Question: I really need help with this please answer? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 05:59 PM PDT Okay so back in 2013 my friend came and spent the night with me and I'm a girl and she's also a girl and we're both in our 20's and so when she was at my house her ex boyfriend called her on her cellphone and she started talking to him while she was supposed to be visiting with me and she just kept talking to me and I got really mad. When she got off the phone I yelled at her because I was just very mad and upset so then she called her sister and told her I was ignoring her and got her involved and her sister wanted to talk to me and she why was I ignoring my friend and I tried to explain to her what happened and she basically said it wasn't my friend's fault that her ex boyfriend called her and she just stayed on the phone with him and so since then my friend has never wanted to spend the night at my house again and I told her I was sorry and that I've changed for the better and she said good and she said she forgave me for what I did but she still doesn't want to spend the night at my house ever again so did she really forgive me? And I'm still having a hard time forgiving myself. Even though it's been a while ago since that happened. |
Question: I'm in love with my best friend but don't know what to do? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 05:59 PM PDT I'm usually a shy person , we were just friends two years ago, then things happened and we became best friends, we used to talk everyday, she's the only person who i can tell everything without hesitating, then i started getting attached to her ... a day can't pass without thinking about her, and i get jealous every time she talks to a guy or even her other best friends, i don't know if i should tell her because i don't want to risk our friendship, i could never find someone like her, sometimes i like to think that she likes me too, but every time i realize that i'm wrong , especially after her behavior changed these days, we don't speak every day like before, instead she started ignoring my texts from time to time and obviously avoiding speaking to me, i can't afford to lose her because i just can't imagine myself without her. What should i do ? any advice ? Thanks |

Question: Am I losing my best friend? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 05:41 PM PDT my best friend and I always fight over stupid things. sometimes it ends up saying we can t be friends anymore and stuff like that. yesterday, I got very upset over something stupid, I told her that I was upset. later that night, I told her that it seems like I m the only one that is putting in effort into this friendship and the only one that is asking to hangout. we talked today about it, I told her how I felt and I was thinking about ending the friendship last night but I didn t want to actually. she told me that I always make the same mistake and it really stresses her out when I do that because I do it a lot. I said I m sorry and I wasn t thinking at the moment because I was upset and I was just saying stuff I didn t mean. she told me that she doesn t want to deal with the negativity anymore and the stress. she told me she needs time to think about it and she doesn t know if she wants to be friends with me anymore. I honestly feel so bad and I m gonna give her space however it s driving me crazy. I can t lose her, she is my best friend and I tell her everything. I just don t know what to do and I need some help. |
Question: How do I avoid someone I know at a festival? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 05:34 PM PDT I'm going to a concert and a friends of mine is going too. I feel like our friendship is unhealthy. I've been going to this festival with my dad for years and now suddenly he and his two new best friends (who hate me) are going too. I'm really bummed out that they're going because it is the only weekend in the year where I can forget all my problems and just enjoy my life. Now that they're going too, I know i won't be able to relax and enjoy my weekend. This friends Always k=kind of wants to take everything I enjoy and this just adds up to the pile. Question: Is this considered a rude thing to do? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 05:01 PM PDT Ok, so my 14th birthday party is coming up soon, and my mom is hosting a huge party for my twin and I. My brother is having a hard time making friends, and since I m considered "popular" in school, she thought I could invite some guys that are cool that would hang with my brother. So I invited a friend of mine (who s a guy), and our convo went something like this: Me: hey ______! My brother and I are having a birthday party soon, and I was wondering if u could make it Him: ummm, you re joking right? Me: no, my mom wants me to invite some boys to even out the number of boys and girls Him: well no offense, but I don t really want to come Me: why?? Him: cause it just doesn t sound like it would interest me. I gtg now, bye So u tell me!! Is what he did considered a rude thing to do? Keep in mind we ve known each other for a few years and we ve become pretty close |
Question: Did I say something wrong in this conversation? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 04:54 PM PDT My friend and I were walking together and talking about summer plans. I told her I was going to Hawaii and asked what she was going to do this summer. She flipped out and said really angrily,"no, I'm not going anywhere because some of us have to work a summer job to pay for college!" I was kinda surprised by her answer and wasn't sure what I had done to make her so angry. Did I say something offensive or mean? Please help! |
Question: Should I go to a public or private high school? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 04:52 PM PDT The major reasons why I shouldn't go to public are that I would go to a worse college, more difficult to make the sports teams, and harder to keep up with the classes. I'm very smart and athletic, yes, but in public school it's definitely harder to be on top. However, I already know everyone since I'm in the public middle school, and I have friends and people like me. Reasons why I shouldn't go to private are that it's completely starting over, and my ex-best friend will be going to be there. It's really petty written out, but a lot of bad stuff happened between us because she did nudes and other sexual interactions that she became a pariah for and stole my closest other friend. She also gossips about me to my new friends and other people, all of who come up to me and tell me about what's she's said. But in a private school, there's less people so her voice will be more valuable there. Plus one of her good friends already has a "cool" sister there and if she manages to convinces them that I'm the crazy one, I would be considered an outcast there. I know it shouldn't matter my social life because going to this private school would mean better college options and my parents both went to extremely good schools (Stanford and Princeton), but the thought of becoming a social outcast just because of her makes me wonder if it's even worth going. I'd like a second opinion that isn't biased, and sorry for the rambling. |
Posted: 09 Jul 2016 04:49 PM PDT My mom always says I am and she tells me to go to hell all the time. My friends find me really easy to make fun of! Whenever I make a common sense mistake they always laugh and call me an idiot. I'm really sick of all this. |

Question: What's the status of our platonic relationship? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 04:39 PM PDT I met a fellow girl in my acting class who seemed really nice. We would get together, talk, eat, and go over our lines. However, she had done things that have rubbed me the wrong way. One time she asked me if I was dating anyone. I said no, and she said "oh now I don't feel so bad". Apparently, she was "talking" to a guy, but there was no real commitment. She also tends to go hours without responding to my text, which is okay. She could be busy. However, when she responds, she always has an excuse as to why it took her so long to respond. I don't question her, so I find it weird. On the plus side, she did congratulate me when I got a new car, so I'm not sure where to place her. |
Posted: 09 Jul 2016 04:13 PM PDT My childhood best friend and I know this girl our "Best Friend" has been talking aboit her ex boyfriend over and over again. Not all the time but damn. I've been friends with her since high school. She's been wanting to get revenge on her ex boyfriend from how he treated her. She wanted my best friend to send the naked porn pictures but my best friend never did which is good. This girl is sweet but that's going overboard. We tried telling her we don't wanna hear it but she keeps talking about it sometimes. She wanted to try to get her ex boyfriend arrested since he shoplifted a while back. Even her mom thought it was funny. How do we get our friend to understand? We can't always talk on the phone everyday My best friend doesn't wanna be around her sometimes and rather talk on the phone with me than her.. She didn't want me to tell our friend about the outing we're at now and I didn't. This girl called me three hours ago. I don't wanna lie if she ask why haven't i called her back. Even my best friend's mom dont like her. I don't know if I should tell my popa about. I'm just tired of your friend talking about her ex boyfriend sometimes |

Question: Best friend got a gf and now we never hang out? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 03:42 PM PDT My best friend of 10 years and also my neighbor used to hang out every day, all year long and especially during summer. Until 2 years ago when everything changed. He got a GF and started to hang around her all the time and she became his #1. I find myself texting him to hang out only to find out hours later he was hanging out with her or had work or whatever. It sucks because I feel left behind. Going from hanging out every day for hours to now seeing him like an hour or two every two weeks. I dont want to break them up because he is happy with her. A friend I thought id never lose is drifting away and it seems Im helpless to do anything. How do I deal with something like this? |

Now she's having a first birthday party for him this year and asked if I'm going. I said no flat out. The way I see it shes always blown my birthday off even though I did stuff for hers. Question: How Can I Get My Best Friend Back? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 03:07 PM PDT Me and another girl were best friends almost all through jr high. In April of 8th grade we started going through a lot of challenges for our friendship. I moved away, she reconnected with her elementary school best friend and i started feeling left out because i was living an hour away from all their fun. Eventually we brought up the past in our fights and we just parted ways. After that i felt betrayed and i tried to get revenge on both of them. I told people their secrets and all that typical teenage girl stuff while they tried to turn everyone at my old school against me. Soon i became depressed and suicidal but lets not go into detail on that... Anyway, I actually really started to miss my best friend. I called her a few months later and tried to get her back and she said she d think about it. The next day i got a text from her saying that there was too much working against our friendship and she wasnt ready to take on the pressure. She and her new best friend blocked me shortly after that on every social media they had. Apparently they are still gossiping about me to this day and I really need help getting my best friend back.If you have any ideas please help, thanks. |
Question: What would you think about a friend who got you the same identical gift for your birthday? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 03:02 PM PDT I baked a cake for my friend for her birthday out of the kindness of my heart. I put thought into the flavors, colors, etc.. Then for my birthday she went and baked the same exact identical cake. I felt weird because it wasn't genuine or sincere more like I was being paid back or tit for tat. What would you think about all of this? |
Posted: 09 Jul 2016 02:48 PM PDT I'm in my 40s and am a straight guy with a demanding job. Most of my neighbors and other people who I run into regularly, friends or not (such as people who I see at the gym every day) are in the same situation. We don't have much free time and focus on our families and jobs. So, if you're in this situation: How often do people (who you aren't already friends with) invite you to do things such as grab a beer or meet for lunch, without a business goal, and just as friends? For example, if you meet another straight middle-aged guy with a white collar job at church or at the gym, how often would he invite you to get together just as friends and for no other purpose? Does that happen much? Thanks. |
Question: Should i feel bad? Should i have sat with him? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 02:43 PM PDT So i went at the mall with my best friend (we're both girls and 14) and we went at the food court to eat... I saw a classmate from my afterschool lessons and we said hi to each other... Afterwards i saw my guy friend with his brother's girlfriend and his cousin eating and i also talked to him and we were sharing glances towards each other...we were making grimaces to each other like normal friends you know... So i saw the classmate from earlier (he's a boy) and he was eating by himself... I felt bad and i wanted to go and sit with him and be friendly,so i told my best friend if we should go to his table... She said that we would make him feel uncomfortable that he is alone and that we "pity" him so I thought she was kinda right... Now i feel SO bad that I haven't sat with him... Did i do the wrong or the right thing? I feel like crying because honestly I don't want to be a bad person and i wanted to sit with my classmate (we are a bit friends I'm not sure)... Should i text him and say that I'm sorry or would that confuse him? |
Question: I dropped out of my friend's wedding...was I wrong? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 02:39 PM PDT We've been friends since high school, I'm 30 years old now. I love my friend; however, I have always felt unimportant in her life. She's not good with communication, and forgets to tell me important things going on in her life. I also feel like she's not there for me at times when I need her. We've had discussions about her lack of communication, or her lack of responding to my text messages. She said she would do better, but never really did. So when she decided to tell me that she got in engaged last summer via text, I was happy for her, but at the same time, I was annoyed by the fact that all of sudden she knows how to communicate, after we've had issues with her communication. I felt like she only wanted to tell me about her engagement to brag about it. Well, my 30th birthday party rolls around, & she knows that my birthdays are VERY important to me. But my friend has a track record of ALWAYS showing up EXTREMELY late to events, and I tried to let her know way in advance when it was so that she schedule time off to be there for me. However, she shows up 15 minutes before the party was over, like it was nothing. So that was the final straw for me, and I dropped out of her wedding. Was I wrong??? She's consistently never there for me, and I was tired of it. |
Question: What is he trying to say? Any meaning? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 02:35 PM PDT My co-worker and I have been friends for over a year now, and it seems that what he said has gotten me to question the meaning behind it. He knows that I don't ever want children, and he's told me before that he would have children because that's what comes next after marriage. But today was really weird. Our conversation was a little more strange. He asked what I think my highest peak in life would be, and I said spending time with someone I care about. Then out of curiosity I asked him what his highest peak would be, and he said finding the one. In addition we got on the topic of children again and I made a joke saying he would have a lot because after finding the one, kids would be next. He ended up saying that he's changed his mind and doesn't want kids anymore. So I changed the subject to how he would find the one, and he said that he would wait for her at his desk (being funny). I'm not sure, it felt a little weird how everything was going down. Is he trying to hint something? Or am I becoming a more closer friend to him? He does trust me, took a while, but I ended up gaining his trust. So I want to think its the budding of a close friendship, but I just want to make sure that what he mentioned isn't code word for something more. And I don't want to hurt him by being ignorant. So just in case, I'm asking for others opinion. Thank you! |
Posted: 09 Jul 2016 02:19 PM PDT I'm 13 and have these friends that are way cooler than me now over the summer and They video chat each other and everything and I don't do that but they planned the lunch table at lunch and I'm not included. Question: My own sister invites me to places, then stands me up? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 01:56 PM PDT My sister has invited me to big events with her friends then, she will attends those places without me and brag about what happened. It's happened a few times already. Please don't tell me to ask her why. We don't have those types of conversations because we were not raised that way. We don't discuss those things we always have to cover our true feelings about things. I am more curious as to what could be some possible reasons for the treatment in general of all this? |
Question: Dirty thoughts about my bestfriend (both girls)? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 01:53 PM PDT I recently did a boudoir themed photoshoot with my best friend of 5 years. We were both casual and comfortable with the thought because we ve been best friends for soooo long so it was no big deal. During the shoot, everything went okay and it was really fun but at one point, I started getting really, really turned on. I had to be professional about all of this so I kept shooting. Fast forward blah blah, while I was showing her how to do a pose, I ended up caressing her inner thighs and kissing her neck. We ended up doing things to each other in the moment and then I had to go home. Is that weird? Is any of this weird? I had never done anything like this with my best friend I feel too ashamed to see her again. I don t know what to do about it???? |
Question: How do I ask my friend to set me up with his friend after I originally said no? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 01:49 PM PDT So I told my friend that I thought his friend was cute and he said that he would hook us up. I originally said no since I'm a very shy person and it was during the last week of school which wouldn't give me a lot of time to get to know him better face to face. He ignored me and still told his friend that he knew someone who thought he was cute and showed him who I was, his friend then told him to give me his phone number. I still refused, and eventually my friend stopped bugging me about it but not before telling me his friend was disappointed that I didn't text him and wanted to get to know me. Now I really regret not getting his number and trying to start something up with him. I'm waiting until school starts to ask my friend to try and set us up again, but how do I reinitiate the subject to him when I see him again without sounding stupid for changing my mind? |

Question: Is it possible for me to help my depressed friend? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 01:40 PM PDT Hello. So, i have a friend who is depressed. A year ago he broke up with his ex and it left him really depressed, with a hint of suicidal thoughts. It lasted for two months, he even went to a 'hospital' and got medicine for depression. We thought that all was fine for the winter, until lately he said to my friend that nothing interests him, not work not life no nothing, is now unemployed, just plays games and he still thinks about his ex. It really annoys me that i can't make him wake up to the reality life doesn't end there, especially when he should be thankful to get away from her (she was a manipulative, really immature personality, not pleasant. You might think that i have no right to say that, but you don't know it all). He just seems to live in the past and does not want to get over this. Is there any possible way that we, as his good friends, could help him? Or is this beyond our help and should direct him to the professionals. Again? |
Question: One of my best friends is starting to only talk about herself? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 01:17 PM PDT I've always been the "advisor" and "confidant" to many of my friends, and I always like to help my friends out if they are going through a rough time. It doesn't surprise me when by best friend asks for advice on what she should do in a situation, but it's becoming an every day thing now? I don't mind, but it's gotten to the point where she would only ask her advice and change the topic back to herself when I say something about me... Every little thing about her life, she would tell me and ask me what she should do, and those are the only things we talk about now. I don't want to hurt her feelings and act like I don't care about her, but it's always something new everyday; problems with her family, boy talk, what she should wear, etc. What should I do? |
Question: Should a friendship end because of difference in opinions about drugs? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 01:12 PM PDT My friend does not want to talk anymore because I do not want to try pot or mushrooms. He believes I think less of him because of it but I told him I respect him for his ideas about taking them for meditation and well being. I told him to respect me because I do not want to try them. He thought it was a kick in the balls because I told him I didn't want to try and I said that he can do them if wanted to on a planned hike this summer. He does not want to socialize with someone who only drinks alcohol. |
Question: I can't leave the house? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 01:02 PM PDT This has been going on for over a year. I can't force myself to leave my house. I can't really tell what it is exactly that makes me not want to leave my house. It makes me upset because my parents constantly call me mentally ill and can't understand why I don't want to leave my house. They claim it is a pathway to a mental asylum. My personal assumption is fear or laziness. I only leave my house when my parents force me to due to me being underage otherwise I never have the incentive to get up and go. It's getting so bad to the extent where my parents would ask me to go out with them and I refuse because I don't want to go and I understand on how much I am missing out. This is supposed to be the "good years" of my life where you **** up and do all sorts of rebellious crap. I just prefer staying at home. I used to have a best friend which I used to LOVE going out and doing things with but she travelled. Now that I dropped out of public high school I barely have any friends to be precise none. If you have any suggestions on what I could possibly do to battle this situation and maybe make some new friends please leave your advice below. Oh, and I just wanted to mention I am not allowed to go see any therapists as they are extremely expensive where I live. |
Question: People don't know I exist? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 12:50 PM PDT I'm 14 years old and I will start to the high school after this summer. I'm very shy and quiet at first, but when I get closer with people, they always say Im really funny and a good friend. I mean "they" are only 3 people and they are my only friends. When Im with them Im the one who makes the group laugh. But in class, Im always the quiet girl. In my country every year our classmates change, so every year Im in the same class with same people 9 hours a day and when I finally get to know them year ends and classes change. This year in the first day of school, 8 hours passed and a girl said "what?? (My name) is in our class?? I'm noticing now, wow, you are so quiet (my name)!!!" Then everyone except my desk mate turned to me and they were surprised. They didnt notice me until the last Lesson... When teachers do a sitting plan, nearly every person I sat with said "ugh, her again? But she never talks or laughs" I dont want the same thing this year. but when I talk with new people I feel awkward. But when Im with my friends I never shut up:d I want to be known at least in my year. (Last year my friend who is in another class said she was telling a story that includes me and everyone in her class asked who am I..) yes, people I see at breaks and lunches dont know me really. Sorry this was long but my question is, how I become a "normal" person like everyone, I want to be noticed. I want to have a lot of friends and not be the quiet loser again this year. |
Question: Is it normal not to have any close friends? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 12:33 PM PDT I'm almost 23 and I don't have any close friends. I use to be really close to friends from high school, but we lost touch and some have moved pretty far away. I not anti social, I go to a meet up that I like about once a month and sometimes go out for a beer with the people from my BJJ gym. But I never have the desire to get close to anyone. I don't have anyone I feel like seeing all the time or hanging out with them and I like being like this. I like staying home on my own most if the time, and don't really like it when people come over to my place. But my older sister and my parents seem to think its bad and worry about me, my sister is always trying to get me to go out with her and her friends but I don't feel like ever going. Is that weird or abnornal? |
Question: My friend has become a racist....? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 12:32 PM PDT My best friend has been my best friend for over 20 years. She was even in my wedding. She is black and I am white. There's never been any discussions of race or anything of the sort we always just accepted each other for who we were. Lately my friend has been spewing a ton of hatred on her Facebook page about white people. Things I honestly feel are really offensive. She recently told me she was glad that the police got shot and that more black people need to stand up and continue shooting white cops until the white cops stop killing innocent blacks. Im honestly shocked that this type of thing is coming out of her mouth. The things she has been saying lately have made me begin to question this friendship. I've tried to speak with her about it and was told I would never understand because I'm not black and that I'm a "privileged white person?" I don't know what that means. Anyway, anyone have an opinion or advice? |
Question: How can I get my mind off things? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 12:28 PM PDT I am 22 year old male. I haven't experienced dating or never had a girlfriend. I always tend to fall for girls really easily. Like if I see a really beautiful celebrity I instantly fall for her and have a celebrity crush. It then goes to me thinking about that crush for a week or so. I want to get a girlfriend eventually. Am I just so sensitive and vulnerable that this happens to me? I don't really like it, especially when someone gets stuck in my head. Hopefully I can eventually get a girlfriend, I'll appreciate any tips you have. |
Question: Is it wrong for people to play with people that arent in their grade or age group? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 11:59 AM PDT Ok so I'm really annoyed with my 9 year old brother playing with this 5 year old girl that doesnt even live near us or even my family doesnt know her. They ABOSLUTELY HAVE NOTHING IN COMMON. That whats make me annoyed the most. And one of my friends said that "shes way to young to hang out with and that he really should be talking and playing with people in his grade.' |
Question: What am I doing wrong socially? (please, serious answers)? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 11:57 AM PDT Hi, I seem to be able to make good first impressions. I am confident during those first few interactions. However, I have noticed that after a few weeks I am not "in the loop". People seems to drift away from me. I try to get people together and arrange plans but they simply ignore me or do not give me priority. I don t like communicating through text so I only text to make plans. I am also afraid to bring up too deep of conversations about me because I am afraid people will find out I am a loner. However, I am always willing to help others with their own personal problems. I just don t know why this drifting occurs. I need to fix it and make higher quality friendships. (Note: I am trying my best to be polite and make small talk as well) |
Question: Why is it that every time I say something casual to my friend, they say, "Okay" ? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 11:44 AM PDT Ever since I have been friends with this person, when I say a statement, they respond with Okay almost every time. For instance, I will tell them that I am level 100 in a game and all they say is Okay. It s really bothering me now, what should I do? |
Question: Help! I m trying to prove a point to my brother but i dont know how to? Question: How to be in a community of friends? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 10:36 AM PDT I am a mom with 2 kids and I've always wanted to be in one of those neighborhoods where everyone is friends and they always do things together. How do you make this happen? |
Question: Do you think this is rude? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 10:33 AM PDT So I am on a swim team and after the meet the whole team was supposed to go to this restaurant to eat lunch together. Well there is a clique on the team and they didn't come to the restaurant, but instead they went to another restaurant with just their group. In my opinion this was pretty rude because they ditched the rest of the team and it's not showing team spirit. Do you think this is rude? |

Question: How do I politely ask an irl friend to unfollow my private insta? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 10:12 AM PDT I have two accounts, one that I use with people I know irl and one that's more personal that I don't want shared with people I know irl. My friend/friend's sister found my personal account and followed me. I just want to have a space for me on insta where I don't have to worry about people I know irl intruding on parts of my personal life. How do I politely ask her to just follow my other account? Please don't send answers telling me that it's a public account and that its my fault she followed. That's simply just not useful |
Question: Why is my family always worried about me? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 10:08 AM PDT I am a guy and I am the youngest and I find that my parents and older siblings are very protective of me and they are always worried about me. When I was a kid I had to get my spleen removed and I almost died because of it. An example of my family being overprotective is I can't go out with my friends unless they know the person or one of my siblings goes with me. My siblings are also protective of me especially my older brothers who will not let me do anything they feel will hurt me. Like when I want to date they always make sure the girl I am with is a good girl and not a slut. Also if I want to date they put every girl I want to date through an interrogation and my sisters are even worse than my older brothers because they intimidate the girls I like. Why is family like this? Is yours like mine? |
Question: Should I have said something? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 10:05 AM PDT Okay so during school there was this girl in my class who was really nice. She's a great friend and tbh I was kinda attracted to her. Well one day she was sitting down and when she got up I noticed that her pants were riding a little low and her spandex were showing. I know they were spandex cause earlier in the year she told me she always wears spandex under her clothes. I know she doesn't get embarrassed over literally anything anymore because she doesn't care but should I have said something? If so, what? |
Question: My best friend Cutting? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 09:56 AM PDT When I'm with my best friend she is always making jokes about people who cut calling them stupid and attention seekers, but she cuts herself. She thinks I think she stopped but I notice all the new cuts on her thigh saying "sad" and little red lines all around when she comes over to swim. What should I do? |
Question: Were people staring at my feet, or am I just being paranoid? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 09:52 AM PDT Okay I'm a guy and I've wanted to wear my flip flops to school since I started high school, I'm about to be a senior when school starts btw. I was always afraid of what people would say/think or if people would like stare at my feet and toes. I mean for a guy I do have really nice feet and toes but I'm still kinda self conscious when people look at them, I try to hide them. Anyway on the last day of summer school for my junior year I finally wore them. I wore them with I nice matching outfit haha I had an Adidas shirt and my flip flops were Adidas. Throughout the day I was feeling really good about myself but also kinda self conscious. We're people staring at my feet, or was I just being paranoid? And what do you rhino about guys wearing flip flops? |
Question: How come people are just like this? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 09:49 AM PDT When they don't want something, they just let their situation answer for them. When a person really want something, they will always find a way to get it. Some of my friends no longer talk to me as much (once a month, it used to be everyday) and I accuse them of not having that much interest and they got mad at me. When I try to sit next to a friend, she claims that I should 2 seats away from her because she is "saving" a seat for her "friends". There's an empty seats on both side of her. When I ask a club official when is their first meeting, they said they need to wait to find out the availability of everyone else's, and a year later, that club official never gotten back to me. I ask a friend if he wants to join me for movies, he said sure, I ask him, when is he free to hangout, he said not sure when. 1. How come people just can't be honest with their answers? 2. Why are people afraid to verbally hurt others? It is better to just tell them what they don't want since it will give them false hope in them. 3. For people that don't communicate as often, how come they just don't admit that they don't have as much interest in that person anymore? 4. If they let the person then don't want it anymore because the person have caused that, how come the person that lets just can't say "I won't be able to take you because I don't like you as much" vs "ah, I don't have enough interest so I let a situation happen that prevents that interaction from happening" |
Question: How would you feel receiving a video? Would it be weird? Posted: 09 Jul 2016 09:40 AM PDT my teacher recently died, it's been hard. We were very close, he taught me cane mobility for 2 yrs, I used to be blind but I got my vision back.. He had been heavy on my mind. I felt I needed to contact his sister he told me about. I found her and messaged her comforting words, how I was his student and how special Mr.J was to me, what a blessing he was and what awesome of a brother he was to her. I sent pictures of us too and she loved them. We began talking a lot about him and all he did, share stories, how awesome he was. We're FB friends and she's like/shared every post I had about Mr.J. She randomly goes and likes all of my posts (about him) Talking to her gave me comfort, why? Today i felt to share an important cane class accomplishment with her. She was explaining how proud she/Mr.J would've been of me. Gave me advice and was complimenting me. She then went and liked all of my posts I ever posted about him and shared everything. I was thinking, I'm not big on the whole messaging my condolences to her, I have a lot of important things to say that can't fully be received through just a message. would it be weird if I made a video of me introducing myself and explaining to her what a blessing/how important he was to me and sending it to her? I didn't want to call her, that'd be overwhelming for her, and I didn't want to just message it because it's too important. What do you think, how would she feel? |
