Okay so I have my dads wedding coming up and my dress is way too long even with my heels on. No I can't afford to take it to a tailor because everywhere charges way too much. I'm worried about using safety pins or sewing because I don't want to mess it up. I don't know just anything would be helpful that I can afford to do right now. Wedding is in a week

Yesterday I posted asking for advice on my bridesmaids situation. I guess I didn't clarify everything and ended up being told that I'm the problem. I still stand by what I said - they're horrible. When I first asked everyone to be a bridesmaids (9), they all agreed they would attend the engagement party, bridal shower, bachelorette party, rehearsal dinner, and (obvi) the wedding day. my mom was going to throw the shower along with MOH, but THEY OFFERED to help since the MOH is preggo. I did not ask, nor did the MOH - THEY offered.When time came around to collect the money ($30), only 2 had given the money. that left the MOH to cover the rest (she felt bad asking my mom and I was unaware). 5\9 showed up, 4 were crazy late! They even told the MOH they'd be there early to help set-up. -.- MOH booked everything for the bachelorette party- Only 3 gave the $. Groomsmen felt bad, and they decided to help pitch in on top of paying for the bachelor party. MOH asked if Any of them were willing to help with gift boxes. 3 said yes - none showed. my fiance stepped in and groomsmen came and helped. Biggest problem - The wedding is in 6 weeks and only 5 have their dresses! All I asked them was to show up to the parties, and get their dresses. And I'm the problem? I paid for their shoes, and I'm paying for their hair, makeup,AND nails.That's $1000 that I'm willing to put out for these girls, because I love them ): Idk what to do? So I m getting married in September. One of close aunts bought my fiancé and I our wedding rings. The ring she got me is exactly like my engagement ring. The diamond is just smaller. Well we showed my fiancé s mom and all she did was say how much she disliked it because it had a diamond and it s supposed to be a band not a ring with a diamond. Unfortunately that hurt my feelings; especially because my aunt chose and purchased them. I can t go and trade them for something else. Do you guys think it would really be ugly to have 2 of the same rings? Instead of one being a wedding band? Have in mind I chose my engagement ring and it s all simple with a diamond on top....

My hubby and I thought a candy themed wedding would be fun. We would scatter wrapped chocolates on the table, have a candy buffet, chocolate rose flower boquets, candy goody bags, and a candy themed torture chamber. We will make you step into a 7' x 2' chamber then have m and ms fill up the whole container. then we will throw the chamber around. Also you will be gagged with gumballs and beaten with lollipops.
