He's the only real relationship she's had because she's 21 going on 22 but she's more than a body to me she's proof that I am loved. I read her texts when I consider offing myself. As wrong as it is I hope they don't last & it's selfish I know but FML. Do I still have a chance? What can I text her cause last thing she texted me was yes (my name) tell me what can I help u with. I know she cares |
Question: My neighbour won't give me my ball back? Can he do this? Posted: 24 Jul 2016 05:28 AM PDT My little brother was using my football to play football with his friends when one of his friends kicked it over the neighbour's garden. Our neighbour is 47-year-old man who lives with his 16-year-old son. My brother and his friends went to his house to ask him for the ball back, but no one was in the house at the time. I went over there a couple of hours later to ask him for my football and explained to him it was brother's friend who kicked it over there. At first I thought he'd give it back, but he slammed the door in my face - which means no giving back the ball. Later on that day, I saw his son playing with it from my bedroom window. The same day, I tried to get the ball back by leaning over the back garden fence, but he came up to me and he was furious. He said to me, "Anything that lands my garden now belongs to me, so you can say goodbye to your ball because you will NEVER be getting it back." I said to him that it's mandatory to give it me back because it's me that paid for it, but he told me to "f**k off" and stop acting like big brat. Is it compulsory for my neighbour to give me my ball back? Is it his property now and not mine? This all happened yesterday btw |

Question: Am I losing my sister to her boyfriend? Posted: 24 Jul 2016 12:59 AM PDT So I feel really left out latley like my sister and her boyfriend are always together. Like he practically lives at our house. He spends nights here and now she's moving out with him. She locks herself in her room with him, and the only time she comes out is to go out with him or when he's at work. Like yes she buys me stuff but then she expects that to make it all better somehow and then she goes right back to ignoring me. The last thing we did alone together was argue with each other. I want my sister back! Like we all went to the fair one day and I totally felt left out and exactly like a 3rd wheel. I was always in the back of them and a lot of the time they would stop to kiss and hug and talk about stuff and completely ignore me until we were going home. And then we rented a movie but while her boyfriend was gone all she talked about was him and how sweet he is and how cute. Then when he got back all she did was cuddle up to him and start making out with him again. Don't get me wrong I like her boyfriend but she's just different now. And I keep saying everything is okay but I can't hide it any longer they have been together for about 1 1/2. What do you think? Am I just over reacting or am I really losing my sister? We used to be so close but now we have grown apart so much. Tell me what to do. And I would talk to her but I don't wanna pressure her into anything. Help! |

Question: How should I respond to an insult? Posted: 24 Jul 2016 12:03 AM PDT This is a serious question. I constantly find that I can't defend myself very well when I am insulted. If I can, I would walk away from the situation, but often times I can't ignore or walk away from that person. What should I do? |
Question: I like my youth pastor, what should I do? Posted: 23 Jul 2016 10:48 PM PDT Me and my youth pastor are 13 years apart. Everyone thinks we are a couple even when we arent acting like it. When we go to events with other churches people from other churches always think were a couple. I like it that people think were a couple and I like him. |
Question: Does this woman's husband have problems? Posted: 23 Jul 2016 10:43 PM PDT I added this female co-worker of mine on Facebook. I asked her if she got my friend request. She said yes she did. She told me that her husband doesn't like it when she has men on her Facebook. Now shouldn't her husband realize that she has male friends and she has a right to have male friends on her Facebook? It is not like she is having an affair with her male friends. I know many married couples that have friends the opposite sex. Now I really think my co-worker's husband really has some issues. |
Question: You guys think she did this stuff because of me or something? Posted: 23 Jul 2016 09:44 PM PDT was walking with my friend to class & I saw the girl I like there & I was looking her but then I just looked away. But then later we pass by again at the hallway & i turn around to look at her but she hide behind her friend. Then later when she came to class I was looking at her & she caught me looking so I just looked away. Then when she went over to talk to her teacher & I was looking at her but she was looking straight ahead & then I stopped looking. Then later when i turn around I saw her at the back of the class & she was looking at me but then later she left class early? |

Posted: 23 Jul 2016 09:13 PM PDT Hi, I'm 18 soon to be 19 and I recently signed my name on a lease to move in with my significant other. My significant other pays the full rent and my mom pays him the other half whenever she can. However, she's not on the lease but because she pays, does she still have the right to keep me from going out with friends, or when I just would like to have some time for myself? Thank you. |
Question: Son and daughter slept together?!? Posted: 23 Jul 2016 09:00 PM PDT So my son just turned sixteen and my daughter is seventeen. They are usually doing different things during the day and normally not at home. But the other day I returned home from work early and heard sexual noises coming from my son's room. I decided to deal with it later because I understand he is a high schooler and these things happen. But then as I was walking away from the door I recognized the female voice. Horrified I flung the door open to find my son engaging in intercourse with his sister. I was terrified. I decided to adress them seperately, daughter then son, and they both told me that they wanted their first time to be with someone they know and trust. What do I do? |

Question: Feelings on adoption? Posted: 23 Jul 2016 07:25 PM PDT I'm 14 and a female. I was born in Russia but adopted at the age of 2 1/2. I have been thinking a lot about how I act around people and I'm wondering what to do. I've also made these bonds with people, usually my teachers who are in their 30s-40s. But I form these bonds with them, like mother and daughter. I don't know why because my mom that adopted me is great and I love her a lot. But I always end up making these relationships and end up losing contact with them because I leave the school or I do something weird that screws it all up. Right now, I really miss my former 7th grade teacher, I'm going into 9th grade this fall. But I don't know how to get over her. She gave me her number but I don't want to text her because she probably doesn't want me to bother her. But what the hell do I do? I don't want to talk to anyone about this. But I do like talking to her about my problems, I went to her with my problems instead of my mom. Keep in mind I've done this when I was younger too. Do I have a problem? A attatchment disorder? Please help and leave comments. |

Question: I accidently missed my shift at work.. how can i make up for it? Posted: 23 Jul 2016 06:25 PM PDT I am currently working a job and I am always on time and have never missed a shift before (for any job i've ever worked for that matter). I thought that I was working a closing shift today from 4:30-9:00 pm, but it turns out I was supposed to come in at 12:30-5... I wrote down the wrong time and when I realized I called in and talked to my manager. They ended up just extending someone's shift to cover mine and no one was mad at me, but I still feel terrible. No one was mad at me and they seemed okay with it, but I want to know what my next step is to resolving the problem. Obviously I will never miss another day of work because I am simply just humiliated. I also feel really bad because a manager told me the other day that I was doing great work and that she had big plans for teaching me new things and I feel like I just really let them down... I work tomorrow so I'm going to work hard and be focused and show that I'm accountable and hard working |

Question: Why Would He Do This? Please Help? Posted: 23 Jul 2016 01:49 PM PDT My ex and I have an odd, complex history. We were "official" I guess for about 2 months about 5 years ago. Then after we've more or less kept in contact. We had a thing, casual sex relationship after he broke up with an ex girlfriend he had gotten back with after we broke up and I haven't actually seen him since in person for about 3 years now. He had been texting me for two weeks or so briefly w silly insignificant things asking if I had snapchat. The other night very late, I wake up & I couldn't sleep so I responded to an earlier text he had sent me without thinking he'd get back to me. Then he replies & says he's drunk & wanted to talk to me so I did. We started venturing into sex talk & before I knew it we were actually planning to meet sometime for a casual fling again. I'm not in any relationship and I'm not looking for anything serious so I agreed. Then he asks me if I'm seeing anyone, I accidentally say yes and before I could correct myself he says he's seeing someone too, the same girl he's been with for a couple years now. I told him that I wasn't seeing anyone he knew I was upset. There was another time where he did this and I was clear I wouldn't see him if either of us were attached. The next morning he apologized said he was drunk and shouldn't have crossed the line although he really had a good time talking to me about that and that he wouldn't do that because he's committed. I just don't understand, he's done this sort of thing before. Why does he do this? |
