I'm single guy, but I don't have too many friends. I have a friend who is married with a wife and they have a toddler. I'm close with all of them. Me and my guy best friend are super close. I thought he was falling for me because of stuff he's been saying lately. I kept thinking he was going to confess something but it never happened. So one of my pretty good friends is in a very close very tight friend group with two other people. Recently they got in a fight and she is all alone. Over winter break, she and a couple of her friends I don't like went to the mall and did a little "free shopping". They got caught and went to court. They have a lot of community service and fines, but I'm still worried. The other day she walked in to homeroom in a really good mood with one of her other friends, and she was a little slap happy. She was acting really weird, and when she sat down to me, I asked about it. She said she just got high (vape) in the bathroom(at school!) with the other friend. I only ever had 2 good friends in high school. One of them doesn't respond to my messages anymore and last time I hung out with that guy all we did was smoke weed and drive around town. Funny because that's the same thing he's been doing since high school and I'm 22 and he's 23. The other friend I have has a 2 year old kid now and lives with his gf. Alright so at lunch yesterday we were sitting in the cafeteria and I thought it'd be funny to take his homework and sit on it just to annoy him and stall for him to have to rush and finish it after lunch (we play around like this all the time, he normally isn't sensitive about it but I guess this is where it blew over). When I was 11 my mom decided that the town I had lived in forever had bad schools. So then we moved 30 minutes away, to a bigger town. Im in a hard situation. My best friend Jada has the house to herself this weekend (her parents are going to another state to visit family and we're juniors in highschool, and I took off of work to be able to stay over & am taking an extra shift next week.) She was gonna throw a big party, but decided not to because she'd be dead if her parents found out which they probably would, so she invited me and our other friend jess over instead. Jada has a car and her liscence, but in my state at the age of 17 you're only allowed one other person in the car. We wanted to do really fun stuff since no parents are home and we have the house to ourselves, but Jess is never really down to do anything crazy & spontaneous and we wouldnt be able to go anywhere since 3 people arent allowed in the car. Jada and I really want to have a fun night but Jess wouldnt be down and it would end up being boring. Plus for some reason Jadas mom likes me more and said yes to me sleeping over but thought it was shady for 2 people to sleepover (idk why). I went to college two hours away, and I wasn t really close to any of my friends in HS because I had health issues that no one understood. So i told her that i don't want to talk to her anymore. I don't know to explain for exactly why i get annoyed . What do you think , what would you do next ? I've been wanting to leave my group of friends for years now. We have nothing in common and no shared sense of humour so lunchtimes are spent in silence with everyone feeling miserable. They are all quite awkward though and don't have any other friends outside the group unlike me so they really don't want me to leave. I'm the only one that really starts conversations so it's like they need me. They always check where I am every lunch and break and go find me if I'm not with them and arrange stuff outside of school but keep rearranging so I can definitely come. I feel trapped! I don't wanna hurt their feelings cos they obviously like me and don't want me to leave. But I can't stand this misery anymore! The other group of friends I would like to join sits far away from us so it's hard to just casually wander over and I feel like my friends would confront me if I tried to leave.

This is the second time I've slept here at my bffs house, and the second time I woke up in the middle of the goddamn night with bites all up and down my arms and bugs scattering away from me! I've killed 2 in the past 5 minutes and i have at least 7 new bites yet she insists that she doesn't have them. I don't want to just say it bc last time I did she got upset but i cant continue to torture myself for weeks with bites just for a night with my best friend. What do I do?

So I ve liked this girl for a long time. My friends will say I ve liked her since kindergarten. We are now in grade 12 and I still haven t said anything about how I feel to her. Elementary school and middle school we were basically second best friends to each other. Then, in the summer between grade 8-9, someone emailed her and was creeping her out, and then used my name. Grade 9 came along and she didn t talk to me, or even look at me. I had no clue what happened and I blamed myself thing I did something. At the end of the year I was asked by her if it was me. That s when it all came out about what happened. She said we could be friends again and back to normal. It didn t happen and still hasn t really. We talk a bit, interact a bit. I miss her so much. But maybe it s a good thing? Since we aren t really friends anymore, I can try again and not be friend zoned (cause I probably was)? But graduation is coming up fast, and I still haven t said anything. It s hard to talk with her or interact with her because she is sporty and on the more popular side, and I m not sporty (unless you call types of sailing a sport ) and I m more on the not popular side. I ve talked to her a bit more and interacted a bit more, but I don t know when the right time is to do or say something. I m going to start complimenting her (cause I m wanting to with everyone). But we graduate very soon. And I know this is my last chance to say something. If I think about it, I even see a FUTURE with her.

Today she came to school with a few really bad bruises. The type you get when you get in a really nasty fight, but I asked around and everyone said she didn't get in a fight. I know she doesn't have a great relationship with her parents like me, but my parents don't tend to hit me. My friend wouldn't tell me how she got the bruises. which makes me even more concerned. What should i do. I'm afraid telling the office might make things worse between her parents. thank you for suggestions. this is the first time I have noticed\it has happened

Most of my "friends" I have seem to use me/push me to get what they want (such as wanting me to buy alcohol for them for a "party", and then saying they can't take me to this "party"). They seem to think of me as an asset, and only socially interact with me when they want something from me. Also, I feel "judged" whenever I'm sitting in my class talking to classmates, and feel like the person I'm talking to/people around me are listening and judging me. I can't seem to express myself as who I am, and come off as too nice/a pushover who wants to please everyone and, frankly, is a wimp. The thing is, whenever i'm drunk or taking adder all, I realize this, but when I'm not I don't seem to care and go with it, which makes me very unhappy in life. However, I can't seem to make ANY friends due to this situation when I'm not drunk/on meds. Also, the rare times people ask me to hang out, I politely decline in fear of ******* up or having nothing to say. I don't know what to do. Also, please don't say "Just be yourself" because that obviously hasn't worked for me, and won't with my current mindset. I'm also not depressed, I'm actually quite happy besides the fact I don't have any "real friends" or anyone I can text and just say whats up.

So I am a junior in high school so far my experience has not been pleasant and I decided this semester to take five classes online and two in school. My best friend has been acting weird ever since I decided to do this. She'll ask me how it's going and when I say it's going well she gets sad or like angry at me. It's almost like she wants me to say that it's going poorly. I have asked her numerous times if she wanted to have lunch or hang out after school or this weekend but she has she said that she's busy or that she has too much to do. I know that if she chose to do online school I won't be mad at her I would just ask her do you still want to hang out with me. does anyone have any idea why she so upset with me ? Thanks -E

Also,the woman,the evil woman that said that the $2,000 was a gift,but it's not,said that lori(my mom) buys gifts to sucker them u(her,her family,and the woman's friends and neighbors). how would you feel if your friend/ex-friend betrayed you? the daughter is almost 34 with an 2,not yet 3 year old son. the ex-friend once told my mom that they wanted to take her out for lunch. They took my mom's ex-friend out for her birthday,and they made her pay for their food,2.5 years ago. is that right? my mom is very sweet but felt betrayed when the ex-friend hanged out with them,and not her.
