My best friend has a 22 month son. I ve seen the baby since he was born. We always hang out and most of the time the baby is there and I don t have any issues with that. So I m a 16 year old high school student and I have quite a few friends. My parents have been pressuring me to have them over but I don t feel the need or want to. I've always had this bad habit of being way too nice to people in fear of them getting angry at me. Even if someone is acting weird, I still force myself to be nice, even if I hate them inside. I am going to be a sophomore in college. I live at home with my parents so last year I joined a sorority as a way to get involved. This morning I found out my best friend of 21 years left town with her boyfriend without saying anything. So me and my friends are at the park (not I'm not a child, I'm 15) we're playing tag and this random guy (16-17yrs) randomly joins us and everyone agrees to let him play..whenever he's it he only gets me when when there were about 8 others playing..I'm the only one of my friend who actually runs fast lmao and he's like everyone you should run like her ..and then ya..later on my little brother is telling him about how I'm his sister idk why and then the guy just like naw u only have a brother, she (aka me) isn't a girl (but clearly I am, I'm dressed in all pink, I have makeup hair done etc..) and then he's like naw just messing with you Like wtf is he saying???

The summer has started and I expected to have a good relaxation time to hang out with my friends but however, my parents had other plans. They decided to sign me up for classes every single day and then send me off to summer school for a month. When I get one free day off, they just tell me, "no I'm not letting you go." I don't really think it's because they don't trust me but I just think it's insanely unfair to see all my friends go hang out all the time and me sitting at home doing math workbooks.

I think I was raped. My friend got drunk and he kinda forced me to have sex. I had to tell my dad because I'm 15. He asked me if I tried to close my legs during it. I said no because I wasn't strong enough in the first place but I was also scared. He asked if I tried to fight back at all and I said no. He then told me that I wanted it if I didn't try to fight back at all. He said that its normal for guys to want to have sex around females and that my friend was also intoxicated so it didn't matter. Maybe this was my fault. I didn't fight back at all and I was wearing tight jeans. My own father thinks it's my fault so it probably is.

I have plans to watch the match tonight with friend A and I think that friend B wants to join. How do I ask friend A, who does not know friend B, if friend B can join? How much time in advance should I ideally ask?

My best friends both back stabbed me and my other friends all have serious boyfriends and I don't see them. My best friend is now my boyfriend because my other friends just are not good people and have hurt me. I haven't yet told them how I feel but I thought maybe it was better just leave it. Is it unhealthy to not have friends? I just Keep getting hurt by friendships and don't see them worth it anymore.

Ok I know this may seem like a random question. But it's really troubling me... So I have this one best friend who I met in kindergarten and then I moved somewhat far but we're still "best" friends and see each other very often. And then I have another best friend who I met in fourth grade after I moved.. He's literally my go to person for plans or to invite places and to hangout with. but plot twist. They hate each other... And the reason this happened was because when I was around 12 I invited them both to a party and I told one of them that I had another best friend.. And they got mad that I had another one.. And they called him a fag. And it's also the reason I feel guilty to this day. I'm a 15 year old boy in high school btw

Long story short I have been friends with this friend of mine for almost three years. She bartends at a bar that frankly i would never go to if she did not work there. I was having a birthday party and she said if I did it on a Saturday she would be able to go otherwise she would miss it.well I went through a lot getting the bartender and the bar manager and the owner of the bar in was having it at to agree. Well it came and went.she text me saying she was catching a nap and would be there soon. Then never heard from her nor seen her. I was pretty ticked, granted it was my own fault for going out of myway for her, I deleted her from Facebook as well as my life. Months later talked it out and made up. Now if I'm visiting her and its another friend of hers birthday I just get ticked off. At the fact that she had me rearrange for her and blew me off, that mine didn't seem to mean anything, and that there's does when they don't do anything except show up at a bar when she happens to work. Tonight I got so mad I left. Someone said I need to say that I'm still mad and why, its really not that she missed my party, I'm not that petty. It's that she said if I did Saturday shed make it and I had friends who couldn't due to it being on a Saturday. Then she could not even text mesaying she would not make it. Yet she can throw a big deal out for someone else. Its been months I just keep getting mad every time.

So I'm16 year old girl been homeschooled my whole life..I have very strict parents.. I'm not aloud to do sports because I'll get hurt. Can't go to a regular school because I'll get bullied and let people walk all over me, Can't walk my dog by myself because I'll get kidnapped. Can't have a phone or any social media stuff because of stalkers and everything. I haven't talked to anyone outside my family that is my age for I can't even remember the last time I talked to someone my age.. It sucks I'm not aloud to go to summer camp or summer school or anything.. I think that they might be a little too over protective.. My only friend is my dog. Can't get a drivers license don't have any money. Not aloud to get a job till I'm old enough to move out.. You'd think they would bee happy that I wanted to do something other then read a book or watch tv.. How do I get them to be a little less over protective?

I dont have any friends. My old friends dont talk to me anymore coz they think iam a loser. I dont feel like talking to anyone as a result i cant make new friends. Even my parents dont talk to me nicely. What should i do?

I have been shy all my life. Never gone out with friends or struggled with making friends since I couldn't talk. Only went out once to prom. It's been a year since I graduated I'm 18 and started working at a warehouse, but mostly everyone are older with kids but I made one friend my age that doesn't work there anymore so I asked if he wanted to hang out and we have hung out twice and still text sometimes.i have a close friend from middle school but she never wants to hang out and takes a long time to reply. I FaceTime a close friend from highschool every week since she lives far and my other close friend is in the army. I go out to eat and do errands by myself. I start colleg until the fall but for now I feel like I need to go out more and meet people and live life. It's just hard since have no friends. On my time off I use it making videos for YouTube since I'm very into style. I start of a fashion colle until next year. A few months ago I also went to volunteer at a fashion show, but for now idk what else to do. Work takes up a lot of Time but I have two days off. I want to go to many places and dress up and talk to people but I have to do it all by myself. But this year I have been talking more and don't feel as nervous. I almost feel as if I can do anything. With my guy friend I talk to him and am myself which I never was able to do in school.any advice?I am a girl

Im not sure if she actually "doesn't" like talking to me though. sometimes i dont know what to say when she said something so i say nothing, but that leaves an awkward silence :/ and i dont want to force myself to say something when i dont know what to say because I'd probably regret it later... And i sometimes get the idea that she gets irritated by my slow thinking/ silence. But i feel like, shes too nice to admit it... sometimes i feel like she talks about me behind my back. And it makes me feel like shes losing respect towards me...? I use have enough energy to keep up with her conversations but now, since i have trust issues with her, my energy is lesswhen im with her and i just dont talk as much as i use to anymore... I try my best... But she rarely TEXTS me first. and i dont want to text her first anymore im tired of that. I want to keep this friendship strong but i feel like shes gonna be another one of my "long time no see! I missed you!" friend, instead of a friend that would'nt be afraid to talk to me first, text me first, or isnt afraid to criticise me or make fun of eachother... She's one of my only close friends. I dont want her to be be awkward... But I cant help but feel awkward too at times? x/ Sorry. It's complicated. Sometimes its overwhelming to think about but i brush it off.
