I've been wanting to start dating again and I have been thinking about maybe approaching a girl after class or something on my bike (rolling up in a car would be kinda creepy) and maybe using some corny pickup line to get her to laugh, and then trying to get her number. I asked her out 2 weeks ago and said shes not sure because she just got out of relationship and i said thats understandable. Then friday we hungout, we talked about the dating thing again and said she doesnt see us long term because of culture clash. Shes indian and im south east asian. She also doesnt wanna be attached because due to her past experience, it didnt end up well so she doesnt wanma go through that during school. Shes attracted to me she says because of how i fit i am and she was surprised when i told her im attracted to her. She also told me shes a mess and i deserve way better than her. I made her elaborate on it and she got emotionaning it. Then she hugged me like pretty tight after the talk. I became distant after this talk and she now initiates most of communication. Plan to study with me, workout and she even asked for my class schedule to see when I'm free. I want to distance myself because what if she gets with another guy, that's gonna hurt but she usually hits me up now to hang or workout. So the past week we workedout once and hungout then lately ive been distancing myself since Friday. She hasnt texted me or snapped me. |

I was told "just have fun in college, don't worry so much, go out and do things with these guys" but I feel like I would be cheating. He would be heartbroken if I even mentioned "take a break" in our relationship. I don't want to lose someone I could have for life over 4 years worth of college guys, but I also feel like I will never feel sure of our relationship later down the road. What do I do? I just wanted to say that I have never had sex and have been waiting for marriage. It hurts me even more to see that people are telling me I am sinning and that I'm not a true Christian for this. Then as I was getting out of my truck out of nowhere a young man goes up to me and burstfully tells me how grateful, blessed & joyful he is being able to walk, run & ride a bicycle, my response to him was I don't want to be rude but I'm a really big hurry, then he tells me he wishes more people would feel blessed, grateful & happy in being able to walk, run & ride a bicycle, I felt so disrespected by the young man's comment that I yelled at him to please leave me alone, he then casually apologizes to me for bothering me and wishes me to have a nice day. I don't understand why he would be bursting with so much joy & happiness over being able to walk, run and ride a bicycle. Later this evening I saw that very same man post a comment to my friend's status on Facebook, I asked her her opinion of him, she told me he's a really nice guy, I told her about how he acted towards me, she looked at it as if she thought he was just spreading some love, joy & cheer around to this dark, gloomy world, I don't know why my friend thinks of him as a nice guy because I sure in hell don't. |

To make things worse though she said she was leaving for basic training for the Air Force and I wont be able to talk to her for 2 months. What I'm getting at is considering the long distance and her in the Air Force is this relationship worth it?
