Question: Dream about waking up in a haunted house.? Posted: 06 Feb 2017 01:43 PM PST My 17 year Old Daughter is out of control. She s had multiple sex encounters with different guys, Drugs, and she has even tried to poison myself and her twin bother. I m starting to think that she s a lost cause. Her behavior is causing family conflicts, disagreements and a lot of anger. Her violent Behavior is out of control, she only cares about herself and doesn t care to act this way in front of her 8 year old autistic brother. She s a very smart and nice person when things go her way, but as soon as they don t she wants to run away from home. She s been on a 72 hour Psychiatry hold before. She goes to school causing sorrow by saying that she gets mistreated at home that we treat her like a maid, she lies that her twin bother especially mistreats and god only knows what other lies she says. I m honestly Scare of my own daughter. I m now especially scared for my son s life because he has gotten disturbing text messages telling him that they will hurt him or kill him if he doesn t treat her right. My parent s and sisters say that I should understand her because she has gone over there and lying as well they believe her. So when I told my daughter what she did and that my own family has turn my back on me she started laughing. So my last attempt to save my family from having fights day in day out. I send her to live with my parents |

Question: I want to beat my mom? Posted: 06 Feb 2017 01:20 PM PST Currently in my life, my mom has been my worst enemy. She s become an evil, selfish, bitter ***** and a bully to me, all bc she s mad at the world by she had kids she can barely afford to raise by the wrong man. She gets unnecessarily furious over the smallest things, and will often accuse me of **** i don t even try to do. She ll accuse me of hating her (which she s not inaccurate about now), being "worse than my dad" even though he s done worse than I could ever do, and that I m a "psycho". I can tell this is her way of taking **** out on me, I don t know why it s just me, when she s had a stupid little round of bickering with my dad. With this I can also tell that she favors my sisters over me, especially my second youngest one, even though she s the worst sibling. She s unapologetically rude to her and is failing in 3 classes, whereas I try to be behaved and I m nowhere near failing.. Yet I get the short end of the stick. God, because of this I want nothing more to beat the living daylights out of my mom but I know it ll only land me in juvie, or regular jail IDK, so I m truly stuck on what to do. |

Question: Are independent if you live by yourself? Posted: 06 Feb 2017 12:50 PM PST I ask because I went out on a date with a guy I met online. We met about a week after we started talking. When we finally met, he asked me "you live by yourself" I said no, I live with my mom. He makes this weird face. From that point on, our date wasn't that great because I live with my mom. I do work. I work for the County that I live in. Pay for rent, food etc. I help my mom financially. So I didn't see what his issue was. Am I not considered independent? |
Posted: 06 Feb 2017 12:42 PM PST So I was in and out of school a lot changed careers etc etc student loans medical bills made every financial mistake I could in my youth now starts the big climb upward. Eventually I finished my BS and now I have my first salary job albeit a very entry level salary. I could see things improving down the road but in the mean time it's a long dark tunnel to the self sufficient financial light. Doing the math getting out of debt and saving for my own home could happen as late at 40. My parents are immigrants and they don't seem to mind yet. Back where they are from people live at home until marriage (God I hope my future wife has a loaded dad because that's another expense I'll never afford) But yeah how long is too long? I could see myself leaving if it becomes a deal breaker with women but then I'm afraid I'll never get my finances right. |
Question: I feel horrible when my parents are disappointed in me? Posted: 06 Feb 2017 12:38 PM PST I'm a teenager. We have a happy family in general, my parents love me and my siblings a lot and show it. But somehow every time I do something dumb and they're mad at me, I feel much more guilt than I'm supposed to. Just from the smallest things, like if I get a bad grade on a test or if I've not gone to sleep early and mom gets angry at me. My parents don't yell at me very often, my mom just always pulls this "I'm so disappointed in you"-face and talks in a different voice. Honestly I don't know why it's such a big deal, teens aren't always supposed to get along with their parents. I just feel like I'm too much trouble to them and a burden, even though they assure me that I'm not. I sometimes feel super bad for it. I have done some bad stuff in the past (shoplifting) during a bad phase in my life, but that was ages ago and we've all agreed that we're past that (that was a time when my parents were disappointed in me very often). Now I'm a well-behaved (well, compared to my friends) child. What is this caused by?? Is it bad to think this way? |
Posted: 06 Feb 2017 12:32 PM PST My 14 year old daughter told me she was suicidal. I figured if she were truly suicidal, she would just go ahead and commit suicide. I told her this. She seemed to snap out of it and appeared cheerful for about a week. Then one day my wife and I came home from a date and discovered my daughter hanged herself. This was about a month ago. |

Question: How many days could my Grandpa have left? Posted: 06 Feb 2017 11:50 AM PST For the past months, my family has noticed quiet a few differences going on with his health. My Grandma passed a little more than a year ago. Shortly after that happened he was brought into the nursing home for more reasons than one. A few days ago my uncle had noticed that liquid was coming out of his feet and his breathing was getting weaker. We live in a different state than my Grandpa and we really cannot go up there at this point to see him (before he dies). He does not get out of bed anymore even when my dad calls him. Do you think he is on the verge of dying? I am still recovering from when my Grandma died :( Thank you olderwiser100a. I was kind of hoping that maybe he was not going to die soon. |
Question: I hate going to my mother in laws house? Posted: 06 Feb 2017 10:57 AM PST I hate going to my mother in laws house and its because of multiple reasons. First of all she talks like i dont exist. For example we go there every monday to eat and she says things to her daughters like turn on the oven so the food gets warm in case (my husbands name) gets hungry. So he gets hungry only? Then she says things like oh son are YOU going to this. Implying like he's solo and doesnt have a wife right next to him. She one time offered him a cup of coffee and i literally was sitting right next to him. He immediately asked me if I wanted coffee and I said no thanks. I've tried to keep it cool but its starting to bother me and I dont know what to do. Ive talked to my husband about it and he says that she adores me. I honestly dont think that but i dont make a problem out of because i know its his mom. But i dont know how to deal with it? |
Question: How long do I let my kids beat me up over the divorce? Posted: 06 Feb 2017 09:24 AM PST Divorced question. How long should I be beaten up by my kids.. see details? Since I left their father 8 years ago? I left an abusive marriage. I left after they were grown. I raised them myself practically. Since the divorce, they have nothing to do with me. Tomorrow is my birthday as in every other year, comes and goes with nothing from my kids. When does the hurting stop? Each year for xmas and their birthday I send them gifts, $$$'s or whatever I can financially afford, with a light hearted card and tell them I love them. I get not even a thank you in return. I have called them to try to set up a meeting to discuss the issue at hand but they never have time to meet with me. They are over 30 now. And for those of you that want to judge.. no I did not leave their father for another man/woman or nothing except I thought it was time for me finally to enjoy my last chapter in life. Question: Is it wrong for parents to hit their children in front of company? Posted: 06 Feb 2017 09:16 AM PST When my cousin and I were seven years old, him, his [then] 13-year sister (they are half-siblings whose dads are not in their lives) and their mom came to visit for the weekend. In my mom's bedroom, I noticed him misbehaving, as he kept bothering and hitting his sister, who of course simply pushed/wrestled him off as she tried to be tolerant while telling him to stop. Their mom, who was in the bathroom, apparently heard the ruckus through the bathroom door, to which she softly hollered her son's name in a parental "you better behave yourself; I'm warning you" kind of tone. He wouldn't stop. Next thing ya know, out she came with her high heels (one on her foot and one in her hand). As soon as she entered my mom's room, her son (who was on the floor) backed away and flapped his arms out of fear, shouting "No, No" BEFORE she started swinging the shoe. Obviously, he knew what was coming just by seeing the shoe in her hand, as he has experienced this pain before. His mom struck him on his body about five times VERY hard. Then he just sat there Indian-style crying. My mom just looked at him shamefully. It was embarrassing and awkward for she and I. Honestly, I was kind of terrified of his mom because he misbehaved AND because she was very no-nonsense with him. So I feared seeing him get hit. Well, we are both 30 now, and he has four kids by four women, has been in and out of jail, and now wears an ankle monitor. Do you think his mother failed as a parent? |

Question: Best moderate resort at Disney? Posted: 06 Feb 2017 08:30 AM PST Our personal details/preferences: - myself, my husband, and our 6 year old attending - walking a bit is okay, but we don t wanting to be trekking a half mile to the pool after dinner as our 6 year old will already be tired from trekking through the park all day - CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN is a must; I do not do grungy bathtubs or dirty sheets or moldy smells. (I know, I sound like a b**ch right now, I m sorry) - fun amenities like pool, playground, splash pad, arcade....One FULL day of our trip will be spent at the resort only, no Disney parks - we re not picky eaters, and as long as there s grilled cheese and chicken tenders our son is good too. : P - I d prefer a calm, quiet atmosphere as much as possible. Coming back to our room is meant to be relaxing for us..... Not full of 3 year olds having mid-day meltdowns, or frat guys, or drunk 30-somethings. (I completely understand that we will encounter this wherever we go, but a resort that attracts lesser of these crowds is better for us...... We re a very calm, laid back, quiet family of three) We are going early to mid October. Thank you for any recommendations. |

Question: Do you think my 6 year old brother uses too much TV? Posted: 06 Feb 2017 08:03 AM PST Here is the schedule He turns on the TV in the morning and I don't get to watch TV because I go to school earlier than him. when he gets home he plays minecraft until dinnertime. when he goes to the bathroom he doesn't flush or wash his hands so he can get back to his game. and every time I open the toilet I see yellow pee, toilet paper, and poop. I almost vomit. at dinner, he refuses to eat and when he finally takes a bite he says he doesn't like it when sometimes he does and then he goes back to his game. my parents also let him do it. lately he has been skipping meals entirely to so he doesn't have to get off his xbox. he wakes up at 2 in the morning and turns on the TV and once ran into my parents room crying at 2 in the morning because he could find the roku. I will ask. does he watch too much TV and play too much video games I wouldn't have a problem with it if it didn't interfere with my life. but also, do you think my parents spoil him *couldn't* |

Question: What can I do to help? Posted: 06 Feb 2017 07:01 AM PST My parents are on the verge of divorcing because of my dad's mom, and it's not looking good. My grandma has treated my mom badly since the begining of their marriage ( of 19 years) and my mom has put up with it and has been very polite. My grandma has called my mom fat, ugly, dirty, a whore, and some other nasty things. She also spreads rumors about my mom saying she is dirty and that she doesn't know how to be a good wife, and has humiliated my mom infront of people countless times. The last time she was at our house was 8 years ago and she just came back and has been causing all sorts of problems in the house and she told everyone before coming to our house that she is trying to get my parents divorced. My dad however is very gullible and doesn't see how she is evil because she always acts innocent infront of him (however he has seen some of the tantrums and rude things she has done to my mom) but still believes my mom needs to be the better person and that his mom is not being that bad. The thing is my dad loves my mom but he also respects his mom (but it's too much and it's getting in the way of seeing the truth). And I feel terrible for my mom because the good things she has done for my grandma I wouldn't do for anyone to be honest, and although my mom has always been polite she keeps getting all this negativity from my grandma. I have 6 other siblings (the youngest age 3) and it's not fair for them to live apart from their parents and have their childhood ruined. |

Question: I missed my bus, which of these three options should I do? Posted: 06 Feb 2017 05:22 AM PST Slept in a bit, missed the bus, I m home alone right now, there are thre things to do -hide and stay quiet when my mom comes home for lunch break: my works close and comes home for an hour lunch break and usually doesn t check my room. I won t have to deal with telling the truth or lying, but this is extremely risky -fake sick: I could say I purposely stay home because I threw up. This would be a good excuse, but I would have to fake sick and I don t want my mom finding out I faked it -tell the truth: I wouldn t have to deal with lies, but last time I missed the bus my mom got SUPER pissed and I m scared to tell the truth I have three options and three hours, what do you guys think? |
Question: How to run away at 17 in Texas? Posted: 06 Feb 2017 05:21 AM PST I am adopted by my conservative, Christian, borderline abusive grandparents. I am a lesbian sixteen year old with a girlfriend who I dearly love... at this point, my parents are starting to suspect something about us, and I am deathly afraid that they are going to forbid us to ever see eachother... Not only that, but I have severe mental issues that my parents refuse to acknowledge because of the chance of them looking like bad parents. That is their words, not mine. Almost every day, I feel suicidal. How could I not, watching my parents hatred and bigotry and then calling themselves "Christians" and worrying that someday, they'll use their personal biases to punish me and try to make me different? Every person I have ever made friends with, my parents have taken away from me. I have no friends now, and my girlfriend and I are hanging by a string that my parents are holding the other end of. My parents tell me to suck it up any time I have problems at school or mentally, so I have stopped talking to them. I BEGGED to be homeschooled, because school is hell for me (bullying) but they told me that is the equivalent of dropping out and that I have to deal with it. I guess my question is, how can I get out of this hell? I'll be turning 17 in a few months... |

Posted: 06 Feb 2017 04:19 AM PST How do I get them to grow up and respect family instead of being disrespectful. They taught us to respect family so how can I get them to? We saw the game but couldn't enjoy it because my parents didn't take us to the family gathering and I am too young to go in the snow (I am 16). @Helen----It was because my mother holds grudges against her brother and didn't want to go to his house because she thinks his wife is mean. @Helen----So I was punished for her brother's choice in marriage |
Question: Would you be disgusted if this was your father? Posted: 06 Feb 2017 03:32 AM PST Let's say in the morning he hugs you and says good morning and hugs you. Than your mom smiles and they both cook breakfast together. He came back 6 hours later and you guys all cooked as a family. He kissed you goodnight and showed you how to make his moms famous cake recipe. Sometimes your dad stares at other women, looks nervous than bites his lip. When he knew your moms friend for two weeks he started getting visible bo*ners around her and kept biting his lip and sighing when he looked at her. You caught your dad watching po*rn. He says please don't tell your mom I just have to take care of this.. She comes over again and your dad gets another hard on. What would you do? |

Question: My dad shows no affection... Plz help this really hurts!? Posted: 06 Feb 2017 12:29 AM PST Im crying a lot right now, there might be a few miss spelled words because I cant see with tears in my eyes. The thought crossed my mind like a few days ago, and I cried myself to sleep that night. When I really think about it, Im pretty sure he has never said he loved me. He barely hugs me, ever... last time he did was just a side hug and it was 4 months ago. Sometimes, he playfully pushes me. We joke around a lot and always laugh! I talk to him daily, too! He seems so awkward towards showing affection to me and my sister, and my mom too! Idk if this effects it, but he's a casual person. Most people I know, their dad dresses formal. He wears just hoodie, jeans, and sneakers. I just need help on what to do... this hurts so bad and I wish he would atleast tell me he loves me once... ;-; Im only 11... He seems to have a close relationship with my sister, he does a lot for her. Me too, but usually its because he knows its unfair to get my sister something and get me nothing. Good thing he's fair, and we are close but not as close as I wish! Please.. idk what to do! I feel so bad about this... All he would do is be like "I always do!" He's just.. one of those people. We live in the same house, and I.. know him well enough to know what he would say. All he would do is be like "I always do!" He's just.. one of those people. We live in the same house, and I.. know him well enough to know what he would say. Im an 11 year old girl. To not be showed affection by a parent really hurts... :( Ofc its a big deal bc I have no one to be there for me either. |
Question: I hate my step father? Posted: 06 Feb 2017 12:21 AM PST Okay so, my mom has been with my step dad since I was 3 I'm 16 now. They had a kid who is now 11 and my step dad doesn't show love for my brother. He is really rude to him and yells at him for sleeping in his bed. My mom and my brother sleep on the couch in the living room because my step dad doesn't want them to sleep in "his" room. They refuse to sleep in my room because my mom is grossed out by my cat. Any way, so my mom bought an apartment at her name so this house is basically hers. She is paying $200 for this apartment because she has section 8. The reason she got it is because she was not earning enough at her job and other stuff. She signed the lease that me her and my brother were the only ones living here. It was a lie since she can't separate from my step dad so if the office finds out he is living here they will kick us out and my mom will have problems with the state. We are risking everything because of this man. He won't let my mom work and he takes away her savings yet HE is the one who works. My mom has ebt and he never buys us food instead eats our food. He has cheated on my mom more than 4 times and he blows all his check on the lovers he has in another country. He won't buy his own son shoes but buys his lovers kids everything and has the dignity to take away my moms savings money. Like I said he doesn't wanna pay for his childs medicine but he prefers to get himself botox. How do I convince mom to leave |

Question: How do you stop an overly helpful person without hurting their feelings? Posted: 05 Feb 2017 11:53 PM PST My sister is bipolar and she is very strong willed. Anything she believes to be right she will literally ram down your throat if she thinks what you are doing is wrong. Whenever my mother tries to cook food, my sister will sit in the kitchen and constantly tell her the way she is cooking is wrong, of course my mother has been cooking for a four person family for many years and has very much experience in the kitchen. Example: I was cooking french toast earlier (easy right) but I have never really done so. I was using a recipe I found online and was trying to follow it. I missed where you have to put the flour in first and mix the milk in slowly to prevent lumps of flour showing up on the cooked toast when saturating them. She tells me "you are supposed to put the milk in first and then mix in the flour" even though the recipe has some very high ratings and this simple mistake can not possibly be overlooked by every single review, yet she just said "It's just common knowledge. Everyone knows that's how you are supposed to do it". Common knowledge? I got angry that she kept trying to help, as I just wanted to do it myself, but she sort of just inserts herself and her ideas into situations. She is not always right, but if you ever call her on it (as I did) she goes beserk! I do not know how to deal with someone like this. Not just for me, but my mom as well. The constant "you're doing it wrong" can be very irksome. Anyone know a solution? I feel like some of you who are answering don't understand what I meant with the whole "without hurting their feelings" bit. It is not easy to get someone who always thinks they are right and are just trying to help to let them know whether they are wrong or you just don't care if they are right or wrong. For instance, if my mom tries to kick her out of the kitchen she goes off the deep end and will start throwing a hissy fit and start screaming. So the choices: deal or get angry. What else?? |
Question: How to deal with my sister as a roommate? Posted: 05 Feb 2017 11:42 PM PST I have my own apartment and it is a one bedroom. My sister sleeps on my couch, and I don't charge her rent because I want her to save money for her own place. I love my sister dearly, but there is no privacy. She works during the day and I work nights. She has brought over her boyfriend a few times without telling me and I feel like I'm the one that has to leave. She says she is moving in with him soon, but she has only known him for a month. She came home from work tonight, and I am usually up all night because of my work schedule. I told her that I would be up all night, and she told me that she needed to go to bed. I asked her if she wanted to sleep in my room, but she said no. She could tell I was frustrated. I could hear her on the phone with my mom, saying that I can't wait for her to move out. But I don't want her to rush out thinking that she is unwelcome. It is just the lack of privacy. I would get a two bedroom apartment, but this is all I can afford for the time being. I did apologize to her about my frustrations and that it isn't her fault or mine, just the lack of privacy. Some people have told me that I should kick her out, but she is my sister and I feel responsible for her, even though we are so different. Am I in the wrong? Any helpful advice is greatly appreciated. |

Question: There's a guy who likes me but he has a child with my cousin... What should I do? Posted: 05 Feb 2017 11:19 PM PST She and I are not close cousins. I don't even know how we are related but we are. When I see her out in public we both speak to one another and I can't imagine how awkward it would be if she was to see me and her child's father out together. What do I do? Is it bad? He and her are not together anymore and haven't been for years. |
Posted: 05 Feb 2017 10:50 PM PST So I've been so horny that I cummed in the pie that my brother bought six times. I left it out and and my brother in college came home from school and wanted pie and ate it all, not in one sitting but in time. I asked him how it tasted, and he said it tasted really good but the center of it was gooey and hint of a salty flavor too it, which he said gave it a good flavor. He pretty swallowed all my ***. What should I do? What will happen to him? |

Question: Who's fault is it for being a struggling single mother? Posted: 05 Feb 2017 09:36 PM PST My mom is a idiot. She married a **** boy. Decided to have two kids with the **** boy. And now it's 2017 and she's divorced, in debt, broke, and now she's constantly bringing numerous men into her household preforming intercourse while her children are in the room next to her's. That's just a small summary. I'm the oldest and my 33 year old cousin keeps bothering me telling me that I'm selfish for not wanting to help my mother. I didn't put her in the situation she's in now. I didn't ask to be born, if you get my drift. I didn't act like I was in love with a guy who hits me for 15 years, constantly argues with his girlfriend/wife, no job, etc. Not my fault that she wouldn't listen to reason. And I'm not the only one who thinks my mother has problems. But just a quick reminder. Who's fault is it? Clearly not mine. |

Posted: 05 Feb 2017 09:08 PM PST So, my relationship with my father has been strained bc of a few things. He owns a house where he lets my bully cousin and his gf who bullies me stay there and I told him a million times I didn't like it and that they were bullying me. It's been 5 years and he hasn't done **** about it, so I had to move out and live with another family member. He doesn't call me as much and when he does, it's related to money issues. I feel more alone than ever and I'm lusting after an older man his age who is not a good choice for me. |
Question: My Lil' Sister's friend is weird af? Posted: 05 Feb 2017 08:56 PM PST Dude. My little sisters friend came over last night, and she was so freaking weird. I need help figuring out what in the hell is wrong with her. So. My sister is 11. Her friend is probably the same. So, the kid would go into our bathroom, take a ****, and ******* put the toilet paper in the garbage can (which isn't weird, I know some people do that) but she would get it all over the ****** garbage can, and she did this literally every ****** time and my mom would have to clean it up, AND when she would come out of the bathroom, she would give you the biggest, oddest, ******* grin. The next morning she did it again, but left pieces of **** on the damn floor, and again, mom cleaned it up. She also would stay around the family a lot and not my sister. (My sister is just chill basically so idk why she would say no). She also gave my mom a hug last night and the morning saying, "youre my second mom", my mom doesn't even ******* know her, this is the first time she has been over dude. Lastly, she randomly came in my room while I was playin COD and said she was checking on me, pet my dog, and left. What the hell. I mean. I UNDERSTAND if you have anxiety or are just awkward but damn.. |

Question: Do you guys have jerk relatives? Posted: 05 Feb 2017 08:14 PM PST I have this distant aunt and uncle who are assholes. Whenever they come to my place or we go for a family get together somewhere, they make it a point to make fun of me with their son. They make fun of my nose, my voice, and any other **** they can find.. So do you have someone like this? What do you do? |
Question: Why does my mom beat me up? How do I make It stop? Posted: 05 Feb 2017 07:48 PM PST Well, it's not the first time this has happened but this time was the worst. I usually defend myself but this time I was too scared. Basically how it started was that she told me to change into my school clothes and both my mom and my sister were in my room. So I told her that I was going to wait until they left (exact wording: Mom, can I wait until you both leave, please? Tone: soft) So she's like NO and raced to my bed, held my head back and started punching me. It basically turned out that my mouth, nose, and both ears were all bleeding and in pain. I'm only 12 and sometimes I go to school crying because of this. How do I make it stop??? The thing is that I am in one of the best schools in Texas and my mom pays, so I don't want to get any legal matters in. (P.S. my mom is divorced from my dad and haven't seen or heard about him in 10 years, I doubt he's coming back). |
Question: How to kindly handle a mother-in-law who doesn't treat your own mother well? Posted: 05 Feb 2017 06:53 PM PST Here it goes. I've always believed my MIL was a nice person. We got along before my husband and I started dating (We were in the same church group). She became jealous and was passive aggressive for months while we were dating. She later apologized before the wedding and admitted her jealousy, and said she was used to being the one going places with him, etc. Things were somewhat better, but the thing that has always bothered me was the fact that she always reacted a little coldly to my mom; that's not really changed. The first time the family got together was when we just started dating. She truly looked miserable as my mom tried having a conversation with her. She made no effort back. After my first baby shower, she told my husband that a guest at the baby shower told her that my mom had mentioned to them how my brother had tripped in his walker as a baby. The guest then told my MIL that maybe my mom shouldn't take care of the baby once it's born, etc. She told my husband in a "concerned " tone. To cut the story short, she often gives dirty looks, finds an excuse not to sit next to her, and makes faces when in public and my mom is talking. I'm pretty sick of it. MIL is nice to me, but it almost doesn't matter. I feel like I don't want to get too close to her for that reason. How to handle this respectfully? |

Question: My parents force me to watch my niece? Posted: 05 Feb 2017 06:03 PM PST I'm a 15 year old guy and I have a 1 year old niece who will be 2 in a few months. My sister had her at 16, she will be 18 next month. Whenever my friends or girlfriend comes over, my parents always make my niece sit in my room with us. This is BS because then I'm not allowed to curse or play violent video games. I also can't have some time alone with my gf. This is BS that my parents do this while my sister has the luxury to spend time alone with her boyfriend (he's not my niece's father, the real father gets her most weekends) or spend time with her friends. I can't believe that her own mother doesn't have to watch her, but the uncle does. I do love my niece, but that's pretty stupid that my parents do that. They can't force me to watch another human being, that's not even mine for that matter. I should choose when to watch my niece, or else it defeats the purpose of doing it out of the kindness of my heart. I've asked my parents to stop, but they don't. How can I talk to them about it? |

Question: What should I reply when my mom sends me heart and kiss emojis? (read description)? Posted: 05 Feb 2017 05:44 PM PST Hey, I'm a 17 y/o guy. I haven't felt close to my mom (and my dad, due to their separation and them blaming it on me, but anyways, just explainging in case there are people that say I'm a piece of sh*t for not being close to my mom). So, not being very close to my mom, I don't know how to reply to her when she sends me hearts and kiss emojis. There's no words, just emojis. She gets easily offended so I feel like I'm "obligated" to send her the same, but at the same time, I don't feel like it's right to force myself to like/ love someone. Please, I'm not asking to get insulted or critized for not being close to my parents (Idk if this changes something, but I'm adopted, fyi). I'm just asking for advice? Or something like that. Thank you |
