Question: My two best friends are always together? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 05:40 PM PDT Sorry if my english is bad but i'm in a small friends group, we are 4 girls who are all "best" friends. But through out the years our friendship has really faded (we've been together in school since we were 6 years old, and now we are 16) one of them let's call her A, she has been my best friend since we were 6 years old, my other best friend lets call her B, i've known her for like 5 years and the same with C (my other best friend). But lately its like A and B are always together and never invite me to come and be with them. It makes me sad, its like im not good enough or im just plain boring to them. Its been going on for like 3 years but it has been increasing, like i'm left alone, my other friend C thinks the same. A and B are always doing fun things together or just hanging out, but when i ask them if i can hang out with them their response is just "i dont know, we have nothing to do" which means no. They go camping together without letting me or C know, like we dont matter, like we dont know each other... and C is always with her family or working.. So i really have no friends, all of them mean so much to me, i love them so much. But... I feel like im worthless to them. I just wanted to ask your opinion on this situation, do you think it's just me or are they being shitty friends????? |

Question: Should I bother dating my gf anymore? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 05:35 PM PDT I've been with my girlfriend for 5 years. She have been distant from me for 11 months. Before she gotten distant, she told me she love me and she won't ever break up with me. I told her that I love her a lot too. During the first 5 months or so of her being distant, she only text me like once a month telling me that she loved me. the next 6 months, she just disappeared on me without telling me anything. 1. should I bother dating my gf anymore? Before her disappearance, she told me she still wants to date me. 2. If you were me, what would you do? 3. Should I confront my gf about her not making time for me at all? 4. If I show my unhappiness with the relationship, it will make my gf think it isn't worth it for me. If I never show my unhappiness even though I am unhappy and she is unwilling to change, would that be considered "settling for less"? I thought all this because we were suppose to have minimal expectation for others and we are not suppose to get mad if they don't reach our expectations. 5. Isn't this true though? like we are not suppose to have expectations for anyone or at least minimize the expectations for them. and "no matter what you do, I will not be disappointed" isn't this true love? |
Question: Question about my best friend's 21st birthday? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 05:31 PM PDT My best friend, never really cared for his birthday, he just wants to experience bar life for the first time with me and other Marine buddies. I know he is into comics, however I need your opinion. Besides just buying the first couple of rounds, will it be awkward to buy him a gift wrapped comic book while taking shots? I've never done this with a guy I considered a brother. I know this is a forward question but what do you think? |
Question: My parents fight a lot!? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 05:27 PM PDT My parents fight everyday and they fight everywhere. They scream at each other and say the will divorce. IF THEY DO THAT, I CAN'T CHOOSE WHO TO LIVE WITH I LOVE BOTH OF THEM DEARLY! I'm also afraid the neighbors will report on us for disturbance of the peace. My parents fight on serious subjects not simple things. They are so serious I don't even want to say them. I've tried to stop them, but it never works and they just tell me to go away. Advice PLEASE!!!!!!! THANKS! :) |
Question: I may see an old friend soon? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 05:20 PM PDT My friend since elementary school recently asked me to go out on a lunch date (we are both girls, more like a girls day). I haven't seen her in 4 years and we talk all of the time (texting), but I'm nervous that the car ride with her will be awkward and there won't be anything to talk about.. I can't say "so what's up" "how have you been?" because we talk almost everyday. I'm having major anxiety and nervousness right now because I kind of don't want to go, but she's so excited. HELP?!?!?! |
Question: Would you continue talking to this person? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 05:15 PM PDT I have a co-worker who was initially nice and became friends with, but started becoming a pushy like telling me what I should do. My co-worker has told my boss behind my back that I was depressed and suicidal and I have never said that to her. She says negative things about people who walk past the office where we work. She brags about her boyfriend and has bragged about her ex-boyfriend non-stop and she knows that I have never been in a relationship before. She also tells me about her relationship problems. I think she does this to make me jealous, which actually does make me jealous. For example, she tells me that her ex makes a lot of money and drives an Audi, which is an expensive car. She will tell me about her current boyfriend and will say that he takes her out to eat she tells me what he has bought her and how expensive it was, and how he is such a great cook, and she goes on and on (not a honey moon phase. she has been dating him for a long time and talked about him the day she met him.) For some reason when I talk about a guy I like she is either dismissive or gets annoyed and tells me if he was interested in me he would approach me. She has teased me about my appearance. Sometimes she gives me these looks as if I am strange or something, but she does not come out and say what her problem is. Would you continue to be friends with her or am I overacting and should just get over it? I asked before, but I would like more answers. |
Question: Did I say the right thing? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 05:11 PM PDT Well my friends went to a theme park today, and they discussed it on a chat of 20+ people. This chat is where they discuss potential days of going, and today isn't the only day they are going. And this is a "come if you want" kind of thing, and I couldn't make it, and I said, "wish I could make it, but ya'll have fun. I will join you guys way in the future in due time." How does the 2nd sentence sound? Does it sound like I am inviting myself over? Or does it sound like I am entitled? I wanted to let them know that I will join in the future. |
Question: How do I help my best friend? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 05:10 PM PDT My best friend lives in Kentucky, and I don't know how to help her get out of this suitation: She's getting groped by her seven year old brother, and her parents think he doesn't know what he's doing but he does. Her parents also yell at her and tons of stuff like that and he's the perfect child in her parents eyes, and I was wondering if there was a way she could get out of there and into a safer house without any evidence of this? She's suffering from depression (she also self harms) and she recovered from anorexia. I just don't know how to help her. |

Question: My friend might hate me, but I'm not sure? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 04:51 PM PDT I have a friend who I've shared some good times with. I've helped them out with their relationship and I've gone on fun trips with them. Recently they are reluctant to text me it seems and they're always busy. They said they went to sleep one time, but I found 1 hour later they were still up and were posting on instagram. They are also replacing me with me best friend while I watch and it hurts. I am really anxious and I usually say "I'm sorry if I'm bothering you" and she has usually said "oh no you're fine! Or "You're not bothering me" until today. Would you say they hate me? |
Question: How do I tell my friend that... I don't care? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 04:47 PM PDT We are both 19. We have always called each other our "best friend", and she comes to me about her problems or for advice every day. It's basically all she ever talks about with me, for advice or her issues. I had always given her advice whenever she had fights with her boyfriend, but she often decided not to take the advice and forgive her boyfriend anyways. She even complained about her friends (who I don't know personally, they live in her city) and tells me that they use her and are rude. But she ends up hanging out with them & calling them her best friends on social media. She does not seem to rant to her friends in her city, but she often tells me such little things that I ... don'tthink I should care about? She would anout 5 times a day, she would message me things like: ugh I cut my finger. Hmm I don't know if I should go to the mall or not. I am hungry. I don't know what show to watch on Netflix. " this is all we ever talk about now, and I've started replying to her messages late. |
Posted: 11 Jul 2016 04:45 PM PDT I'm family friends with this boy that I've known for most of my life. His just a few months older than me his 16 and I'm 15. So our parents hung out one day and I was dropped off and his place and everything was fine, nothing weird was happening. He then pulled me on his lap and started calling me cute and adorable, I was laughing it off and I was pushing him off trying to get off him cause I started to feel uncomfortable but nothing was working, he kept moving his hips while I was trying to move mine and it felt really weird he also had his lips right at my neck which I didn't like. I finally got off him and everything was fine after. Later that day we went to get food, and my head started to hurt and he came closer and tried to hug me but he just made things worse and I pushed him off and like yelled at him to stop he then told me I was being a b**** but I wasn't upset about that I didn't care that he called me a b*** and we were walking back to his house and I was infron t of him he hugged me from behind and I was laughing and then I told him to get off and he slid his hands down my body and grabbed my butt I told him to stop and he just laughed it off and walked inside. Am I overreacting? I don't think this is normal I have lots of guy friends and none of them touch me like that I don't know why he is. |
Question: How to help suicidal friend? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 04:45 PM PDT I have a friend in America, that I care about a lot, today when we were on skype his sleeve was rolled up a bit and I saw that he had really deep cuts in his arms, I've heard of that **** before and I knew right away he was doing it to himself. He's never seem depressed on all the times we've skyped but maybe I just wasn't noticing. It hurt to see, but I didn't confront him. I don't know how. How could I help him? I live in England and he's all the way in America. |
Question: How to make new friends in High School? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 04:37 PM PDT I'm going to start high school this year and I'm super nervous, mainly because my two best friends are going to separate schools. I want to make some new friends but I'm pretty shy, my older brother is telling me to try to make some friends with boys for different reasons and I guess that'd be cool. But I don't know what to say or how to make friends with them, can someone help me I really want to change my image this year. |
Question: How do I let my best friend know she's our best friend for sure? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 04:33 PM PDT I have a little bit of a problem. I travel in a group of three. Susan, Becky, and me. (Fake names BTW.) We're all best friends and we do everything together. Sometimes we can't and its just the two, and the third ones at home or busy. Susan and I are both the same age, so we have classes together which brings us even closer together. And Becky is one grade below us. The thing is she sees this as a problem and we don't. She thinks that since she's younger than us, we don't care about her as much as we are about each other and we do. We try and try and try to prove to her that the age doesn't matter for our friendship. We treat her exactly the same and everything. We were all hanging out recently and she got quite and stopped talking. Susan would say "BECKY! TALK!" Not in a rude way. I would say "Becky! Include yourself." And I even threw some water on her. She threw her water at me and then it was kinda like a game. But after that she was quite again... And when we went to the pool she ditched us for other people. And we tried to take her back and we went over to her and were like " what chu doing? Come on, let's go" and she wouldn't come so we left. At this point I don't know what to do?? My best friend thinks age matters in our friendship, when it doesn't! How do I prove this to her? |
Question: My friend drinks a lot and I'm worried about her? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 04:28 PM PDT I have a friend who's 17 like me and she's been drinking ever since she was 13. She parties almost every week and gets really drunk and I'm trying to help her stop and she always says it's her last time but it isn't. She hangs with her other friend group but they don't even care about her. They left her multiple times but recently they left her drunk on a beach filled with people on the Fourth of July after she asked them to wait for her. They are also extremely racist. She knows they're bad and have an influence on her to drink but she never stops being friends with them even after they've betrayed her so many times. She says it's just her being "loyal" but I don't know what to do anymore because I care for her and her health. |
Question: How to help Suicidal friend? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 04:28 PM PDT my friend harms his self, i dont know how i could help him considering he lives in America and i live in England and im scared he could die |
Question: What should I do to my friend who swears too much? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 04:28 PM PDT Every sentence that my friend says has at least 2 cuss words and it's driving me nuts that I feel like beating my friend up. I told her to stop and she told me to shut the **** up. |
Question: How do I get my friend to go to a concert with me? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 04:13 PM PDT My friend's mom is strict and said no the first time. Kissing up to her won't work, or guilt tripping her, so what do we do? I really want her to go, but her mom seems impossible to convince. She also won't allow me or my mom to talk to her mom because she might get in huge trouble. |
Question: How can I become more social? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 04:12 PM PDT Okay, so I have friends when I'm at school, and now that it's summer, I realized I never hang out with anybody. I sort of have an anxiety thing when I have to ask my parents about hanging out with people, it's like I have to act really mature around my parents and I can't seem to break that pattern around kids my age when my parents are around. There's nothing wrong with being mature, it just makes me seem boring. I'm 15 by the way. |
Question: Will he want to see me again? (10 points for best answer)? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 04:06 PM PDT I'm 29 and I met this older man online in 2014 he's 42 he and I met in person for the first time last year. He and I were intimate then. We both live in different states he lives in California and I live in Ohio last week I went back to see him. He and I were intimate again and we had fun together he took me McDonald's for breakfast and then to this nice park he wanted to buy me pizza but I told him I didn't want him to. Also he wanted to take me to the beach but it was way too hot outside. Then we went back to my hotel and we had Chinese food he spent the night with me for a couple of nights. He and I aren't in a long distance relationship I do enjoy going to see him. He said that he didn't want to be in a serious relationship and neither do I. I told him that I enjoyed spending time with him and he said he did too. And that I wanted to come back in December and he said ok. He asked me how much was I paying to take Uber to the airport I believe he wanted to drive me but I told him I didn't have to pay much. He and I are not in a long distance relationship. When I told him thanks for meeting me he said it was his pleasure. He said that he enjoyed it too and thanked me for not overwhelming him. At one point he said he didn't have anything to offer me. But I told him that I wasn't in a position to be in a serious relationship right now either. |
Question: Would you be upset by this? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 04:06 PM PDT I was out to eat with my friend. My favorite band is coming into town and I asked her if she would like to go to the concert. She said yes and we looked online for tickets but her loud friend came in and interrupted us. She butted into the conversation and invited jerself. I stopped looking for tickets and changed the subject. I ran into this loud girl yesterday and she bragged about how they are going to the concert without me and it's my fault because she knows I dont like her. Now, I will have to go alone or not at all. Do I have a right to be mad? |
Question: Am I crazy for riding 84 roller coasters last Saturday at Six Flags Over Georgia? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 03:56 PM PDT Last Saturday I went to Six Flags Over Georgia and purchased a platinum flash pass for $105 which allows you to skip to the front of the line and then ride twice on a ride before getting off. The riding twice certainly made some people angry because they would have to wait for another train, but oh well I paid for the platinum flash pass. Anyways, I also rode Goliath 40 times that day. Am I crazy? |
Question: I'm 14, and not allowed to do anything!? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 03:53 PM PDT I'm 14 years old, (turned 14 in april.) and I can't do ANYTHING. Here are some things I can't do. • Dance or do gymnastics in or outside the house. • Go outside. • Go play in the snow outside. • Ride my bike. • Walk up the street. • Walk down the street • Walk to the store on the corner. • Sleepover at my friend's house. • Get my eyebrows arched • Go jump rope outside. • Go sit on the steps. • Watch my favorite show downstairs. • Stay home alone. Not even for 30 minutes. • Walk home. • Take the bus home. • Have candles in my room • Say freaking, crap, etc. • Wear shorts. • Get extensions. • Get my toes done in the winter, spring, or fall. • Go ANYWHERE without my parents. • Switch schools (even though I'm getting bullied.) I can't think of anything else. Do you agree with my parents? |
Posted: 11 Jul 2016 03:32 PM PDT This guy broke my heart and hurt me, telling him everything after six years. Also he went and told people what happened between us.I lost a friend and she left me out of a party because of him.I attended anyway, why should I be left out? Mind you, this was after three months after the argument happened, & he told ME to move on....I don't know if I hurt him in the argument by calling him the worst person ever and hoping the same thing happens to him but he wasn't really taking my feelings seriously&trying to steer away from it.when I was there,he was hugging a girl in front of me,&bitching about me to people.I acted as myself, cos i know he wanted to hurt me..why do that for? Another thing I found a weird was the fact that he would be nearby everywhere I went.we didn't go out whatsoever so I don't know what was about. It's weird cos we didn't go out with each other. He STILL has my sister on instagram which doesnt make any sense since we cut off all contact with each other. That friend that i lost cos of him, was acting like a TOTAL ***** at the party, she would purposely ignore me and when i talked to her, she said she didnt want to invite me and the only reason she did it was cos of my friends. How ******* RUDE?! Here's the weirdest part...it was my birthday a few months ago and my friends put up a post on fb with photos of us in a restaurent, celebrating my birthday and she LIKED the post which was about ME. I dont understand why she would do that. I'm trying to move on, which is what he said to me...but he's acting this way...i dont get it. Im really trying to move on but he keeps acting this way towards me I'm trying to be civil here, with him and the others...I'm not friends with her anymore but they are still associated with my other friends which are whom very close to me. is he hurt by me ? doe that mean that i had a huge impact on him and he really cared about me in some way? I realize that going to the party was a mistake, but the thing is that me and the friend was really good friends until me and him had a argument, i found it unfair |
Question: How to know if someone is being rude or just honest? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 03:23 PM PDT If someone gets upset because someone ignored them, the person then isolates themselves from society is this being rude or what? |
Question: Should I confess to her? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 03:20 PM PDT There is this girl that really liked me.. She gave me a chance some months ago and I blew it..At that time, I only wanted to be friends, but I could tell that she loved me.. After she realized that I wanted only friends, I started falling for her after talking to her and was maybe in love with her.. I did not express my love for her, I only asked her if we can be more than friends.. She said no..I tried, but it didn't work.. It even came to a point where she wanted to kiss me but until this day, I didn't..She has now confirmed that we can be friends only. She Is a person who will text her feelings, but she wont say.. She would use wattsapp and stuff. After I asked her if we can be more than friends, this was what she had for her DP.. "You should be ashamed of yourself, I gave you my heart, and you played with it!" I believe she was talking to me. She told me shes not ready because she got heart heart broken a few times.. It seems like she was coming around, but something happened again that derail our friendship...( We were talking and saw a guy coming and she said, "I have to confess my feelings to that guy, I have to let him know how I feel", I got pissed off and told her some indecent language... Now that its obvious that it wont work, should I confess to her...?I would like to hear the opinion of others if I should tell her how I felt about her..I wont be biased, she tried really hard to be with me... |
Question: Should I ditch my unsupportive friend? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 02:59 PM PDT I have a friend who is very emotionally unstable and greatly depends on constant reassurance from people. I'm one of the only ones that helps him with this; I realize he has an issue and I want to try to help reassure him that he has friends and people that care about him. I'm really coddling him almost daily, but I really don't mind. I was having a really bad day the other day and really could've used someone to help me. I mentioned it to this friend and his response was that he already made plans with other friends so he couldn't come to visit me. this really hurt because I very rarely have days like that and also because I'm always there for him. I approached him about my problem, but he keeps turning it onto how upset he is over this situation. what do I do? do I forgive and forget? or do I just cut out things like supporting him and just be there for him to talk about positive things? or completely cut him out? I'm at a loss. |
Question: It is ok to have friends older than me? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 02:58 PM PDT Is it normal to have friends older than me? I'm 16 y.o boy, i have older friends their ages between 21-23, i do have friends my age, but sometimes i prefer to talk to older friends, they understand me, is that bad? |
Question: Why don't my friend text back? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 02:50 PM PDT I have a friend who I've met for 6 months and he's helped me on lots of stuff. He's very nice too. But when he graduated, he ignored every text message I send, including "Hi how are you?". Why? He reads them but never responds. I feel disrespected and insulted, but I am unsure why. And he doesn't remove me from friends on fb and doesn't block me; he just reads them but never responds. I did not send inappropriate text messages by the way. It is something that bothers me so much because I cannot find an answer to it. |
Question: Why can't I just be happy? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 02:41 PM PDT I'm 15 y/o and I can't seem to be happy... I can't. Lately my life has crashed., my dad is losing his job,my mom had a miscarriage, my 15 birthday trip was canceled and non of my friends are in town so I'm alone .... This summer has been so bad.. There's not a day I don't cry. I hate seeing people having fun, travel, have a good time, etc., because I'm just here stuck in my house bored and alone . It makes me sad that I'm only 15 once... And this is how I'm going to spend my year... Sad and depressed, because I know deep down that nothing will get better, that we are always going to be struggling financially and people are always going to be doing better . |

For some reason when I talk about a guy I like she is either dismissive or gets annoyed and tells me if he was interested in me he would approach me. She has teased me about my appearance. Sometimes she gives me these looks as if I am strange or something, but she does not come out and say what her problem is. Would you continue to be friends with her or am I overacting and should just get over it? |
Question: What does this mean? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 02:32 PM PDT If someone like a friend I attended high school with were to come up to me and hug me and say, "I love you, Jonathan." but then I pull away, shake myself loose, turn away, start crying really hard, shake my head, and yell, "Stop saying that!" |
Question: Im sure my friend's in love with me but he denies it? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 02:26 PM PDT Ive been friends with this guy for about 4 months. He tells me how much he loves me and misses me all the time and then he makes me say it back or he'll act all sad. But he also says that its only in a friend way even though its obviously not. I think he doesnt want to admit it to himself but it's so obvious. He tells me almost every day that i mean the most to him and hses always worrying that i love my other friends more than him so he always makes me compare my friendships with other people to ours . this is gettig really annoying but i cant tell him because he would be all depressed and everything and i dont want that. I dont like him that way and i really dont know what to do |
Posted: 11 Jul 2016 02:22 PM PDT Ok so at my old school, I never had friends until this popular girl "discovered" me because i was really funny. i wasn't pretty though at the time i thought it was. really i got so used to being popular and liked that when i moved, i just expected me to revert to that girl again i made friends that treated me like ****, pointing out my thin hair and big nose and stuff like that. and i didn't become popular. its's not about the popularity to me, it's more about having a group of friends that appreciate you and you feel like you're a part of something. i now know that i'm not pretty. smart, or talented at literally anything. i have no hobbies or interest besides scrutinizing myself in the mirror and burying myself in a TV show to binge watch so i can focus on everyone's problems but mine. i don't know what to do |
Question: How do you make your parents let you attend a sleepover? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 02:21 PM PDT My parents refuse to let me go to any sleepovers. I'm the only kid in my school who has never had or been to one, and whenever a kid asks if I can come to one its super embarrassing to day I can't because my parents wont let me. My parents don't let me go to other kids houses, or kids go to our houses, unless my mom has spoken to their parents, gotten their numbers, know what they are allergic to, etc. etc. and tons of info. It takes mulitple MONTHS just to plan a friend to come and hang out for an hour. My mom is so crazily over protective, so the only way for me to socialize outside of school is online. And then my mom hates it when I talk to people online or stay on the computer all the time! Its like she never considers I get lonely. And then this upcoming year I'm doing ONLINE SCHOOL. So how on Earth will I actually get to interact and talk with real people? |
Question: How do I keep this conversation going? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 02:07 PM PDT Okay so, I'm talking to someone online that I've never talked to before and things are a bit awkward, because I'm not really sure how to respond. Here's the conversation so far: Heyo Hayy What's up? Whatchin youtube hby? Same. |

Question: Fake friend and I don't know what to do? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 01:55 PM PDT Right so there's this girl and she's being a real ***** at the moment but is playing the victim to the rest of my friends couse it's only me she's fallen out with, what she does is she falls out with us over the most stupid of things and then ignores us for like 3 days and then one day comes back to us saying how she's sorry and that she want to be best friends again ( she's done this like 4 times now) and everyone forgives her except me, because I just don't feel like I can trust her as this keeps happening, and I don't think that this is how friendship should work. I try to be civil with her but she just keeps bringing up past things that iv said and she pretends that I'm the one being meant to her when really it's the other way round and I feel like she's trying to turn my friends against me. I don't know what to do because I'm just trying to look out for my friends but they don't seem to understand. Please help xx |
Posted: 11 Jul 2016 01:53 PM PDT Tell me he isn't full of sht. He just stopped replying to my texts. The. I see him posting stuff in ig and lining other girls pics. Then I text him what's up. He goes right into apology mode, saying "sorry I was tired and my moms aunt passed away so I just took the day to myself. I was in a bad mood and stopped texting because I just closed off." BUT, not closed off enough to like girls pics on IG and then post two of his own in the morning and still didn't text me back. So I called him out on it and he called me crazy lol. Why does it make me crazy that I realize he's full of it? Waterdragon - you got that right! Only thing is that I don't think a man like this is interested in anyone romantically. Extremely shallow and fake and if his heart was truly in the right place, he would have made an effort to comfort me and make a choIce to keep it real and not call me crazy. Anonymous - you are so correct. NARCISISM INDEED!! The damn planet is flooded with these losers!! |
Question: I want to have sex with my best friend? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 01:48 PM PDT Im a 16 year old male and I have a female (16 year old) best friend, I really want to have sex with her but I dont know how to handle it, anybody that can help? Tnx |
Question: How do I tell my best friend that some things are just none of her business? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 01:28 PM PDT I admit I have made my share of mistakes in this situation. A few years ago I was injured and couldn't work for nearly a year. Since I rent my house from my elderly parents, they told me not to bother paying rent until I'm working again. Once I was I tried paying rent again and they told me not to bother since I do most of their driving and help them a lot. When my BF asked me how I'm managing I made the mistake of telling her. Now every time something at my house happens she asks who paid for it. For example I needed a new garage door recently and she asked how much it was and who paid for it. I keep telling her these things because I don't know how to politely tell her it's none of her business. She's kind of sensitive. I should tell you I admire her because she came from wealthy family, married wealthy then divorced and works 2 jobs to keep her head above water. But this is just embarrassing and must stop. I mean I admire her for working so hard to keep financially afloat, |
Question: How do you build a friendship with someone you lost without making it seem like begging? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 12:57 PM PDT I didn't exactly lost my friend but I feel like our friendship just faded away through out time! She just doesn't try to talk to me or anything and idk if I should do the same or actually try to talk to her! She never really hits me up for anything anymore |
Posted: 11 Jul 2016 12:30 PM PDT My friend was in a bed with her eyes closed, but still awake, and she heard three guys 'joking' about raping her, "we could rape her if we wanted, she's unconscious and wouldn't even know." Soon after that, they came closer and the three started unbuckling their pants, so my friend started hitting them and but one of them. I don't think they actually touched her, but could anything be done about this |

Question: Why do I have no friends? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 12:24 PM PDT I never say a bad word about anybody, I'm 19 years old and don't have a friend to ring me up and ask what am I up too this weekend, so I just work consistently. I have good values and morals, I'm realistic and honest. I believe that having ambitions and integrity is the strongest quality a person can have. I care about the unfortunate, poverty, world hunger, homeless, animal cruelty, the global issues, I'm too sensitive and insecure to atleast try get a friend because they will think I'm either 'gay' or a 'freak'. My parents died when I was little, and I have no brothers or sisters. I grew up in orphanages and went from family to family. I can't understand why it is simply too hard to obtain a social status in modern society. How hard is it to get a friend who understands you? |
Question: New flatmate is acting creepy? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 12:10 PM PDT Hiya, I moved into a flat 2 months ago. There are 5 of us, a couple and two other people. All really friendly but we don't see each other that often. Someone moved out last month and a new guy moved in. He seemed friendly at first always very chatty. He started peeing on the floor beside the toilet - it happened three or four times. I sent a text message to everyone saying we need to be careful, clean it up etc He texted me saying sorry must have been happening at night. He would leave his door open (which leads out into the hall, everyone walks past it to get to the bathroom or kitchen) and lies on his bed wearing only his underwear. He'd come in, take off his suit, lie like that for a while, then get dressed up to go back out. I've caught him standing outside my door listening in - I've opened my door (which is beside the bathroom) and he'd disappear into the bathroom. I get back to the flat very late, his door will be closed when I first come in, less than 30 seconds later it's open. Every single night. I was friendly to him when he first moved in but since all of this I've tried to keep my distance and not really say much to him. If I'm watching something, I'll hear the floorboards go from his room to the bathroom, (less than half a metre to my room) he'll listen for a while then go back to his room. I rarely see the other flatmates, my room isn't next to his so at least there is that. It's just too much, How would you all handle this? I'm sorry this is long. |

Question: Kid spit in my mouth? Maybe? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 11:47 AM PDT Ok to start off I have OCD and have experience with false memories. I'm just saying because this may be a false memory. I was at the pool yesterday with a good friend. A kid came to the pool that we both know. Let's call this kid Sam. Sam is one year younger than me. We use to be friends(I don't consider us friends anymore but maybe he does). Me and his brother got in a fight and maybe that's why he's an asswhole.(I can be an asswhole a lot too so I'm not judging.) But him and his friend were throwing football. Me and my friend stole the ball and started throwing it around. I then gave it back and held out my hand for a high five and he's like "f*ck you b*tch, go die" he then spits and then this sparks my question. If he did spit in my mouth it woulda had to go in clear and not hit anything because I didn't feel wet anywhere else(accept for the part where half of my body was in the pool). Is this just a false memory or did he actually spit in my mouth? I'm sure he did all the other things and spat but did it go in my mouth?? I'm just so not sure. Please help |
Question: Help! One of my close friends is hated by all of my other friends?! What should I do? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 11:46 AM PDT So I have a friend Alyssa who started karate at my dojo. We talk a lot, she's super sweet to me and overall a good friend. I've never really had a problem with her. I now consider her a good and close friend. The thing is most of their people from the dojo hate her. It's mainly because there are rumors going around that she had an affair with a teacher, Mr. Carter, who is 35 years old and married. Alyssa is only 19. Mr. Carter is highly respected at the dojo so People are blaming Alyssa and saying she is trying to break up the carter's marriage. Bottom line is I don't believe that that have slept together. I know they've gotten kinda close but that's it. There is no proof yet my friends ask me why I don't believe it. I tell them I like to see the best in people. They think I only refer to Alyssa but also mr. Carter. If the rumors are true, Alyssa would have fault and I'd see her differently but more importantly Carter is the one who'd be cheating and sort of taking advantage of a much younger vulnerable teenage girl. No one considers that though because they want to blame Alyssa. Anyway there is talk that the owner of the studio, Mr. Court is gonna kick Alyssa out of the studio. She has no idea about the rumors so my question is should I fill her in?? She has the right to know what people are saying so she can defend herself. The thing is if anyone finds out I told her everything I would be in a lot of trouble but I think it's the right thing to do. What should I do? |

Question: I'm having a midlife crisis at age 17? Posted: 11 Jul 2016 11:35 AM PDT Im 17 and my life hasnt been anything extrodinary. Instead of doing what normal kids my age do, I was too busy having multiple surgeries and taking care of my 7 brothers and sisters. Ive had multiple operations that have required me to sit around a lot. I would sometimes stay home for weeks upon end. I had no choice. When I was sitting around, I would be helping my mom raise my 7 brothers and sisters (whom I love very much). I've never stayed over a friends house, went to a high school party, went on a trip or a vacation, etc. I haven't done anything fun. I could die tomorrow and my life wouldn't be noteworthy. I've also spent a lot of my time studying trying to be the best student I can be. I can honestly say that my entire life, I have never had a best friend. My life has been very boring. I've become quite sad and depressed over this. I'm having a midlife crisis at age 17. Any advice? |
