Question: Father of my child and I argue sooo much...? Posted: 27 Jul 2016 09:51 PM PDT We are friends and we sleep together here and there. He takes care of his daughter and that's all I really care about. However, sometimes I catch feelings when he takes me out to eat, takes me to the movies with our daughter. Is that normal? He refuses to comitt to me because we argue sooo much over dumb stuff and stay mad for weeks at a time. It becomes an unhealthy cycle. He's 30 , I'm 28 and we get pretty imature when we argue. We are also very strong minded. I know it's up to me to stop giving in sleeping with a man who refuses to marry me due to arguments. We tried counseling and it did not work. We have a 2 year old daughter and he's so good with her. That's all that really matters. But then he comes on to me and I give in. He is single. Whata your experience ? |

Question: How do you deal with being single while all of your friends get engaged/married? Posted: 27 Jul 2016 09:28 PM PDT Hello all. I have never had a boyfriend or have been on a date and all of my friends are now in relationships. Many of them are either becoming engaged or married and now I'm getting left out of my friend group because my friends either want to go on group dates or plan weddings together. It's so frustrating because although I am nowhere near ready to get married, it would be nice to have a boyfriend.... especially since I'm so tired of filling the "single" card for the wedding invitations. Question: Is it bad that I see my sex/drug experiences as conquests? Posted: 27 Jul 2016 08:01 PM PDT Hi. I'm a 17 year old female. I'm not like a moron or anything. I'm smart. Top of the class. Good at making friends. I don't really care about relationships, but having sex gives me a high that's unbeatable. I've had 7 sexual partners. Eventually after that high i start to feel bad again. But you know. At least I have the high. This sounds stupid as ****, but I love drugs. I love snorting ****, mixing ****, smoking ****. I drove home high once. It gives me a high to not get caught. I mean I guess I sort of got caught once but whatever. I like smuggling stuff. It gives me a high to get away with it. It makes me feel great. |
Question: If a wife knows her husband is cheating on her, why doesn't she divorce him? Posted: 27 Jul 2016 07:53 PM PDT So my mom knows my dad is cheating on her and this has caused a lot of problems in my mom and dad's marriage. My dad tries to make himself look like he has not done anything wrong and makes my mom look delusional so that my brother and I will take his side. Little does he know is that I know my mom is not delusional and know that he is cheating on my mom. It pisses me off. Everything he gets his damn phone, I already see he is messaging other women and the fact that he cannot hide anything, makes him look more pathetic doing so. I get so mad and I even show my expressions to my dad and though I do not tell him why I am mad, he seems to ask the same stupid question, "Why are you mad?" He knows why I am mad but simply wants to hide his infidelity which is so obvious. This has severely strained my relationship with him as I cannot see him the same way anymore. That and so many other issues involved. I really want a divorce but I know my mom will not do it nor will my dad. So if someone knows that the other partner is cheating on them and their children also know, why stay? Won't it just cause problems in the future? "parents marriage" and "Everytime" **typos |
Question: How does child support work? Posted: 27 Jul 2016 07:48 PM PDT how does it work, and what happens when the guy doesm't pay for child support? |
Posted: 27 Jul 2016 07:38 PM PDT My relationship has been going downhill steadily, and has been since just before our wedding. He was so fun, active, kind and good hearted when we first met. Throughout the years, he has become terrible. He speaks very nasty to me now. He works alot and his only time off he ignores me and plays video games nonstop. If I ask him a simple question he screams the answer to me as if I had asked a million times. He snaps at me and gives rants as answers sometimes. I asked him once what his plan for the day was and he went off like .. " I will do whatever I want to do because I don t answer to anyone". All I did was ask a question. I am not mean back to him no matter how mean he is to me. I feel like he no longer wants to spend any time with me. He doesn t answer the phone when I call. He wont go anywhere with me. He doesnt want to do anything but play games. The day of our wedding he was very negative and didn t even tell me I was beautiful. It took us 2 weeks after our wedding to actually have the "wedding sex" and we haven t had sex since. I am at wits end here. I dont know what to do. I want to wait around and see if things get better but I also don t want to waste my young years on a grumpy man who doesn t even talk to me. But my family was so happy about us finally getting married and it makes me so sad to disappoint anyone. I ve suggested marriage counseling, but he says no. I have been crying every single night now for months. |
Question: My husband leaves for days at a time..? Posted: 27 Jul 2016 07:32 PM PDT What he does is, he will leave for days at a time just to hang out with his friends and drink and just do whatever. We have a 7 year old daughter. Right now our life is very stressful.. He got laid off, we don't have a house of our own (we live at my mothers), our car note is past due, and we have no money. I want to say that he's doing this because he's overwhelmed and stressed, but I don't know. He did it about a week or 2 ago, he left one day and ignored my phone calls ALL NIGHT. He was hanging out with his friends and drinking. This past time it happened (currently), I haven't even tried to contact him once. Before he left, he was TRYING to pick a fight with me.. It was SO weird. I'm just tired of it. He used to do it about a year ago, he'd leave and ignore my calls. So I left him. We got back together and this past year has been great, but now it's starting up again. I want to leave him... I don't know if I'm over exaggerating. It just makes me so unhappy.... My mom's car is in the shop, so our vehicle was the only vehicle we have here. My sister and her baby just flew in to move back to our state, and as soon as we got back he left... And I'm just embarrassed by it. I don't deserve it. Btw we're young. I'm 22 and he's 23. Advice? |
Posted: 27 Jul 2016 07:30 PM PDT I left estranged spouse because he was physically abusive and a cheater. We have been in a middle of a court battle. Posted: 27 Jul 2016 05:50 PM PDT The divorce was filed on March 1, 2016 and the summons were delivered to the spouse on March 10. The divorce packet was submitted to the court on 7/25/2016. There are no kids of the marriage and no community property is involved. The responding spouse has not responded and she does not want to contest the case at all. It is a very simple. When should I expect a decision? |
Question: Ex girlfriend is ruining my new girlfriend's life. Can she take her to court? Posted: 27 Jul 2016 05:22 PM PDT I broke up with my ex of 2 years because she's just mean spirited. She always try to get her way no matter what it takes. In high school and college, she sabotaged presentations of people she didn't like and bullied people who went against her will. She paid the price for some of her crimes (detention and threat of expulsion). However, I never thought she could do it to someone she barely knew. My new girlfriend is 6 years older than us and is very put together. Unfortunately, she added my ex on one of her social network accounts. My ex damaged her reputation by posting unflattering memes of my girlfriend. She also called her work and made fake complaints about her and ordered food under her name at her work. The only thing that saved her is the complaints don't coincide with her work hours as she work rotating shifts. As for the ordered food, she ended up paying for it. I want to get even but how can we? The only thing that's obvious are the nasty memes. |
Question: Coworkers told me their husbands have sex with prostitutes and it's not cheating? Posted: 27 Jul 2016 04:59 PM PDT I'm quite shocked as I'm an Asian woman myself. Some of my Asian coworkers want to convince me that a man can have sex with prostitutes as long as his heart belongs to you. Seriously? I told them I don't think that is the way it should work, and they look at me like I'm a selfish woman. What's the heck is going on? Luckily they don't speak my mother tongue language. The truth is it's not a business deal. Pleasure from sex leads to emotional attachment, thus is a form of cheating. Share your thoughts? I'm pretty sure the guy will look at his wife differently if the role is reversed. The women are all great women. I think their culture brainwashes them, maybe they live in a male dominated society where men make more money so men might feel superior than the women. I just realize that I have wasted time to answer a racist ignorant one on the internet. You're not welcome. Please leave. |

Question: Will I get half my husband's assets if I divorce him? Posted: 27 Jul 2016 04:25 PM PDT I've been living with my husband for the past 6 years and things aren't what they use to be. We've drifted our own ways and I no longer love him. I still respect him. He works very hard and has a professional career but I no longer desire to be with him. I'm now considering divorce and want to know my options. We don't have kids together (thank god) but will I still be entitled to his assets? Will I get to keep the house? I love my area and neighbors and can't imagine living anywhere else. |

Question: What to think about condoms found in my car? Posted: 27 Jul 2016 03:49 PM PDT I have 2 cars, hadn't driven one of them in months. Husband sometimes drives it to work. Decided to drive that car to work today. Apparently husband's been keeping my car a mess. While cleaning out the car, I found an opened package of condoms on the back seat, under a pile of shirts (husband's), water or soda bottles, debris, etc. As in, opened package of 3, with 2 left in it. We've never used condoms together, ever. No one else has driven that car to my knowledge or with my permission except our single mutual male friend, once, months ago. He drove it to pick up our kid. That means he drove it by himself on the way up, and drove it back with my kid in the car with him. No one else drove that car in months except my husband, unless my husband's been lending out my car without my permission. What to think and what to do? |

Posted: 27 Jul 2016 02:55 PM PDT His daughter lost her car keys at our house on the forth of July. We paid a locksmith to come to the house and make a key. It cost over $300. He wasn't upset, and in fact tried to make her feel better. Last week I misplaced my extra set of car keys, but I knew they were in the house. He exploded and lectured me as if I was 16. We have been married 27 yr, and it has been loving and supportive. Today he yelled at me for burning something on the grill. This is new behavior. Any suggestions why? |
Question: My husband wants to be intimate but I'm tired and we have kids? Posted: 27 Jul 2016 02:46 PM PDT I'm 27 and my husband is 30. I'm biracial and he's a typical white man I can't stand him. We have five young children and I have been with him a decade now. He's very dirty and makes stupid jokes all the time. He can just never do anything right except annoy me. Our youngest baby is 2 months old. I'm always tired and my husband works, after we put the kids to sleep I want to relax but he expects sex. I'm never in the mood and yet he wants it everyday. Isn't he selfish? I hate him. |

Posted: 27 Jul 2016 01:59 PM PDT So I'm in the early stages of divorce and I'm also a new mom to a 2 month old boy. I have not bonding as closely with my son partially because I hate his father and I'm anger with myself for not being more careful about having a kid with him when we had been having problems even before his conception. So now having to go through all the emotion and pain from the divorce has become so difficult to concentrate on being a mom, especially when I look at my son it reminds me of a big mistake and the hurt of my ex. Question: Married but crushing on another married woman? Is this normal? Posted: 27 Jul 2016 10:59 AM PDT I manage a gym so I see lots of beautiful women. One lady stands out way above the rest. She's really sweet and we just get along. I approach her more than I should and some of my colleagues take notice. When I don't see her, my day is not complete. I have a serious crush on her and it's been ongoing for a good 6 months. I even checked out her info in our database when she checks in. I know where she lives, how many kids, her husband and her birthday. She's only a year older than me. I know I'm going too far. How do I get over her? |

Question: A question for married men? Posted: 27 Jul 2016 10:04 AM PDT How often do you want to have sex a week, and how often are you hard in a week ? Also, what's your age ? I'm just wondering at around what time a man's sex drive goes down the toilet and he is no longer interested in sex. A long and healthy sexual relationship is important, but for how long does that last in a marriage ? How long did it last in your marriage ? |

Posted: 27 Jul 2016 09:42 AM PDT The only reason a person would get married if it were NOT for possession would be because of the religious ritual and having it "blessed by God". But if two people were NOT religious and still got married instead of choosing to love each other without that legal bond, then they are doing it out of possessiveness and having the ability to claim (with a wedding band) that they are YOURS and NO ONE ELSE CAN HAVE THEM. So, try to defend that one, Missy. I think it's pretty clear that people can love each other and live happily ever after without marriage. The only reason to get married is to have possession over the other person "for sickness and health, for richer or for poorer, until death do you two apart". In other words, you must take care of your possessions, no matter how sick, old, and poverty stricken they are. |
Question: Can I cheat and remain married for the kids and financial sake? Posted: 27 Jul 2016 09:20 AM PDT I have been married for almost 10 years. We have two kids. I am not financially ok being without him. He is emotionally abusive and we just don't click. I am staying for the kids sake currently and because I cant afford otherwise. The thought of a broken home sucks and although im not happy I pretend well enough for my husband and the kids to think we are. I started seeing someone almost a year ago. It is strictly sexual. We have pondered the idea of us together but he too has a child with a woman who hes on and off with. We built this on infidelity and know trust would be too big of an issue for a commitment between us. We said we were both ok staying in our current relationships and doing this until they were as old as 18! Crazy maybe but if we are both wanting to raise our kids with their biological parents why cant we see eachother on the side to fill the voids? One day I will get divorced but for now this seems like the best option. Am I wrong for thinking this way or could this be a new outlook for unhappy marriages that want to put kids first? |
Question: Why do you think this happened? Posted: 27 Jul 2016 08:57 AM PDT I have been really close with my friend for years. We talked at least once a week but it seemed to become less and less frequent after I got married. Once a week turned into once every six weeks, then once every six months. Out of nowhere yesterday I noticed she deleted me on Facebook. I know it sounds childish and silly but I m so hurt. I emailed her and asked her if I upset her or offended her in any way and she said "no you didn t. But I don t agree with the way you re living your life. You cheated on your husband with his friend while you were dating and you never told him. Then you tout on social media about how much you love him. I can t be friends with someone who is so two faced. Take care" I did NOT cheat on my husband while we were dating. He took me away for a weekend (we were just friends at this point) and I slept with his friend. Why is that HER business |
Posted: 27 Jul 2016 08:29 AM PDT I'd be lying to you if I told you that all I care about is looks. Looks are great for lust, but behaviors are great for marriage. No matter what I've said over the last 6 years, I get this and I know what I'm after - both. I'm honestly just buying time until my wife creates inner beauty and grows up a bit. when I met her, we were practically children. We got married as two adult children who had children of their own. I'm in the process of trying to mature and grow up, my wife is not and it might just be because she's not emotionally ready to (still immature and still wanting to be an adult child). But this got me wondering if I'm buying time for nothing... I'm trying to grow up and stop being an adult child, so I know it is FULLY POSSIBLE to stop being emotionally immature. It takes practice and self awareness. And quite a bit of patience. But it can be created... But I'm starting to wonder if she's never going to create it.... My mother and her mother didn't... They both never created their inner beauty and they both are still VERY ugly at an emotional level... Blaming others for their shortcomings, using emotions to get their way, and many other unkind and nasty things... So if Baby Boomer women didn't grow up, can I expect my wife to follow suit? If that's the case and she CAN'T create it, can you blame me for being shallow and settling with outer beauty? Because if she can't be gorgeous, there's nothing left to be attracted to and she'll forever be alone... LOL! I just took a break with my wife and when we were talking about people without Inner Beauty, I told her that I couldn't stand someone who was hateful, overly emotional, or constantly defensive looking for people insulting them or who see things that aren't there instead of listening to what is said and she agreed she doesn't like those kinds of people too. Secretly, I was describing her, and she admitted she doesn't like herself. It's funny, but sad. Is she even aware that she does this? |
Question: Why do people say they're going through a divorce but haven't filed the papers yet? Posted: 27 Jul 2016 08:22 AM PDT |
Posted: 27 Jul 2016 06:53 AM PDT If she looks like everyone else, and does nothing that draws my attention, can you honestly blame me for losing my interest? She told me that she has grown up to like guys with long hair. I grew my hair out. I keep it healthy looking and I put it in a pony every day. This has done NOTHING for her sexual appetite towards me. So either she doesn't know her sexual tastes and just wanted to change me OR she's afraid of pursuing me for sex out of fear of being called a whore or s|ut (mind over matter). I told her that I'm tired of brunettes and girls who do nothing with their looks. We live in a very frumpy, lazy city where all the women are "too busy" to look nice for their husbands, so they all look "natural" by having straight, shoulder length, uncolored brunette hair and no one wears makeup. And since this is the city wide standard, no one TRIES to go above the standard out of fear of being treated poorly for "making everyone look bad".... But that's the thing - if my wife wants to be average and fit in without catty woman behavior scolding her or scorning her for being MORE attractive than they are, then she's going to lose my attention. As a matter of fact, I would assume most horny men in my place would find a woman who WAS what they were looking for and divorced or had an affair by now. So my wife has a choice - accept potential social rejection or accept that she cannot sexually attract me. I wish she'd choose the former rather than the latter. Am I wrong for this? |
Question: I don't want an arranged marriage? Outcast? Posted: 27 Jul 2016 06:49 AM PDT All of my relatives have gotten arranged marriages. My parents, my older sister, my aunts and uncles, my cousins, even my distant relatives. I feel like an arranged marriage wouldn't be for me. I've never been attracted to men of my ethnicity, I don't think I could ever live a happy life with a man of my ethnicity, with someone my parents picked for me. I want to pick for myself, but I feel like I would get shunned by my whole family for 1) not getting an arranged marriage and 2) not marrying someone the same ethnicity as me. If I ever got an arranged marriage, I would be unhappy, but if I go a love marriage to someone of another race, I'd get judged by my whole family. I'm already judged enough for being me. I couldn't take all the hate, but if I did what they wanted me to (get an arranged marriage), it would be terrible. I've met one family who got a love marriage, and a mixed marriage, but they're not family or close. They're just family friends of a family friend. Anyway, I'm really stressed and scared. I don't know how my marriage is going to play out. Any commentary would be helpful. Thanks. |

Question: Should i get divorce ? Posted: 27 Jul 2016 05:01 AM PDT Hello and salam to everyone. I am 24 years old muslim female. I studied in a foriegn country. I met a guy from another country. However he liked me and we fell in love. W married. He has raised hand over me several times before and after marriage. But he alologizes and regrets. He has this problem since he was kid. Anyway we travelled to his neighbouring country. He started being angry and rude all the time. He has beat me few times and said it was my fault as i dont respond nicely. He yelled at me and insulted me inside the house aswell as outside. After thinking so much i informed my mother of what was happening. She told my younger brother and they booked me a ticket. However intold my husband that i am only going to visit my family.I came out of there. Now i am at my mom's place and she advised me to ask for divorce. I have tried talking to my husband about beating and anger issues. He said he will try to avoid it. And he wants me to come back. (P.s about my husband. He had history of cheating and hanging out with new girls every once in a while, before he knew me and he kept seeing his ex girlfriend after we were in relation before marriage. He also chatted with girls 10 days after our marriage. And when i caught him he said stop following me and respect me. He keep comparing me with his ex-girlfriend. He had aborted 2 babies from her before. On the other hand he told me he wanted to change. He read Quran and prayed sometimes in ramadan) Please advise me. |
Question: Husband wants to travel with the guys? Posted: 27 Jul 2016 04:22 AM PDT My husband of 6 months said "he's okay" with the idea of traveling with his friends and brother for a weekend. He didn't say he will or that he's planning to and he's never done it before (since we got married). I know where he's going, he has friends in the other country and it's a perfect escape place for people who live here cause it's hell... but the thing is I cannot stay without him and the idea is just a big no to me.. I know he's not there to mess around and that isn't something I'm worried about I just don't understand why would he need to do this. Thanks |
